I Fall In The Abyss Of Love

Shadows disperse
in your room
As morning sunbeams
herald a new day
Piercing lace curtains
to rest on your shoulders
Painting your skin akin
to soft silver moonshine
I feel your beautiness
magnetises nearer
Your fresh face competes
with a sleepy glow
I cannot stop
the urge to kiss you
My toothbrush
falls to the floor
I softly place my hands
on the silver moon
Like touching a thousand
threads of woven silk
Then we disappear
in the abyss of love

Silver Threads & Golden Needles

Silver threads and golden needles cannot mend this heart of mine
And Ill never drown my sorrow in the warm glow of your wine.
You cant buy my love with money, for I never was that kind,
Silver threads and golden needles cannot mend this heart of mine.
Go ahead!
I dont want your golden mansions with a tear in every room,
All I wants the love you promised, beneath the halo moon.
But you think I should be happy with your money and your name
And hide myself in sorrow while you play your cheatin game.
Silver threads and golden needles cannot mend this heart of mine
And Ill never drown my sorrow in the warm glow of your wine.
You cant buy my love with money, for I never was that kind,

Dusk to Dawn for M ladyTara

The evening breeze a lullaby
which echoes softly in the sky
and bids the sun go to his rest.
The silver moon will take his place
dispensing silver light with grace.
When night has passed the sun will rise
and from the east will paint the skies
with pastel tints we love the best.
From palest pink to rose and gold.
A miracle that men behold
with wondering eyes, when they arise
to start the duties of the day.
from their warm beds reluctantly.
Each morning brings a fresh surprise
the sun provides triumphantly.

Musing on a thought

Would the moon be eclipsed
And the light which streams
From stars through the window
Pale to a poor comparison
Would the rain which falls
To soothe the parched dry land
Taste less sweet than imagined
Would the soft woven silk
Which clothes the naked body
Be as gentle to the skin
Or as pleasing to feel
Would the beauty of this world
Stand as testament still
When all is considered
Would a dream be a beautiful
When the eyes are closed
And all is know is what we feel
Would you gift me the answer
With a kiss from your lips

The art of living

at the center of my room
delight
on fresh roses
like your
red lips

on my bed
soft and warm silk blankets
strawberry juice on the side table
and cherry on the
glass

the window is open
fresh air from the sea
cools the room

silence is gold here
and solitude is silver

every moment is
a moment
every hour is not a rush
but on softer touch

every inch of skin
is a caress
every thought is
beautiful

every reality is true
embracing and embraced

this is the art of living
every second a relaxation

sleep comes on cat's feet
like a cloud drifting away

peace in the corner
privacy in my door

and yes, love is always
air-conditioned.

Moon Fishing

When the moon was full they came to the water.
some with pitchforks, some with rakes,
some with sieves and ladles,
and one with a silver cup.

And they fished til a traveler passed them and said,
"Fools,
to catch the moon you must let your women
spread their hair on the water --
even the wily moon will leap to that bobbing
net of shimmering threads,
gasp and flop till its silver scales
lie black and still at your feet."

And they fished with the hair of their women
till a traveler passed them and said,
"Fools,
do you think the moon is caught lightly,
with glitter and silk threads?
You must cut out your hearts and bait your hooks
with those dark animals;
what matter you lose your hearts to reel in your dream?"

And they fished with their tight, hot hearts
till a traveler passed them and said,
"Fools,
what good is the moon to a heartless man?
Put back your hearts and get on your knees
and drink as you never have,
until your throats are coated with silver
and your voices ring like bells."

And they fished with their lips and tongues
until the water was gone
and the moon had slipped away
in the soft, bottomless mud.

The Pale and Silver Moon's Blue Silk and Blossom

They bade you softly,
They bade you so -
'Do not go, do not go, '

To the pale and silver moon's blue silk and blossom
They fail you softly
Their words -
They fail you so

- To the pale and silver moon's blue silk and blossom
And in the snow
Yes - in the snow

Where words do pale, but justice do
The silver moon's blue silk and blossom
You trusted through
You trusted through

All the Riches of Royalty

The king sat in his silver bathtub one morning
And he realized, as he soaked in the soft bubbles
That you can not rule your kingdom from a silver bathtub

So he did what any other king in a silver bathtub would do-
He got out.

Looking down, he realized that he was standing on his silver rug
And as he dried his arms, he considered that perhaps
You cannot rule a kingdom from a silver bathroom rug

So he slowly stepped off of the rug, and watched the patterns of his feet
Disappear into the silver carpet.

The king walked over to his window and looked over his kingdom.
It lay below him, sparkling in all it's silver beauty
And as he watched, it seemed to come alive with people
Shining like silver in the warm sun

A tear rolled down his quietly down his cheek
And he pondered that
Maybe, just maybe
Being a king is not all that they say it is

Purple Silk

Purple silk caresses my skin like butter,
It is like the richest, darkest chocolate,
Wicked, yet magical, touches that soothe,
My skin soft to the touch,
As purple silk lets you win,
For you are like the sweetest candy to me,
You are like sugar: so sweet,
And every night, I wait for your return,
Myself having worked my fingers to the bone,
But you are my only one,
You matter more to me than the summer sun,
Because it doesn't matter to me if it is winter:
All that matters is that you are here,
Keeping me in your heart and me keeping you near,
I just know we were born equal,
For this is our spirit and our destiny,
A magical, flower filled path that we are walking along,
For together we are one: we are strong,
And we brave those storms,
That threaten to take us from the warm,
And leave us alone and destitiute,
But we are together and together we hold on,
Purple silk covering our kingsize bed,
As we renew our vows with a kiss,
And treasure this true love for always,
Our love as rich as pure gold.

Purple silk carresses my skin,
Like the richest, most luxurious cream,
And I feel the summer night breeze,
Against my beautifully, made-up face,
That smiles with real happiness,
For I have a new lover,
That I wear beautiful purple silk for,
And I lie there, naked on the bedroom floor,
The clock striking midnight,
The party not over for us,
For I have found true love,
Where kisses are so sweet,
And touches that leave me fizzy,
Because I am drunk on his love and am dizzy,
And I care about the world I live in,
And the opinions of people who live here,
In this place, this life, this time,
And he is magical, truly mine,
Like the moon and the stars of the night sky,
I treasure him like gold from a treasure chest,
And for him I do my best,
To build us a happy home,
Where we live in harmony,
And share a closeness so rare,
Like the most beautiful red ruby,
And I wear his gold wedding ring,
His beauty so great that lovers sing,
Because he lives deep inside my heart,
Purple silk for magical nights,
The room glowing from the light of the moon,
For we belong together; our bodies joining together,
And he stars in my realm of dreams,
And he is the hero in this movie scene,
So close to my heart, I cannot desert him,
And together we tackle our lives,
And deal with harsh, grey days,
Waiting for darkness to fall,
So we can be together again, for we fit,
Like the lace and silk of any garment,
That lovers share,
My skin electric with excited sweat,
And lovely shivers go through my bones,
For tonight I carress your skin with purple silk,
Our clothes discarded on the bedroom floor,
The only light being cast like magic from the moon.

Springtime Splendor

The sunset is easing over the hills
Lavishing the trees with it's beauty;
The glow of the skies gives a thrill
The sunset dresses the earth truly.
Daffodils are closely clustered in love
Others are wilted by the drafts of wind;
The lilacs seem to color the sky above
While joyous hearts and beauty are akin.
The golden sky emits dimly the foothills
Gleaming stars shimmer in their evening dress;
The shades of the trees touching the window sills
While all nature recedes to their evening rest.
What a glory! To see the full moon rising
And one sees the comet travel in the sky;
Is all this march of the sunset surprising?
This grand procession need not pass us by.
Shining brilliance from glory spill
Down on your floral garden space;
Beauty enraptures the sunset thrill
The mountain leaves hanging like lace.
There are valleys with their yellow and red
Draped around it's borders, with a strand that glow;
Revealing it's coat of green and silver thread -
It is sunset, yes sunset, this we know.
Now ponder the joy in all your experiences
And then, think of the robin's lovely nest;
How carefully they sing with assurance -
Too, the squirrel is perched at it's best.
Now, since I have watched the sunset leave
Tuck yourself away, and go to sleep;
In exotic streams of beauty now believe
On arising, your strength of joy shall leap.
Then the buzzing of cars rushing down the way
Shades are pulled, doors are tight with lock;
Opportunities are engaged for the coming day
The creator, shall with your provisions knock.
It is time for nodding, while the hills are dark
Yet graced like velvet curtains hanging still;
The breezes softly brushing yet with a spark
Beneath the leaves, creatures sleep on the hill.
May the splendor of His springtime be a message
Why not rise up through the beauty of it all;
Take the mastery of his painting as a lesson
Quiet thine heart and ye shall hear His call.

A Friend

Old age is gentle as an autumn morn;
The harvest over, you will put the plough
Into another, stronger hand, and watch
The sowing you were wont to do.
Old age
Is like an alabaster room, with soft
White curtains. All is light, but light so mild,
So quiet, that it cannot hurt.
The pangs
Are hushed, for life is wild no more with strife,
Nor breathless uphill work, nor heavy with
The brewing tempests, which have torn away
So much, that nothing more remains to fear.
What once was hope, is gone. You know. You saw
The worst, and not a sigh is left of all
The heavy sighs that tore your heart, and not
A tear of all those tears that burnt your cheeks,
And ploughed the forrows into them.
You see
How others work again and weep again,
And hope and fear. Thy alabaster room
With marble floor and dainty hangings has
A look so still, that others wonder why
They feel it churchlike. All thy life is here;
Thy life hath built the vault and paved it, and
Thy hands have woven yonder curtains that
Surround thy seat, a shady sunshine.
Age
Is feeble not to thee, as all thy wishes
Are silent and demand no effort. Age
is kind to thee, allows thee all the rest
That never came, when life was hard and toilsome.
Receive it with a smile and clothe thyself
In white, in Nature's silver crown, and sing
A lullaby of promise and of comfort.
Tell them that life is precious, after work,
And after grief and after all the deaths,
And not a loathsome burden of a life.
Old age is like a room of alabaster,
The curtains silken; thou art priest and Druid!
No mystery for thee, but Light from heaven!

Silver Blue

I got to get a message through, I dont know where were going. I wrap my arms around your naked shoulders, take cover for the night. I see you in the morning rain, oh step inside and lay beside
Tender can you close my eyes and blind me, oh give me just a smile...
Before I fade to silver, silver blue for you. before I fade to silver, silver blue for you.
Ive turned into the broken one who lost the inspiration. I want to give you all my love like water to a blood red rose. the passion - I cant deal with her. the pain - well, I can do without hi
D this is like the milky way, an ocean that only grows and grows.
And babe I fade to silver, silver blue for you. I turn and fade to silver, silver blue for you.
I wrap my arms around your naked shoulders, take cover for the night.

Oh Those Threads

Oh those threads
beautiful threads
coming together

gold and silver
tears and laughter.

creating a pattern
U and I, fashioning
us.

knotted so closely
refusing to fray

a lovely tapestry
inter-woven over
the years

Oh those threads
beautiful threads
together at last.

Where's The Silver?

Colors, colors everywhere
Colors all around

Reds and purples and blues are there
But silver can't be found

I look around, and now I've found some yellows and some greens
I look until my eyes are sore, but silver can't be seen

I look unto the vibrant clouds, but there's no silver lining
Where is all the silver that the miners should be mining?

There are no silver bells a'ringing
The silver songbirds are not singing
The orange sun hangs in the air, but I can't find silver anywhere

I look for hours, look for days, look for silver anyplace
But there always seems to be another color in it's place

I've given up this useless search
There is no silver left to find
I dropp my head and start to cry
When out of my pocket falls a silver dime

I think I might have heard the highway call
Eastern flight, dogs that bight
Signs that might be omens
Say Im goin, Im goin
Im going to carolina in my mind
With a holy host of others standing round me, yeah
Still Im on the dark side of the moon
And it seems like it goes on like this forever
You must forgive me, if its of an

Oh Sweet Silver Moon

Oh sweet silver moon
Tell your lies
Let me drown in the tears your cry
Even if just for tonight

Oh sweet silver moon
Sing me your song of sorrow
Let me drown in your dark voice
Even if just for tonight

Oh sweet silver moon
Lend me your eyes
So that I may see as you see
Even if just for tonight

Oh sweet silver moond
Tell me the stories of your past
So that I may know your darkness
Even if just for tonight

Oh sweet silver moon
Let me feel your misty beams
Flow over my pail skin
Even if just for tonight

For tomorrow I shall be gone
As your sweet beams fade
I will give myself to the eternal sun
And my ashes shall scatter to the wind...
