Shadow Of Shame
The say: 'it is in the eyes that truth is discerned';
Perhaps nostalgia was the ruse that blinded me-
And that I did not see, is a painful lesson learned!
There were not-so-subtle signs, that should have reminded me
That all is not always as it may seem;
Alas, I may not undo the tragedy of my past,
But, I may learn, to the benefit of my own redeem,
That the shadow of shame, does not, upon me, cast!
My shadow is yet to be fully defined,
Yet, sikerly, shall include righteous indignation,
Mistrust, and anguish, somehow combined.
Though, I will say, without a moment's hesitation,
I am a better man, in the wake of this travesty-

A Film To Sea
Far away in the distance,
a shadow cast upon the sea.
Upon arriving closer,
that shadow bled a travesty.
Hundreds of fish lay still,
a film upon the water.
A sad displeasing sight to view,
sad for me, sad for you.

Whithin Another Man's Shadow
Is not the same
To be in the Shadow,
Than to be the Shadow itself…
For you can move away from the Shadow
Towards the light
But, the shadows could not do
The same,
For it no longer will be the shadow…
Now it is painful and hard for me
To convince myself
That it is NOT what I thought
It could be…
Worse than anything else,

Me And My Shadow
Sometimes, my shadow appears really short and small;
Whilst, at others, it stretches ahead of me, thin and tall.
Sometimes, my shadow is behind me; sometimes it’s in front.
Quite often, for my shadow, I find myself having to hunt.
Depending on how the street lamps shine their light,
My shadow may be hidden, or may be within my sight.
Sometimes, I have two shadows, plus me;
Then I appear in triplicate: one, two, three.
Sometimes, when I take my time, my shadow seems to rush;
My shadow dances round me, amid the dark night’s hush.
When I wander through an unlit patch, my shadow disappears;
Although I cannot see it for a moment, I know that it is still near.
As I emerge back into the light, I’m rejoined by my shadow.
My best buddy and I are very firmly attached, down at the toe.
My shadow is featureless; of me, it’s just a darkened outline.
During my night-time journey, it’s an ever changing design.
To my shadowy friend, I do feel really very attached.
We are two of a kind, and, I think, very well matched.
My shadow and I, travel everywhere together;
From each other, we will never ever be severed.

Why Would I Seek Limits?
I'm a mammal not to be seen on a mantel like a candle,
With a flicker to blow out.
Or...
Cast a shadow to be seen,
In a darkened house.
Or peeping out of windows,
Caged up like a frightened mouse.
Not me,

Moment In Time
there was a time i loved your face,
i loved your smile,
i loved your everything
and suddenly my world crashed in million peaces,
i hated your face, i hated your smile,
i hated your everything,
as the time passed i learned to live with it,
learned to see your face,
learned to see you smile,
yet your smile was never the same,
i know there is something missing,
that shadow over your face is something new,
but where is the shine in your eyes i used to see,
i used to love, it is not in your eyes,
that shadow stole it,
that shadow which is all over your face, what is it?
i'd like to know will i ever see a smile i loved,
or was it just a dream, a moment in time i got lost in
, and i never found way out, i tried to find it
but i know now that i'm lost forever in that short moment
, now i beg you to show me the way out
or i'll never love anyones face or any other smile
, please let me out of that prison of your eyes,
let me be free from your smile,
i need to get out i need to see the light again,
this shadows are killing me,
let me go or move the shadows away
and keep me forever locked in your smile,
in your eyes and in your heart
Shadows Thinning Out
you all know
that the shadow thins out at noontime
at high noon
the shadow and the body become one
there is no more speculation
about why the shadow and the body are different
on extreme light
you see the truth casting no shadows of doubt
something false flashes not shadow
at this moment

There Is No Point On Knocking Against Someone's Head
When something thought common,
But not understood by some.
How long should anyone spend,
Giving time for them to fully comprehend?
How important is it if these folks don't 'get it'?
When something has to move on...
It has to move on!
When a lesson thought taught,
Doesn't teach a thing at all.
Who is responsible for the one...
Who remains dribbling in a bib,
And continues to dropp the ball?
Does someone need to feel a pain,
To know what it is like to feel it?
Yes!
And that is why it is best,
To let someone digest a life test!
It is their experience to either get...
Or not 'get' to 'wake up' with it.
See the clock?
Hear the ticking and the tock?
And there is no point on knocking against someone's head.
Even if they appear to have vital signs of life.
When actually what is inside...
Apparently thrives on remaining dead!
Skip this nonsense.
Unless you are a doctor,
With incredible patience.
Knock your own knuckles against a wall,
If you must apply an anguish!
At least something with determination,
Has been done by you with accomplishment.
And without delaying a moment of hesitation!
Be done with it!
Now your concentration,
Is centered quickly somewhere else.
No pain...
No gain!

Well...

Shadow children, thin and small,
Now the day is left behind,
You are dancing on the wall,
On the curtains, on the blind.
On the ceiling, children, too,
Peeping round the nursery door,
Let me come and play with you,
As we always played before.
Let's pretend that we have wings
And can really truly fly
Over every sort of things
Up and up into the sky.
