Awareness
Sitting in Costa Coffee,
Sipping my Earl Grey tea,
I wanted to be alone,
And didn’t want to meet anyone
I have known.
I sat and stared
At people passing by,
Talking animatedly and looking at the ware.
Sitting in the Mall
Does ease my mind,
And I feel free of stuff that makes me feel appalled.
Amused I saw escalators,
Ferrying people to and fro
And felt we have really come far.
I just needed a change,
And wasn’t here to browse.
So I let my gaze
Wander about.
Soon I forgot why I was here,
For sometime I was fully aware.

Thinking of You
Sitting here on this cold night I think of you
Sitting here looking into the sky I see your face
Sitting here thinking I think of your voice
Sitting here I watch the stars I smile at the thought of seeing you soon
Being here without you I feel the emptiness sinking into my heart
Being out here without your warmth I think of how I will feel your warmth someday
Being here in the night that is so dark I force a smile to show on my face
Being here I think of how this will just make the day I see you even better
Thinking of you can always changes the day from bad to good in a second
Thinking of you makes a smile appear that has been hidden
Thinking of you lightens the dark night's sky
Thinking of you makes me get through the day
Talking to you always makes me forget all my troubles
Talking to you makes my surroundings melt into a dream
Talking to you always puts me in a good mood even when we have nothing to say
Talking to you always gives me something to look forward to. I love you.

Whom do you want to sit with?
Sitting with wise people makes you wise
Sitting with rich people increases your pride
Sitting with unfortunates makes you humble
Sitting with ignorant makes you more puzzle
Sitting with traitors can make you traitors too
Along whom do you sit with, it is up to you!

Don't Belong Here
We all have somewhere we belong
I been waiting to know where my place is
I know one place for me and is New Jersey
Coming here change my life so much
I just feel like I
Don’t belong here
I just want to leave here forever
After I made my mistakes
Everything change that I never picture
Will happend and what I have done
I didn’t expect any of this
I never learn from my mistakes and just keep doing
People keep blaming me,
Giving me dirty looks and stared at me
When someone told something to them
Rumors spread about me all the time
It never end and puting me down
I’m so sick of this people and this town
I didn’t mean to do any of this on purpose
I just couldn’t made up my mind
I don’t belong here
These people are jerks and just act nice because
They feel sorry for me
I feel sorry for them too
I’m just annoy and tiring by all this going on
I try and put all my strength into it
There nothing else I can do to make this people
Think different of me
So it best if I leave and leave all this memories behind
That I don’t want to remember
I just feel like I
Don’t belong here

The Cable Car Ride
We came out early on that Tuesday afternoon
I didn't want to part just yet for you to be gone so soon
A cable car ride suggested, it quickly took your mind
We took a tube to Greenwich and sauntered past O2
And sooner than we knew it we were where we needed to be
With oyster discounts in our hand and wristbands strapped on tight
It was not long before we took our flight
In our glass cccoon for two we swept up into the grey
The wind picked up and swayed us off our way
I hoped that one such gust would place your hand in mind
But you proved to be the braver one you never moved an inch
I desperately wanted to put my hand in yours but was frightened still to do it
But it wasn't' the wind you know that made we want to do it
The moment passed with a GPS joke and then onto costa coffee
One Afternoon By The Cafe...
YOU get attuned to talking to yourself
while sitting on a bench
with coffee held by your left hand
your right hand simply doing nothing
you see the people passing by
like the hours in your
mind
like the hands of the watch
circling
busy, really busy
concentric and arriving at nothing
actually
it is the best that happens
in an afternoon
like this one
the manic days of March
meandering mind
reconnecting
readjusting....

All I Ever Wanted
What are you going to say and what are you going to do ?
What are you going to say and what are you going to do ?
Too good
You could
Be so misunderstood
Snow pure
Demure
Don't feel so insecure
Heaven would be lonely without you
You satisfy the need in me
No-one makes me feel the way you do
What are you going to say and what are you going to do ?
What are you going to say and what are you going to do ?
Maligned
You'll find
A strength to ease your mind
Trust fate
Relate
This trial you'll tolerate
Summer would be bitter without you
You satisfy the need in me
Sunshine couldn't warm me like you do
Devotion's what you read in read
All I ever wanted
Was to be with you just to be with you
All I ever wanted
Just to be with you to be free with you
Review
Brand new
You know you'll see it through
From now
I wow
They'll take what you allow
Paradise so dreary without you
I couldn't last a day without you
Nothing else could take the place of you
You know I wouldn't stay without you
All I ever wanted
Was to be with you just to be with you
All I ever wanted
Just to be with you to be free with you
Yeah be with you
All I ever wanted
Come on be with you
To be free with you
Totally with you
Hey be with you
All I ever wanted
I believe in you
I believe in you
Hey hey yeah
What are you going to say and what are you going to do ?
What are you going to say and what are you going to do ?
What are you going to say and what are you going to do ?
What are you going to say and what are you going to do ?

Take,Take,Take
was sitting there in a comfortable chair
And that was all that I needed
Then my friend offered me a drink for us to share
And that was all that I needed
Well, then I felt at ease
But then I'm not too hard to please
I guess you couldn't call me greedy
Then I was shocked to look up
And see rita hayworth there in a place so seedy
She walked into the bar with her long, red, curly hair
And that was all that I needed
And I said to my friend, "good god, we're lucky men just to even see her"
Take, take, take
Take, take, take
Take, take, take
And I could not resist, I just had to get close to her
And that was all that I needed
I walked and loomed around her table for a while
And that was all that I needed
Then I said, "i hate to bug you, ma'am, but can I have your autograph?"
And that was all that I needed
She pressed her lips against a white piece of paper
And that was all that I needed
Then I saw what she wrote, my heart is in my mouth
And that was all that I needed
Then she handed it to me, and I think that she could see
That that was all that I needed
I started to walk away but then I remembered 'hey, I forgot to get a picture'
So I asked her one more time, "could I have another favor?"
That was all that I needed
She was kind and posed with me
Then I knew my friend would see my celebrity meeting
Take, take, take
Take, take, take
Take, take, take
She turned and said to me, "I need to go to sleep,"
And it seemed so mean
It's almost as if she could not appreciate how cool I was being
She said, "good night" and walked away
And I didn't know what to say
I just couldn't believe it
Well, it's just not fair
I want to get a piece of hair
That was all that I needed
Or maybe a kiss on the cheek
I wouldn't wash it for a week
That would be all that I needed
But she didn't even care
That I was even there
What a horrible feeling

Without Feeling Guilt Or Appalled At All
It's just so sad...
To think that people don't get a bite to eat.
And it's just so sad...
These people aren't the only ones seen on the streets.
Some still live in homes,
While others condone roaming all alone.
Oh it's just too sad...
To know the ones who lead aren't leaders.
Although give they do nice and sweet speeches,
As if what will be done is prioritized...
And homelessness and hunger will soon meet defeat!
It's just so sad...
To witness people struggle to their feet.
And walk for miles to try to keep up...
Their heads as they seek dwindling opportunities.
As others pass them talking,
To leave them without greeting...
Or helping out to meet their needs.
People have the gall to dropp this ball,
Without feeling guilt or appalled at all!
People have the gall to dropp this ball,
Without feeling guilt or appalled at all!
It's just so sad...
To think that people don't get a bite to eat.
And it's just so sad...
These people aren't the only ones seen on the streets.
Some still live in homes,
While others condone roaming all alone.
(It's just so...)
People have the gall to dropp this ball,
Without feeling guilt or appalled.
(It's just so...)
People have the gall to dropp this ball,
Without feeling guilt or appalled.
(It's just so...)
People have the gall to dropp this ball,
Without feeling guilt or appalled.

How Best To Engage Your Outrage
I am...
Outraged.
Livid.
'That's great.
That's good to hear.
Unfortunately...
It's a little late for that display,
To find sympathizers to lend an ear.
You see those people,
Sitting patiently over there?
They too had similar sentiments.
Feel free to join them.
I am sure they will share with you,
How best to engage your 'outrage'...
Into a more fulfilling 'enrage'.
One that is better suited for these times.
And don't worry about that lividity...
It will help to exercise the rolling of eyes!
And...
Don't forget to take a number,
Before you are called to stand...
Amongst those dumbfounded,
With a numbing they are trying to overcome...
In the unemployment line.
Oh...
Before I forget.
If you wish...
Feel free to join others down that hall.
They are smoking.
Those are the ones who arrived here,
Upset and appalled!
Next! '

Watching The World Go By
In a coffee shop window, I sit and stare
At all the people passing by, out there.
In London town, literally anything goes:
Zany hairstyles, as well as crazy clothes.
As a regular visitor, I'm now never surprised
At the sights, which I see set before my eyes.
People of all ages pass by: some young, some old;
Some wear quiet colours, while others wear bold.
Some have mobile phones pressed to their ear:
Their faces full of frowns - no trace of cheer.
But tourists keep a much more leisurely pace;
These are the people with a smile on their face.
Football supporters are just back from a game;
Fuelled with alcohol, they are less than tame.
A tramp searches for food in the nearby trash.
A busker plays his guitar, hoping for some cash.
Small children tightly hold their parents' hands;
The dangers of the city, they don't yet understand.
I see friends greet, and, each other, they happily hug;
The warmth between them, I feel in my coffee mug.
I see teenage girls with hair dyed red or bright blue;
And they dare to flash an amazing amount of flesh to.
Here, people aren't afraid to show just who they are.
Some of them drive around in really cool, funky cars.
London is so different from the town where I reside:
No one in the city feels as though they've got to hide.
Sitting, watching people, just makes the time really fly.
I love sitting in the window, watching the world go by.

FEEL AGAIN - Song Lyrics
Passing by my eyes
Are people living lives
They flow before my gaze
Just like the memories
In my mind
I watch them from
My hiding place
In shadows so
To hide my face
And as they pass
The memories flash
Of how it felt to feel that way
And home…
I long for home…
Where is my home…
Please take me home…
Home…
Please take me home…
Where is my home…
I long for home…
I watch the people
Not because
I wanna be their friend
I watch them not
Because I hope to know
Them in the end
I simply watch
And ask myself
Why do I feel this way
How did I get here
Can I hope
To feel again someday
To feel the feelings
That they feel…
To hope, to love, to cry
To fall and feel the pain
Or rise in triumph to the sky
And home…
I long for home…
Where is my home…
Please take me home…
Home…
Please take me home…
Where is my home…
I long for home…
All I have are memories
Of the times
When things were good
Memories of the days
Of when I felt
The way I should
Memories now that
Flow before the view
Inside my mind
Just as the passing people
Flow before my open eyes
Oh God! How can I be
Like them
Is there a way to
Start again
I know there is
I know its there
I’ll find it
I don’t ****ing care
What I have to go through
What I lose and what I lack
I know my heart
Can feel again
If I can only
Find my way back
Home…
I’m going home…
This is my home…
It feels like home…
Home…
This feels like home…
This feels like home…
This feels like home…
Home…
This feels like home…
This feels like home…
This feels like home…
I’m finally home

Who Keep What I Feel Felt Real
As described by those who are now mired,
In dire straits.
I am sure the pain felt is real.
I felt the same way about my own.
And when I healed,
With the understanding how that was done...
Those now with long faces,
Were nowhere to be traced.
Most of them were racing...
From mall to mall.
With shopping as the agenda.
And with those expressed feelings,
From a few to show me I was still someone...
In their hearts and minds.
I realized this...
They are the kinds of people in my life I prioritize.
They are the kinds of people in my life,
Who keep what I feel felt real and me alive inside.
At the top of my list they are.
They are the kind of people I need not think twice,
To shower with my full respect.
The rest?
I wish them all the best.
They are not of my concern.
What has been earned...
Has already been issued, valued and satisfied.
No masquerades, charades or disguises needed.
What has been earned...
Has already been issued, valued and satisfied.
And with that between us known...
Apologies expressed are few and limited.

Handle
Theirs thing’s I can handle
But you not being around is one of them
Day in day out I wish I was with you
We use to see each other every day
Now I’m lucky to see you once a month
If I do see you, it’s a total of maybe 5 minutes
That’s what I get
Do you really care?
You say you want to do things with me.
But why with me?
What makes me so special?
I tried and explain to you that I don’t do that.
Felt like I was talking to a wall.
How come you never want to pay attention?
For the first time in my life I had rumors about me.
It wasn’t even like they where good rumors.
Shit I wouldn’t want nothing spread around.
Especially when their not true.
It’s stuff I don’t even believe in.
But you saw more to it then just some rumor.
Random people would come and question your sexuality.
You didn’t even give a shit.
You didn’t care what people thought of you.
But me.
See I’m different.
I cared so much that it hurt me.
I want to disappear and never come back.
You could give two shits as long as you got your attention.
Every body bow down the princess is here.

A Mysterious Man Or A Deja Vu Experience?
I'm walking on the street and a lot of people passing by,
I'm just in a middle of a crowd and suddenly i felt shivers on my spine,
I met his eyes and i want to keep on walking,
But i've noticed my body didn't responding.
His charming eyes than, i could see,
He was stopping also to stare at me,
He has something special that i feel i know,
Our eyes meet and we smiled with glow.
I feel something different that i can't explain,
It's like i know him forever or it seems to me,
The warmth of his look is melting me with a smile,
Why i'm feeling so, my face is burning like fire.
The sparkle in his eyes, his look so divine,
It makes my lips sealed, i couldn't say a thing,
I'm keep on gaze at him and i saw in his amazing eyes,
All my life developing with my sorrows, my success, my dreams.
Do i know him, he seem familiar to me,
I feel hypnotize by his eyes, i can't move, i can't do a thing,
I keep stare at him and asking myself,
Do i know you mysterious man, do we met in this life or another galaxy?
I feel his warmth, his love,
And i don't want to lose him,
Who is this man standing in front of me,
Is he a mysterious man or a deja vu experience?

Sir Duke
Music is a world within itself
With a language we all understand
With an equal opportunity
For all to sing, dance and clap their hands
But just because a record has a groove
Dont make it in the groove
But you can tell right away at letter a
When the people start to move
They can feel it all over
They can feel it all over people
They can feel it all over
They can feel it all over people
Music knows it is and always will
Be one of the things that life just wont quit
But here are some of musics pioneers
That time will not allow us to forget
For theres basie, miller, satchmo
And the king of all sir duke
And with a voice like ellas ringing out
Theres no way the band can lose
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
I can feel it all over-all over now people
Cant you feel it all over
Come on lets feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
Everybody-all over people

Coffee
Sometimes life is merely a matter of coffee and whatever intimacy a cup of coffee
affords. I once read something about coffee. The thing said that coffee is good for you;
it stimulates all the organs.
I thought at first this was a strange way to put it, and not altogether pleasant, but
as time goes by I have found out that it makes sense in its own limited way. I'll tell you
what I mean.
Yesterday morning I went over to see a girl. I like her. Whatever we had going for us
is gone now. She does not care for me. I blew it and wish I hadn't.
I rang the door bell and waited on the stairs. I could hear her moving around upstairs.
The way she moved I could tell that she was getting up. I had awakened her.
Then she came down the stairs. I could feel her approach in my stomach. Every step she
took stirred my feelings and lead indirectly to her opening the door. She saw me and it
did not please her.
Once upon a time it pleased her very much, last week. I wonder where it went,
pretending to be naive.
"I feel strange now," she said. "I don't want to talk."
"I want a cup of coffee," I said, because it was the last thing in the world
that I wanted. I said it in such a way that it sounded as if I were reading her a telegram
from somebody else, a person who really wanted a cup of coffee, who cared about nothing
else.
"All right," she said.
I followed her up the stairs. It was ridiculous. She had just put some clothes on. They
had not quite adjusted themselves to her body. I could tell you about her ass. We went
into the kitchen.
She took a jar of instant coffee off the shelf and put it on the table. She placed a
cup next to it, and a spoon. I looked at them. She put a pan full of water on the stove
and turned the gas on under it.
All this time she did not say a word. Her clothes adjusted themselves to her body. I
won't. She left the kitchen.
Then she went down the stairs and outside to see if she had any mail. I didn't remember
seeing any. She came back up the stairs and went into another room. She closed the door
after her. I looked at the pan full of water on the stove.
I knew that it would take a year before the water started to boil. It was now October
and there was too much water in the pan. That was the problem. I threw half of the water
into the sink.
The water would boil faster now. It would take only six months. The house was quiet.
I looked out the back porch. There were sacks of garbage there. I stared at the garbage
and tried to figure out what she had been eating lately by studying the containers and
peelings and stuff. I couldn't tell a thing.
It was now March. The water started to boil. I was pleased by this.
I looked at the table. There was the jar of instant coffee, the empty cup and the spoon
all laid out like a funeral service. These are the things that you need to make a cup of
coffee.
When I left the house ten minutes later, the cup of coffee safely inside me like a
grave, I said, "Thank you for the cup of coffee."
"You're welcome," she said. Her voice came from behind a closed door. Her
voice sounded like another telegram. It was really time for me to leave.
I spent the rest of the day not making coffee. It was a comfort. And evening came, I
had dinner in a restaurant and went to a bar. I had some drinks and talked to some people.
We were bar people and said bar things. None of them remembered, and the bar closed. It
was two o'clock in the morning. I had to go outside. It was foggy and cold in San
Francisco. I wondered about the fog and felt very human and exposed.
I decided to go visit another girl. We had not been friends for over a year. Once we
were very close. I wondered what she was thinking about now.
I went to her house. She didn't have a door bell. That was a small victory. One must
keep track of all the small victories. I do, anyway.
She answered the door. She was holding a robe in front of her. She didn't believe that
she was seeing me. "What do you want?" she said, believing now that she was
seeing me. I walked right into the house.
She turned and closed the door in such a way that I could see her profile. She had not
bothered to wrap the robe completely around herself. She was just holding the robe in
front of herself.
I could see an unbroken line of body running from her head to her feet. It looked kind
of strange. Perhaps because it was so late at night.
"What do you want?" she said.
"I want a cup of coffee," I said. What a funny thing to say, to say again for
a cup of coffee was not what I really wanted.
She looked at me and wheeled slightly on the profile. She was not pleased to see me.
Let the AMA tell us that time heals. I looked at the unbroken line of her body.
"Why don't you have a cup of coffee with me?" I said. "I feel like
talking to you. We haven't talked for a long time."
She looked at me and wheeled slightly on the profile. I stared at the unbroken line of
her body. This was not good.
"It's too late," she said. "I have to get up in the morning. If you want
a cup of coffee, there's instant in the kitchen. I have to go to bed."
The kitchen light was on. I looked down the hall into the kitchen. I didn't feel like
going into the kitchen and having another cup of coffee by myself. I didn't feel like
going to anybody else's house and asking them for a cup of coffee.
I realized that the day had been committed to a very strange pilgrimage, and I had not
planned it that way. At least the jar of instant coffee was not on the table, beside an
empty white cup and a spoon.
They say in the spring a young man's fancy turns to thoughts of love. Perhaps if he has
enough time left over, his fancy can even make room for a cup of coffee.

Lonely grey lady at McDonalds
Lonely Grey Lady At McDonalds
She has hunched over shoulders, looks under the weather
Grey streaked and unbrushed hair
Wears old worn out shoes and threadbare sweater
Seems lonely and lost, filled with despair
Lips move without sound, hands gesture at no one,
No one’s close by, no one’s around
Lonely old lady, so restless and winsome
Sadness and sorrow seems to surround
Sitting for hours, alone, sipping one coffee
Watching other customers come and go
Peering into other’s lives, staring intently
As if she could know them by watching them so
Two tables over, another lady is watching
The old lady talking to no one, and then,
Rises and walks to her side, smiling and nodding
Gives to her, her own sandwich and then pats her hand
Grey lady accepts it without saying a word
Nods slightly to acknowledge the kindness
Seems nervous and skittish, eyes like a wild bird
Stares into space, gaze distant and mindless
Aura of emptiness abounds within and around her
As she painfully rises and prepares to depart
Her invisible companions, talk and surround her
As she shuffles away, her life in her cart
Grey lady leaves me with a sense of wonder
That some people, so lonely, suffer so much
It seems indifferent fate, shreds some lives asunder
While blessing others with caring families warm touch
Most people live, complacent and uncaring
Of the family and friends that surround them
While many grey ladies exist, gesturing and staring
Sentenced for life in their own private sanctum

Picture yourself on the sea of a setting sun
The salty air and the taste of your lover's hair
Inside you want to fly
Ah, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi
Come to the magical mist where the oceans kissed
A thousand kisses or more on the sandy shore
And never says goodbye
Ah, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi
Ooh, La Costa, ooh
Ooh, La Costa, ooh
Come feel the warm of the breeze as the swaying trees
Caress the velvety skies like a whisper telling you to come and fly
Ah, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi
Musical Interlude
Run with the wind at your side let it set you free
I'll watch the sun in your eyes as the seagulls fly
Along this lover's isle
Ah, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi
You are my love and my life, you're my everything
You calm the sea of my soul oh so tenderly
It makes me very high
Ah, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi
Ooh La Costa, wee, ooh, wee
Ooh La Costa, ooh
Picture yourself on the sea...
Come feel the warm of the breeze..
La Costa....

How Does It Feel?
How does it feel when you're left sitting out in the cold?
How does it feel when you don't have nobody to hold?
I wanna know
Does it really really hurt you so?
Are you crying?
Are you dying?
Do you want her
Like I wanted you before?
How does it feel to just stare at the ceiling all night?
How do you feel knowing someone is holding her tight?
Please tell me true
Are you really really feeling blue?
Do you miss her?
Wanna kiss her?
Do you need her
Like I needed you before?
When you walked out on me

Caress the velvety skies like a whisper telling you to come and fly
Ah, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi
Musical interlude
Run with the wind at your side let it set you free
Ill watch the sun in your eyes as the seagulls fly
Along this lovers isle
Ah, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi
You are my love and my life, youre my everything
You calm the sea of my soul oh so tenderly
It makes me very high
Ah, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi, yi
Ooh la costa, wee, ooh, wee
Ooh la costa, ooh
Picture yourself on the sea...
Come feel the warm of the breeze..
La costa......
