It’s Too Big
My mum says it’s a toothbrush,
but it’s much too big for me,
and why does it stand on the floor
next to the lavatory?

Stay With Me Heartache
Here I am
I want you to know that I understand
What it is you're giving me
I've got it all brand new
Here we are
Put up a show of hands
But I've got the feeling that
They don't know what they're gonna do
We don't live there no more
We've got the room on the second floor
Oh, we don't live there no more
Stay with me heartache so I can keep it right
Another day with the heartache
You know I can't stand the night
Think about the people in the foreign lands
Think about the dirty money in my hands
Think I know the reason why it doesn't work out right
Think of all the needy with a helping hand
Think of all the greedy people in our land
Think they know the reason why it doesn't work out right
I don't live there no more
I've got the suite on the penthouse floor
Oh, I don't live there no more
Stay with me heartache so I can keep it right
Another day with the heartache
You know I can't stand the night
Stay with me heartache so I can keep it right
Another day with the heartache
You know I can't stand the night
I don't live there no more
I've got the suite on the penthouse floor
Oh, I don't live there no more
See my pride
Been looking for it once or twice
Lost my pride
I'm really gonna make it right
I don't live there no more
I've got no room on the penthouse floor
Oh, I don't live there no more
Stay with me heartache so I can keep it right
Another day with the heartache
You know I can't stand the night
Stay with me heartache so I can keep it right
Another day with the heartache
You know I can't stand the night

I Fall In The Abyss Of Love
Shadows disperse
in your room
As morning sunbeams
herald a new day
Piercing lace curtains
to rest on your shoulders
Painting your skin akin
to soft silver moonshine
I feel your beautiness
magnetises nearer
Your fresh face competes
with a sleepy glow
I cannot stop
the urge to kiss you
My toothbrush
falls to the floor
I softly place my hands
on the silver moon
Like touching a thousand
threads of woven silk
Then we disappear
in the abyss of love

Have A Nice Rest Of Your Life
There's not a mean bone in my body
I never could be unkind
I know we're not talking
But there's something on my mind
It ain't rightteous indignation
I don't plan to rant or rave
No need for us to fight and fuss
I just want to say
Have a nice rest of your life without me
I'll be proud to be a part of your history
If it makes you happy, honey
Keep talking bad about me
And have a nice rest of your life without me
I know you're not heartless
Not callous and you're not cruel
And I know you don't mean to
When you treat me like a fool
I beleive that your good nature
Will emerge with someone else
If I can't be beside you
I can be beside myself.
Have a nice rest of your life without me
I'll be proud to be a part of your history
If it makes you happy, honey
Keep talking bad about me
And have a nice rest of your life without me
Without me
Don't forget your pocketbook, honey
Or your toothbrush
Don't forget you toothbrush, dear...

Time And Preferences Change
To disobey that voice inside that says,
'Avoid companionship!
An infrequent one night stand...
Is a better trip to take,
Than to get involved...
With a longlasting commitment.'
Becomes advisable,
Especially...
When those one night stands,
Become addictions!
And they begin...
Not to make a bit of sense.
When age and the reality of it hits!
And a one night stand,
Found to be one adored...
Remembers you,
When they were once a child.
And all they want to use you for...
Is the experience of it.
Not commitment or companionship.
But the 'experience' of it.
And there 'you' are...
Believing...
'Finally someone understands'.
And you may find with them,
You are ready to settle down...again.
And from them is exclaimed,
'I am here only for the sex.
I am not here to go to sleep and wake up,
For the rest of my life,
To smell your breath.'
Remember...
Those May and September relationships,
Aren't as common as one would believe.
You will find time and preferences change...
From generation to generation.
And sex...
With another's toothbrush kept,
In one place to be left...
Is a thing of the past,
Few today 'can' or 'care' to remember!
~How old are you anyway? ~
'What difference does that make? '

Stand & Fight
Lonely hearted hunter dont say nothing
The hunger and the hurt
Got only one law
Never mind your words
Unseen, unheard, unsung, undone
Aint bot one place left to run
Stand up, stand and fight
Undercover creature that dont see sunshine
Make it in the dark
Dont think twice
Never mind making nice
Black eyes, black sights, black magical rites tonight
There comes a time, babe
Stand up, stand and fight
Dont you worry bout me little darling
No, I aint breaking
Im shaking and aching
cause I cant stand waiting
There comes a time to stand and fight
Maximum destruction
Blood red deadheads
Tearing it up, wearing it down
Never mind my name
Im unclaimed, unnamed and unashamed
Id like to say
Fan the flames
Stand and fight
You aint doing nobody no kind of favors
Lying around like a rug on the floor
Sooner or later youve got to stand up
And say you wont take it any more
Stand up, stand and fight

Stand By Me
When the night has come
And the land is dark
And the moon is the only light well see.
No, I wont be afraid,
No, I wont be afraid,
Just as long as you stand, stand by me.
And, darling, darling, stand by me,
Oh, now, now, stand by me,
Stand by me,
Stand by me.
If the sky that we look upon
Should tumble and fall,
And the mountain should crumble to the sea.
I wont cry, I wont cry,
No, I wont shed a tear
Just as long as you stand, stand by me.
And, darling, darling, stand by me,
Oh, stand by me,
Stand by me,
Stand by me,
Stand by me-ee, yeah.
Whenever youre in trouble, wont you stand by me?
Oh, now, now, stand by me,
Oh, stand by me,
Stand by me,
Stand by me.
Darling, darling, stand by me,
Please, stand by me,
Oh, stand by me,
Stand by me,
Stand by me.
Me-ee -

Coming Up
our father who art in a penthouse
sits in his 37th floor suite
and swivels to gaze down
at the city he made me in
he allows me to stand and
sollicit graffiti until
he needs the land I stand on
I in my darkened threshold
am pawing through my pockets

Stand By Love
You know my heart beats rhythm and my dreams still take me higher
Ive travelled round the world but they cant cure my desire
The city looks pretty tonight
Hold on now lets go till morning
Get up on love and stand by me
Stand by love, stand by me
Im a shell shocked lover, under cover thats my game
Im your long lost brother, little sister whats your name
I feel so alone
Im stranded and so far from home Im calling
Get up on love and stand by me
Stand by love, and stand by me
Stand by love
Love - stand by love stand by me
Stand by love stand by me
Give me one good reason why you dont come play with fire
cos when the earth starts moving you know Im no liar
The city looks pretty tonight
Oh hold on now lets go till morning
Get up on love and stand by me
Stand by love, and stand by me
Stand by love stand by
Stand by love
Stand by love stand by me
Stand by love stand by me
Stand by love stand by me
Stand by love stand by me
Stand by love stand by me
Stand by love stand by love
Stand by love stand by love
Stand by me
