Oh! Man Mend The Ways Old
I once in a dream flew into the world of future,
On the wings of fear, with the heart of agony,
And landed into a burnt zone,
Remotely resembled the world of man,
All wrapped in grimness of smoke.
I beheld men and women:
The remains of nations in rags,
All grubby with harrowed faces,
Impressionless eyes they had in the sockets.
They were at war against one another,
Not for high objectives nor to subjugate the Earth,
But for water, food and zones of fresh air.
They all carried the charred clubs,
Or the sable stones in their hands,
When they were at rest they shivered with cold,
Oh! Man mend the ways old.

Impacts of Horror
After the uproarious tiring activity of the day,
I rested my exhausted head upon the pillow,
And for a while shut up the lids of my eyes,
So that I could peep into my inner self,
To evaluate the endeavour I performed,
From dawn to dusk setting aside,
The principal task: to devote my existence,
For the fellow beings, to remove their pains.
A faint drowsiness occupied my mind,
That began to oscillate making me forgetful,
Of the conscious world of man that began to appear,
No more than a shadow of a dream.
A carriage I beheld advancing towards me,
Approached gliding as if it was weightless,
The coachman though was not human,
Yet had mild countenance, with snow-white,
Beard and brows; his hair flowed down,
Fell upon his shoulders with tight folded wings.
He signaled me to have a ride in the chariot,
And I settled in the cushioned seat,
And it began to advance with moderate move,
The scenes that I might faintly recollect,
Began to move behind.
We headed with no jerk or jolt,
Very close to the surface of the land,
And no conversation took place between,
At a certain spot the chariot rested,
And I found upon a murky ground,
Many children sitting very close,
The distant seemed like dots,
They were silent with harrowed pale faces,
And some half naked shivering with chill,
Their eyes were impressionless like a burnt piece of the mirror.
Then again the journey commenced,
This time a little faster than before,
I got grim glance of a serpentine river,
That mingled somewhere into the remote sea,
After passing over the fire gurgling mountains,
Again the chariot rested upon the ground,
And this time I beheld the collection of young men,
All in twenties or thirties they were,
Their faces were harrowed pale and eyes impressionless too,
And some of them had scars if they had fought,
Some extended war on the far flung domain,
For their structures carried the weight of exhaustion.
Then the third phase of the journey began,
Again a curvaceous river we had to cross,
Over the burning hills and forest we passed,
I smelt the stench and smoke entered though my nostrils,
Blazing air touched the flesh of my body,
It was almost the time of sunset when we landed,
In front of a dark cave in the basement of a mound,
The coachman again signaled which meant, “Come down”,
And gestured to have a glance of the inner part of the fissure,
I saw nothing except incense serpents and scorpions,
The serpent moved with the lashing tails,
And the scorpion with their stiff curved stings;
And for the first time the winged coachman spoke,
“God does not inflict unjust inflictions,
These are your doings, now taste the produce.”
When I came out of the mystical world,
The impacts of horror were upon my forehead.

Broken wings of Angels
angels came form a distance time, a time within a
moment of eternity, where even the light rays and
a millions time of infinity could only smell the
shadow of its existence
expose my soul to the profane world and judge me in
my powerless strength to my weakness, an offshoot
of my being human in this changing world
mingle my day to a life time, where I know my
eyes is close who wouldn't only witness the existed and
exploited world who has now have eaten and come
to conquer the weaknesses of every flesh
exploit my hunger, my thirst of adolescent, my
untainted mind to the world of unworthy pleasure, my
young dream of the future, my ambition to my ideal
world to come, my promises of what I am of this
life I always cherish
this moment of pleading wouldn't only reach your heart
and calls your soul to shield my destiny to take with me
the yoke that leads me to a dream where I may stay
may the wings I shattered be resembled in the wind you
touch and take my broken wings to fly in your heart,
that blew my feather to the nesting rest of breath be in
the glory of my soul

The Sabbath Stones
Fire and water, wind and rain
Wings that carry hell in every vein
World possessions, endless taers
Truth and knowledge stolen all their years
World turns slowly, sun dont shine
Silence stills the air and kills the chime
Words are poison, passion bleeds
2000 years on earth has sown the seeds
The time of dreams has turned
The night is gone and light shines on
Where darkness once would hide
With spirits high, our fears were born
Receiver of light, the kingdom of God will guide you
Keep you from a restless heart
Deceiver of night, the stranger that laughs
Within you, the reason for the restless heart
Is the keeper of the sabbath stones
Fire and water, wind and rain
Wings that carry hell in every vein
World turns slowly, sun dont shine
Silence stills the air and kills the chime
Can faith destroy desire? each breath a prayer
Each step brings fear
The eyes of they that see have evil stare
Watch over me
Receiver of light, the kingdom of God will guide you
Keep you from a restless heart
Deceiver of night, the stranger that laughs
Within you, the reason for the restless heart
Is the keeper of the sabbath stones
And hes the keeper of the sabbath stones
What God is this that stands to hear his people cry?
What hand would strike and watch his people die?
What life that takes, what future did we earn?
Its our mistakes, take heed the sabbath stones
What life that takes what future did we earn?
Its our mistakes

Rags & Old Iron
Norman curtis, oscar brown jr
Rags old iron rags old iron
All he was buying was just rags and old iron
I heard that old rag man now making his rounds
He came right to my alley lord with sorrowful sounds
Crying rags old iron and pulling his cart
Ask him how much hed give me for my broken heart
Rags old iron rags old iron
All he was buying was just rags and old iron
So I asked that old rag man how much he would pay
For a heart that was broken baby when you went away
For a burnt out old love light that no longer beams
And a couple of slightly used second hand dreams
Rags old iron rags old iron
All he was buying was just rags and old iron
For those big empty promises you used to make
For those memories of you that are no longer sweet
I wish he could haul them off down the street
Rags old iron rags old iron
All he was buying was just rags and old iron
When love doesnt last tell me what is it worth
It was once mamas most precious possession on earth
When I asked that old rag man if hed like to buy
He just shook his head and continued to cry
Rags old iron rags old iron
All he was buying was just rags and old iron
Rags old iron rags old iron
Rags old iron rags old iron rags old iron

The Sun Bird
The sun bird flew high and high
for its destination was sun
but as it drew near its wings did burn
from the heat of the sun but it did not die
it fell down on the earth
and waited till its wings took rebirth
it again flew only to burn its wings and fall
towards the earth but its hope stood atall
for mythology says its divine love for sun
has given it power not to die from burn
so with patience infinite again it flew
with hopes full and wings anew
towards the sun only to burn
but it got up again and flew
towards the sun
towards its destination

In The Wake Of Poseidon
Platos spawn cold ivyed eyes
Snare truth in bone and globe.
Harlequins coin pointless games
Sneer jokes in parrots robe.
Two women weep, dame scarlet screen
Sheds sudden theatre rain,
Whilst dark in dream the midnight queen
Knows every human pain.
In air, fire, earth and water
World on the scales.
Air, fire, earth and water
Balance of change
World on the scales
On the scales.
Bishops kings spin judgements blade
Scratch faith on nameless graves.
Harvest hags hoard ash and sand
Rack rope and chain for slaves
Who fireside fear fermented words
Then rear to spoil the feast;
Whilst in the aisle the mad man smiles
To him it matters least.
Heroes hands drain stones for blood
To whet the scaling knife.
Magi blind with visions light
Net death in dread of life.
Their children kneel in jesus till
They learn the price of nail;
Whilst all around our mother earth
Waits balanced on the scales.

The nagging women of the world
Nag, Nag, Nag
They nag about the money
They nag about sex
They nag about it all
From simple to complex
The nagging women of the world!
Before the plane takes off
They nag about jetlag
Suggesting the holiday
Will only be a drag
They nag about the food
Whether it is bad or good
They nag about fingernails
And overcrowded jails
They nag about the music
Without comprehending the lyrics
They nag about people dressed in rags
And chosen colours of a country's flag
The nagging women of the world!
They nag about cleanliness
Forgetting the word gentleness
They nag at you if you snore
Or if they think you are a bore
They nag at you if you are late
Refusing you food on the plate
They nag about the polluted air
As if they really care
I shall never understand
Those men called husbands
That put up with these women
The nagging women of the world!

Friends of stones
It is not a paradise
although the sing of birds
It is not the Hell
although the song of birds
although the sound of waves
it is only our world
with many songs in the sky
with many birds in the dream
with many birds in really
It ‘s here that we are living
we are little, very little
we are old, very old
we are wandering,
wandering and loving
this space
we are also
friends of stones
friends of rocks
Fear is with us
But what fear?
A fear sweet
A fear black
or another fear?
Where is the fire of the fear?
Where is the fear of the fear?
Into our World
in a deep of monster
nobody know this
in this world of the words
in this words of the world
but what fear screechs
here and now
without your hands
of red sun?

Sonnet: Misuse of Power
Oh, how power is misused in this world!
To subjugate the weaker-willed of men;
How power corrupts most men manifold!
Making men slaves; gain wealth, subdue the pen.
Power suppresses the poorer nations,
Kicking them off the arms-race forever;
Power wins all wars and decrees sanctions,
Steals money/ land/ food in ways cleverer
Power can win the hearts of beauteous dames,
By threatening punishment in dire ways;
Separating friends/it can win most games,
And bring wars to end within fewer days
Power rules, yet misrules men in this world,
And can bring anyone into its fold.

Yes I Believe
The spirit of Christmas is the spirit of love
Still there when the innocence has gone
But we have each other we laugh and we cry
The cares of the world still carry on
Yes I believe in a better world
And like the rest of us I pray
For peace on this earth and a better life
With every beautiful day
I once met a holy man who showed me the way
The road to tranquility at last
The more he was listening, the more he would say
With the tales of the days of future passed
He said "Yes I believe in a better world
And like the rest of us I try
To hold on to hope for a better life
With every day that goes by"
And if we dare to dream of Paradise unseen
It might come true
And if you stand by me
I swear with all my heart
I'll stand by you
Yes, I believe in a better world
A world where my sisters can be free
And I have a place in my brother's heart
For everybody to see
I dream of my destiny, my days in the sun
To live in the garden of our love
I search for some happiness
I search for my soul
I pray for some strength from God above
Yes, I believe in a better world
And like the rest of us, I pray
For peace on this earth and a better life
With every beautiful day
With every beautiful day.

The Shadow of Extinction
Numerous hawks, hapless and helpless
Are sitting downcast on the ground
Amid the dry leafless forest,
Discarding the high zone of their flight.
Their eyes are impressionless,
Wings clipped and tails curtailed,
Their claws: the hunting instruments
Cramped and contracted inward.
They are drowsing and nodding,
In a state of oblivion,
As forgetfulness to the ancient history.
Around them is a conflagration
Engulfing the woods,
The agent of autumnal wind assists the blaze,
The circle is belittling at each moment;
But the hawks with the wings clipped
Tails curtailed, contracted claws
Drowsing eyes, nodding heads,
Are waiting for the encroaching doom,
Beneath the murkiness of smoke:
Stretching over the shadow of extinction,
And far above hover the bats and owls,
Challenging the hawks.

Gone Too Far
Kelly stands by the water
With a gun in her hand
She won't believe in the future
In a world made by man
There's nowhere to run
Nowhere to hide
With so much to say and no time
Have we gone too far?
In a world so scarred
Have we gone too far?
Dream away
Joseph stands in the desert
With a gun in his hand
Brother still killing brother
Cold within this eastern land
There's nowhere to run
There's nowhere to hide
With so much to do and no time
Have we gone too far?
In a world so scarred
Have we gone too far?
Dream away
Gone too far
In a world so scarred
Have we gone too far?
Dream away
There must be some other way
A hundred years from green to grey
Close my eyes I'm safe today
Blindly fade away
Gone too far
In a world so scarred
Have we gone too far?
Dream away
Dream away

The White Dove
A white dove came to me
The sun was high..
The dove sit upon my swing
The sun was high, ,
As his eyes burnt into my
Soul..
The sun was high..
As he carried me upon his
Wing..
The sun was high..
As we descended into the
Cloud’s..
I seen a shadow as we whisk
Within and above the sky..
The face that linger beyond
The sky..
Gently smile and to just fade
Into the simmering light..
The sun was high..
But, yet the dream felt real
As his eyes burnt within my
Soul..
As the bright light engulfed
me..
A white dove came to me
And the sun was high

Women I
They are like life to human
And they can contain life in them
They can replicate life
and put a smile in someones face
Women! you are amazing!
Like food to souls
And worm to birds
Water to flowers
And glow beyond flowers
Women? you are pillars too every family
Props and posts to all nations
Women? you can give life and take life
Women everywhere life anywhere
Women! you can hide away your sorrows
And make world happy in your worries.
Silence is not always golden
Break away your silence
Women? your troubles are heard by the world
And you strength admired by your virtue.

Your World
The warmest day of all my life
You came to me, I held you in my hands
And something changed forever
I want you for a better time
To know the beauty of our Mother Earth
Cherish her forever
Never felt in such a hurry
So little time, so much to do
I lie awake and dream the dreams I'll share with you
This is your world now
No one can chase all your fears away
This is your world now
Trust in your heart to lead the way
I still recall a day so clear
I saw the future in my mother's eyes
Filled with tears of sorrow
The years roll by, the times do change
The truth around us harder to disguise
As we face tomorrow
So many promises were made me
So little hope remains alive
I only pray the dreams I leave you will survive
This is your world now
No one can chase all your fears away
Fight for your world now
Trust in your heart to find the way
You'll see what I'm saying / When you're on your own
The war that you're facing / Isn't yours alone
I am a man in search of reasons
Though I am still as much to blame
It's up to me to leave you more than just my name
This is your world now
No one can chase all your fears away
Fight for your world now
Trust in your heart to lead the way
This is your world now
I want to chase all your fears away
Fight for your world now
I know that somehow you'll find your way

I Am Sure
Words & music: mike hudson and michael w. smith
Looking at the future
Who can tell you what is going on
It seems we have become the generation
Of wars and bombs
And the heart grows weak
And the fear grows strong
That the day may come and it may not be very long
And you want to run
But you dont know where
So where do you go
I know
And I tell you
Chorus:
I am sure there will be a day
But it will not be like the nations say
The lord will come when this life is through
And his deep desire is to be with you
Hearts will fly when the new world starts
And joy will rise like the morning star
God will meet every cry of the heart
And its my prayer
I want you to be there
I like to think about the new creation
Things that God will do
So every now and then I stop and close my eyes
I enjoy the view
And the heart grows strong
And the fear grows weak
And I cannot wait for the new world to come to me
And while I dream
Oh, I pray for you
cause he wants you to go
I know
And I tell you
Chorus

Let Us Dream Together
Lets us come closer,
And dream together,
Dream of a world,
Which is full of joy,
Dream of a life,
Having no trace of sorrow,
Having abundance of,
Smiling faces,
And cheerful weather,
Lets us come closer,
And dream together,
Of a world where there
Is no trace of fear
Fear of bomb blast,
Fear of abduction,
Fear of a war,
Fear of any disruption
Fear of loosing someone,
Very dear and close to
The heart
Lets us come closer,
And dream together,
Of a toddler and child,
Playing in a garden,
Running after a butterfly,
And her parents while,
Looking at her,
Keep on smiling with amusement,
Their faces not showing any trace of fear.
Lets us come closer,
And dream together,
Of an old grandpa,
Who is not lonely,
Not discarded by his children,
Rather, he is laughing in full pitch,
While recollecting the nuances,
He used to make in his childhood,
And sharing his thoughts,
With his grand children.
Two, three steps ahead before me
wonder i receive the dream that leads me to see the three steps
ahead before my first step landed in the sand, gaze i believe is
a footprint, slowly drifted to each feet passing wave along the
shore
the future never stop, moving forward where the direction of the
sun goes by, and the air that touches every high and low tide, the
heavens breathe moisturizing face of the clouds beneath the
cooling face of the sun
oh! let my foot gallops every feet i step, the endless distance take
me there, and my hands pointed me to reach; a place where my
feet has to take it rest, beautiful land that almost all have gone, so
friendly that every one want have to save, the hands that hold
every other hands to step, each footprint i take and lead me to a
little mark in the dunning sand, gently hold to my foot to the
dream land i want to step
open wide my inner pulse i remembered, the two feet i have, make
it three, sight comes so quickly, like lightning my eye have seen,
the two steps i touch, somebody carried me, and extra footprints
watches me, even angels touches my feet
the future is friendly; lovely to see, though it’s empty, but then full
of memory and easy, just leave it to God....the footprints you'll
see count it three.... two from God and one from the angel....and
sure you'll be carried away
be the first step in going to the Father's home; the very breath
you take, will takes you there and the paradise of today will soon
bring us to the future of no return

It's a World for All
The test of history never rest
A queue of villians give their best.
Coniving, cheating passing threats.
All this for a prize - a world for only one to keep.
If all these ways were ever had.
I fear -
I dreadfully fear what ills there be.
Genocide - an excluded kind.
One supreme tongue.
Greek, Latin even French and German perhaps
But history remains a true defender
.
This world was never made for one.
Cruel intentions must fade
They must learn
It is a world for all
Never a world for one.

On Broken Wings
Little Jeanie Cried, she believed in all his lies
so much for being good, oh.
Johnny did not rest he did what he thought was best,
he did the best he could.
Don't try to see the world in different ways
Those moments and all those days.
Don't let them faint away.
On Broken Wings
I guess that's how you'll have to fly
two broken hearts
across the sky
Now he's feeling bad
his heart is cold it's o so sad
somehow he did her wrong, yeaheah
Little Jeanie's heart
is melting fast ow so fast.
Now she feels so strong
Don't try to see the world in different ways
Those moments and all those days
Don't let them faint away.
On Broken Wings
I guess that's how you'll have to fly
two broken hearts
across the sky.
Don't try to see the world in different ways
Those moments and all those days
Don't let them faint away.
