People think of these eureka moments and my feeling is that they tend to be little things, a little realisation and then a little realisation built on that.

A Heart Began To Sing

How quiet the night
When love came knocking
How sudden the realisation
Of that which had not been seen
Yet always had been there to see
How strange and familiar
This new feeling became
Seduced into something beautiful
A heart began to sing
So natural and perfectly free
Words of joy and such delight
Words of hope to fill a life
How pretty the eye looked on
Into beauty and into a dream
Into the soul without fear
For joy and happiness found
When love came knocking
On the realisation
It was always there

A Gift you give Yourself....

Forgiving,
Becomes easy,

Once we realise
Its a waste of energy...

The realisation
Of our own imperfection,

Leads to transformation
Of mental formations...

Heals our fragile ego
And we let go.

To empower,
Water flowers.

With this insight
Inflamed passions take flight...

you exclaim,
Ah, peace reclaimed...

Forgiving is to offer,
no resistance to life...

Or else life,
Is full of strife...

Some transgressions
Are meant for self REALISATION

There is a divine plan...
so judge not or condemn.

Ideas must be put to the test. That's why we make things, otherwise they would be no more than ideas. There is often a huge difference between an idea and its realisation. I've had what I thought were great ideas that just didn't work.

To take an analogy: if we say that a democratic government is the best kind of government, we mean that it most completely fulfills the highest function of a government - the realisation of the will of the people.

I think it's linked to the realisation that we're not going to live forever and that the way of saying and the language become more important than the story.

A demons return

A demons return
~
I hear their scratching
At the metaphorical walls I’ve built
Their voices spitting into the air
Poisonous words to ignite
That flame of madness within me
Already strange to the world
Somewhat distant is said
That is not the half of it
That is not even close to understanding
The is a darker realisation
A more blood thirsty situation
A demon within a soul
The price of creation
Was the mind now long lost
The breaking of mortar
As the scratching grows louder
Barricade with what I ask
And none, none do answer
Alone I listen with fear
I hear their scratching
At the metaphorical walls I built
The demons are returning

I Know My Problems! (Revised)

They create TV series showing people under
emotional stress continuing their work - well,
according to books people do that, probably -
ideally - but I can't, I can't do a thing

Reality is unbearably powerful and big, my
alternative universe is small, unreachable, high
hopes I had of being able to deal with this day
evaporates under that heady realisation

No problem at home has been resolved, only
clearly labelled, painstakingly filed - for later
attention - meantime, I have work on my
desk - yet my mind refuses

To complete circuits required to bring about
logical thinking, looking up things and writing
down lines; but at least I know my problems
are psychological

Sun Is Black

I say sun is black
You say white
World rope is tight
Everybody is in his might.

I say my poem is not for laugh
Unless you cry my poem no use
You cry with realisation
You have done nothing
And lost everything.

The universal spirit is waiting to crown us with happiness, but our individual spirit would not accept it.

I Hate Lucy

I met her one blurry New Years eve
She who would hang as a glorious ornament, from your sleeve
Back in those times of hours, no sand
I can picture her (now grasping) your lovely hand
She was tall and elegant
Two credits i am not
Flawless skin with a smile that niggled my spot
Legs which reached nearly my belly button urrrr
And gosh i really hated her....

Dressed in finery which enhanced her look
Me in my drunken state easily mistook
That this devine creature with teeth glowing pearls
Was just a mere friend and glorious golden curls

And i liked her....
And she made us smile
She was just so perfect
Your ex
Beguiled
The one with whom you shared your very first kiss
The one who had what i could only wish
And boy did i get bloody cross
When realisation did muddle my moss

Outside i screamed in frustration
When realisation hit
Only glad Id not earlier realised that
It
Was she, your first love the one which you shared
Afternoons delighted
Stroking lovely Lucy's hair

Yet refined as sopping sugar
Easily duped
I glad over the moon
That i never stooped
To an outburst
As i am so short i may of been drowned
In the jealous throws of love
Im a silly cow!

No Sorry Please

No sorry please.
Sorry does not fill up
the wounds you
made in anger.

No realisation
no rependance
anger will not go
sorryforry does not work.

Be normal
control emotion
If possible
write a poem
in your defence
all set right then.

Waving to moments passing by

Moments happy moments
people think about them
people write about them
people talk about them
people hope about them
I see moments
lots of moments
but I wave to my moments
as they pass me by...

My life is a ship
on an Ocean deep
passing by is the ship 'Could've been'
it holds all my moments in its keep
I stand on my lifes deck
waving to moments till they're just a speck

Moments happy moments
people live them
people grab them
people make them
people savour them
but I wave to my moments
as they pass me by...
Goodbye 'Could've been'
Goodbye moments...

Sonnet- The World Today(7)

In world beset with problems numerous,
We tend to live an ignominious life;
And everywhere, things look so glamorous,
The downtrodden are put to immense strife.

The family-size has dropped to below three;
And many people tend to being gay;
Life’s sense of values is all gone surely;
And people tend to live thus anyway.

No one is sure to be alive next day;
Most people madly go after money;
‘We are the gods and goddesses’, some say;
All things look crazy in our society.

To where the world is heading at this rate?
God only can are suff’ring’s mitigate.

Much A Melancholy Man

Made a melancholy man
By years of self abuse
By years of regrets
Drunken nights nursing
Missed opportunities
Nights placing the blame
At the feet of others
To starve the admission
Of ones own failings
Haunted now by knowledge
And a gloomy realisation
That sadness wears well
And seems to suit the day
And somehow without trying
Things fall apart with ease
A self saboteur to speak
Accidentally achieving
All that can be described as
A melancholy life
