Sonnet XXXIX: Some, When in Rhyme
Some, when in rhyme they of their loves do tell,
With flames and lightnings their exordiums paint;
Some call on Heav'n, some invocate on Hell,
And Fates and Furies with their woes acquaint.
Elysium is too high a seat for me;
I will not come in Styx or Phlegethon;
The thrice-three Muses but too wanton be;
Like they that lust, I care not; I will none.
Spiteful Erinnys frights me with her looks;
My manhood dares not with foul Ate mell;
I quake to look on Hecate's charming books;
I still fear bugbears in Apollo's cell.
I pass not for Minerva nor Astraea;
Only I call on my divine Idea.

Consider strange appeal
Paint me in the home
Im brushing up on sketchbook

Consider what I mean
She sinks beneath thr moving pictures
Prepare the brush for me

Sonnet. To A Young Lady Who Sent Me A Laurel Crown
Fresh morning gusts have blown away all fear
From my glad bosom, -- now from gloominess
I mount for ever -- not an atom less
Than the proud laurel shall content my bier.
No! by the eternal stars! or why sit here
In the Sun's eye, and 'gainst my temples press
Apollo's very leaves, woven to bless
By thy white fingers and thy spirit clear.
Lo! who dares say, 'Do this'? Who dares call down
My will from its high purpose? Who say,'Stand,'
Or, 'Go'? This mighty moment I would frown
On abject Caesars -- not the stoutest band
Of mailed heroes should tear off my crown:
Yet would I kneel and kiss thy gentle hand!

Another Day
What seems like such a winter's tale
Lightening runs through the fallen flames
By kneeling down we're here to pray
At that point forsaken unafraid
I only wanna feel you being strong
I only wanna feel you being strong
Call me up and let's begin
Call me up and let's begin
Another day
Call me up and let's begin
Call me up and let's begin
You done that to me
Feel my breath go cold and calm
My pride is last and I sin again
And all the seasons change their scent
A year of hell they come against my head once more
I only wanna feel you being strong

Hell On High Heels
Bashful betty, such a bondage brat
Dressed in latex and coated in sewer rat
A serpents tongue calculating mind
Gets top billing for her hip shake divine
Look to the sky
No rain in sight
Better wear your rubber boys
If betty is your date tonight
Honey, its how ya makin money
Boys call ya
Hell on high heels
Baby, the way ya walk it talk it
Town calls ya
Hell on high heels
Sexy suki, little geisha girl
Given every samurai a twirl
An hiv v.i.p.
Backseat panties down around her knees
Shes got no money
Cant pay the rent
Its a sunny day now baby
Every night on her back thats spent
Honey, its how ya makin money
Boys call ya
Hell on high heels
Baby, the way ya walk it talk it
Town calls ya
Hell on high heels
Honey, its how ya makin money
Boys call ya
Hell on high heels
Baby, the way ya walk it talk it
Town calls ya

Don Juan: Canto the Twelfth
LIV
But now I will begin my poem. 'Tis
Perhaps a little strange, if not quite new,
That from the first of Cantos up to this
I've not begun what we have to go through.
These first twelve books are merely flourishes,
Preludios, trying just a string or two
Upon my lyre, or making the pegs sure;
And when so, you shall have the overture.LV
My Muses do not care a pinch of rosin
About what's call'd success, or not succeeding:
Such thoughts are quite below the strain they have chosen;
'Tis a "great moral lesson" they are reading.
I thought, at setting off, about two dozen
Cantos would do; but at Apollo's pleading
If that my Pegasus should not be founder'd,
I think to canter gently through a hundred.
I Don't Care Anymore
Well you can tell ev'ryone I'm a down disgrace
So drag my name all over the place.
I don't care anymore. (I don't care)
You can tell ev'rybody 'bout the state I'm in
You won't catch me crying 'cos I just can't win.
I don't care anymore I don't care anymore
I don't care what you say
I don't play the same games you play.
'Cos I've been talking to the people that you call your friends
And it seems to me there's a means to and end.
They don't care anymore. (they don't care)
And as for me I can sit here and bide my time
I got nothing to lose if I speak my mind.
I don't care anymore I don't care no more
I don't care what you say
We never played by the same rules anyway.
I won't be there anymore
Get out of my way
Let me by
I got better things to do with my time
I don't care anymore I don't care anymore
I don't care anymore I don't care anymore
Well, I don't care now what you say (I don't care what you say)
'Cos ev'ry day (everyday)
I'm feeling fine with myself (I'm feeling fine with myself)
And I don't care now what you say (I don't care what you say)
Hey I'll do alright by myself (I'll be alright by myself)
I don't care (I don't care) anymore (anymore)
I don't care (I don't care) anymore (anymore)
I don't care (I don't care) anymore (anymore)
I don't care anymore
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
What what?
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
What what?
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
What what?
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
What what?
'Cos I remember all the times I tried so hard
And you laughed in my face 'cos ya held all the cards.
I don't care anymore.
And I really ain't bothered what you think of me
'Cos all I want of you is just a let me be.
I don't care anymore
Did you hear? I don't care no more
I don't care what you say
I never did believe you much anyway.
We won't be there any more
So get out of our way.
Let us by
We got better things to do with our time
We don't care anymore
We don't care anymore
We don't care anymore
We don't care anymore
We don't care
We don't care
We don't care (anymore)
We don't care

ASong
Many wonders disappear
never to return, so they say-
Tyre's towers, Minerva's spear
Ptolemy's library
And that paragon, the Parthenon
stove by a shell one day
But I don't care, let them disappear,
I don't care, I really don't care.
refrain
So they say, so they say, but I don't care, no
I don't, not a bit, let them go
I don't care at all what is gone or will come
I don't care anyhow.
Even Earth grows old
and trudges a little on her way
Her heart goes limping worn and cold
and duller every day.
Chorister lark is driven out
by starling, hardier kine-
But I care no more, what comes about
Is no concern of mine.
refrain
I woke in the dead of night
from a heaving, foul unrest
Somewheres I knew the Sphinx was a-move
howling and biting her breast
There on the day's rim
fashioning itself in flames
xxx
Rosa-Munda hung.
refrain
Someday a cloud will come
to cover the earth, so they say
There'll be fiery rain and icicle rain
The mountains will dance with the seas.
Famine will enter, counting his ribs
and Death, the equestrian
But I won't fear 'cause I don't care
I don't care, let them come.

Fugue 2 / Song Of Daedalus
Call me cool as january
I walk like the breeze
And wear the world like filigree
Call me too large for life
Thats only sticks and stones
Im standing so tall
It seems that Ive grown
Call me irresponsible
Your rules of the game
Are only clouds to float above
Call me, lets do lunch
When I get time for girls
Im working on things
To astonish the world
Call me weird and laugh at me
I tell you its true
Ive found a cure for gravity
Call me mad as march
High as in hogmanay
Just watch me and weep
Im out of this maze
See the wings made of feathers, of wax and of thread
See me soar high above all the quick and the dead
Call me now
Call me stars and moon and plough
Call me lord, call me sire
Call me earth and wind and fire
Call me judge, call me shah
Call me king, call me tsar
Call me god

How A Mom IS
A mom to love,
A mom to care,
A mom to roam with you everywhere!
A mom to dance,
A mom to sing,
A mom to paint an aeroplane and king!
A mom to kiss,
A mom to hug,
A mom who never scolds
If you break a jug!
A mom who runs,
A mom who plays,
A mom who bakes hot cross buns!
A mom to call you darling,
A mom to call you pearl,
A mom to call you diamond,
Is a wish of every girl!

Hymn 143
Characters of the children of God. From several scriptures.
So new-born babes desire the breast,
To feed, and grow, and thrive;
So saints with joy the gospel taste,
And by the gospel live.
[With inward gust their heart approves
All that the word relates;
They love the men their Father loves,
And hate the works he hates.]
[Not all the flatt'ring baits on earth
Can make them slaves to lust;
They can't forget their heav'nly birth,
Nor grovel in the dust.
Not all the chains that tyrants use
Shall bind their souls to vice;
Faith, like a conqueror, can produce
A thousand victories.]
[Grace, like an uncorrupting seed,
Abides and reigns within;
Immortal principles forbid
The sons of God to sin.]
[Not by the terrors of a slave
Do they perform his will,
But with the noblest powers they have
His sweet commands fulfil.]
They find access at every hour
To God within the veil;
Hence they derive a quick'ning power,
And joys that never fail.
O happy souls! O glorious state
Of overflowing grace!
To dwell so near their Father's seat,
And see his lovely face!
Lord, I address thy heav'nly throne;
Call me a child of thine;
Send down the Spirit of thy Son
To form my heart divine.
There shed thy choicest loves abroad,
And make my comforts strong:
Then shall I say, "My Father God!"
With an unwav'ring tongue.

To Mr. Bleecker
Yes, I invok'd the Muses' aid
To help me write, for 'tis their trade;
But only think, ungrateful Muses,
They sent dame Iris with excuses,
They'd other business for to follow,
Beg'd I'd apply to God Apollo.
The God said, as heav'n's charioteer,
He had no time to mind us here;
Said if we rac'd round earth like Phoebus
One day, it sadly would fatigue us;
Yet we expect, when tir'd at night,
He'd stay from bed to help us write:
Nor need we ask his sister Phoebe,
For turning round had made her giddy;
Her inspiration would confuse us,
So counsell'd us to coax the Muses.
Quite disappointed at this lecture
I left his worship sipping nectar;
But, pettishly as I left his dome,
It chanc'd I met the Goddess Wisdom.
No wonder she is wife, 'tis said
She was the product of Jove's head.
'Bright Queen,' said I, 'in these abodes
'I beg'd a favour of the Gods:
'They wish'd the poets at the devil,
'And the nine ladies were uncivil:
'Apollo told me he was lazy,
'And call'd his sister Phoebe crazy.
'Permit me then your kind protection;
'From you I cannot fear rejection.'
Tritonia gave me smiles and nods,
(The unsual compliments of Gods,)
And look'd benign as rising sun,
Which gave me courage to go on.
'---Oh Goddess! let your powerful arms
'Keep young Ulyssus from all harms;
'Attend him in each strange adventure,
'And be, in human form, his mentor:
'Oh bid him shun Circean feasts,
'Whose magic pow'r turns men to beasts;
'Nor let him touch the fatal tree,
'Lest he forget Penelope:
'Keep him from a Calypso's arms,
'And all the treacherous Syren's charms:
'In Cyclop cells let him not enter;
'Permit him not at games to venture;
'Sure as he does, he is undone,
'Each sharper is a lestrigon;
'Nor city luxury inure him,
'To be a modern epicurian;
'(For Temperance, celestial maid,
'Is still a virtue of the shade:)
'And dire diseases burn each vein
'Of those who Temperance prophane,
'And kill her sacred beeves in vain.
'The Grecians once to Pluto's glooms
'So sunk for slaughter'd hecatombs.
'If men believ'd in transmigration,
'How would it spare the brute creation?
'But, Goddess! let him soon return,
'Nor twice ten years in absence mourn;
'To those who love, a month appears
'As long as twenty tedious years.'
Minerva rais'd her ægis high,
That blaz'd effulgence thro' the sky,
And, smiling took the common oath,
To be immensely kind to both;
Then down from heaven's pure æther flew
Swifter than light---in search of you.

Call To Get A Cop
If you want me arrested,
Call to get a cop.
I've given my best,
Believe it or not.
Now you want to confess to me...
You think I'm a thief!
Please.
If you want me arrested,
Call to get a cop.
I've given up all I had,
Believe that or not.
Now you tell me that I can't leave...
Because your aggravations aren't that bad.
This is worse than living in a jail cell.
Living with you has been pure hell.
I've got to leave you and do it quick,
With a taking of my mind...
And,
Splitting through an exit!
Yes.
If you call a cop,
Be honest when you tell on me.
Get a cop,
And tell the story truthfully.
Without those tears you weep and drop.
With the telling of lies nonstop.
Whoa Nelly!
If you want me arrested,
Call to get a cop.
I've given my best,
Believe it or not.
Now you want to confess to me...
You think I'm a thief!
Please.
And you want me arrested,
Because I wont take from you...
More of your mess,
Yes.
You want me arrested,
Because your testing gives me no rest.
And...
You want me arrested,
Because I've decided to step.
Yes.
And you wish to break my neck.
So,
If you want me arrested?
Call to get a cop.
I've given my best,
Believe it or not.
Now you want to confess to me...
I've all you've got,
Please!
This is worse than living in a jail cell.
Living with you has been pure hell.
I've got to leave you and do it quick,
With a taking of my mind...
And,
Splitting through an exit!
Yes.

I Can't Take This
why are you yelling at me?
do you care?
that i'm just thinking of taking pills,
why bother with this life?
it not getting better,
i have no idea where i be in ten years,
call me crazy,
but this stuff is just too much,
trade places,
go through life being me,
i can't take it,
i have all of this stuff,
but, yet can't fix what i want,
why should i get help?
life is always going to be unfair,
why put up with it?
there no happy ending,
this not a fairy tale,
when are people going to wake up?
i can't deal with this,
i just want to put my life to an end,
people may care,
but, am i just being selfish?
wanting to take life,
because this here,
i call it HELL!

Elysium
Elysium
Elysium, is everyone chipping at your cordiality?
Elysium, you stand ice-bound to the windy casualty
Elysium, is everyone nagging at your reason to believe?
Elysium, you stare down from a mound with such hostility
You said to me now wipe you eyes
Relax your hand and come inside
Lift back your head and swallow your pride
Don't be ashamed in me confide
I've seen you pretend
The happy go lucky
Everything's funky
But in the end
Your manic obsession
Turns to depression
Elysium, is everyone chipping at your cordiality?
Elysium, you stand ice-bound to the windy casualty
Stand back and watch the bright spark fly
To catch a glimpse, don't blink an eye
The touch paper wrapped round your soul
Has been lit, let's go with the flow
Unwrap the gift-box {indecipherable
{indecipherable in your heart and torment in your soul
Eyeballs register overload
Time to wake up, time to break up
Get back in your box
Elysium, is everyone tugging at your idea to be free?
Elysium, to cry out, for you sensibility
Elysium, is everyone chipping at your cordiality?
Elysium, you stand ice-bound to the windy casualty
To the windy casualty
To the windy casualty...

Psalm 50 part 1
v.1-6
C. M.
The last judgment
The Lord, the Judge, before his throne
Bids the whole earth draw nigh,
The nations near the rising sun,
And near the western sky.
No more shall bold blasphemers say,
"Judgment will ne'er begin;"
No more abuse his long delay
To impudence and sin.
Throned on a cloud our God shall come,
Bright flames prepare his way;
Thunder and darkness, fire and storm,
Lead on the dreadful day.
Heav'n from above his call shall hear,
Attending angels come,
And earth and hell shall know and fear
His justice and their doom.
"But gather all my saints," he cries,
"That made their peace with God
By the Redeemer's sacrifice,
And sealed it with his blood.
"Their faith and works, brought forth to light
Shall make the world confess,
My sentence of reward is right,
And heav'n adore my grace."

Pellmell Morning
Woke up with the crow
Crow flew away uncaged
A pell-mell morning, know not how
Like that crow to fly freed
Pell-mell chores, pell-mell errands
Bound and bowed to the pell-mell duties
Pell-mell rise, pell-mell bath, pell-mell pooja
Pell-mell cooking break-fasting on grumbles others'
Running faster after the sun
Soused in sweat a hurry-burry fun
Pell-mell hubbub to school and office wishing
Doubled my eyes and limbs added on my back
Awaiting attention my in-laws
Pain in the neck, poking in or breaking away
My significant maidservant
Very much purposely the dying gas cylinder
More ruthlessly the electricity cut off
Mixie, grinder, microwave, all reposing
Pell-mell jiggles, pell-mell morning, agree?

Sonnet LX: Define My Weal
Define my weal, and tell the joys of Heav'n;
Express my woes, and show the pains of Hell;
Declare what fate unlucky stars have giv'n,
And ask a world upon my life to dwell;
Make known the faith that Fortune could not move;
Compare myu worth with others' base desert;
Let virtue be the touchstone of my love,
So may the heav'ns read wonders in my heart;
Behold the clouds which have eclips'd my sun,
And view the crosses which my course do let;
Tell me if ever since the world begun
So fair a rising had so foul a set,
And see if Time (if he would strive to prove)
Can show a second to so pure a love.
