Tables Turned
A table sits on boards of ice,
The panels are according to the precise.
This room chances us with hatred,
An office we connect to something crowded.
Craft of a space extracts joy and humour,
May we live and work inside our founder.
When do people load the spices?
Offered to some of us are addresses.
The tables lie on thin ice,
Where may we fetch our advice?

Crowded Room
Across a crowded room
I first set eyes on you
My vision was impaired
Obstructed out of view
By those - faces in a crowded room
Them - bodies in a crowded room
Their - breathing in a crowded room
And their - pushing me out
Down the fire escape
In the crowded room I wont touch too much
I felt the punch of a punch
The language was enough
To send me running etc.

Lucky Me
(toby keith/ron reynolds)
I can leave my dirty laundry lyin anywhere
If I dont make my bed its alright, no one ever goes in there
I can fall asleep on the couch and leave the tv on
cause Ive got the whole place to myself
Now that all her things are gone
Lucky me, Ive got room to breathe
With her out of my way, Im not crowded anymore
And finally, Ive got all the space I need to walk the floor
Lucky me
Now Ive got last weeks dishes still piled up in the sink
And lots of time here on my hands to sit around and think
Im better off in this house alone, its a blessing in disguise
And her leavin came along, I know
Right at the perfect time
Lucky me, Ive got room to breathe
With her out of my way, Im not crowded anymore
And finally, Ive got all the space I need to walk the floor
Lucky me
That sure was a close call, someone could have been hurt
Yeah, she could be missin me but thats not what Ive heard and
Lucky me, Ive got room to breathe
With her out of my way, Im not crowded anymore
And finally, Ive got all the space I need to walk the floor
Lucky me
Lucky me, Ive got all the space I need
Lucky me, Ive got room to breathe
Lucky me

Getting Mighty Crowded
Im packing up my memories
And Im gonna move all out of your heart
Im turning in my keys
And Im gonna move all out of your heart
cause there aint room enough for two
In dreams that were made for me and you
Im telling you, its getting mighty crowded
Too crowded for me
Its getting mighty crowded
Im gonna take these things of mine
And Im gonna move all out of your life
Stop wasting my time
And Im gonna move all out of your life
cause there aint room enough for three
In dreams that were made for you and me
So you see, its getting mighty crowded
Too crowded for me
Its getting mighty crowded
Im saving you the trouble of putting me down
Starting on the double, yeah yeah
Im gonna shop around
Im gonna find another heart
Where I can live all by myself
Gonna find another heart
I dont have to share with anybody else
cause you dont treat me like you should
And hanging around this neighborhood is no good
Its getting mighty crowded
Too crowded for me, getting mighty crowded
Im packing up my memories, getting mighty crowded
Too crowded for me, getting mighty crowded
Too crowded for me, getting mighty crowded

Crowded
Crowded
Spirits walking on the roofs
no fear to fall or slide
no spirit of the dead
that did ever die
it's really crowded in the sky
and crowded in the streets
spouses and sprouts in all houses
crowded in my head am I
crowded in the underground
crowded in my ears
look what i have found;
my face crowded in tears.

Slow Chemical
The wonder of the world is gone and old for sure
All the wonder that I would have found in her
As a hole becomes another strike to burn
An old flame returns
Every intuition fails to find it's way
One more table turned around I'm back again
Finding I'm a lost and found when she's not around
When she's not around I feel it coming down
Get me what I could never ask for
Connect me and you could be my chemical NOW
Give me the drug you know I'm after
Connect me and you could be my chemical
When everybody wants (the chemical of) your soul
When everybody wants (the chemical of) your soul
Slow and
Everybody wants you
So
Slow and
Everybody wants your soul
Give me what I could never ask for
connect me and you could be my chemical NOW
Give me the drug you know I'm after
Connect me and you could be the chemical
You could be the chemical
You could be the chemical
You could be the chemical
You could be the chemical

A Tale Of New Year
The table sits in darkened room
Its fare all spent its contents strewn
All use now ended, empty shell
A place where only thoughts now dwell
For this is last years empty table
Feasted on by all those able
Some who sat and joined the fest
Have left our mortal life to rest
Friends anew have stepped on board
As life continues rest assured
For in the light of room next door
The circle starts again once more
A brand new table full to flowing
What it holds not ours for knowing
Be sure this though safe from fear
To take your place for this New Year
Amongst the newly laid out feast
When hope and faith are all increased
Savour what this new year brings
As midnight bells chime 12 strong rings.

It Won't End
All this space really don't give me no room
'Cause my mind is crowded with these lonely thought
And it all has to do with you
Now I have been here and I've been there
Even told my friends I didn't care
'Cause when it all hit me that you would never forgive me
Now

Space Between
You cannot quit me so quickly
Is no hope in you for me
No corner you could squeeze me
But Ive got all the time for you love
The space between
The tears we cry is the laughter that keeps us coming back for more
The space between
The wicked lies we tell to keep us safe from the pain
Will I hold you again
These fickle fuddled words confuse me
Like will it rain today
We waste the hours with talking talking
These twisted games were playing
Were strange allies
With warring hearts
What a wild eyed beast you be
The space between
The wicked lies we tell that hope to keep us safe from the pain
Look at us spinning out in the madness of a rollercoaster
You know you went off like the devil in the church
In the middle of a crowded room
All we can do my love
Is hope we dont take this ship down
The space between
Where you smile and hide
Thats where youll find me if I get to go
The space between
The bullets in our fire fight
Is where Ill be hiding waiting for you
The rain that falls
Splashed in your heart
Ran like sadness down the window into your room
The space between
Our wicked lies is
The hope to keep safe from pain
Take my hand
Cause were walking out of here
Right out of here
Is all we need dear
The space between
Whats wrong and right
Is where youll find me hiding
Waiting for you
The space between
Your heart and mind
Is the space well fill with time
The space between
The tears we cry is the laughter keeps us coming back for more
The space between
Our wicked lies where we hope to keep safe from pain

Oh Sailor
I'm undecided about you again
I can be right that you're not here
It's double sided 'cause I ruined it all
But also saved myself
by never believing you dear
Everything good I deem too good to be true
Everything else is just a bore
Everything I have to look forward to
Has a pretty painful and very imposing before
Oh sailor why'd you do it
What'd you do that for
Saying there's nothing to it
Then lettin' it go by the boards*
Oh sailor why'd you do it
What'd you do that for
Saying there's nothing to it
Then lettin' it go by the boards
I have too been playing with fifty-two cards
Just 'cause I play so far from my vest
Whatever I've got, I've got no reason to guard
What could I do but spend my best
Oh sailor why'd you do it
What'd you do that for
Saying there's nothing to it
Then lettin' it go by the boards
Oh sailor why'd you do it
What'd you do that for
Saying there's nothing to it
Then lettin' it go by the boards
And after waiting, fighting patiently on my knees
All the other stuff tired itself out first, not me
And in it's way your pierce of touch** and call of the different breed
One of the steps is getting me wired and got me there and then got me
And what a thing to know what could be instead
Oh what a blessed curse to see
Took the agenda from the place in my bed
Made a merry paramour of me
Oh sailor why'd you do it
What'd you do that for
Saying there's nothing to it
Then lettin' it go by the boards
Oh sailor why'd you do it
What'd you do that for
Saying there's nothing to it
Then lettin' it go by the boards

The Old Man
He sits quietly murmuring
Talking only to himself
His eyes sunken and dark
A look of tiredness across his face
His head is slightly bowed
Resting upon his hand
He sits alone in almost darkness
Except for a small table lamp
In the far corner of the room
There is little in the way of light
Old books gather dust
In piles around upon the floor
Those stories he once read
The worlds to which he escaped
Now stacked without order
Like memories becoming forgot
A glass of vintage wine
Held in his thin, bone like fingers
Softens his pallet, soothes his throat
While he sits alone each night
In quiet conversation with himself
Another old man growing grey
Wishing on yesterdays

Luck In Space
It was pure luck of survival, before the event,
The whole journey was plenty of protein;
A few wanted a launch into space, an universe
Of authority that terribly spoke to the sun.
Stars followed and pattered due to light,
Smart accusations to aliens were made.
A deadly slow space-craft was the effect,
Helmets were worn to save a crew of special captains.
Then survival became essential, like the fog,
It crept and dismayed me as a work of craft;
The vessels of space supplied me with fortune,
My fuel for the fire became the sun and stars.
So much the better. The astronauts were readier,
Without their cricket and gold on Earth.
A few hours in space meant a century,
For time became slow for some reason.
The dead spacemen had to be found for they lived
Among the stars for all eternity.

Dark Blue By Jack Mannequinn
I have, I have you breathing down my neck, breathing down my neck
I don't, don't know what you could possibly expect under this condition so
I'll wait, I'll wait for the ambulance to come, ambulance to come
Pick us up off the floor what did you possibily expect under this condition so
Slow down, this nights a perfect shade of
Dark blue, dark blue
Have you ever been alone in a crowded room while I'm here with you
I said the world could be burning and burning down
Dark blue, dark blue
Have you ever been alone in a crowded room while I'm here with you
I said the world could be burning 'til there's nothing but dark blue
Just dark blue
And this flood, this flood is slowly rising up, swallowing the ground
Beneath, my feet. Tell me how anybody thinks under this condition so
I'll swim, I'll swim as the water rises up sun is sinking down and now
All I can see are the planets in a row suggesting it's best that I
Slow down this nights a perfect shade of
Dark blue, dark blue
Have you ever been alone in a crowded room while I'm here with you
I said the world could be burning and burning down
Dark blue, dark blue
Have you ever been alone in a crowded room while I'm here with you
I said the world could be burning dark blue
We were boxing, we were boxing the stars
We were boxing (we were boxing) you were swinging from Mars
And then the water reached the west coast
And took the power lines, the power lines
And it was me and you and the whole town underwater
There was nothing we could do
It was dark blue
Dark blue, dark blue
Have you ever been alone in a crowded room while I'm here with you
I said the world could be burning and burning down
Dark blue, dark blue
Have you ever been alone in a crowded room while I'm here with you
I said the world could be burning now there's nothing but dark blue
If you've ever been alone you'll know dark blue
If you've ever been alone you'll know, you'll know

Repast Celebrators
Every opportunity
Had been extended to them.
To connect, heal and mend their ways.
But this was not done.
And one by one...
To those gone,
Those chances did not come.
And one by one...
Those repast celebrators,
Came to visit!
As if to be treated...
By the sight of someone's grief.
Drink and eat and then they leave!
And these celebrations,
Are expected!
And not unpleasant scenes at all!
It is the only way large families can unite.
To see who they had missed...
And wished the passing of time,
Would stop...
To find each one is loved!
To find there is no spite that has been gossiped.
Inspite any distance...
That keeps them with indifferences believed.

More Than Just Exposure
More than just exposure.
My needs are to connect.
There is no flattery blinding me.
My mission is totally circumspect.
Prudent are my movements.
Precise are the intentions meant.
Forward is my pace.
Whatever it takes...
To replace the commonness,
Of accepted waste.
More than just exposure.
My needs are to connect.
There is no flattery blinding me.
My mission is totally circumspect.
Totally I choose to remain focused,
On what it is I must do next.
To afford that progress.
No matter the difficulty of those steps.
One affected with a purpose,
Is challenged by obstacles...
That allows little time,
Found to rest and reflect.

Searching For Truth
Many men venture up into space, searching for that time and place,
Just where this earth had its start, while guided by wayward hearts.
They circle way above this world, looking for grand news to herald,
News that they can be assured, the earth started without The Lord.
The Lord above, they simply mock, as to the craft above they dock,
Suspended high above the earth, filled with a vain and empty mirth.
All the time they simply speculate, of man’s beginning and his fate.
But God is not mocked my friend, as they will all see come the end.
Men continue to blindly say, all came from the big bang in one day.
A foolish theory men do embrace, so they can worship outer space.
At times I wonder, how can it be, in that vastness they can not see,
That everything their eyes can see, was created by God of Eternity.
Although they suppress The Truth, they all shall be without excuse,
Because the vastness of creation, confirms all of God’s Revelation.
Above the circle of our little earth, sits The Creator of our universe.
As Creator, only He holds the key, to every man’s eternal destiny.
Their search for truth is misplaced, ignoring God’s awesome Grace,
Men need to look to The Creator, accepting Jesus Christ as Savior.
Then He who sits above the earth, will grant these men a new birth,
And they will receive eyes to see, that space is a curtain to Eternity.

Old grey eyes
Old grey eyes
~
He sits alone in the bar
Slumped into his chair
Looking down onto the table
Turning the glass in his hand
Occasionally, looking up
He surveys the room quietly
His brow furrowed
Eyes deep cast look tired
The is an air of sadness about him
That no-one seems to know
He is just old grey eyes
The man who sits in a bar alone
Looking down at his drink
Almost mouthing words
In conversation with himself
He is sensibly dressed
With old tatty shoes
He picks through his change
Counting out another drink
He will be there for a while longer
And then when he has gone
Who will say ‘old grey eyes’
‘Do you remember him’
