How sweetly writ this play
This tale of a found devotion
A heart which soon discovers
It has been blind to the realisation
Of how one already so well known
Yet often sadly unnoticed
Is to be a new loves beginning
How beautifully fair it speaks
To love and romance each word
The eye which finally saw
All that had been missed in days gone
Was as once dreamt beautiful
And so in dedication to such love
A devotion began to serve
That which was to be written
A play of a tale named elation

One Day
One day, you will love me, as I do, you:
You will see the beautiful unity in us that I do!
One day, your heart's guard shall see its release:
Then you shall live in a magnificent, loving peace!
One day may come in the morrow, or perhaps in a year-
Its imminence is the only part that is not crystal clear!
It is this-the 'one day', for which I hold fast,
The day where my life shall truly begin, at long last!
The Book says: love is patient, love is kind-
These profoundly simple words do but serve to remind
Of the depths of my devotion to the same-
Love is not love, whence you need hasten its flame!
One day, you shall see all the beauty inherent in me,
Yet first, you need be wise to the beauty inherent in thee!
Look through mine own eyes, there you shall see clearly
Why you are my most beloved Angel, that I covet most dearly:
Explication defies mere word, yet through mine eyes, it doth obviate;
Once you attain privity to same, then only shall you appreciate
All that you truly mean-both, to and for me-
A truly foreign sensation-I am humbled before thee!
One day, your grace shall inherit its beatitude-
Your love in return shall be proper gratitude;
I seeketh thee, only because I simply must,
At last, I found the one, in which I may entrust
My mind, my heart and indeed, my soul-

I tried to give you love

Tears On The Beach
Sitting on the sand gazing at the ocean
Not even a ripple, no type of motion.
It was like my heart, dormant as can be.
So still, so silent waiting patiently.
You said that you loved me
And another there can never be.
But you had a roving eye
Something I did not see.
How easy it is for you to turn on emotions
But to any one person, you have no devotion.
So I just sit here with heavy thoughts and heavy heart
Wondering how we must part.
Your outer beauty attracts people to you
Like a flower attracts a bee
But what you hide deep within
No one person can see.
How is it that love can be so beautiful
And yet so blind, that to recognize it
Takes quite some time.
So I sit here on the sand, with my heart
Held in my hand.
Looking to throw it into the ocean
In hopes that it can wash away the pain
And my utter devotion.

Confusion writhes around our hearts impatiently
It drains the faith that lights the dark and sets us free
From the chains of our war and the pain we once called love
The poison of doubt enslaves our minds and we bleed

When a man loves a woman, there is nothing he won't do;
He is vested with the strength to move mountains-it's true!
Whence found, true love allows that all his actions be toward one goal-
All a man truly wants is the one magical mate for his all-too-mysterious soul!

What is this come to pain, hearts affections
A word named love by many tongues

I have loved and found loving kind
Until I found myself waiting
And the waiting never seemed to end
The love I felt grew on my soul
Weighted me to this earth
Till I could not stomach it anymore
And looked to cut myself free
