Golden Statues
We strike the hearts of golden statues,
Inside them we find and describe the futility.
This innocent man who beautified the world
Has created his own house where no statues exist.
Open these writings with the key of success
So that reading and writing beleaguers the olden men.
Internal strife stagnates the soul’s journey,
But where is the pain so descriptive?
Disrupt nobody in this nation of brilliance,
Offend nobody, nobody must be destroyed
But the statues of great art, the living stones?
No! - They reside in the crevices of flames
And so smoke and ash leap into the sky.
Inculcate these beliefs in the heart
And the head shall follow with similar faith.

There are even more statues of Robert Burns than of any other figure in world literature. Indeed if we discount figures of religion, then only Christopher Columbus has more statues than he worldwide.

Statues Of Sages
Some statues of sages are requested
For the staying is theirs.
Caught by the realm, we provide a problem
For the stationary sort of creatures.
Sages command me further than me,
They write according to paintings,
Their amusements reveal us as we speak.
Understand the men who accomplish
And their survival is needed by the few.
Reading books of authority
We as statues are also sages.

In My Time
In my mind
The golden silver statues turn to tin
And I find
Confidence is just a place Ive been
In my mind
I was kind
When poppas begging friendship came to me
I was blind
To think it would be easy to be free
In my time
Ive not lied
I tried to save the pride I hold within
When I denied
Happiness is just a room Im in
In my time
In my mind
The golden silver statues turn to tin
And I find
Happiness is just a place Ive been
In my time

The Statue Maker
The death angels came to take a soul,
But the whole game appeared to be foul.
Thirteen alike persons standing in queue,
The real one they wanted, there’s no clue.
Angels confused, whose soul they’ll take;
‘God’ will never forgive, if they mistake.
In fact, the skilled and clever statue maker,
Could carve one’s sculpture, truly similar.
The carver was very confident of his art;
‘Why should not use it for me’, he thought.
He had made twelve statues alike to him,
Virtually, he put his soul, in making them.
Statues were so perfect, looked like alive;
Though breathless but none could realise.
When came to take his soul, angels of death;
He stood amongst those, stopping his breath.
Angels couldn’t identify him; returned in vain.
Reaching the god, full story they explained.
‘Single such person made, records ascertain’,
The angry ‘God’ told, and sent them again.
This time the angels came, a plan prepared;
Watching statues carefully, they murmured-
‘Wav! an excellent work, but done a mistake! ’
Listening such comment, he shook like quake
Stunned statue maker, immediately did react
And surprisingly yelled! , ‘where is the mistake? ’
Where the mistake was, angels understood,
Soul of the great carver, very easily they took.

Golden Words
There is gold where the bronze is consumed
Like the statues we stride on.
Truly the words of a man call him by the neck,
After the phrases are learnt of purity.
Our relaxed fury is upon us, loathing good emotion,
But the statues we become are all still.
Words are all in stillness, suspended and accessed,
In fashion and beauty.

The age of personal statues is gone. No personal statues shall be erected in the city or parks of Chandigarh. The city is planned to breathe the new sublimated spirit of art. Commemoration of persons shall be confined to suitably placed bronze plaques.

I looked at some of the statues of Jesus; they were just stones with no life. When they said that God is three, I was puzzled even more but could not argue. I believed it, simply because I had to have respect for the faith of my parents.

Pigeons
Pigeons land on statues
as though they do not care
about the figure they've landed on.
They only know that where they are
is better than on the ground.
For the sight they see is grander
as they look around.
Statues with the droppings
also do not care.
They stand in silent memory,
usually in a square.
They do not see the droppings.
They're unaffected by the stare
of people unaware
of anything but the pigeoins
that have landed there.

The Night Dance
Strike the gay harp! see the moon is on high,
And, as true to her beam as the tides of the ocean,
Young hearts, when they feel the soft light of her eye,
Obey the mute call, and heave into motion.
Then, sound notes -- the gayest, the lightest,
That ever took wing, when heaven look'd brightest
Again! Again!
Oh! could such heart-stirring music be heard
In that City of Statues described by romancers,
So wakening its spell, even stone would be stirr'd,
And statues themselves all start into dancers!
Why then delay, with such sounds in our ears,
And the flower of Beauty's own garden before us --
While stars overhead leave the song of their spheres,
And, listening to ours, hang wondering o'er us?
Again, that strain! -- to hear it thus sounding
Might set even Death's cold pulses bounding --
Again! Again!
Oh, what delight when the youthful and gay
Each with eye like a sunbeam and foot like a feather,
Thus dance, like the Hours to the music of May,
And mingle sweet song and sunshine together.

Everyday Faces
Everyday faces that say hello
Everyday faces that come and go
Everyday faces that stay the same
Everyday day after day
There was a day
When all everything changed
People all came
Stood in the rain
They ain't got a cent (they not the same)
Policeman walked in
The statues all waiting (???)
They wanted a change
Everyday face
Was a time all we could do was try
Was a time when we could say goodbye
Now you find you never do a thing (the same)
Does today feel the same way
Cos there was a day
When all had been changed
People all came
Danced in the rain
They ain't got a cent
And a policeman walked in
The statues all wait (??)
All the same
Everyday face
There was a day
When everything changed
The people all came
Danced in the rain
They're in pain
A policeman walked in
All the statues are waiting
They wanted a change
From an everyday face
Now you're looking at me
Like I'm so passe
I'm a disgrace
Just an everyday face

Clinton has more important things to worry about. He not only risks being destroyed historically, like Afghanistan's Buddha statues; he also could end up going to jail.

I miss you still... [De dorul tău...]
I miss you still, though time has passed,
But in a way we are in touch,
You rule my soul, as in the past,
When it was loving you so much.
If now you told me just a word
I would be thrilled your voice to hear,
And all the statues in the world
I'd break for loving you, my dear.
And yet in silence I remain...
I tell my heart I miss you so;
But even though I'm torn by pain,
How much I love you, you don't know.

Nobody, I think, ought to read poetry, or look at pictures or statues, who cannot find a great deal more in them than the poet or artist has actually expressed. Their highest merit is suggestiveness.

When the sculptor is dead his statues ask him for a soul.
Principalities, Dominions and Thrones
Cathedral, how many times now
Have your windows been washed
By the tears of lovers, broken by the rack
How many times has the blood of martyrs
Flowed unchecked, across your cracked floors
How many vile plagues seeped in
Through the stained glass eye
Leering upward into the face
Of heaven's disappointment
How many effigies of the saints
Witnessed you turning on your own edicts
When other tides had turned against you
And how many statues were destroyed
In the raging quakes of anger
Inside the hearts of the downtrodden
Your basins overflowed with theft and pillage
Your prisons flowered forth rape and torture
You left the world worse off than it was before
If you should ever fall, tumble down
The earth itself would crack wide open
Down to its very marrow bones of outrage
And finally release all your victims from bondage
Something you would never do for them
In the burning holocaust that was their lives.

Innocent`s Farewell
innocent`s farewell
i`m not dead
you will see me again for so much you loved me
let your innermost peace
i`m going to the world of poetry
where i will be eating poetry, drinking poetry
hate me no more now allow my soul to rest in peace in the world of poetry.
i`m not dead
i`m going to the world of poetry
where love dont exist but only wisdom
where there is no weapon but just pen and paper
where hunger and anger don`t exist but only joy.
i`m not dead
thy shall not cry for that is the waste of tears
i feel no pain anymore but only joy
i have no problems anymore but only progress
i`m not coming backto life
for where i`m death does not exist
i`m not dead but i`m living in the world of poetry
i`m with poets
we don`t get bored we are always writing poems.

Realities
(To the etchings of Norman Lindsay)
Now the statues lean over each to each, and sing,
Gravely in warm plaster turning; the hedges are dark.
The trees come suddenly to flower with moonlight,
The water-gardens to glassy fire, and the night, the night,
Breaks in a rain of stars. O, now the statues wake,
Poise on their leaden stems, and dive into the lake—
And the old Gardener, who has grown old with raking,
Bends by his flickering candle, and hears the noise,
And is nodding his head at a music of copper shaking,
And Mercury whispering to some little graven Boys.
And Venus with Venus is walking in a misty grove,
Their mouths breathless with great lies of Jove,
And the green-silver moon flows quivering down their sides,
Till each is lined in light.
'And this Brass Tower?' she said—
But a stone Faun, clawed to the branches overhead,
Could hold his breath no longer, downward slides,
And crashes in a storm of leaves.—O, look, the lake!
O, the great dolphins from the fountain-rim,
And the rusty Tritons—and O, the branches break—
A flute of ivory shines—it is Apollo come to swim!
Then the skies open with a light from no moon or star,
The dark terraces tremble, melt in a shower of petals;
Flowers turn to faces; faces, like small gold panes,
Are bodied with a mist of limbs—no dark remains,
Nor silence, but there is laughter like bells in air,
A rushing wind of music, torches, dancers everywhere,
And lovers no farther. It is not night nor day,
The world's tissue has utterly crumbled away,
Time is a crusty pond, and that old Mirror, Life,
Has broken, and the ghosts of flesh are stirred
With a new blood, the fluid of eternity,
And mouths that have never spoken, ears that have never heard,
Eyes that have never seen, speak now, and hear, and see.
And I, who have climbed in these unrooted boughs
Behind the world, find substance there and flesh,
Thoughts more infrangible than windy vows,
Love that's more bodily, and kisses longer,
And Cythera lovelier, and the girls of moonlight stronger
Than all earth's ladies, webbed in their bony mesh.
The statues dance, and the old Gardener is asleep,
And golden bodies tread the paths—O, happy shapes,
O, shining ones! Could I for ever keep
Within your radiance, made absolute at last,
No more amongst earth's phantoms to be cast,
No more in the shadowy race of the world exist,
But, born into reality, remember Life
As men see ghosts at midnight—so with me
Might all those aery textures, the world's mist,
Melt into Beauty's actuality!

Good Statues
be born into this world
you too born in this world
drowned into the seas of merry
and also swim to praise he
tomorrow we will be sorry
when we lay firm in the earth belly
alas we will be happy in the space of virtues
but it is meant fo soul with true statues
