Crowded Room
i thought i saw your face in a crowded room
i turned to look, but you disappeared too soon
the vision of you stayed in my mind
as i felt my heart start to sink
my mind began to race faster
as it tried to think.
i thought of all the things we
had done in the past
and wondered why it did not last.

Lucky Me

I can leave my dirty laundry lyin anywhere
If I dont make my bed its alright, no one ever goes in there

Inside A Crowded Room
inside a crowded room
are litters
waste papers, mongol pencils
on the floor,
crumpled sheets of bond paper
paper glasses, and used plastic spoons
a chicken bone
dried catchup and
morsels of bread that the ants
start to take away
light has entered the slits
of the walls
this early morning
it is humid and dark
and i am bringing this white
porcelain vase
put it some water
not filling it to the brim
i have this red rose
that i pick from the garden

Crowded With Lies
Why are some stunned by truth?
It is not something taught,
One gets accustomed to.
Billions are spent to fantasize.
There is no room for truth,
In a mind crowded with lies.
A progressive mindset,
Has been stunted because of this.
Dismissed are those who wish for reality.
And often they are labelled mavericks.
Or something less flattering,
To ensure their influence has no chance to exist.
Why are some stunned by truth?
It is not something taught,
One gets accustomed to.
Billions are spent to fantasize.
There is no room for truth,
In a mind bombarded and crowded with lies.
And yet those disillusioned,
Pray on Sunday...
To have their lives fixed.
While listening to sermons,
As to how sins and evil have them bewitched.
Their very lives lived are confused in conflicts.
Although truth for many has become feared,
And resisted.
Observed they are...
Bewildered, bothered and betwixted.
Why are some stunned by truth?
It is not something taught,
One gets accustomed to.
Billions are spent to fantasize.
And there is no room for truth,
In a mind bombarded and crowded with lies.
And the marketing of fresh lies...
Is a mainstay in most societies,
That has thrived and survived successfully!
But a continuation of a success like this,
Does not sustain its permanence.
Eventually a strain draining the brain prevents it.
People everywhere and everyday,
Reflect their lack of consciousness.
And revealing a 'craze' that has become accepted.

The Little Boy In My Hometown
a little boy
finds the house too crowded
his father beats his
mother in the kitchen
where fish is
grilled
his sisters pull each
other's hair
in the living room
where he wants
to read
his brother breaks the
chair and throws plates
over the window
when no money is
given
it is like the house
is always on fire
and there is not even
a pail of water
and so the little boy
wants to run away
but there is no other
place
as the town is also
too crowded for itself
people are shouting
and beating each other
the park is neither
a peaceful place to
stay as bullies too
overcrowd there
and so the little boy
climbs a tree and
finally
finds a very cool place

Loneliness
We all feel loneliness in different ways
we could be in a crowded room
with a lot of people chatting there.
On a crowded bus journey
with voices speaking all around,
loneliness can strike anywhere. T
he feeling of being isolated
in whatever that you do.
Your hearts feels so empty,
the world is full of rain
and you wonder if you will ever be happy again.
You feel trapped in a little world of your own.
Isolation gnaws at you for all around
there is no one to talk to
and loneliness creeps into every fibre of your soul.
You want to break free of the chains,
stand up and set yourself free,
but your self-esteem stands in the way.
So you shrink down in your incarceration
and in there you stay
when loneliness takes a grip of you.
