The Earth

A pale blue dot caught in a beam of light
A palace of ravishing greenery
A harmonious symphony of life
A perpetual puzzle of land and sea

A place where volcanoes vomit lava
A place where hurricanes swarm
A place where tornadoes gyrate
And yet creates itself again

The Earth

A place of ambitions
A place of emotions
A place of cruelty
A place of poverty

This is the Earth
GOD's little stage of mortality
A gateway to utopia
A gateway to immortality

Hang On To Your Emotions

When your imagination has too much to say
When the chill of the night meets the sweat of the day
And you have trouble understanding what other people have to say
Youd better
Hang on to your emotions, hang on to your emotions
When a demagogue inside your head has taken charge
And by default what you say or do is criticized
And this litany of failures is recited a thousand times
Youd better
Hang on to your emotions, hang on to your emotions
Could it be youve never felt like that
That your minds a cage - inside the cage a cat
That spits and scratches all it can get at
And thats you, and your emotions
Could it be youve never felt like that
Your minds a cage - inside the cage a rat
Rabidly trying to get it, you
And your emotions, you and your emotions
When your imagination has too much to say
When that facile voice inside your head says give your life away
You might think to ask - how it got that way
What books it has read - that make it that way
And where it got the right - to speak to anyone that way
Youd better
Hold on to your emotions, hold on to your emotions
When a night citys breeze blows across the room
And a 5 am moon and sun start their swoon
You hear your lovers breath
And not a moment too soon
You get to
Release all your emotions, you get to
Let go of your emotions, and now
Release all your emotions, youd better
Let go of your emotions
Release, I wanna let go
I wanna release, now

Shutting Up....

if i only
knew

the objective of
art is to keep things
in order

convert chaos into
a well kept room

no messing
everything neat in its place

perhaps
that is what i am doing right now

threshing out
emotions early morning

putting them inside
a canvass of this monitor

a window
where emotions take the shape of words

shit
shut.

The Trigger Called Emotion

when emotions run high
poems come like
a tornado,

when emotions run low
what is happening
to you?

when emotions become
too suspicious
what is next to do?

will you pull the trigger of
the gun and leave
the handwritten note:

because i love
you so?

Back to the Atomic State...

he is looking for an opening
his eyes are angry
but his words are restrained
and will not
let the mouth speak about
emotions

in his place emotions are
rebels
and the owner of everything
will not like it

there are spies and soldiers
of decent speech
and modest actions
and anyone caught shall be
shot to death
or beaten till his flesh
bleeds no more

and so he is looking for an exit
an opening
but there is only nowhere
there is only somewhere
and time seems to be like a road
without a station
and emotions seem to just a random
of planets
evading a collision
that could have made him happy
when the whole universe
bangs against
each other
and thus end everything
everything
so he could become another atom again
beginning anew
on a virginal spin
in a nucleus world
where he can be truly himself again

he is so small
he is so negligible
and let it be again
that no one notices him

The Winner Of This Battle

It's those...
Emotions we must conquer.
Emotions we must conquer.
Emotions we must conquer.

It's those...
Emotions we must conquer.
Emotions we must conquer.
Emotions we must conquer,
With a chasing away.

And...
The winner of this battle,
Doesn't ride on a saddle.
Or wear outfits,
To impress anybody they've got it licked.

The winner of this battle,
Doesn't ride on a saddle.
Or wear outfits,
To impress anybody they've got it licked.

Some do not expose,
Their woes on their sleeves.
With a showing they can be compose,
To a degree.

Although they may struggle,
With many troubles...
People like this don't deny,
They don't seek a ride to hide...
And rush away on alibis.

The winner of this battle,
Doesn't ride on a saddle.
Or wear outfits,
To impress anybody they've got it licked.

The winner of this battle,
Doesn't ride on a saddle.
Or wear outfits,
To impress anybody they've got it licked.

It's those...
Emotions we must conquer.
Emotions we must conquer.
Emotions we must conquer.

And the winner of this of this battle,
Are those...
Emotions that are conquered.
Emotions that are conquered.
Emotions that are conquered.

The winner of this battle...
Are those emotions that are conquered.
Emotions that are conquered.
Emotions that are conquered.

Painting dreams...

Gazing at an empty page,
Thoughts and emotions run wild.
A portrait of words come to life,
Like dreams of emotions dancing.
Images of us live on in written words,
Stirring my mind and emotions.
A world of dreams built within the mind,
Forever floating upon the emotions of fantasy...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Excessive Emotions

Control your emotions:
Be it anger, love or hate;
Let it never seize your heart;
Cut it from the start!

Control your emotions:
Be it earthly or divine;
Corporeal or sexual;
Excess spells your doom!

Control your emotions:
Even if it be good or bad;
They cause upset of your mind,
Affecting your health!

Control your emotions:
Your feelings must be balanced;
Excess is bad to body;
Meditation’s good!

Control your emotions:
Perilsome’s a sinful course;
A graceless soul, steeped in sin
Is damned forever!

There are powerful emotions that bring two people together in wonderful harmony in a marriage. Satan knows this, and would tempt you to try these emotions outside of marriage. Do not stir emotions meant to be used only in marriage.

Sail Through Your Emotions, Don't Sink

Life, people say, a journey
Indeed, it is a journey through emotions
Life turns dry
If it is without that

Emotions steer the course of life
It drives you take directions

As in a journey there are stops or stages
We too come across in this
Inevitable life journey
A number of junctions
With an emotion stopping us
To take the appropriate direction

A journey could be smooth
And less cumbersome
With emotions not stopping us for long
And demanding tough decisions

Emotions are not absolute
Their nature and extent
Varying with previous journey experiences
As a kid the emotions go unregistered
And the stops do not long last
Journey goes on smoothly for most of us

As we advance in the journey
The emotions become strong
And they get registered
Making us spend long time
In identifying the so called right directions

Checking emotions and not yielding to them
Is indeed a wisdom
And not many are successful
In making this happen

It is well advised
Not to allow your emotions drown you
But to develop in you a float
So that you sail over them

Seeking divine guidance
Developing a taste for artful creations
Looking for opportunities in challenges
Schooling your mind against
Wild and negative thoughts
Heartfully laughing in testing circumstances
And out-of-the-box thinking
Are the prescriptions
For sailing over emotions
So that you will enjoy living

Save yourselves
Sail over emotions
Sink not into them

Emotions Are Us?

did we create
these emotions
within us?

did we ever
like what we
feel?

those that we
think harm
us at the end
we want discarded
and yet they are
there always there
remaining
as is

we ask them to
leave but they
are always strong
and they keep on
staying
simmering

emotions, these
crazy emotions
of hate and anger
and pain
they are here
to stay like
forever and ever
remember

emotions of joy
and bliss and
happiness and
state of grace
satiation and
nearing perfection

they leave us
when they want to
they leave us
emptied and
suspended
we are

they come they go
outbursts and
flashes and
flickers and lights
and darkness in
constant profusions
when they like to

we do not create them
they invade us
we do not command them
they dominate us
we do not master them
they enslave us

only if we will only if
we will allow them to be

Sonnet: Good-bye, Alma-Mater!

The day has come for us to say, ‘Good-bye’,
To teachers, friends and campus-life, we led:
The memories ev’r-green can never die,
But stay with us until we are all dead!

Our Alma-Mater means something unique-
Place where adolescence became adult:
Place where we learnt the art of healing sick:
Place where emotions of all kinds were felt!

Today, we have to leave this lovely place;
What sadness fills our hearts for things we miss!
Our education gave us brighter face,
And opportunities for every bliss.
We thank Thee God for making us Doctors;
Let’s mitigate the suff’rings of others!

The Smell Of My Emotions

these emotions are scents,
they long, for your perfume,
that time, when you were
beside me, i want to hold you
and kiss you, nothing metaphorical
about a kiss, like lips, like
tips, tongues, are tongues,
tasting like you, and your emotions,
they give me a trail,
domesticating me to your
heart, a home, but not
for me, it is you, and i know,
i cannot have, but just beside
you, in this car, this journey,
that i mumble, for how long,
i know, it will be forever,
this longing, this dream,
of one, of wholeness,
i remain, incomplete, i have
hands but they are still,
like posts, with lights
on an evening, and you
are below me, as i provide
the light, and then you
walk away, just like that,
just like that, just like that,
there is no breath for me
there is no place.

Riot On Brain Cell Block 3

The emotions were running wild that night
Overpowering the guards and taking over
Threatening to end the serenity of life
Flooding the world with anger, hatred, tears

It was quiet that night on brain cell block 3
When two emotions, greed and lust, got into it
Fighting over which was the most deadly sin
Then, one by one, the other emotions joined in

Tenderness hit Love over the head with a chair
Sympathy punched Compassion in the face
Cowardliness called Fear a chicken
Courage had Bravery in a headlock

The warden sent in his finest
Strength and Determination
But even these two, the strongest of the strong
Were no match for emotions run amok

Emotions

Emotions are all around us.
Be it good or be it bad.
I always have an emotion in my hart.

My emotions are not healthy ones.
They are allways sad.
Today is no different to yesterday.
My emotions are sad.

To day is worse than any other day.
For today I was told.
Told my gran has cancer.

Now today things really are bad.
Maybe my world will fall apart.
Mabey things will come crashing down.

Emotions Of The Heart

Emotions of the heart
emotions of the mind
where do they start

Are we born
to feel from the start
or do we learn as we grow

Are we born to live
or born to die
would we still cry
if nobody else did

Where does life begin
where does it end
I guess we will only know
when we are dead

Relax Orange

if you look for sense
for sure there is none
this is the place of senselessness
like the birth of emotions
and the death of emotions
funeral like things are moving
at times
there are baptisms of fire
when you arrive and you expect
for the sun
inside your room
the moon hanging by your window
or the stars
laid in bed like a twinkling mattress
well, it is a crazy day
the rivers are playing football in the banks
the ocean is praying for rain
like a nun
the mountains are playing bowling
with the hills and mounds
i am not thinking
i am emoting i am not writing i am playing
games that are not familiar with you
it is like
oh well, catch me if you can
don't get mad, we have a lot of them here
and don't be too serious
they are waiting to be listed.

Lost key

The key to my emotions is lost.
I lost the key years ago.
Shut down all my feelings.
Now noone can hurt me again.

Noone will get to me.
For I cant feel a thing.
I locked up my emotions
And I threw away the key.

The key to my emotions.
Dont no where the hell it is.
But is doesent matter.
I dont want to feel pain any more.

(V – 2010) Emotions

Emotions sometimes flow as cascades!
Sometimes, dropp by dropp they drip
As does water from a broken pot!
Sometimes they stay unstiring, still
As water in a stagnant pond!
Emotions sometimes, as fireflies, flicker!
Sometimes they keep flaming fine
As steady as a candle flame!
Sometimes they flare up suddenly high
As the blaze of a burning torch!
Emotions sometimes colour our lives creatively!
Sometimes they stir a spoonful of hues
To the cup of our daily little joys!
Sometimes they splash colours bright and thick
Upon the dark monotony of our dreary days!
Emotions sometimes play a music enchanting!
Sometimes they strum a silent tune
Upon the veena of our tender hearts!
Sometimes they beat the drums hard and fast
And let our minds and lives go rocking!

Emotions make us dark and bright!
They keep us warm and cool!
But unless kept under our reins
The roost it will, oh, rule!
Emotions make us stand and move!
They keep us soft and sound!
But unless kept under our reins
Our ruin will be, oh, found!
