Nature's Fury

Disturbing images,
Ravaged faces.

Pain and grief,
Loss and disbelief.

Hopeless and helpless,
No sense to the madness.

Millions swept
By furious waves.

Ministers flew
To take an aerial view.

And assess
The damage.

And appeal to the nation
To make liberal donations.

To raise funds for relief
Of the bereaved

Which never reach
Those in need.

Greed of man doesn’t lose any opportunity,
To make fortune out of a calamity.

Funds are sabotaged,
These hapless people still have courage,

Out of the rubble they rise bravely
From scratch rebuild their lives stoically.

Bereavement

Do not get tired from grief as you are bereaved,
And bereavement is relief as you are bereaved.

Do certainty on the scene of writing, when all is leisure
And certain people believe in their belief as you are bereaved.

Does your mind seem a container of science and sea?
Then let feelings go, let them reside away from the thief as you are bereaved.

Does your partner know why marriage is sacred and solid?
Then see him or her with a measure of truth as the chief as you are bereaved.

May surrendering accomplish the goal of a life-time,
May I wish you all the best with your disbelief as you are bereaved.

Let Time fly, let innocence mend the tattered cloths and dress and uniform,
For when a person dies he or she is abject and very brief, as you are bereaved.

There were two qualities about the mutual funds of the 1920s that made them extremely speculative. One was that they were heavily leveraged. Two, mutual funds were allowed to invest in other mutual funds.

Grief is perhaps an unknown territory for you. You might feel both helpless and hopeless without a sense of a ""map"" for the journey. Confusion is the hallmark of a transition. To rebuild both your inner and outer world is a major project.

Moolah

Some earn it, some steal it,
some lust for it like muff.
Others work hard for hours
earning barely enough.

The lucky, with Trust funds,
have got it to spare.
Others anxiously hope
Grandma’s will named them heir.

Some guys on the Street
Take risks with brass balls.
Then live like royal dukes
in baronial halls.

In the evenings some Ladies
Will stroll on the street
Accepting donations
for sausage relief.

The government types
Have got it the best
They skim off the top
And distribute the rest.

These green little rectangles
With the Presidents’ faces-
They help us keep score
And keep us all in our places.

The Dedicated Fundraiser

In every town across the land
We find him holding out his hand -
Collecting funds for charity
From folks like you... and folks like me!
He stands there waiting, rain or shine,
Hoping we will not decline
The needs of those that he holds dear -
For whom he chose to volunteer!
They may be starving refugees!
His conscience hears their earnest pleas!
They may be blind, deaf, dumb or lame!
Their plight is now his sacred aim!
They may be helpless, quite forlorn!
A noble cause has just been born...
A flood or earthquake, who can say! ?
And yet, through him, help's on its way!
But only if he stands and waits,
Upon the Council's licenced dates,
For many seek to raise funds, too...
From folks like me... and folks like you!
It's up to us to contribute -
To play the saint or stay the brute!
Donate a pound or walk on by,
Not asking who or what or why...
He simply stands in silent hope
To save some lives... help victims cope...
So, think again! Don't hurry past!
This chance to help may be the last!
It's up to us to show we care...
Just like the man who's standing there...

A Letter To A Friend,

As in some wealthy, trading Town,
Where Riches raise to fure Renown,
The Man, with ample Sums in Store,
More than enough, yet wanting more,
Bent on Abundance, first secures
His Rails, his Windows, and his Doors,
With many a Chain, and Bolt, and Pin.
To keep Rogues out, and Riches in;
Ranges his Iron Chests in View,
And paints his Window Bars with Blue;
Discounts your Notes, receives your Rents,
A Banker now, to all Intents.

Suppose his more successful Labours
Should raise him high above his Neighbours:
As sure, as if Apollo said it,
They'll all combine to blast his Credit:
But if, in solid Wealth secure,
Their vain Assaults he can endure;
Their Malice but augments his Gain,
And swells the Store it meant to drain.

The Case in ev'ry Point's the same,
In Funds of Wealth, and Funds of Fame:
Tho' you're secur'd by ev'ry Fence
Of solid Worth, and Wit, and Sense;
In vain are all your utmost Pains,
Your Virtue's Bars, and Wisdom's Chains;
Nor Worth, nor Wit, nor Sense, combin'd,
Can bar the Malice of the Mind.

The firmest, and the fairest Fame
Is ever Envy's surest Aim:
But if it stand her Rage, unmov'd,
Like Gold, in fiery Furnace prov'd;
Unbiass'd Truth, your Virtues Friend,
Will more exalt you in the End.

The Resolution

The Favours of Fortune I once hop'd to gain,
And often invok'd her, but ever in vain.
She despis'd my Addresses, which gave me such Grief,
I flew to the Muses, in Hopes of Relief.
Ah Wretch that I was! I might very well know,
'Twas the Method to make her for ever my Foe.
They laugh'd at the Goddess, and bid me despise her;
But Time and Experience have made me grow wiser.
This unhappy Mistake I resolve to repair.
O Fortune! thy Votaries must persevere.

Dance, Dance Everywhere!

Dance, Dance Dance
everywhere,
When I look at the sky,
I see the clouds dance
Into steps of winds
My heart dance when I watch clouds dance!
How it can make me dance?

Without any tune or beats,
Its own beats me my heart dance.
Some strange tune it sings in silence and dance!

When I see at shore of ocean waves that dance,
Some birds in sky fly and dance,
On the waves boats that to the tune of waves, dance,

My mind sing lyricless
music to which it dance!

When I walk along the beach,
The headless crown of palm trees with wide open hands dance,
Watching them dance trees start their dance!

When I on countryside, green paddy fields dance,
Looking at them, the bird on the branch dance!

When walk along, trees with fruits dance,
And to its own rustling music, leaves dance!

When I walk in the park,
Plants with flowers dance!
Looking at the graceful dance flowerless dance,

When I move on street, hope and hap dance,
Seeing at them even hopeless an hapless to dance!
Smile on faces with hope dance,
Wrinkles on the forehead of hapless dance!

When I look at people in them mind dance,
In some happiness dance,
In some sorrowfulness dance,

Some I found with desperation dance
In some their laziness dance,
In some saintliness dance,
Most of the time wickedness dance,
And in some other dreams that dance!

Success that dance with some,
Distress that in unsuccessful dance,

In some hearts mercy that dance
Together with love and kindness dance!

Some where cookedness dance,
And some where innocence dance,

In every nation either hunger dance,
Or in people's mind anger that dance,

Either corruption in corrupt mind dance,
Or those systems on the heart of people dance!

Dance, dance, dance everywhere,
It is time for my soulful dance,
If you see somewhere some other type of dance
Just sing it dance
and let no other see the pain in your heart dance
Hide it with that unfailable lips on which smile may dance
Dance, Dance, dance,
Tune your steps with eternal dance!

This Constitutes Fraud

Organizations based in inner city communities,
That are overwhelmingly those of color.
And those same organizations solicit funds,
Stating they provide activities and training...
That does not get done for everyone,
But 'some'.

And those funds are used for other purposes,
Surburbanites are hired to inspire...
Those 'urbanites' of color,
With their point of view.
As if they are suppose to!
And doing this not to train or motivate...
But to employ the chosen few!
Themselves!
That is what they do.
And to instill their ideologies.
This constitutes fraud!
And that is not only my point of view.
That is what they do!

And those living in inner cities,
Not benefitting from activities claimed.
Deserve much more than apologies.
They deserve to be praised...
Not shamed.
For raising such deceit on their backs!
Or at least identify,
Those organizations by name!
And their lack of supportive deeds,
That continue such bleeding and succeed.

'What constitutes fraud? '

Mental manipulation!
That constitutes fraud.
To deprive those in need,
By keeping the rich...
Although quite flawed,
In a state of awe and greed.
And organized to keep the needy teased.

'What constitutes fraud? '

Organizations set up like these.

Let's Just Suppose

Let’s just suppose
That over four thousand young men
Got jobs and got married
Became normal Americans and then

Let’s just suppose
These same young men of our new generation
Stayed home and avoided
Nightmares and mutilation

Let’s just suppose
Over four thousand lives were sadly expended
In a hostile land, so far away
In a war built on lies, and is yet open-ended

Let’s just suppose
That many untold billions in funds
Had over four thousand of those young men
Building our country, in lieu of bearing guns

Let’s just suppose
That instead, billions were spent on education
On infrastructure, medical research and homeland defense
Lives better spent, to build a better, stronger nation

Let’s just suppose
That the mad minds in our administration
Had Instead, kept those heroic young boys
safe at home, while still defending our nation

Let’s just wonder
amidst all the war-wager’s noise
Was this one man…Saddam Housein
Worth more than four thousand of our young boys?

Let’s just suppose
This madness we could suspend
All stand together and say “enough is enough.”
We’re not the world’s policemen
This madness must end!

Let’s just propose….
To bring our young men
Back home.

Opurtunity

Opportunity
Loss it seems is the worst kind of sorrow
Loss of a dream
Loss of a person
But what of the loss of opportunity
Opportunity for a dream
Opportunity for time with a person
Can not having the chance of loss
Be worse than loss itself
More prominent
More painful
An aching sense that if only you’d had the chance
You would at least have memories
Good
Bad
Would it matter as long as you could remember
Loss it seems is the worse kind of sorrow
But worse still is the loss of opportunity

There's Pain on the Faces

There's pain on the faces,
A hunted look of despair,
Once again,
Have you no shame
Do you feel no pain?

The queues have grown
Of the dirty and dispossessed
Once again,
Have you no shame
Do you feel no pain?

The scared and the lonely
Have no where to go,
Once again,
Have you no shame
Do you feel no pain?

Will take you to the soup kitchens,
Make you stand in line,
Talk to the dispossessed, the lost
Have you no shame,
Do you feel no pain?

Were we here?
When she stood in the rubble
Declaring regeneration
A new dawn for us all.
Have you no shame,
Do you feel no pain?

Take your millions,
Do what you want with it
No one cares
We have no sympathy
For those who feel no shame,
Do you still feel no pain?

Childhoods End

Id sail across the ocean
Id walk a hundred miles
If I could make it to the end
Oh just to see a smile
You see it in their faces
The sadness in their tears
The desperation and the anger
Madness and the fear
No hope, no life, just pain and fear
No food, no love, just greed is here
Starvation and the hunger
The suffering and the pain
The agonies of all - out war
When will it come again
The struggle for the power
A tyrant strikes again
Just what the hell is going on
When will it ever end
No hope, no life, just pain and fear
No food, no love, just greed is here
You see the full moon float
You watch the red sun rise
We take these things for granted
But somewhere someones dying
Contaminated waters
Pollution and decay
Just waitng for disease to stike
Oh will we learn someday?
No hope, no life, just pain and fear
No food, no love, no seed
Childhoods end

In Every Way!

how many people are blind?
how many people are deaf?
how many by choice?
perhaps you still have jobs,
homes, food to eat, medical care.
perhaps you have investments,
a way to retire....
perhaps your family is happy,
and well taken care of...
i hope so for you!

millions of people hurting,
millions in need...
millions of children hungry,
millions who cant get an education.
millions enslaved by poverty,
millions left alone....
people with faces and names.

all of these are normal people.
whatever their language, their religion,
their sexual orientation.
all of these are people just like you.
and many of these have families,
just like you!

is it their fault they're victims?
perhaps they've worked their whole lives.
male, female, young, old.....
all people,
with mothers and fathers....
all people....
and no, America is not free.

the news we watch is tainted.
the truth is hidden from us.
killing people around the world
does not make us free....
books are being banned and burned,
prejudice and discrimination are rampant.
we have forgotten we are responsible for each other,
we have forgotten we are all immigrants here.
there are no illegal people,
all people are just people.
freedom demands equality,
in every way!

Epidemics and Tsunamis

I don’t mind if some one calls me nationalist arrogant
When I find my nation has become sand witch between giants
She ahs been labeled as puppet regime and powerless
With what feelings of arrogance I should show on face?

I feel irritation and tease at hart when I am condemned
As individual nationalist of shamed country and damned
I love to be called proudly by nation first and then nationality
A nation to be remembered and proudly with capability

I would wish same for all the nations of the world
Not known by what powerful alliance they hold
Not humiliated by link to pay for as heavy price
Only strong nationalism must be the right choice

Let another millions die if they want division of motherland
Let good sense not prevail for protection of holy land
Yet it may not dilute my spirit towards nation
As it is identity and bound by sacred relation

How can one think of tying cord around people’s neck?
In our own country where poor die for food stake
We can afford food stuff to rot on road side
Still it can’t reach to hungry mouth country wide

We have enemies within and need go after terrorists
If not today they will be killed surely in forests
Who will kill these big sharks that attack freely?
Drive a wedge and kill one by one truly

Can any one put ceiling on their greed?
Still millions can be easily afforded to feed
I may find happy faces in the remote places
How can we make them feel better on the faces?

My house is still not in order
It gives bad smell and odor
My garden has different roses and flowers
Rain God is also blessing us with enough showers

Despite all, it makes me feel proud
I can speak in favor and very loud
House can be cleaned of external enemies
But how to tackle internal epidemics and Tsunamis

Pathetic Way Of Getting Over Me

Oh if you read in the papers that she's been seen
A gettin' in an out of some millionare's long custom made limousine
She may fool you with her smile but I can see
That's just her poor hopeless heartless helpless pathetic way of gettin' over me
So you were down at Joe's on the night she broke her zipper
And some wane brain drunk champagne out of her slipper
And she danced on the piano and she screamed hurray I'm free
That's just her poor hopeless heartless helpless pathetic way of gettin' over me
Oh she'll do anything she can just to make me jealous
Of course forgettin' me is gonna take her lots of years
So I call her now and then just out of pitty when she laughs at me
That's just her way of bravely holding back her tears
What's that you say she got married oh the poor little fool
To some handsome movie star with the mansion and a swimming pool
And she's looking good and she's got a kid or two or three
That's just her poor hopeless heartless helpless pathetic way of gettin' over me
(Pathetic way of tryin' to get over me but she ain't never gonna make it honey
I mean those guys those guys you see her with now
They're they're the relatives maybe business assiciates
I mean I know this woman and she's sittin' home bitin' her fingernails
Let me tell you she's just readin' magazines
She she may look like she's enjouin' herself
That's the way she looks when she's really gettin' bad I know this woman)
