The last man I was with helped me feel small
An attempt to make his soul seem tall
At first enthralled
What I found in his arms would make my mother appalled
My love for him filled me with shame
He would not call to hear me say his name
Our Love was his private game
He did not wish to see my face
I was not fit to share his space.
The last man I was with refused to share his light
And made me feel like I was creation's blight
He hid me from his inner world's sight
Too lost to see I was his tool
Never would he consider me a jewel

The food I prepared,
Were my cooking methods impaired?
I could not comprehend

From whence do I draw my power?
The last man I was with shielded all he did
All that he called sacred he carefully hid
He demanded that I obeyed his law
And I started to mistrust what I saw
Never dared to care where I lay my head
What I did to pay for my bread
He passes judgment from above
No empathy, not a dropp of love
He has moved on with nary a sigh
Dismissive. No, not even a proper goodbye.
The last man I was with Insulted my essence
And did not want to publicly share my presence
With me he did not want to be fused
I was just another tool to be used
Harsh words, never rarely kindness
Only in an effort to induce spiritual blindness
To hide his dark intent
Said he loved me
But treated me with contempt
The last man I was with used me and he lied
I love him so, I still wish I were by his side
So much pain, thought my heart would stop beating;
That my lungs would cease breathing.

Willing To Share
Men will not care what you know, if God’s love you don’t show,
Showing His love in all you do, as His Spirit works through you,
While living for God in this life, truly showing the Love of Christ,
Showing others you truly care, by stepping out for Him to share,
This as you share resources with, others through your loving gift.
When the Lord blesses you, you can share that blessing through,
The reaching out to others who, aren’t as blessed as me and you,
Willing for God, to pay the cost, by extending love to others lost,
Knowing Him, Who paid the price, our life too, can be a sacrifice,
Sharing what Christ has given us, shouldn’t become a major fuss.
For all we have, was given by, the One who came, to earth to die,

As we help others in many ways, giving to Him the ultimate praise,

I don't know what to say....
When my old love for you dies a new love blooms. If I loved myself as I love you, a God I would become. When I am lost in the desert of despair, my memory of you is my mirage. A river of sweetness is your tears, their passion is my elixir. If there be no pleasure in our love anymore, than the pain of the pleasure once felt is my consolation. To others peace is the love of solitude, you are the love of my solitude. My heart is lost in thy abyss, and its dark depths I cry. O sweet love O sweet love! My love is in thy sigh. Thy voice brings sweeter messages than the angel Gabriel. If thou chose to hate me, I hate myself the more and thy hate I love, like hate has never been loved before. Underneath the veil of thy shadow my soul does softly glow. On thy skin, my color, does so eloquently express, the universal of love that beats in every poet's chest.
