You Celan
with-soundly overwhelmed by silence
interpretation stuck
breathe in the words like soap bubbles of the measurable
imperfect(ive) ly shaped cracks
should you come to the window the sight closes down
an eye b(lind) eautiful of mine

All In A Day's Work
When I was born
The doctor said
There's something wrong
Inside that baby head
When I was a boy
In Sunday school
I told them all
That they were fools
All in a day's work
To live and breathe
A sight to see
And so it goes
I went into
The fortune teller's
She wouldn't read
My horoscope
I go into
The laundromat
The people all
Buy extra soap
All in a day's work
To live and breathe
A sight to see
All in a day's work
To live and breathe
A sight to see

Words Get Stuck In My Throat
If I had a tiny microphone
Hidden in my heart
It would amplify my love for you
But the words get stuck in my throat
The words get stuck in my throat
If I had a little viewmaster
Stuck inside my brain
It would snap the pictures all of you.
But the words get stuck in my throat
The words get stuck in my throat
If I had a telegraph
Tapping in my brain
It would tap the morse code I love you.
But the words get stuck in my throat
The words get stuck in my throat
Hey, hey, hey
Whatd I say?
Everyday!
The words get stuck in my throat (repeating)

Children With Soap Bubbles
Like smoke the bubbles whirl up
in the wind’s frolicking game
hopping like horses that gallop
and other children have got to look out
or their eyes are going to burn.
Like smoke the bubbles whirl up
against the arms and heads of others
before they heave into the air,
hopping like horses that gallop
with children blowing over a soapy soup
soap-bubble after soap-bubble burst,
like smoke the bubbles whirl up
like balls kicked off by the wind
when mothers scold their dirty children,
hopping like horses that gallop
and later an adult looks after them
to set rules for the game,
like smoke the bubbles whirl up
hopping like horses that gallop.

Stuck
Life gives such a lonely feeling
Do not feel like living it anymore
The soul of mine feels so stuck
Seems like damage to my identity has been done
I feel so bad and confused about so many things
It hurts to be me
Do not want to breathe anymore
Hate, the way I have gotten stuck in a disabled body
Living, is not the thing which I want to do
Stuck, I am stuck.

Imperfectly
Can I help it if Im not neat
If there were creeps before you
How can I help you if I am weak?
If I dont know how to help me
But I love you, I love you
Imperfect, imperfect, imperfectly
I love you imperfect, imperfect, imperfectly
Can I help it if Im high strung
If I was born with a sharp tongue
Will you marry me if I stay sweet?
If I am the one with the cold feet
I love you, I love you
Imperfect, imperfect, imperfectly
I love you imperfect, imperfect imperfectly
I love you imperfect, imperfect, imperfectly
Imperfectly, imperfectly, imperfectly, imperfectly
Imperfectly, imperfectly, imperfectly

When The Lord Closes The Door
(kinky friedman & jeff shelby)
When i find myself alone in my house and in my head
And i blow the candles out and i take myself to bed
And i'm old enough to realize, ah, young enough to know
When the lord closes the door, he opens a little window.
When sleep closes my eyes and sends me searching for you
And i'm feelin' blue as the sky without your love to carry me through
And i'm weak enough to be afraid but strong enough to let it show.
When the lord closes the door, he opens a little window.
Baby i'm a gypsy boy, i'll ride the night until
I come to you like moonlight through your raggle-taggle window sill.
When you find yourself alone in your house and in your head
And you blow the candles out and you take yourself to bed
And you're old enough to realize, ah, young enough to know
When the lord closes the door, he opens a little window.

Radio Adelaide
you'll never see a straight face from me
i've got a problem showing emotion
and sucking up my guts
you'll never get an answer from me
i always keep it stuck in my head
a million words i could have said
you say you're so overwhelmed with me
and it's because of me
don't you say, you know i heard you said you know
don't you say, you know anything about me
don't you say, you know i heard you said you know
don't you say, you know anything about me
i'll never show you my frustrations
are left to guarding me to hold it back
i find it hard to just relax
please disriguard my opinion
i try to only care when i'm asked
it helps to get off my chest
you say you're so overwhelmed with grief
and it's because of me
so,
don't you say, you know i heard you said you know
don't you say, you know anything about me
don't you say, you know i heard you said you know
don't you say, you know anything about me
the point has been right in front of you, in plain view
the past it does not only repeat
it holds you,
i can't
get you the words you say,out of my head
out of my head
don't you say, you know i heard you said you know
don't you say, you know anything about me
don't you say, you know i heard you said you know
don't you say, you know anything about me

I Am Overwhelmed By My Own Voice
I AM OVERWHELMED BY MY OWN VOICE
I am overwhelmed by my own inner voice
The silences of others
Their poetry escapes me.
I hear myself
And can hear
No one else.
Mine is the only Poetry
How Sad and Great is Life
So many voices,
So much silence.

I'm Losing Sleep Again
Sleep soundly, dear
And do not dream
The nightmares I dream
Sleep soundly, dear
And do not cry
When you wake up to reality
Sleep soundly, dear
And do not believe
You have woken up already
Sleep soundly, dear
And do not stop sleepwalking
Take things slow and steady
Sleep soundly, dear
And do not pretend
I'm sleeping soundly, dear friend
Sleep soundly, dear
And do not lament over
Why I’m losing sleep myself
Sleep soundly, dear
And do not leave me
When you wake up to reality

It is a good motive, fame and money, as it is tangible and measurable. Being an artist is neither measurable nor tangible and certainly not a way to become rich.

Illusions Of The Reality Of Grief....
there will be discontents
expected, not at all strange
but to be a casualty of such
lack, what misfortune
can that be,
be simple, take patience
on slow doses
what discontent is there
soon can be
cured
life can be nothing but a sigh
smoke your boring hours
let that white spirit rise
to the chimney and then to the skies
take a deep breathe
ponder, the journey soon shall be over
there will be meetings
of joys and bliss
then you leave all things behind
like the eddies of the dusts in the air
like the bubbles of soap
you think they were all big
ah, they're nothing....

The Case Of The Window Pain
an astute answer
discerning shrewd
would surely mention
this wit must be
personification
of a window pane
as for the window pain
perhaps the window is shamed
perhaps the window is dirty
as for the window pain
perhaps the glass is cracked
small large cracks streaked
as for the window pain
perhaps cricket ball punctured
victim of circle game holed
as for the window pain
perhaps the window is broken
glass shards bear crime witness
as for the window pain
perhaps window frame rots
an old window in house derelict
as for the window pain
perhaps the window witnesses
child abuse domestic scenes violent

For Your Short Life
Bogies
My cat's name
daughter brought
since I was a baby
now bogies always
I welcome
each home from work
fun to watch while my wife
sinetron continued 'Fitr'
the pervasive spirit
new generation of cultural products
soap opera
shallow and tends to
mendangkalkan meaning of life
into the foam soap
falsity bubbles
short life
which is too shallow

Unexpected visitor
From my back window I espy
a stray soap bubble passing by.
From whence it came I do not know
but carried by the winds that blow.
I saw it dancing in the air
a sight which was beyond compare.
I only wish I was as free
as the soap bubble I can see.
The bubble goes where the wind blows
until it bursts I must suppose.
It had no choice when it was blown
but venture into the unknown.
I watched.it ‘til it disappeared
carried by a wind that veered
and took it high into the sky.
It had no time to say goodbye
but I was glad to see it go.
So when it burst I would not know.

Soap
you wish i were true
to every word i wrote in my poems
like sadness
that i must be sad when my poems
talk about sadness
like separation and disgust and pain
that i must suffer
with the poems i write that i must have despair
and pain too
and disgust
for every word of disgust written in every word
in every line
how cruel of you
how cruel of truth
how can i justify my death when i speak only of death
and in the very poem
where i write the word
death
there is soap
there is this box of untruths in pandora and when i open it
they must spread and you may refuse to believe
me again
but it would be very cruel of you
to make these poems
all these poems be my life my only life
and lived
and day by day lived in accordance with the
mouths of these poems
empathy
is the word, it is like i am putting my feet in another person's
shoes
then i write, and i could have written about this word: happiness
joy, bliss
ecstasy, light, and amazing glory
i choose not to,
i think, i have too much of it, and i do not share it for now
there is no necessity
and i cannot really help
with so much loneliness and sadness out there
with them i stretch my hands to hold them and feel them
and they all become
myself. it is not soap then, and there are no bubbles in the skies
there is no child playing amazed by the bubbles that burst and by the
bubbles that
are so abundant.

Your Wish
you wait for my words
My word to you.
But where is you tongue?
Much better than my.
Much wet than me.
I don´t know if it is bellow or a little above.
Maybe, his tongue, moves through a single kiss.
Or maybe, throught silence words.
A breathe.
But its so good.
Breathe away.
