At The Time Of Darkness

I am feeling ravenous due to the taste of some food,
Describing is like fortitude, for it is sweet in taste.
My strength arrived at night, for mighty nights are
Strongly out of compulsions, fully grown.
My nightmare ended that very night I was sleeping,
To zigzag across the pillow, and to queerly sigh,
Folding the garments so expensively, reading in the dark.
Civil was the night at the time of darkness,
A presentation I call it, a mild taste so longed for.

They say honey is sweeter than wine;

Many say kiss is sweeter than wine!

Some are fond of sweet taste in all;

Many like hot taste in food we eat ever.

Taste is just a flavour of coffee we take;

Tasteless food nobody likes at first ever;

But food for living life cannot be ignored.

Sugar coated pill makes us take medicine;

Just like that taste makes food delicious!

Taste various from person to person ever;

Hence one man's food is another's poison!

So also taste for poetry, novel and articles

Say about one's mind, heart and soul ever;

Cooking and taste

eating the same tasteless dinner at the only diner
the umpteenth time, a thought came to my mind
am i a guinea pig or one of its kind
or was there a conspiracy behind

has my taste buds gone out of date
why is all so tasteless, that is the food i ate

i dared to ask the manager why the taste is so bad
bang came a caustic reply, this is by the best cook he ever had
(insinuating a problem not with his cook but with my taste)

well then it has to be my taste buds i thought
directing all my efforts to the food i had bought

then came storming, the savior, inside the hall
in his hand was the same food for which i have taken the fall
indignanlty he shouted at the manager
this food is so bad that even his dog had refused to had

hell i thought even the dog has a better taste
why, why am i such a waste
the dog in me forced me to start cooking that very day
the dog in me does sometimes refuses to eat what i cook
the human in me requests him to hav another look

for, when people are struggling for one square meal a day
how can i keep the food i cooked at bay,
hence i eat, taste or no taste, everything i cook, every day.

They killed it.
And ever afterwards
There was something dead inside of her,
A failure of feeling.

She longed for a time
When food would taste again,
The days no longer be joyless, nor the nights interminable.

She longed to escape from this misery,

Dark Love

It is a night of darkness, a song of blood,
wolves vent their pain. The dark one
rises.

Evil shrouds her deathly form,
an eternal wrath.

As Sweet As Honey

Come to the land of beauty to taste my love,
For there is a special creamy milk set for you to taste;
Come to the land of love to taste the true meaning of my love,
For there you will meet the beautiful young ladies!
And the handsome men are there to cheer you up.
This is like a folklore story of love and,
You will love to stay the night in your nakedness;
For te land is full of sweet aroma of words,
And my love is as sweet as honey.
You will be infused with the rivers along the line and,
You will hear the music of love being played daily;
For your health will be taken care with my love.

Exceptional Food

The meal was over as I spoke,
Innards kept the blessing of cooking;
My spoken tongue was inert
As prayers were repeated.
My religion was of fasting
And not cooking or banquets.

It was my religion that mattered,
Like the oval office and similar places
Of comedy, the very seriousness,
The very proud deeds of the soul,
And those that mattered
To the food or taste we take with the day.

Now that dinner was over,
I was over, and this deed was over.
I lifted my fork to speak wonders
That astonished everybody’s taste,
Like the lunch of the noon
And dinner of the light of the night.

The dance began, as we were happy,
To dance was to be finality,
Jostling inwards with exceptional flavour
That was also ingested with the food -
This was food with spiritual music!
Our lives were ending right now.

Then the offer of a peace arrived,
As the music stopped and arrived
Yet halted in its path to see innocence
In the efforts of a speaker
Who intimidated us as we saw him,
The man of exceptional taste, the owner of this place.

Such deeds he spoke and such plates he gave,
Dishes supported his biggest way of talking,
Conversations surrounded his meaning,
So the party was special like the breeze,
The breeze of words that we felt on our cheeks,
As our ears were pricked with awe.

“This is the day we dine and the night we clasp,
Finding no sacred other place than this grand mansion.”
This he spoke to us with meaning,
And he wanted to see what we enjoyed
And some of us wanted more noise,
So the music began after the speech.

This night was extraordinary for the talents,
The food inspired me as I floated,
This morbid thought arrived afterwards -
What if the night should end
And leave us forever in the night?
Then there would be no merriment or taste.

I laughed as we sat in the carriage
That came by to pick us up;
We were rich, as a rich couple,
As a wealthy lad and lass,
Like the fountains of stupid colours
And fragrances, so bitter yet elegant.

I was thankful the night finished
With dignified manners and perfect noise,
Songs could never bring more joy
Than this enjoyment we experienced,
The joy of musical words,
The joys of a beautiful party.
