Wounded Man
I am not a desolate man..nor a lonely man..I am not also a sea port.. where no ships land and shelter..I am not a lighthouse..isolated and left solitary near the sea bare sea rocks..I have enough number of friends...whose value I knew or have not known..forg otten or not forgetten...I have also a spouse...I found in my late years of life..I am just a wounded man...sometimes by you...sometimes by your words..or sometimes by spades or pick axes...at first...a needle had past through my tiny fingers...I do not remember when....when I was just beginning to walk...my sister told me once.... trying to give a sewing machine a caress...Then when I was attending to my boarding school...a pick axe fell on my feet... when we were hunting the locusts in the garden....with my new friends.....years later then...glass pı erced my wrist and lips....I lay in the infirmary for weeks....skipping my lessons...in fact I am not so naughty...just eager to see....be a friend be...just a wounded man...when ı retired as an old grown up man.... I was very stunned...break my left hip bone...falling on a pavement stone....I am not a man alone...when my friends lefty this boring world....one by one....I regret....being alive...living blind and lame...not knowing...where I am going...and destined to....That is what I am....I am not a man desolate and solitary....I am just a tired man...and wounded deeply...mostly the words wound me....especially the words of my friends and special ones hurt me...injure me...deeply and sadly....I) ha ve not chosen this life of mine....what a pity...I will leave it one day some day....wounded and feeling a bit guilty...

Wounded
Well theres a whole lot of hurting being going on
Well Ive been wounded, wounded, wounded
This aint no way to be carrying on
You see me wounded, wounded, wounded
Im taken like a stone
That youve thrown in the deep blue sea
Giving me the scars that will never heal
Wounded, wounded, wounded
I remember the day when you came up to me
Almost breaking on your knees
Said you needed me more than anything else
You really took me in
But itd make you feel good to know
Id do anything you say
Well forget that line cause I aint gonna play
Wounded, wounded, wounded
I remember the day when you came up to me
Almost breaking on your knees
Said you needed me more than anything else
You really took me in
But itd make you feel good to know
Id do anything you say
Well forget that line cause I aint gonna play
Wounded, wounded, wounded

Who Is Your Best Friend?
Everybody needs friends, we all have friends
Some friends are closer to us than our families
If we happen to fall, there are friends to pick us up
What will our life be without friends?
There are many categories of friendship
There are casual friends, bad friends and good friends
The question here is – who is your best friend?
Friends who can turn your tears into laughter
Is your wife your best friend?
I mean the friend you go to
When you need honest advice
Is your husband your best friend?
I mean the friend who knows you
More than you know yourself
Is your brother or sister your best friend?
I mean the friend who always assists you
To solve difficult personal problems
Is your father or mother your best friend?
I mean the friend you feel safe to keep secrets
Are your in-laws your best friend?
I mean the friend you can tell anything
Is your boss or co-worker your best friend?
I mean the friend who can cover you up at work
Is your son or daughter your best friend?
I mean the friend you use as sounding board
For all your confidential and private thoughts
Is your former classmate your best friend?
I mean the friend who cheers you up on bad days
Whoever may be your best friend, remember that
A friend in need is always a friend indeed

When The Running Stops
When the Running Stops
In the enclose, outside the slaughterhouse, sheep were running in rings,
first to the left, and then to the right; in the end there was only one left
and it was too tired to run. I have lost two more friends, feel as I’m
the only sheep left in the enclosure and too tired to run. Heartache and
fun, we had it all in our adolescence. Then our way parted, but you never
forget a childhood friend.
Two years ago I was going to see them, a reunion of school friends going
back fifty years. In the end I didn’t go, knew we would talk a lot first then
fall silent. What we remembered was our friendship then and the past is
another country, as the poet says.
I knew the chasm of years could not be bridged, over meal and too much
wine. One of my friends sent me a photo of the party, a group of old men
I would have walked past in the street and not recognized any of them.
I put the photo up on the wall in my office, but soon took it down again.
Time is a cruel enemy I cry for them and me.

Is this the dark side of the story?
A wounded soldier walks with his gun towards the enemy area.
And he found an enemy wounded soldier with his gun
But no ammunition.
He cried in difficulty; 'Please do not shoot me adjutant as I am helpless.'
Then the other soldier said; 'We are friends now and no doubt about that
But tell me Sergeant where do we go without any hindrance? '
* Really there are no enemies among human beings, all are brother & sister soldiers against the cold war of life.

Friends
Show me your friend
And I can tell your character.
The friends you keep,
Determine your deeds,
Reveal your preferences,
Inform your references.
The friends you move with,
Shape your attitude,
Mold your aptitude,
Decide your future altitude.
Friends are of different types.
They come in different styles.
So be mindful of your picking,
So as not to regret your pick.
Friends can make you,
Friends can break you.
Friends can prop you up,
Friends can pluck you down.
Some friends can further your cause,
Others can cause you your feathers.
What type, are yours?

Wounded Horse
Well I stumbled
And I fell
Like a wounded horse
When I found out
Youd been riding
Another man
Well I staggered
Round in circles
On a losers course
When I found out
Youd been riding
Another man
Well my friends all said
Just climb back in the saddle
And you know that everything will turn out right
Well my friends all said
You wont sink if you paddle
But my ship drifts on into an endless night
Well I bit out
My own tongue
Like a wounded horse
When I found out
Youd been riding
Another man
Well my friends all said
Just climb back in the saddle
And you know that everything will turn out right
Well my friends all said
You wont sink if you paddle
But my ship drifts on into a endless night
Well I bit out
My own tongue
Like a wounded horse
When I found out
Youd been riding
Another man
When I found out
Youd been riding
Another man

A Loner
Dedicated to my beloved and be-offended friends
'I will fight till my last breathe…till I find the meaning behind it...till I feel what I should feel'
A loner took a journey alone
Walked without directions
Just dragged her feet along
Following the wind blows...
In the middle of green land
She found a diamond
Holding it on her hand
Continued the journey with a smile
The journey felt so light n easy
Gave a new spirit and hopes
Walking without tired nor worry
Felt so comfort with it on hand
Walked along the seashore
Found another diamond
A little muddy but still glimpse so beautifully
With a little caress it start sparkles
Holding two diamonds in her tiny hand
Continued the journey with full of glory
Hoping her journey happier and brighter
As shiny as the sparkling diamonds
In the middle of dessert
the diamonds collided, wounded her hand so deeply
Yet she held them tight
Continue her journey with a tighter grasp
Her hand wounded so badly
Bloods ran off through her fingers
Start felt the pain
But she held it even tighter and continued her journey..
In the middle of mountain
Found a beautiful fountain
Washed her hand carefully
Hoping the blood stop bleeding and she continued her journey..
In the top of mountain
Sun gently shine
Open her hand
let the sun lights up the diamonds
They sparkles beautifully
Send a bright light to everything around
World become so calm and peaceful
the loner dedicates it to God and others
She is still a loner, feel lonely in the middle of glory
She is just staring and watching over the diamonds
May one day it give the same feeling
Like it give to others
She is still wondering...
Will the time ever come?

Home Is A Wounded Heart
Words and music by neil diamond
Home is a wounded heart, havent you heard the story?
Hes out for love and for glory and shes waitin home by the fire.
And wasnt it yesterday, wasnt it me who said it?
I swore that youd never regret it.
Now home is a wounded heart.
Its a complicated thing, not an ordinary thing
And my heart just breaks in two
cause I can see you standing there.
You know that I cant bear your wounded heart.
Paint me a red balloon; give me a string and baby Ill tie it,
Give me a ring and baby Ill buy it and bring it on home to you.
Home is a wounded heart.

Too Happy to Fit a Bitterness into My Schedule
Never once,
Did I suggest, hint or insinuate...
Your way of life and outlook,
Was a prefabrication.
You knew my beliefs were different.
And we did not let that become between us,
As friends.
But of late,
You have become more irate.
And you seem to be annoyed,
I am not expressing disappointment...
That you are struggling,
To keep your head above water.
When I faced obstacles on my chosen path.
You laughed.
Expressing no empathy at all.
In fact,
You and your 'friends'...
Would wine and dine,
And socialize without end.
If fact,
You had more time with them to spend.
You then would ignore my calls,
When I needed your company...
As a friend to another.
To say something to me,
In the support of keeping me from not feeling...
Completely lonely.
And this is what you said...
'You made that bed,
Now lay in it by yourself.'
Well...
You made that bed,
Now lay in it by yourself.
You should be comfortable with those words.
But then,
To them I would add...
~Where are those 'friends'?
The ones you chose over me? ~
Am I harborng a bit of bitterness?
No.
Just stating to you what I know to be true.
I'm too happy to fit a bitterness into my schedule.

Friends
In our childhoods days
Together we would play
People said we were inseparable
Like a brother then
My protective friend
He would always take good care of me
Friends thats what we are just
Friends no more or less oh
Here we are sharing so much fun
Friends why cant he see that I want him
To be more than my friend
Years have come and gone
Still our friendships strong
Now hes more than just the boy next door
Im in love with him
Guess Ive always been
He doesnt know hes all Im living for
Friends thats all we are just
Friends so near yet so far from love
And oh the joy that he can bring
Friends why cant he see that I want him
To be more than my friend
Id like to tell him that I need him bad
But Im afraid if I do I might lose
The only friend that I have
Friends thats all we are just
Friends so near yet so far from love and thus
Well always remain friends
Friends why cant he see that I want us
To be more than just friends

A Dream
i saw a dream
with flowers in the garden
with the breeze in a sudden
with the birds singing
with the bees beeeng
i saw a dream
with a beautiful life
having a adorable wife
with a sweet face
in a sensitive case
i saw a dream
a friend was there
still is here
a sweet sister was there
with a caring hand over my hair
i saw a dream
with beautiful thoughts
with a lots of hope
was happy bcoz i have friends
and a sister more than friends
i saw a dream
of complete life
became so much happy
but i forgot its just a dream
will over as soon as i am waking
i saw a dream
is it my fault?
i thought everything mine
but they were in my dream
they were always far from mine
its just a dream
which is now over
i am still here
the stupid innocent flower
the dream is over
nomore bees are there
no breeze is there
no birds are there
the dream is over
i am stunned again
i am alone
noone is here
just me and my lonlyness is here
the dream is over
the relationship is also over
the caring is just now flirting
and the sweet words are now paining
the dream is over
now feeling the truth
the smiling tooth
the sweet thoughts and
the emotional crafts
the dream is over
it was not mine
bcoz i was just a guest there
played some bad innings
and left losing the heart in stead of earning
the dream is over
i am thankful to my friends and sister
now i am over
seeing the tomorrow
planning for the future
hoping not to be a creature
living here and there
dream is over

Wounded, Old And Treacherous
A walk on the quiet side, late in the day --
Don't mean to get in anybody's way.
The gods seem willing: sun's in the sky.
Old crows cawing as the straight crows fly.
There was a time when love was the law.
There was a time for the tooth and the claw.
Last rites given, no holds barred.
Heaven express on my credit card.
Now let me draw the jungle line --
I won't cross yours if you don't cross mine.
Won't make trouble, i don't need no fuss.
But i'm wounded, old and i'm treacherous.
Allow me to draw the jungle line --
You cross it once, you cross some friends of mine.
They won't make trouble, they don't need no fuss
But they're wounded, old and they're treacherous.
In the crisp of evening, on sacred ground --
Ghosts of fathers pushing moonbeams round.
Big cats prowling inside your head --
They left for china; better left for dead.
Let me draw the jungle line --
I won't cross yours if you don't cross mine.
Won't make trouble, i don't need no fuss.
But i'm wounded, old and i'm treacherous.
Living mountains going to shake that town --
Big mother calling you from underground.
She don't want trouble, she don't need no fuss.
But she's wounded, old and treacherous.

Words
Can you feel it when
Your throat dries?
Can you see it in the night sky?
Just a mumble round at tea time
Smile
When Im watching you
When I was a child
We were living in fear
Living in fear
When I was a child
Just a light year from here
Living in fear
Worlds may shatter
Years dont matter
Words came back to haunt you
Worlds may shatter
Years dont matter
Words came back to haunt you
Friends past missing
Reminiscing
Words came back to haunt you
Tolerating propaganda
And your girlfriend, alexandra
With her secret memoranda
Signs
For an interview
Searching for the light
In the world of the blahs
Masquerading as stars
How can this be right?
Youve been going too far
Leaving conscience ajar
Worlds may shatter
Years dont matter
Words came back to haunt you
Friends past missing
Reminiscing
Words came back to haunt you
When I was a child
We were living in fear
Living in fear
Worlds may shatter
Years dont matter
Words came back to haunt you
Worlds may shatter
Years dont matter
Words came back to haunt you
Friends past missing
Reminiscing
Words came back to haunt you
Worlds may shatter
Years dont matter
Words came back to haunt you
Friends past missing
Reminiscing
Words came back to haunt you

Perfect and Past
Never was the perfect girlfriend
you told me
Looking the part
though seldom acting it
you proclaimed innocence
for the stolen kisses
and 2 in the morning
late night call
'I'm not your past! ! '
you told me
in hurt
wounded
indignation
'We just good friends! ! '
you told me then
demoting me to same
We still talk
though only at your
time and leisure
and in that way
its
almost
like we never
really
parted.

Friends Will Be Friends
Words and music by freddie mercury and john deacon
Another red letter day
So the pound has dropped and the children are creating
The other half ran away
Taking all the cash and leaving you with the lumber
Got a pain in the chest
Doctors on strike what you need is a rest
Its not easy love but youve got friends you can trust
Friends will be friends
When youre in need of love they give you care and attention
Friends will be friends
When youre through with life and all hope is lost
Hold out your hands cos friends will be friends right till the
End
Now its a beautiful day
The postman delivered a letter from your lover
Only a phone call away
You tried to track him down but somebody stole his number
As a matter of fact
Youre getting used to life without him in your way
Its so easy love cos you got friends you can trust
Friends will be friends
When youre in need of love they give you care and attention
Friends will be friends
When youre through with life and all hope is lost
Hold out your hands cos friends will be friends right till the

Think Twice
Words once spoken
Can never be erased
Though when written
Can be deleted from any page
The thought you once said
Can be for a lifetime
Resulting to a distance
Between someone’s life
The only thing then we will regret
Is how to change
The things we have said
Hurting words no one deserves
Soars bitterness
How can we mend
Is there a second chance
To right a wrong
How can you heal a wounded soul
The reality of life
Is we can’t undo the past
So think twice of the words
That come from your mouth
So you won’t break someone’s heart

Friends With You
What a friend we have in time
Gives us children, makes us wine
Tells us what to take or leave behind
And the gifts of growing old
Are the stories to be told
Of the feelings more precious than gold
Friends I will remember you, think of you
Pray for you
And when another day is through
Ill still be friends with you
Babies days are never long
Mothers laugh is babys song
Gives us all the hope to carry on
Friends I will remember you, think of you
Pray for you
And when another day is through
Ill still be friends with you
Friends I will remember you,
Think of you, pray for you
And when another day is through
Ill still be friends with you
Friends I will remember you,
Think of you, pray for you
And when another day is through
Ill still be friends with you

Bond Of Friendship
For JoAnn and Meggie
Sometimes friends think
they’ve dragged you down,
when it isn’t that way at all.
As you talk to them on lonely nights,
they light a candle in your heart to show you the way.
That isn’t dragging you down,
but picking you up from the place to which you fell.
These friends mean so much to you
that you miss them when they are not there.
Their bond of friendship
is like the bond of marriage
that ties one another together
through thick and thin.
You feel sad when they think they’ve hurt you.
So, I’m telling you my friends
and the entire world to see.
There is nothing you can do
to ever hurt me the way you think you do.
There is only one way
you could ever hurt me
and that is saying a few simple words
like you don’t want to be
my friend anymore.
