It’s A Passion Inflicted Flickering Light / To Je Patnjom Pogodjeno Treperavo Svjetlo

That dies away in candles unlit
It defines the circumference of its own burning
Gracefully etched in fragile petals kissed
By lips now mute in fields of gold now blooming
Like little fires cast into the hearth of my heart
Like flames of my dawn coming never to depart

To je patnjom pogodeno treperavo svjetlo
Što umire u neupaljenim svijecama
Ono odreduje obim u kom gori
Graciozno urezbareno u krhkim petaljkama poljubljeno
Usnama sada nijemim što u poljima zlata sad pupe
Kao male vatre bacene što ognjištu srca vode
Kao plamenje zore kad mi dode da nikada ne ode

Fire forever (Nafaka)

the rings of fire I’ll throw into the sky
let the twilight burn let it burn the night
the fires of souls down the river flow
fire and yesterday fire and tomorrow
fire forever

the thought of fire I’ll burn under my fingers
let the breath into the chains into the chains
let there be a fire
let there be a darkness
the morning in chains let it burn

hundreds of bracelets decorate the hands
what you can hear is the sound of their ashes
let them butn the touches into the dust
big fires upon the horizon
the fire of dawn
the fire of twilight
the fire of midnight
fire forever

and just two tiny earings of pain
on the ears to remain like little flames
cracking listening
for everything to go away
within a red memory
fire forever

and two tiny earings of pain
beyond a dusty curse in eternity to meet
let them burn in touch let them burn in passion
for everything broken in suffering to go away
fire forever

vatra zauvijek

prstenja od vatre u nebesa bacicu
da gori sumrak da gori noc
pozari dusa niz velike rijeke neka poteku
vatra i juce vatra i danas vatra i sutra
vatra zauvijek

pod prstima sprzicu misao vatre
u lance u lance neka ide dah
neka bude pozar
neka bude mrak
neka sagori u okovima jutro

narukvica sto neka kiti ruke
to sto zvecka pepeo je njihov
zvukom da sagore dodiri do praha
pozari veliki na horizontu
pozar svitanja pozar sumraka pozar ponoci
vatra zauvijek

i dvije male mindjuse od bola
na usima neka ostanu ko plamicak
od svjetla neka se sastavi
slusanje pucketanje
da nestane sve u crvenom sjecanju
vatra zauvijek

i dvije male mindjuse od bola
nad urokom od praha neka se sastave u vjecnost
dodirom neka sagore strascu da se sprze
da nestane sve patnjom satrveno
vatra zauvijek
velika vatra prociscenja

Come on

Come on give me those cherry lips blooming

I'm cast in your dice
I'm cast to your side
And pray to my Lord
In winter's abode
My love for you
In hearth to abide

No past no future just a gift of present
Beautiful beautiful present from above
Cherry lips blooming in a cup of your love
In winter's freezing white washed desert
Your heart burning around my hearth
A gift from heaven winter joy and mirth

Un enfant terrible

A lovely child of beautitude
Breaks a toy of life under the fingers
Breathes in what takes a breath away
Dies its own immortality

Un enfant terrible
A terrible child
The daughter and the son of fire
Adopted in a tender flame

It will come out the box
Be the victim of the broken fire
Be a necklace of its own yearning
Be a rope around its own neck
And an endless circle

Ljupko dijete blaženstva
Pod prstima lomi igračku života
Udiše ono što oduzima dah
Sopstvenu besmrtnost umire

Un enfant terrible
Užasno dijete
Kćer požara i sin vatre
Pastorče nježnog plamička

Izaćiće iz svoje kutije
Biti žrtva polomljene vatre
Ogrlica sopstvene čežnje
Omča oko vrata
I beskrajan krug

A discovery/Otkrice

From behind all the twilights and evening shadows
Under all the covers
And you who do the night rims vigils
Under all sand clocks
And far from those who chase
The windmills of their won restlessness
From behind all the silences hidden within themselves
From behind all the words hidden within themselves
That we were silent with
I took out a flame a fire of the being

It's not the doors locked by the mind
It's not by the mind
Those are not the loves plundered by a heart
Those are not the creatures dried out by the heart
It's not the heart hunt but it's with the heart

It's you and I
And she and he
Those breathings there and these breathings here
That breathe in life everywhere and forever
And they are never now

Oh if we were now how could we be

Otkrice

Iza svih sutona i vecernjih sjenki
Ispod svih pokrivaca
I vas nocobdija okorjele noci
Ispod svih pješcanih satova
I dalje od onih što ganjaju
Vjetrenjace sopstvenih nemira
Iza svih u sebi skrivenih cutanja
Iza svih u sebi skrivenih rijeci kojima smo cutali
Izvukla sam plamen
Oganj samog bice

To nisu umom zakljucana vrata
To nije umom
To nisu srcem poharane ljubavi
To nisu srcem ispijena bica
To nije lov srca no srcem je

To smo ti i ja
I ona tamo i ova ovdje disanja
Što životom dišu svugdje i zauvijek
I nikada u sada

O da smo sada kako bismo bili

Širokosa/Blond Beyond The Sun

Plavi se iznad sunca
Ko brijeg širok poljima snivam
Kosa raspletena nad osmjehom zore

Ovaj svijet više nije tajna
Jer Isterom gonjen rašiva halje obalastoj misli

Nad pregrštima
Raste ko klasjem ispleteno
Novo runo jagnje i bjelina

I plavi se iznad sunca
Ko široko more i svetionici
Rašivena halja

Blond beyond the sun
Like a wide hill dreamt of by the fields
The hair untied above the smile of dawn

The world is no longer a secret
For chased by Ister
It tears the dresses to the bank-like thought

Beyond the armfuls it grows
As if entangled in spikes
A new fur a lamb and the whiteness

And it's blond beyond the sun
Likes wide seas and the lighthouses
A torn dress

Two Ideas, Two Flames, Two Mouths

two mouths that kiss
two lips that burn
inside our minds

two flames
from our hearts
burning together
fusing in fire

two ideas shared by us
sprouting together

the fusion of two ideas

A descendant of fire

what became first - fire or ash

'you'll melt like a candle in a little pool of wax
a face sealed by the spirit of wax
you'll burn like thoughts on a bonfire of words
for you are the fire that burns itself'
an arsonist said with wax in his eyes
'in a homeless whisper you're a broken flamelet
in the time of fire that swallows itself'

but a particle of ash is a fire descendant
and to burn is its wisdom

šta je prvo nastalo - vatra ili pepeo

'istopiceš se ko svijeca u barici voska
duhom voska zapecacen lik
goreceš ko misli na lomaci rijeci
jer ti si vatra koja samu sebe prži
rece mi palikuca sa voskom u ocima
'u bezdomnom šapatu spaljeni žižak
u vremenu vatre koja samu sebe guta'

ali cestica pepela potomak je vatre
i da gori njena je mudrost

Pressed Petals

Pressed between diary's private pages.
Blossoms from one lover giv'n.
A promise made so long ago.
Sealed with blush from ruby lips.

Fragile petals hidden away.
Hold memories of love so true.
Love once spoken whisper soft.
Grown in strength with passing time.

Hold well your secret, delicate bloom.
Release, recharge lover's memorys' magic.
Each time the diary is reopened,
when your petals are caressed.

Like Her Mum

She's just like her mum
Her dad did say,
As we sat and spoke for a bit.
So sad are the things
That she has done to you,
In my heart there is another candle unlit.
My poor little lassie
She has done it again
That son, is why that I am crying,
As what she has done to you
Was also done to me before,
And I too, felt like dying.
Her Mum whom I loved
With all of my heart
Did to me the very same things.
She went behind my back
More than once in our life
Then forgot about me and our rings.
All these excuses that she gave
And all the times that she lied
Finally came, and caught up with her.
Now she walks in her shame
From day unto day,
Never knowing what has, occurred.
But my poor young lassie
I pity her so
And the life that she is trying to live,
She will blame all of her faults
On her Mum and maybe even me
And now probably you, I do believe.
Inside of my own heart
As to me, her dad did speak
There are many candles that are unlit,
From the sadness that she caused
And the pain that she had dealt
My heart has became an empty pit.
And sadly I know one day
And it will be because of my Lassie
The candles will be gone, and I will had cried,
And this you will know my son
When my light and sunshine are gone
Of course so will I, as I will had died.
She is just like her Mum
Again her dad did say
As we had just finished our talk,
I can see it in her eyes
And I hear it when she speaks
I can even see it in her walk.
I feel so very sorry for you
What you have seen and what you have felt
Of all the wickedness my Lassie has done,
But sadly you are not the first
And you will not be the last,
As She is, just like Her Mum.

Fire On the Ridge

In the west there is fearsome fire in the hills.
Full of dread, the people watch as flames burn upon the ridge.
Fierce winds fan the fury where the fires singe.
Meanwhile there’s hot air blasting forth from high upon the hill,
Pointless wind aimed at stirring some futile acts of men.
Strong winds fan the flames.
Embers ignite the blaze again.
While homes are lost across the land,
A burning night gives way to the dawn of restless men.
Rhetoric fails to charm while flames move across the land.
Fires burn readily across dry mountaintops.
Drought’s danger seeps down the slopes.
Now the valley too is brown and the pastures parched.
Wherever stray embers fall, fires will catch and burn
Until nowhere can they be stopped.
Will anything escape the flames fanned by these raging relentless winds?

The firemen grow weary,
They know neither sleep nor rest.
All their wisdom and efforts fail to meet the fires growing test.
They seek the help of younger men to aid them in the night,
But none can hear or heed the call; they are ensnared in some other fight.
The chief in command stands out of touch safe on the distant hill.
Insulated from the desperate fight, no fires will he end.
People in the valley see him perched emotionless and still.
If he even has a plan from this distance they can’t tell.
They fear for the safety of those who fight and for their own as well.
They fear the loss of all they love and treasure beyond price.
The fields once waved golden and valleys were lush with finest fruits.
The harvest, which they toiled toward, is in peril of being lost.
Will fires claim the victory and devour all they cherish?
Or will they rise against the blaze, fighting fire with fire, before they perish?
Through night a western ridge stays lit, while across this land no one dare now rest.

Your Gold Dress

You gold dress is whirling around
Like a fan its lifting you high
High above the ground
Never coming down
You gold dress is burning alight
Deafens me with the sound of the sun
Setting fire to the night
And everythings all right
Vibrations coming my way
When youre floating on by
In your gold dress
Vibrations coming to play
When youre filling the sky
With your gold ... dress
Your gold dress is shaming the stars
A thousand melting dali guitars
Make no sound
And dripping slowly down
Your gold dress is all I can see
Blind my eyes but there it will be
Beacon burning bright
And everythings all right
Your gold dress!

Beyond A Tracing I Have Never Been...

Somewhere there around me
I find a new fire burning
With colourful flames hitherto unseen.
I find that it is burning with fumes
Souring to the altitudes hitherto unreached.
In fact my joy knows no bounds.

I feel the thing burning now
Oh, my mind is it!
I find the eccentric crowd cheering
My people are it!
And a gloom begins to embrace me.

The flames flicker and go slende,
The smoke withers and dies,
And the souls unseen creep back into the holes,
I feel a stench of my mind
And a heap of ash remains.

I can`t see new things burning,
Nor can I search for flames thereof.
With what little is left over in me since
I have to somehow trace a form of mine
To speak certain brutal truths to you.

Beyond a tracing I have never been...

Come in and meet my friend-Udi i upoznaj mog prijatelja

come in and meet my friend

he's got eyes of different colours
one eye is blue the other is like honey

he's got a scar somewhere beneath his heart
and the wound under the heart a bitter snake of a dream

he's got a coat and a hat on his head
the coat with two facets and the hat full of thoughts

come in and meet my friend

he knows the names of the rivers and the limits of the globe
and the salt stolen from the bottom of the sea

he knows the ribs of rocks and the whisper from the cliff
and the words hiding under the whisper

he knows all the streets all the houses at twilight
their numbers and addresses through the mother's bloodline

come in and meet my friend

he rides his thoughts like bicycles
up the hills down the slopes by the rivers and lakes

he drives his thoughts like many coloured trains
their vibrant call is layered on the rails

he leads his thoughts like caravans
so that the hot deserts don't die without water

come in and meet my friend

he loves the tramps the clowns and acrobats
the circles of fire and the walk on the wire

he loves the travellers and their suitcases
filled with memories of a step to the goal

he loves the drunkards the beggars the lost and the forgotten
who give their handful of love to the mute world

come in and meet my friend

he thinks your thoughts when you're alone
so that everyone can be there within your solitude

he thinks the thoughts of the sky when all the suns fade out
he steals a grain of gold from the sunshine ray

he thinks the thoughts of earth when the waters dry out
and feeds their springs with gratitude to the last of drops

come in and meet my friend

he'll make you a tea from a plant
that with its root kisses the edge of its bud

he'll make you a meal from its bread
whose crust survived the thunderstrike

he'll make you a bed by the window
so that you can watch the bird and its flight at twilight

come in and meet my friend

he holds his days from the first to the last
he removes the webs of hours from your sight

he holds his treasures under the pillow of light
and the light from that pillow warms your dreams

he keeps his shoes at the threshold of each entrance
so that your step never fades so that you can learn the path

come in and meet my friend

he's got eyes of different colours
one eye is blue the other is like honey

he's got a scar somewhere beneath his heart
and the wound under the heart a bitter snake of a dream

on misli tvoje misli kad sasvim si sam
da ti u samoći baš svi budu tu

uđi i upoznaj mog prijatelja

on će ti spremiti čaj od biljke jedne
što korijenom ljubi rub od svoga cvijeta

on će ti spremiti jelo od svog hljeba

on će ti spremiti postelju kraj prozora
da u suton gledaš pticu i njen let

uđi i upoznaj mog prijetalja

on drži svoje dane od prvog do posljednjeg

I kissed a girl

I kissed a girl
and something more was there,
than the touch of lips
and something of her soul
was burning into me.

I kissed a girl
and it was more sweet,
than any kiss before
and it was if that kiss
was meant to be.

I kissed a girl
and knew from somewhere,
that no kiss would ever be
like this again.

I kissed a girl
and was stunned
like by a thunderclap
and she had awakened,
all devils and angels in me.

I kissed a girl
and my passions were
aroused to extremity
and still I wanted to be sweet
and know her better than a friend.

I kissed a girl
and she turned my world
and somehow caught destiny
and I did not want
to ever let her go.

I kissed a girl
and I love her still
and you know,
that the girl are you.

Rose

Single rose
Lies broken
In the memory of our dream.
Prose remains unspoken.
And loving words
Like unlit candles
Forever wait to gleam.

Single rose
Lies dying
In the courtyard of love's castle.
Our one unopened parcel
From heaven
Lost in the post.
What wasn't said
Will cost us the most.
As passion makes its exit
Ascending through clouds of cream,
Loving words
Like unlit candles
Forever wait to gleam.

Such A Night

(words & music by lincoln chase)
It was a night oo-oo what a night
It was it really was such a night
The moon was bright oh how so bright
It was it really was such a night
The night was alight with stars above
Oo-oo when she kissed me
I had to fall in love
Oh it was a kiss oo-oo what a kiss
It was it really was such a kiss
Oh how she could kiss oh what a kiss
It was it really was such a kiss
Just the thought of her lips
Sets me afire
I reminisce and Im filled with desire
But Id gave my heart to her in sweet surrender
How well I remember, Ill always remember
Oh, what a night oo-oo what a night
It was it really was such a night
Came the dawn and my heart and her love
And the night was gone
But Ill never forget the kiss
The kiss in the moonlight
Oo-oo such a kiss, such a night
It was a night oo-oo what a night
It was it really was such a night
Came the dawn and my heart and her love
And the night was gone
But Ill never forget the kiss
The kiss in the moonlight
How well I remember, Ill always remember
That night oo-oo what a night
It was it really was such a night
When we kissed I had to fall in love
But Id gave my heart to her in sweet surrender
How well I remember, Ill always remember
Oh that night oo-oo what a night
It was it really was such a night
When we kissed I had to fall in love
Well shes gone, gone, gone
Yes shes gone, gone, gone
Came the dawn, dawn, dawn
And my love was gone
But before that dawn
Yes before that dawn and before that dawn
Oo-oo, oo-oo, oo-oo, oo-oo, oo-oo
Such a night

Fields Of Gold

Youll remember me when the west wind moves
Upon the fields of barley
Youll forget the sun in his jealous sky
As we walk in the fields of gold
So she took her love
For to gaze awhile
Upon the fields of barley
In his arms she fell as her hair came down
Among the fields of gold
Will you stay with me, will you be my love
Among the fields of barley
Well forget the sun in his jealous sky
As we lie in the fields of gold
See the west wind move like a lover so
Upon the fields of barley
Feel her body rise when you kiss her mouth
Among the fields of gold
I never made promises lightly
And there have been some that Ive broken
But I swear in the days still left
Well walk in the fields of gold
Well walk in the fields of gold
Many years have passed since those summer days
Among the fields of barley
See the children run as the sun goes down
Among the fields of gold
Youll remember me when the west wind moves
Upon the fields of barley
You can tell the sun in his jealous sky
When we walked in the fields of gold
When we walked in the fields of gold
When we walked in the fields of gold
