Education Celebration
(An 'Education Week' Rap)
Education, education;
There's nothing quite like education!
It gives you hope and lets you cope
And offers great remuneration.
Education, education;
The path to many a great vacation;
A fancy car and caviar;
A life of fun and relaxation.
Education, education;
Provides a firm and strong foundation
For better lives improved by drive,
By effort and by motivation.
Education, education;
Sing aloud in exultation!
And when you pass that final class
We'll shake your hand in admiration.
Education, education;
Requires a lot of perspiration.
You can bet - a lot of sweat,
And just a pinch of inspiration.
Education, education;
Let's all sing in jubilation!
For, those who strive and have the drive
May someday own a 'corporation'!
Right to education
Right to education
Free and compulsory
Education to all
Free and compulsory
Education through mother tongue
Right to education
Education to maintain
Peace and harmony
Education to keep
The world order
And discipline
Right to education
Education to earn
For livelihood
Education to provide
Food clothing and shelter
Without depending others
Right to education
Free and compulsory
To educate all
That we all are
Brothers and sisters

I Despise!
i despise...
the self centered concept
that one group of people,
that one race, or one religion,
is better than all the rest.
i despise...
any system that feeds
the few at the expense
of the many.
i despise...
ignorance, arrogance,
greed, and apathy.
i despise...
the pursuit of money
at the expense of living.
i despise...
narrow minded people
who try to lead
for the good of mankind.
i despise...
indifference, intolerance,
and unforgiveness!

The Village Education
I love village education more than alphabet education
In my cerebrum, its higher than mountains
In my vein, its deeper than Oceans
It doesn’t requires literacy and numeracy skills
Only a grandma grandpa – storyteller to sit with
Seeds around the fire in evening in wet season on mates
Skins in dry season and narrates fairy stories, legends, fables, proverbs, songs, riddles, taboos, rituals and customs.
At night this oral literature pierces the mind with bitterness
As sixteen inch thorn pierces the foot.
At daytime it penetrates out of mind with sweetness
As honey touch the tongue.
In this oral literature, the thoughts and actions of animals are
My torch at daytime.
In this oral education, the thoughts and actions of elders are walking stick of my youth.
An ignorant child of village education is short-shorter to him self / herself shorter to myself.
An ignorant adult of his/ her culture is short- short
To himself/ herself, shorter to other

Up! Education
Education is important
Right from when an infant
Education is not about college
It entails a wider range of knowledge
Supplying a market of skills shortage
Education is great
It creates and decides upon ones fate
Never leave it too late
Education makes it a priority
To provide you with opportunities
So I say
OK! Up! Education
Feed the Nations
Up! Education
Education is in abundance
A constituent of importance
As we humans advance
It offers us life’s insurance
Education is the key to set you free
From joblessness condemnation
Education is the key to flee
From endless financial frustration
Education provides you with ammunition
To tackle any country, state or nation
Education gives you immunisation
Against surviving global frustration
Education relieves you
From absurd ignorance
Education exempts you and me
From parental allowance
For most adults
It is usually a concerning disturbance
So I say
OK! Up! Education
Feed the Nations
Up! Education
I take my time to stress once more
It is the path to successes door
Education is a treasure
One cannot significantly measure
By only your life’s attended lectures
Education is power
Your immediate answer
To questions that remain unanswered
Education is for all
Embrace it or fall
Education provides options
And sets the motion
In life for you to function
So I say
OK! Up! Education
Feed the Nations
Up! Education
Education is the name of the game

Right to education
Right to education
Is a right to live,
Without education we spontaneousy get
A right to die,
Not physically but morally,
Illiteracy is our moral death,
For being illiterate we can't even talk life,
Education is a soul rests
In the body of human being,
So without education,
We are only human animals,
Education takes us to height of humanity.

No Water can Put Out This Fire!
What i know is not what you are teaching me!
For, you think that, i am very ignorant about this life;
But, this is like, you do not care about me! !
Because, your education does not educate me;
And, no water can put out this fire!

The Key to Success
Education is relevant for a person to be successful.
Education empowers a person to become a leader.
Great opportunities are presented to professionals.
The future of a Person can be unpredictable if she lacks education;
an uneducated person does not have the knowledge
of what the future has to offer for her.
Education is an essential tool to make a pleasant and stable living out of a simple quotidian life.
High Education contributes to the increase of the graduate
in her social economic level.
Education is the main Factor for one to become wealthy,
Millionaire, or even
Multimillionaire.
Education offers the opportunity for a person
to become the owner of a mansion.
Education brings one the opportunity to please herself.
Perhaps, getting to travel often to interesting countries/places, or
to be the owner of the latest new brand sport car.
Education enables one to reach success.
Education makes one become influential.
Education gives one the opportunity to be
at the top with the highest wage.
Education gives one self-fulfillment.
A thief can take away money, a car, a property from a person.
but is definitely impossible to take education away from someone.
Education is worth $10,000 $50,000 $1000,000
0ne puts it value!
Education is certainly the main Element to become successful
and overall to reach one’s goals and dreams.

Despise
Despise!!!
Maze...psychopathic daze...i create this waste
Back away from tangents, on the verge of drastic
Ways...cant escape this place...i deny your face
Sweat gets in my eyes, lash out at all I despise
Handsonmyfaceoverbearingicantgetout
Lost...ran at my own cost...hearing laughter, scoffed
Learning from the rush, detached from such and such
Bleak...standing on my feet...listening incomplete
I am not a dog, but Im the one you dog

Never - ever - surrender - I want it all!
Never - ever - surrender - despise
My state of mind gets so one-sided
Despise!!!
Cut me - show me - enter - I am
Willing and able and never any danger to myself
Knowledge in my pain, knowledge in my pain
Or was my tolerance a phase?
Empathy, out of my way
I cant die
Never - ever - surrender - I want it all!
Never - ever - surrender - despise
My state of mind gets so one-sided
Despise!

If perchance there should be foolish speakers who, together with those ignorant of all mathematics, will take it upon themselves to decide concerning these things, and because of some place in the Scriptures wickedly distorted to their purpose, should dare to assail this my work, they are of no importance to me, to such an extent do I despise their judgment as rash.

education, education, education!
every child, regardless of race,
gender, religion, or living status....
deserves the same chance
for a good education!
quit laying off teachers!
lay off corrupt brokers!
lay off ineffective politicians!
give the children a chance!
it will cost us more if we dont!

Slaved Education
Why
as a black male I feel so underrated even from my own brothas
Maybe it's because we call each other nigga
because we are to ashamed and ignorant to comprehend that they were
Once enslaved by the very word NIGGA
My brotha,
far down your ancestry
Your great great dear aunty watches over the
ashamed.. and disgraced..
the very freedom she earned through all of her pain
I promise you If she could she would lynch you by your own chain
But she won't..
Hurt like stepping on a thumb tack
Failed education because marijuana became your new colon
Blacks dropping out of school to chase a street dream
We all suffer trying to get whips and chains
But I can bet your great aunty suffered from the same thing
Don't be clouded by the smoke from the black
Remember brother you black and the education you need that
In slavery they were afraid to educate a black man
Afraid of what vast secrets can be released
I stand before you today Asking
are we ignorant and enslaved as we were a 100 years ago
Are we bound..
Chained from light like a caged dog on a Sunday night
Why,
why did we give up or dreams,
Dreams of becoming strong educated and free
Education was always the key
Or maybe society advanced so far
and made it seem like we were locked out
But in reality we have become too weak to pick up the key
But why
Why are we so weak?
You tell me, what time, what season and who allowed us colored people to follow knee deep in our own sorrows where we allowed our dreams to be strangled by the root of evil,
Which made BLACK choose to play Russian roulette with their lives
Instead of educating each other, and themselves

For Them 'That' Goes Unrecognized
Sad are those who sit and criticize.
With nothing to value but a love to despise.
Everything done is for them to undo.
No matter who does it.
Or how it is pursued.
Sad are those who sit and criticize.
With nothing to value but a love to despise.
Self centered with a selfishness.
For them 'that' goes unrecognized.
But for those who see them for who they are...
There is a desire to get away from them.
Quickly when it is noticed.
With wishes to get away from them and far.
Sad are those who sit and criticize.
With nothing to value but a love to despise.
And suffering from unmasked disguises,
From their own sense of failure.
