We Name
We name and keep listening
To the heavenly voices
Which collide with the words
I recite from old books and new.
We kept on searching for the reason,
As much as the only one,
It gave an answer to our speech,
Of a knowing station.
We all listen to the blind and deaf,
As we are both of them,
As well as human can help,
But why do you see more?

These little voices in me sing
but I'm so smart, I'm deaf and blind.
Her flagrant glories -see! they swing!
These little voices in me sing
but you observe: I view nothing
and rambled babble I've declined.
These little voices in me sing
but I'm so smart, I'm deaf and blind.

My Reason
live a life that's sheltered
I'm constantly alone
reporting on my weakness
there's emptiness at home
I need to find a reason
to live this way
I'm running out of patience and my life is over
I'm standing here but I'm on my way
searching to find them answer
standing here but it's all the same
and I'm running out of patience
well I will obtain
my reason
for you
and I have gained
a reason
for you
but you left me
you left me here and I'm all alone
theres drifting by another scent
I take pity in myself
searching the event that kept me in this hell
I need to find a reason
to live this way
I'm running out of patience and my life is over
I'm standing here but I'm on my way
searching to find them answer
standing here but it's all the same
and I'm running out of patience
well I will obtain
my reason
for you
well I have gave
a reason
for you
but you left me
you left me here and I'm all alone
I'm all alone
I'm all alone
I'm all alone
I'm all a
a(strech out a long time)
well I'm searching to find my reason
to find a reason
to find my reason why I need you
and I need you
and I want you
but I need to
get away from you
and I need you
and I want you
but I need to
get away from you
and I need you
and I want you
but I need to
get away from you
and I need you
and I want you
but I need to
get away from you
well I will take my reason for you
and I needed someone to love me
but you just left me
here and allowed me
you know I needed someone to love me
but I'm all alone

A Glimpse...
in my youth i saw flying plates
broken glass lamps, wasted rice grains,
invectives and curses were always
the sounds of the house,
i promise not to copy and paste
those things, sad,
disappointing, unfortunate human
conflagrations of the innocence
of some souls,
now i am free.
i listen to nobody but only the voices within me
they are peaceful, every tapestry embroidered with logic
and reason,
searching for more wisdom
listening more than talking
i am staying and i like it this way now
the shells of the past were burned
the ashes thrown at the feet of Dipolog river.

One Reason
Lighting candles in the church of my choice
Loving strangers in the dark
Looking for someone to give me what i lack
Searching for something 'til you showed me
The gun in my back
I'm human and i need it
And i must have my beliefs
I open myself to the love (yea)
I love you 'cause you showed me
A merciful release
I'm living this time and i know you gave
Me the reason
One reason (to believe), one reason (you're the one)
One reason (to believe), one reason (my baby)
One reason (it's all i need), one reason (to believe)
Trying to get faith from the $8.50 paperbacks
Hoping they'll show me the way (the way to what)
Man in a crisis, a young girl in his bed
She's trying to help him when she tells him
It's all in his head
I'm human and i need it
I must have my beliefs
I open myself to the love (yea)
I love you 'cause you showed me
A merciful release
I'm living this time and i know you gave
Me the reason
One reason (to believe), one reason (you're the one)
One reason (to believe), one reason (my baby)
One reason (it's all i need), one reason (to believe)
I bow to the east or i kneel to the west
It's a matter of faith
I'm the only one who has to believe it
One reason (to believe), one reason (you're the one)
One reason (to believe), one reason (my baby)
One reason (it's all i need), one reason (to believe)
I bow to the east or i kneel to the west
It's a matter of faith
I'm the only one who has to believe it
One reason (to believe), one reason (you're the one)

One reason (it's all i need), one reason (to believe)

You Never Listen To Me
You say not now, its too late
Nows not the time, it can wait
You never listen to me
Some things are hard to forget
Its time to do something you might regret
You never listen to me
I think that you must be blind
Havnt you noticed that Im not around
Waisting your precious time
All that I want
Is knowing that someone will notice me
I cant go on
Knowing that you never bother to listen to me
Losing the will to survive
You never act like you know Im alive
You never listen to me
All that I need
Is knowing that someone remembers me
I cant go on
Knowing that you never bother to listen to me

Listen To The Rain
(Rain)
Listen listen
Listen listen
Listen listen
Listen listen
Listen (listen) listen (listen)
Listen (listen) listen (listen)
Listen (listen) listen (listen)
Listen listen
Listen to each drop of rain (listen listen)
Aaah
Whispering secrets in rain (listen listen)
Aaah
Frantically searching for someone to hear
That story be more than it hides
Please don't let go
Can't we stay for a while?
It's just to hard to say goodbye
Listen to the rain
Aa...ah
Listen listen listen listen listen listen to the rain
Weeping
Oo...ooh oooh ooh oo...ooh
Oo...ooh oooh oh oh
Listen (listen) listen (listen)
Listen (listen) listen
I stand alone in the storm (listen listen)
Suddenly sweet words take hold
(Listen listen)
Hurry they stay for you haven't much time
Open your eyes to the love around you
You can feel youre alone
But I'm here still with you
You can do what you dream
Just remember to listen to the rain
oo...ooh oh oh oh oh
ooh ooh oh oh oooh

Just Between You And Me
Just between you and me
By Peter Wolf
Staring at each other with accusing eyes
Keep our voices low you don't act surprised
If the word gets out yeah that's all right
I know your just looking for some sympathy
But listen you don't know how it gets back to me
Your getin' reckless girl
But that's all right
Now don't you know that one cold words gonna' lead to another
Then we'll have nowhere to go
Even if heaven and earth collide tonight
We'll be all alone in a different light
I don't care what the world can see
Its just between you and me
I see telltale signs of a lover declined
She got something' to say
He don't take the time
I don't understand
But that's ok
Now you can turn the page or you can tear me apart
Don't make an open book out of my private heart
You should know better now
That's alright
Don't you know that one cold words gonna' lead to another
Then we'll nowhere to go
Even if heaven and earth collide tonight
We'll be all alone in a different light
I don't care what the word can see
It's just between you and me
It's just between you and me
If we don't work this out we won't recover
We'll lived this out with love for one another
But with all I've heard and all I've seen
I'm still lost in the mystery
Again we're staring at each other with accusing eyes
Keep our voices low don't act surprised
If a word gets out yeah that's all right
And don't you know that one cold words gonna' lead to another
Then we'll have nowhere to go
Even if heaven collide tonight
We'll be all alone in a different light
I don't care what the world can see
Its just between you and me
Even if heaven and earth collide tonight
We'll be all alone in a different light
I don't care what the world can see
Its just between you and me
Its just between you and me
Heaven and earth
I don't understand
All alone
Cold
Cold
Gonna' leave tonight
Heaven and earth
All alone
All alone
All alone
Heaven and earth

The Afflicted
Softly every night they come
To the picture show,
That old couple, deaf and dumb
In the second row;
Wistful watching, hand in hand,
Proud they understand.
Shut-ins from the world away,
All in all to each;
Knowing utter joy as they
Read the lips of speech . . .
Would, I wonder, I be glum
Were I deaf and dumb?
Were I quieted away,
Far from din and shock?
Were I spared the need to say
Silly things in talk?
Utter hush I would not mind . . .
Happy they!--I'm blind.

Words Again
Thoughts can be words, can be flowers that burgeon like words,
Thunders that are right in the middle of happiness,
Ones that make talk with books and with all speaking sense.
The sounds are not anywhere near us,
Yet the word can believe in living free,
Where actions cannot, and nor can thoughts necessarily.
We work on the words of leaders like listening is,
When speech is hazardous and non-wrong,
And liars can speak offensively, like a long long wrong.
Speech is therefore recommended in the form of words,
Of dementia I give word not or word obvious,
But of sound advice for any goodness to come and seize.
Deceased are the word-lovers as much as fences are put up,
As if the sea is given a status that delves too deep
Of words, and it is funny how many words that there are.

What They Were Looking
what they were looking for
are the answers to their questions
the food for their mouths
the progress of their future
a home for their children
a work that pays them well
what they were looking for
is the cure for their sickness
the lame to walk
the blind to see
the deaf to hear again
what they were looking from God
is their own
sometimes they miss what they should
have been looking to find
but God understands and God compromises
He gave the fish and the bread
He made the lame walk, the blind to see, the deaf to hear
and even if they did not ask
God gave them faith, hope and love.

The Loneliness Of The Untiring Writer
with equanimity i write for this audience,
deaf,
blind,
mute,
....imagine some monkeys and rats, and worms and squirrels
mute, blind, deaf,
i have no regret at all,
their hearts are bigger than the islands of paradise,
the mute claps with three hundred hands,
the blind sings with all the angelic voices in tens of hundreds
the deaf dances like some kind of a wiggling worm
vitally replicating its numbers geometrically
there is still this
wanting to be caught by a hungry
black bird
it is the silence of the mute that speaks so loudly
like a speaker of the house,
it is the restlessness of the deaf that shakes me,
and i tremble like a cymbal clanging ceaselessly
the chants of the blind, mystifies me,
scented cinders, lighted candles, fireflies on the trees
conclusion: we have become one happy family
and tonight, i will be writing some more for them
I've got no other valuable audience anyway.
and, let me finally add,
it is only my dead mother who still loves me.

The Universe Ever Evolving Into Violence
There is an ominous death tone
Ringing louder than a telephone
Set on maximum volume
For the near deaf
Or those still listening
From shallow graves.
Ear-piercing shrieks
Emanate from
Afternoon freaks
Gathering beneath rain clouds
To write murderous poetry,
Entangled in new vines
In the jungle of disturbed minds.
I heard mutilated words
Spoken in schizophrenic confusion
While anger flared skyward,
Incandescent heat consuming
Sacred love and harmony;
The last tattered membranes
Of crippled reason
Were disintegrating
Like dried autumn leaves
Or an abandoned lover’s needs.
Books were opening
And fluttering around
Like agitated birds,
While trapped ghosts,
Suspended in useless time,
Were frantically
Searching for holes
In the universe
Ever evolving into violence.

Pass the Crack
What can be said to those who are 'not'
Deaf, dumb or blind?
It seems as though they have been processed,
On an assembly line.
And mass produced to only receive deceptions.
With defections approved and encouraged.
What can be said to those who are 'not'
Deaf, dumb or blind?
When even blatant hand signs,
Can not stop them from their desires...
Of the experience of getting hit by a truck!
They've been programmed to accept its coming.
Much like their anticipation as they wait...
For truth to tumble from the lips of politicians.
They become ecstatic with hope,
By the words spoken by freshly minted visionaries!
What can be said to those who are 'not'
Deaf, dumb or blind?
'Pass the crack.
And if you want more...
Get back in line! '

The Implausible
The Silence Rings so load
Only the Deaf Could Listen
A sweet voice from the dumb
Wow! The Cripples dancing in Steps
The blind filming the show
Still, The Noise can't defeat the Silence
Melody in the Noise not concede
Only the Deaf could enjoy it
Cripples hunting Great Aromas of the Silence
Blind can't cope with darkness
And the silence was touched,
No one could bear the Disaster
Smiles on the face of the Noise
The Dumb Singing of help
The blind ready to correct the mistakes
On the top of all, the Noise Stand,
So hard to dance but no option
Tears on the face of the deaf
Sympathizing the agony of silence.
From the sofa, The blind watched

Angels Are Alive
Angels stun us when alive,
The wings of death and life collide.
This day bespoke wonders for the speakers,
They were men so solid and hearty.
This day is a night to remember, so black,
Yet what do places bring except the speech.
Angelic help is not present, like the corners of bodies,
They are men who watch and listen
Like the sun has gleamed in the day.
My apostles shall gain an evil life
If they shun from the angels,
But our books stay, just like God.

Or, Is It?
it's easy...
to say a lot of nothing
with a lot of words!
easy to preach by day
and whore by night.
easy to have a lot of answers,
when you dont even
know the questions...
easy to say:
'i'd never do that...'
it's a lot harder
to speak the truth
in a few simple words.
harder to admit your mistakes,
and be honest about yourself.
harder to listen for the questions,
knowing that often listening
is the best answer.
harder to admit:
'i've been there before...'
or, is it?

Those who left remain here quietly.
Politicians who gave false promises,
And the deaf, dumb, blind and cripple who lived peacefully?
Even though the teacher, preacher, black-marketed, singer, musician.
And all are listening to the living fools.

Looking for your kiss
Looking for your kiss,
Not finding it for now,
Searching for your lips,
Still listening to your words,
Your telling me you want me,
You speak of what could be,
But I'm looking for your kiss,
To tell you how I feel,
To put in my passion and joy,
You feel for as I feel for you,
So I'm looking for your kiss,
Searching for your lips,
Looking forward to somethng new,
Searching for your lips,
Listening to your words,
I'm waiting for your kiss.

Are You Listening
Are you listening to my words
When I say them
Do you hear me when I need you most
Sometimes I feel like you not listening
Are you deaf?
Am i not speaking clear?
If I clear my throat and speak louder
Are you listening to me
Do you hear the words from my mouth
Is my voice to low?
Maybe if I speak louder maybe even scream it
Are you listening
