The garden

The garden is a living cell
A Monet' of colour
and still reflection!

Its life is onwards moving…
But still like the sun
forever in dusk or dawn:

A theatre of hearts
beating as one!
An applauds of petals
Scented; in love.

The garden is a river…
a place of worship
a place to espy
a good time to die.

Beat Of Love

This is for the ones
That like to party till dawn
And the beat wont stop
Till the last one drops
And the people wont stay
If the dj dont play
This if for the ones
Who like to really have fun
And the bad girls do
What the bad boys want to
And the good girls dont
And the good guys really want to
But theyre scared
Whats the world without a beat of love
I dont know but its no place of mine
And that place Ill never be
Whats the world without a beat of love
I dont know cause my hearts beating fine
Thumpin bumpin
This is for the old
And the new school too
From the beat box sands
To the hip hop waste land
From the house of blues
To the jazzy and the cool
This is for the world
Or wherever you are
On the sun or moon
Or in between those two
You are never too far
To connect with all of us
From which you stand
Whats the world without a beat of love
I dont know but its no place of mine
And that place Ill never be
Whats the world without a beat of love
I dont know cause my hearts beating fine
Thumpin bumpin
Whats the world without a beat of love
I dont know but its no place of mine
And that place Ill never be be
Whats the world without a beat of love
I dont know cause my hearts beating fine
And it beats on time
This is for the year
And the years to come
So lets celebrate
And let us elevate our fellow mankind
Its purposive love through others
Human waste
Whats the world without a beat of love
I dont know but its no place of mine
And that place Ill never be
Whats the world without a beat of love
I dont know cause my hearts beating fine
Thumpin bumpin
Whats the world without a beat of love
I dont know but its no place of mine
And that place Ill never be be
Whats the world without a beat of love
I dont know cause my hearts beating fine

Where the passion flower grows

Lay down on your pillow
and turn the lights down low
let me take you to the garden
where the passion flower grows

Close your eyes and enter dreams
as love's emotion sets the scene
and flitters through the garden
where the passion flower grows

Touch the tender petals
of the flower as she grows
a tentative endeavour
as your feelings overflow

Let me draw you to the place
where ecstasy can be embraced
the beauty of the garden
where the passion flower grows

Feel your mind exploding
in the heavy scented air
experience the shiver
as your captured unaware

A little touch of heaven
where imagination flows
the valley in the garden
where the passion flower grows.

Nature Trail

At the bottom of my garden
There's a hedgehog and a frog
And a lot of creepy-crawlies
Living underneath a log,
There's a baby daddy long legs
And an easy-going snail
And a family of woodlice,
All are on my nature trail.

There are caterpillars waiting
For their time to come to fly,
There are worms turning the earth over
As ladybirds fly by,
Birds will visit, cats will visit
But they always chose their time
And I've even seen a fox visit
This wild garden of mine.

Squirrels come to nick my nuts
And busy bees come buzzing
And when the night time comes
Sometimes some dragonflies come humming,
My garden mice are very shy
And I've seen bats that growl
And in my garden I have seen
A very wise old owl.

My garden is a lively place
There's always something happening,
There's this constant search for food
And then there's all that flowering,
When you have a garden
You will never be alone
And I believe we all deserve
A garden of our own.

In the Garden, With My Father

It is spring.
As in my garden, I stand.
In the garden -
My father is there;
... though long since gone...
He IS there.
I tend to the weeds,
The veggies and flowers...
He is there.

I never understood him
(as I should have, could have) ...
Until now,
Here, in the garden.
Where I, like he, work the soil.
I've come just recently
(these last few years)
To enjoy and love my garden so.
- I am not as surprised afterall, as I would have thought,
To find him here.
Here, in the garden.
He loved his garden very much.......
I - at that early age of restless youth - had no use
For such slow moving things.

But now, I see, and myself move, at a much slower pace.
Therefore, it is him I am here and now able to see,
In the garden.
Watching it all grow, so peacefully.

It is somewhat sad, that now,
When I can no longer tell him,
I understand.
For I have come to find... I love the garden too,
Just as much as he;
And we both always will.
My father - standing in the garden -
I now know.
After all these long years.
And I've missed him so;
But, how wonderful to find,
He IS here...
In the garden, our garden,
Always, with me.

Our Marriage Is Our Garden

Our marriage is our garden.
I want our garden to be beautiful.
With lush green grass,
With fragrant and colourful flowers.
A place of solace.
A place of peace.
A place of love.
Our garden must be watered.
Not watered too much.
As that would saturate the ground.
Not watered too little.
As that would leave the plants wilted.
And our grass barren.
But regularly.
So the flowers can stand tall
It must be weeded.
It must be maintained.
It must be loved.
We will plant seeds in our garden.
For new life makes any garden more beautiful and diverse.
We can harvest the fruit trees, but our harvest is limited
If we eat all the fruit too quick,
Then we must wait until the next harvest to eat again.
If we don't pick the fruit when it is right, it will spoil.
Our harvest is for our family.
If I eat all the fruit myself, then they will starve.
If we eat too much we will get sick.
If we eat what we are supposed to, then we will be healthy.
If we do not monitor the fruit,
Then someone might eat more than their share.
If we do not stand guard in our garden,
A thief might come into the garden to steal our fruit.
The fruit for our family.
For their garden must be barren and their crops have spoiled.
Our garden will stand the test of all seasons.
As all gardens do.
Another garden will also experience the same seasons.
Just at different times.
All gardens face rain.
All gardens get sun.
It is the rain that nourishes the garden and helps it's life to grow.
But our garden must be maintained regularly.
Only artificial things require no maintenance.
The artificial has no life.
It is fake, it is plastic.
Our garden needs to be real.
So life may grow and continue to grow.
So one day our children can enjoy a garden of their own.
For them and their children.
May their garden be overflowing with life and love.
And be the most beautiful garden in the world.

The Garden

Like a Garden we flourish
With colour and life
Each of us different
Each of us bright
The petals of colours
Flutters in the breeze
As we reach for the sky’s
Full of life full of dreams
The sunshine’s down
Upon the garden of life
Spreading its warmth
To give us more life
Making us want nothing
Just being content in the sun
We grow and we spread
Our petals to bloom
Sending out pollen
To cultivate our seeds
As we grow in the warmth
Of our loving god’s embrace

Two Hearts One Love

You are the moonlight I am the stars
Together we light up the night
You are the passion I am the flame
We are both one and the same
I am the taker you are the chance
This is the rule of romance
I am the seeker you are the find
Together we are two of a kind
Two hearts one love beating together
I am yours you are mine
Two hearts one love always forever
Standing the test of time
I can be happy you can be sad
Together things arent so bad
You are the sailor I am the sea
The treasure of eternity
Two hearts one love beating together
I am yours you are mine
Two hearts one love always forever
Standing the test of time
Here we are the two of us
Nothing in our way
Wanting you wanting me
Everyday
Two hearts one love beating together
I am yours you are mine
Two hearts one love always forever
Standing the test of time
You are the passion I am the flame
We are both one and the same
Two hearts one love beating together
I am yours you are mine
Two hearts one love always forever
Standing the test of time
Two hearts one love beating together
I am yours you are mine
Two hearts one love always forever
Standing the test of time

Yes I Can

so they say that a man
cant live in this world
if he's wearing his heart on his sleeve
i can
and they say that a man
cant understand
what a woman needs when she cries
i can
i can
and i can see you standing
in the yard
tending the rosas in your garden
the sun is shining
through your cotton dress
and i will freeze this moment
here in time
i could live forever
in your garden
oh, yes
yes i can
the fool dosent know
what he's missin the most
its a ______ and a place to be in
here i am
how would i know
i could give up the ghost
and still hold all your dreams in my hand
here i am
here i am
and i can see you standing
in the yard
tending the rosas in your garden
the wind is blowing
through your golden hair
and i will freeze this moment
here in time
i could live forever
in your garden
oh, yes
yes i can
and i can see her standing
in the yard
tending the rosas in your garden
the sun is shining
through your cotton dress
and i will freeze this moment
here in time
i could live forever

oh, yes

Now Is A Good Time

Now is a time to say to someone I love you
When you see him or she
Now is a good time to celebrate who you were born to be
Now is the good time to say forgiveness to someone that you hurt in the past and move on with your life
Now is a good time to put money for your retirement away
So you can have a pension
Now it is a good time to learn to love yourself
Now it is a good time to discover what you love to do
Now it is a good time to worship God
Now it is a good time to pray for the people of the world
Now it is a good time to lend a hand in the community
Now it is a good time to write your feelings in your note book
Now it is a good time to plant the seeds in the garden so that they Come up during the summer
Now it is a good time to celebrate life

When It Comes

when it comes
it comes
and i am ready
to go

what place is that
i do not really know

but it is definite
there is no coming back

when will i see you again?
i will never know

you see, i realize
everything has always been

uncertain
what they give us was

exactly the opposite
of what is here with us

everything has always been
an image of what is

and what ought to be
was not what was ever done

you see i am leaving this place
without regret

you see this is not my place
that is not really my house

that is not my garden
and that tree had never been mine

even from the moment
when i planted it as a seed

that flower that i love
i only touch for a while

its petals fall from my fingers
and then what i have is nothing

but a stem and a leaf
and this old ruined self

Same Place, Same Time

Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time

The coffee’s hot
And the company is good
Conversation flows, as it should
A joke or two
And when all is said and done
We’re right back to where we begun

Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time

These crowded streets
I balance tight roped on the curb
Car screeches past, a scream is heard
De ja vu
Yes I’ve been here before
Time moves slowly as traffic stalls

Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time

Break

It was good
You were sublime
I’m so glad that we spent the time
Time is short
What we have is rare
Love is oxygen with you there

Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time

This Mighty Wanderer

Standing on a cliff overlooking the sea
I stare out at the restless waters below,
slowly moving in and out
with each incoming and receding tide.
Like a nomad ever seeking
a new place to rest its head.
Its colours always changing
under the rays of the sun,
wandering restlessly forever
from dawn to dusk,
dusk to dawn
in its never-ending travels
in this worldwide.
This mighty wanderer
only comes to shore
at the incoming tide.

Come Tend My Garden

Come to my garden Teacher.
The birds of my heart have long since flown,
And the silence tween the mottled boughs has leaden grown.
In the sunrise be the chorus of mornings' glory,
And in the noon tell of Dionysus' story.
In the night be the whistling gale,
Whisper in my ear of some furtive dale.

Come to my garden Teacher.
Scarce the lavender and the rosemary on the breeze,
Rarer now gripped in winter's freeze.
Scented memories, they warm me sometimes in the eve,
Jasmine and honey in foreign winds on exotic leave.
Heady the breath and quick its draw,
Drinking it in, its addiction no flaw.

Come to my garden Teacher.
Overgrown and unknown, bring your fingers there
And burrow neath the weeds among Angels' Hair.
White is the colour of the petals in my soul unfurled;
The oceans of your eyes I drink from chalices pearled,
Slake the thirst of my arrid land,
Spring anew life in rock and sand.

Come to my garden Teacher.
Dim the eyes and dim the skys o'erlooking here,
Yet radient in brilliance your fiery hair.
Weave strands among the pathways bare
And notice by evening some flowers rare.
On my chest lay a river of molten gold,
Come teacher, let us grow old.

Care For One Another..

Look at the hearts only,
Beating inside punctually,
as the stars majestically,
One above other vertically,
Hearts are beating vibrantly.
One above the other in high rise,
hearts toil with no surprise,
as the galaxies and constellations,
Hearts are beating horizontally,
Few hearts in big space,
Many hearts in small place,
as the diamonds twinkle in space,
Hearts are found in the ocean,
Hearts are there in the mountains,
Hearts are loitering in the jungles,
Hearts are beating in places,
as the planted gems above us,
Daring hearts are weak,
Weaker hearts are strong,
Most hearts are healthy,
Run and work in safety,
A few suffer and are sickly,
Clogged with fat and heavy,
Rich and poor man's hearts,
Educated and uneducated hearts,
Good and evil hearts,
Agnostic and spiritual hearts,
Healthy and sick hearts,
Beat everywhere to show,
That we care for one another,
and we love one another,
as we look at the stars,
the stars look at our hearts.

Sonnet: All Things on Earth Have a Natural Place

Each thing on earth must be, where it should be;
Ectopic makes it weird and dangerous;
A lion ought to be in forest free!
It cannot do whatev’r a house-cat does!

A cage is not the place for bird or beast;
A cell is not the home for any man;
One’s freedom should not be curbed in the least;
An animal that’s caged has less life-span!

A garden-rose must grow in gardens good;
It should not stand amidst the grasses wild;
The forest is the place for cedar-wood;
A garbage-dump is cruel for a child!

The place aright for family is house;
The place ideal is home for any spouse!

Early Morning Thoughts

early morning thoughts
as warm as the rising sun
as beautiful as the temporary
dew on the leaves
of the red petals of the rose
in the garden
time becomes a luxury
time that pass and
does not come back
does not wait
you stop
and reflect upon those thoughts
that stand by
like passengers of the bus
going to a faraway
place on an unknown destination
you become that bus
and you let them all in
filled
and heavy you start the engine
and go
and forget that you
are a farmer in the garden
and not the driver
of this bus on an unknown destination
you account for each
you stare at their faces
and begin to ask
their names
the place where they come from
the loves of their lives
their misfortunes
and the reason why they are alive
why they want to go away
why the want
to die
you grieve and send the sighs to sky
and then
you send them all away
you write.

In the spring garden

In the spring garden
~
In the spring garden
Birds sing and chatter
While flowers raise their heads
To greet the morning sun
A garden filled with colour bright
A garden which now fills with life
The bee and the butterfly hover
From flower to flower gathering nectar
Seeding the flowers blossom
Throughout the spring garden
The dew glistens upon the grass
While the wind gently rolls in the tree
All the world slowly waking
Soon to this bounty of great beauty
Every hue from natures pallet
Is here free for all to see
In the spring garden

Delphiniums Of Blue

Come follow me down the garden path,
Past the flowerbeds, planted neat.
Around the sweetbriar's scented hedge,
To the old carved wooden seat.

A tranquil arbour, where within its shade,
Lies a sheltered quiet place.
We'll hear music from the singing birds,
And let our eyes embrace.

There's clematis along the grey stone wall,
There's a maple's vivid hue.
Pots of red and pink geraniums,
And delphiniums of blue.

The pond's azure sky, mirror image,
Under which the goldfishes play.
Elegant water lilies with their floating leaves,
Recall a painting by Monsieur Monet.

This garden is a treasure and a blessing,
Just to wander in between the flowers,
To feel an informality and a freedom,
Whilst whiling away the hours.

Hold my hand and we will silently marvel,
At the beauty that nature can wear.
In this bower that's so hidden and secluded,
We'll start our secret love affair.

A blossom

As it Blooms in silence
I was truly allured
a flower's humble beauty
her future ensured
exceptional glamor I spotted
in this lovely garden of her.

Rain fall softly on her petals
it fell down slowly light as feather
the shimmering and sparkling
of the thick and dripping humid;
condensing in every bud
in this lovely garden of her.

The blurry vision of early dawn fog,
the charming rays of peeking sun,
those silencing sounds of earth
makes most sense of elegance
in this lovely garden of her.

The wind blowing in rhythm
setting free the dancing pecks
the melody of the ambiance,
the sweet smell of honey-nectar,
the aroma of her sincerity
that brings all my joy,
draws every smile in my face
each day of my life
in this lovely garden of her.

Yet there came a time the wind blew hard
Drought came fast and wither starts
little by little her throat seized
grasping her breath she naught fought.

The skies turned black and lights blinks fast
then her crave they overfed to death
overhead came the water dark
'None could ever survive'
They proven wrong...
For the dusk end and the night came
The moon came yet not to help
the tide higher he hath even made..
Alas! Dawn breaks& moon withdraws
The sun came and peek again
in this lovely garden of her...

There the earth witness her wilt
yet new life brought by rain and shine..
a humble blossom in joy and gloom
a story in cycle in this lovely garden of her...

Two Hearts Beating As One

Magical moments of pure sweet passion
Flutters within my hearts devotion
Two hearts beating they know it's just right
The beat grows stronger then fades in the night.

Hungry for your heart beating with mine
Longing to be with you all the time
The miracle of the beat drawing us closer
Two hearts beating within one another.

You saved me a place within your heart
Letting me stay never to part
Two hearts beating strong and true
Two hearts beating as one, not two.
