A Sound

Silence swaying swelled
Reverberations
Whisper broken spelled

Swaying Then Dancing

Crushed under a grey day, reports of my
mother in pain, Carine weighed down by
four steel pegs and ten screws in her leg,
no escape from scrambled thoughts

Went out marching, swaying then dancing
to musical rhythms, becoming one with the
beat of the universe, not a care in the world
as velvet voices sing joy into my mind

“Let me whisper in your ear, say the words you
want to hear, I’m in love with you, just the two
of us, the only sound that you will hear is when
I whisper in your ear - I love you”

“All over the world people just like us are falling
in love …” and I feel people like me joyously
swaying in every possible universe

Sounds of Silence

Nature’s greatest gifts attacked by disquieted nations,
Leaving nothing in place but mechanical reverberations.
Melodies of the woods serenading shooting stars
Surrender to hammers pounding and boisterous cars.

Silence, soothing silence, you have spoken a world to me.
A partner with whisperings always meant to set me free.
Now a threatened companion once always at my side;
When juxtaposed with greed I often ignored your guide.

Silence, I beseech you, use tones soft, but clear
So no matter where I am, I’ll know you can be near.
At times when myriad noises distract or voices demur,
Hypnotize me into your world where all thought is pure.

Silence oh silence; I need you more each and every day.
Clear my mind; destroy that grind with your gentle way.
Silence my silence; I promise to hear your every word.
Give me peace and help me cease to value the absurd.

All time low

All Time Low
By: Jean Pullman

You, slit your wrist just to feel
(Whisper) That life is real
You, wonder when you’re gonna die
(Whisper) Am I still alive

CHORUS
You’re at your all time low
There’s nowhere
Every door’s been locked
Every window’s broken
You wouldn’t stop and now you’re choking
You’re at your all time low
Where you gonna go

You, constantly feel like dying
(Whisper) Choke when you’re crying
You, call and get no answer
(Whisper) Your mind begins to canter
You, let you’re tears flow
(Whisper) Feel extremely low
You, feel like hanging from a rope
(Whisper) you lose control
You, know he’s ignoring your calls
(Whisper) Your insides crawl

CHORUS
You’re at your all time low
There’s nowhere
Every door’s been locked
Every window’s broken
You wouldn’t stop and now you’re choking
You’re at your all time low
Where you gonna go

You, are flying through a pitch black vortex
(Whisper) the bullet in your chest
You, aren’t seeing a white light
(Whisper) not a surprise
You, couldn’t take anymore
(Whisper) you’re bloody corpse on the floor
You, are finally not depressed
(Whisper) Because you’re dead

Whisper

Whisper it to my ears,
Just whisper it to my soul,
This soul that is lost within these walls,
Watch as it falls,
I hear it whispering within these halls,
The halls that remain silent within this tragedy,
Tragedy of a broken rose,
That rose must rise once more,
That rose is your heart,
You heart that needs to beat,
Whisper,
Whisper it gently,
Whisper it to my heart,
My heart that once was whole,
Just whisper those words I been wanting to hear.

The Silence..

Silence Is something the something great,
This silence Is an Innocent might be speechless..
But this silence know how to whisper..
It's whispering something that there Is greater than the great..
Silence Is trying to express that It is creating it's feelings
and so a people like us will hear them....

Inconnu

In a quiet place, where no one goes,
I sit, swaying a little in the breeze.
I wonder if the water in the stream
Has ever tried to quell the never-ceasing
Forces that compel it on its way.
Does the water ever wish that it could
Rest and think a little, just like me?
Does it wonder where it's going? Or, with
Beautiful submission, does it travel on its
Way with no regrets? I want to do
What's right, to travel on my way
With no regrets. So I sit, swaying
In the breeze and listening to
The rustling leaves, who whisper,
'Rest feels near.'

Im A Man

I see the writing
On the wall
I see you baby
Gonna make you feel small
Sweet darlin
Ooh you gotta be mine
Im gonna love you baby
For about a hours time
Cause Im a man
Spelled m
Spelled a
Spelled n
Yes Im a man
Im a man
Oooh
I was motivated
Back in town
I saw a cadillac sign sayin
No money down
So I eased my breaks
And I pulled in my ford
Ive gotta have that car
I go ridin down the road
Mmm let me say it again
Ahh yeah let me tell you again
When I was a little boy
A-not but five years old
A-my mother told me son
A-you got a lotta lovin in the fold
cause you gonna be a man
A-youre gonna be a man
A-youre gonna be a man, a youre gonna be be be a man

Play Me A Whisper

play me a whisper in my ear
where i
whimper
and tremble
in desire
(that is your
word not mine)

play me softly a whisper of love
in my hair
i let you
and tell you how it means to me

play it on
turn me on, i let you know how much it means
to me

my hair thinking my skin whimpering
let me have your whisper
now not in my ear
let it be in my mouth
let it stay
let it stray inside my tongue

play me a little soft whisper
not in my mouth now
but in my heart

let it stay there for a while
and then play me another whisper
not in my heart now

let it be inside my guts
down in my belly
let it go deeper

let it escape in the toes of my feet and let this whisper
dissolve in a distance in the infinite silence of the space

between us

Bong...

i don't think we do not
recognize each other anymore
when we meet we keep the silence
a horrible silence
since it is the most pretentious one
yet we do not feel that something is wrong
or wasted or something needs to be repaired
what i know and for which i never tell him was this
i was also broken, in fact, more broken than him
and in my silence i was then too busy
placing things in the proper order
same as him
i do not think that we intended to hurt one another
that is never the point
we have gone there twice and it was very painful
we have to repeat the procedure again
we look down
we are so humiliated and wanting to redeem what we lost
upon our own faults

now we finished the mission
but still in silence we keep the understanding
still friends
but not calling our names

in the humility of our failures
we have become
real men....

Lost in the silence

Standing still dazed and confused
My world is going round
Im lost in the madness
The noise becomes a whisper
Then slowly a fading silence
My voice is gone..
Where do i belong?
Lost in the silence
You cant find me
I was once a dream
then I became my own nightmare
Spare me the silence.
Im going to set a blaze
Hear the roaring thunder? ?
Im coming near..
You can taste the fear
Behind each tear
Of silence

The Quiet Heart

How quiet my heart
In what, where love is forgot
Where no passion nor desire
Holds any value at all
No just a nothingness
A silence of thought
I had surrendered a love
Found it unrequited
To heavy a burden to bare
And now silence
Broken by odd whisper
Telling tales of attraction
Building their part up higher
As though some great romance
Awaits to be rehearsed
No silent is my heart
Since the last love was left
Since I bid farewell
To the unrequited desire
I have known so often
And so well

From The Nightmare Shaken

Here walking amongst the ruins of heavens citadel
I can sense the movements of the past disturbing meditation
Echo's - reverberations from another plain.
From some small world dissolving
Time makes fools of us all.

From the nightmare shaken
How am I to awaken within myself acceptance of the silence that hangs so heavy a shroud
Of death upon the chariot of the sun?

A sacrifice required?
Who shall be first fed, slain for the thirst of the dead.

Silence Is Golden

If I am silent
I am not real
If I speak up then
No one will hear
If I wear a mask there's
Somewhere to hide

Silence is golden
I have been broken
Safe in my own skin
So nobody wins

If I raise my voice
Will someone get hurt?
If I can feel it
But I can't get touched
If no truce was spoken
Then don't ask me why

Silence is golden
I have been broken
Safe in my own skin
So nobody wins

Won't someone listen
I have been broken
Safe in my own skin
So nobody wins

Did you hear me speak
Do you understand
Did you hear my voice
Did you take my hand
Did you understand me

Won't someone listen?
I have been broken
My body's a temple
But nothing is simple

Won't someone listen?
Something was stolen
Silence is golden
So nobody listen

Won't someone listen?
I have been broken
My body's a temple
But nothing is simple

Won't someone listen?
I have been broken
My body's a temple
But nothing is simple

Won't someone listen?
I have been broken
The silence is golden
I'm safe in my own skin

Won't someone listen?
I have been broken
My body's a temple
But nothing is simple

Day After Day

She lives in a house
That reflects her state of mind, mind
Organised chaos
In this labyrinth she hides,hides
She got locked up years ago
All these voices whisper
All these voices whisper
Whisper and whisper
And day after day
Marinated in wine and tobacco
All these voices whisper
All these voices whisper and
Day after day
After day
Pink fluffy dinosaurs
Are almost back in town,town
Pulling all the strings
That will finally bring her down, down
She got locked up years ago
All these voices whisper
All these voices whisper
Whisper and whisper
And day after day
Marinated in wine and tobacco
All these voices whisper
All these voices whisper and
Day after day
After day

A single tear is shed

Conversational stop,
Pregnant pause.
Silence made with a scream,
Something to ignore.
Best time is no time.
And yet we float,
Past miracles of broken promises.
Catch nothing, say nothing
Nothing is all we hear.
When silence is broken
A single tear is shed.

Does silence suffice...

Does silence suffice when you care for someone
But friendship is the most they can give

Does silence suffice when friendship is offered
But it’s just not enough

Does silence suffice when your hearts been broken
But you can’t say goodbye

Does silence suffice when he claims to really care
But is too busy to say Happy Birthday

Does silence suffice when you think about him again and again
But your pride and your pain tells you

That... silence does suffice

Shatter

The still silence falls
A curtain, nay, a wall
To dampen all the noise
Of the gathered girls and boys
Not a thing is heard
Not a whisper, not a word
But a solemn symphony
Of silent harmony
Like a soundless breeze
Gliding in with ease
Falls the silent wall
Holding all in thrall…

Then laughter!
With a clatter!
Like a clang
Out it rang
From their lips
Laughter rips
Hoots and hollers
Wild callers
Façade falls
Broken wall
With the laughter
Silence shatters.

Eternal Silence

Silence
Silence when we are walking,
Silence when we think,
Silence is what fills us all,
With a binding eternal link.

Silence in the little children,
Silence in the adults,
Silence wrapping around us all,
Silence pulsing in the walls.

Silence fills this hollow world,
Silence is the choice we make,
Silence is the death of this all,
Silence is our fate.

Lend Me Silence

Lend me silence
The noise is drowning me
Making my heart unheard
Making my spirit inaudible
Silence is peace
Silence is joy

Give me silence
Give me peace
Noise is polluting
I long to hear
My breath
And whisper

Lend me silence
Lend me peace
My soul is yearning
For solace
