Am Inspired, Are You?
inspiration is not desired
to be inspired
it is discovered
and authored
it is rewarded
and guarded
by the power to live
the hour to give
an inspired
soul a sense to express,
so, i am inspired
now,
are you?
if so,
spread your wings
and fly
within you,
reach out your hands
and touch the sky
(and beyond)
stay motivated
and inspired...
if not, ask why not yourself?
why not you inspired from yours' sense?

Inspiration..
Inspiration comes and goes.
I write it down or I’ll forget while searching for a pen.
Inspiration comes and goes.
I get is from dreams or experiences.
Inspiration comes and goes.
But tell me, what inspires you.
I’m inspired by beauty, love and lust.
Giving me words and thought I dare to trust.
It’s inspiration that separates me from the rest.
‘Cause when inspiration comes words fall into place.
And things are beginning to make sense.
Sometimes I’m inspired by sorrow.
When I’m waiting in my bed for tomorrow.
And words start to become sentences.
I will start to write just to understand.
And to make me feel better so I can go to bed again.
Sometimes I write because of a pain that runs so deep.
I write cryptic lyrics about the secrets I keep.
I express them in other words so no one will understand.
But they feel not knowing what I’m trying to tell.
It’s a just way to clear my conscience.
Sometimes I write how the world could be.
Or I write about the girl of my fantasy.
Then I’m inspired by a fragment of my imagination.
And now I told a few ways where I get my inspiration.
So now tell me what inspires you.

Be Inspired
Never become discouraged...
By a lack of encouragement,
You feel is deserved.
Do what you know is best for you.
Only you know in your heart what is truthfully desired.
Be inspired.
And nurture yourself!
Not with sorrows...
Others may be glad to share.
And lend you theirs to borrow.
Do and be your best.
If anyone is there to test,
What it is you have to offer?
Let it be you,
To pass those tests!
And teach the rest who confess...
You helped them to become enlightened!
Your light gave them something to shine about!

This Poem is Dedicated to Karen Carpenter....Nightengale of Our Times
She was an icon in her own time
She sang like a nightingale
With the sweetest of sounds
As it cascaded through the air
Her voice was more than anyone could say
She made you cry and laugh
As she sang her songs of old
The tunes and the melodies
That made me sing and dance
From one end of the house
To the other, singing, dancing
She inspired me to dance
She inspired me to sing
And her brother that wrote
The songs she sang
Inspired me to write
The rhymes and words
That I love so well
They worked as a team
They grew from strength to strength
And inspired so many to aspire
To be just like them

Sans Inspiration
Tonight I’m inspired
By my lack of inspiration
I’m inspired to write
And defy this Mental constipation
Tonight I’ll write…
Simply out of spite
entirely, and completely
Without inspiration

A Mentor
From this day on
You inspired me to be a poet,
Here I unleashed my thoughts.
They rang bravely
Predestined to be
Hemmed like a woven cloth.
You and I like a seed,
Scattered to bloom
Like the lily in the field,
To be the strength of
A divided world.
Some will catch us
And will enjoy our petals
To be looked at,
Or admired
Or be tossed back again
In the wind,
And will float in the river,
Valleys and oceans.
But the important thing is
Your thoughts have inspired somebody.
Until once again
A youth will come to his senses
He will pass by
And need a mentor
To be inspired
By a man who will
Create strong courage in his young mind.

I'm A Believer (With This Known)
Take your evil self away...
To lie and hide liar.
Liar.
I am not inspired,
By your lies.
Take your evil self away...
To lie and hide liar.
Liar.
I am not inspired,
By your lies.
'Cause...
I'm a believer,
With this known...
I'm here to grow,
With this known...
And I'm not gonna stop,
With this known...
To woe,
With this known.
And I am here to overcome,
Obstacles.
With this known.
With this known.
And with this known...
People will lip,
With this known...
To deceive.
And unknown is their evil.
But...
I'm not one to give up,
Because I'm a believer.
And with this known.
Take your evil self away...
To lie and hide liar.
Liar.
I am not inspired,
By your lies.

To Die
If I die tomorrow
Know that I lived
And that's all I could have ever asked for
If I die tomorrow
Know that I loved
And to be capable of love
Is all I ever really wanted
If I die tomorrow
Know that I tried
For all who live in silent desperate acceptance
Live a life of self-destruction
If I die tomorrow
Know that all was well
For all who live a single day
Know that tragedy can accompany you
The rest of days
If I die tomorrow
Know that I was inspired
For he who has never been inspired
Never looked at himself
As he should have
And if I die tomorrow
Know that my only will in life
Was to cause a single grain of sand to tumble
Within the infinite pile of identical grains
And cause a single reaction
In the desolate hour glass
Of our existence

Inspiration Be Damned
Very worried about my positive book, it
recommended inspiration – thinking about
how great it would feel to do jobs I dislike
first, not by motivating myself with fear for
negative consequences, but being inspired
by expectations of how good it would feel
when it was done
Did my Production Sheet first, explained my
life moment by moment, all inspired – just to
be met with disdain, NO positive feelings at
all – inspiration be damned, nothing came of
it; I have to do another one – not even cold
motivation can force me towards this one –
the book also says never try to fix
Something that’s broken, my relations with
siblings and parents are SO broken, it says do
not try to fix it, so I don’t, but I’m wondering
how independent I can stand to become...

Can You Hear Me?
Inspired by inspiration
A pen bleeds emotions ink
Saturating page in prose
As a parched palate, in need, have drink
Fluent, fluid, a liquid thought
Invisible until written free
Exposing itself in lettered form
Each line molding, what's soon to be?
Words oozing with vivid imagery
Capturing reader within its clasp
Eyes hearing, ears capturing site
A shared experience within words grasp
Inspired by Inspiration
A pen bleeds emotions ink
Drizzling, doodling, dripping
Ideas, can you hear me think?

Sense of Accomplishment
Thank you!
As long as readers like yourself,
Discover that I don't make sense...
At least 'something' has been achieved!
That leaves me feeling a sense of accomplishment.
And I express my gratitude to anyone,
Who finds the time to acknowledge that point!

An Old Man Is Inspired By The Young (The Efroni Choir)
AN OLD MAN IS INSPIRED BY THE YOUNG
(The Efroni Choir)
An Old Man is inspired by the young
Their voices teach
There is still Beauty and Hope in the world,
That the world will be worthwhile
After I leave it-
And that here now in the land of Israel
Acts of Creation and Love
Inspire and even bring Happiness to
Those able still to hear and to see.

There Was A Poem I Waited To Be Inspired By
THERE WAS A POEM I WAITED TO BE INSPIRED BY
There was a poem I waited to be inspired by -
I heard it once and then again and again
And each time it reminded me
That elsewhere there were others who knew how to believe in life-
And so I told myself
I would try to write down one day
A poem of my own
Which would give others hope also.
Now writing this I think of myself as a kind of fiction-
But what great poems of hope and faith there have been
And what great voices mankind has known-
It almost makes one believe
That such a voice can come again
Even if it is not necessarily my own-

Inspiration is contagious
So stay with them who stay stirred
Thus you will never be tired
You will always stay inspired
This Gal
This gal shall do what she's always done,
listen to the rain and wait for the sun.
This gal is inspired by what she sees.
She's also inspired by the birds and bees.
This gal is happy she's a woman in love.
She knows what she feels that takes her above
this world that is always in chaos and turmoil.
Sometimes what she sees makes her blood boil.
This gal is sad at the end of the day
if love and laughter has not come her way.
She's a creature of joy and incredible delight.
This gal's in love with morning and night.
And who in the world can this gal be?
Why! haven't you guessed? This gal is me.

Poets Land
When I feel I need to write my spirit takes
wings at once and begins to fly
Throughout my veins I get inspired
Somehow I get the feeling like being in paradise
Words begin flying around just I try to
catch them they arise at once up
I feel my soul rose up to air near them
I start following them and I get more inspired
Music note symbols begin chasing each
other throughout my heart veins
Sometimes a soft melody takes my soul
to legendary worlds
Sometimes the sad voice of the lute that I
adore the most
Takes my soul with it flies to heavens
I desert the world while I get inspired
Butterflies fly inside my heart
I go to another world its not the eart
Another world It's called poets land
Poets land is filled with pure emotions and delicacy of feeling
Everywhere is colored white and surrounded with wonderful roses
Angels wear baby blue veils with smiling faces
Every while and while angels cradle by
The adorable violin music makes angels cry
Ah another world its another place
Nowhere to human greed nor for haters ugly race only pure emotions will forever revive there.
