There was a time when there was nothing at al
Nothing at all, just a distant hum
There was a being and he lived on his own
He had no one to talk to, and nothing to do
He drew up the plans, learnt to work with his hands
A million years passed by and his work was done

Then

Sometimes the hidden secrets, just come out
How they come out is never known.
The ones who are closer to us, reveal our feelings
Ones which we never want to reveal, also get exposed
Nothing remains hidden as our feelings, do get revealed in some way
The things we want to hold within us, also do find an outlet
Even though we never want to let the feelings be known
Then so many emotions get disjointed
Trusting becomes impossible to do
Unworkable, is what everything becomes

A book called life

You find a book. a book unopened for some time. binding worn, title aged and not legible. you open it to find it dusty and blank. it has sat untouched for a quite a while. this book is the story of you. a story not yet written, but exciting non the less. a story to be one of epic, and legend. a story to be passed down for generations. that will be stamped into the pages of history and inspire forever. we all have a story, we simply need to write it.

The Gift of Faith

It is said, “Faith is a gift from above,
God-given to those who believe”.
In fact, Faith is to all mankind given,
But for some it remains hidden
In the recesses of the mind
Until they seek it and find
That it is, indeed, God-given.

Faith is often discovered
After some anguish and doubt;
But whichever way is followed
That way is lit by its light.
No one has gone astray
Who sought to find a way
To uncover a gift so great.

But how does one make a start,
And seek a gift hidden from sight,
When there are no signs to mark
A way where all around is dark?

Here is a useful suggestion:
Take the highway of persuasion,
Never the by-way of refutation,
Don’t deride the Faith of another,
Nor dismiss Faith altogether,

Never cease from seeking,
Or ever despair of finding
The goal of your search,
The gift within your reach.

There are so many things that I dont understand

A Hidden Bard

Anyanwu, Ihekaire, Onyema, Onyeka, Onuwa, Igbokwe and Akalonu;
The roll call from my past to tell you a story;
Chikwe, Nwagbraocha, Chioma, Obidike, Uchebulem and Nnkiru;
I am the hidden bard to all of you;
But my presence is untold for a reason.
My hand is the handmade of the Creator but,
Do take me to 'Umueze' to look for my lover;
For, i am from Ikeduru.

I am the hidden bard to you people,
And from Umueme to Umuehihe to tell you a story;
For i lost my identity to the Bushmen some years ago.
From Umumkpe to Amamba,
And from Umuagwu to Umualumaku;
Of the floating faces of my identities lost in the drain,
But today i am in thwe rain telling you this story.

The hidden bard,
The mind of a floating bag at sea;
For many are they who ares till searching for me,
But my love is what they need to seek for.
I am real and living among them but,
For how long should i spell out my name for them?

Time Will Come

All this time has come and gone.
I can't help but wonder when my time will come.
The days drag on, I'm all alone.
I search and search but it's never done.
Will I ever find that speacial soul?
Who'll love me through and make me whole.
I need then now.
I'm feeling blue.
I need their love to pull me through.
I'm feeling weak from this endless search.
I pray to God to end this hurt.

I take my life one day at a time
So many dreams that come and go in my mind

Theres a light in the sky that hangs on the edge of illusion
