An Alien... An Excuse
An alien wants to take me away
From this earth of too many aliens!
An alien
With no framed face nor a smiling face.
An alien
Who is all love and care for me.
May I go with him?
Stephen Hopkins gives his warning,
'Don`t play with the aliens'.
In fact all the aliens here have been just playing with me!
He knows not.
May I go with my one?
I shall go one day freeing myself
From all these frames of faces and their smiles.
I shall live in the mist of the Titan of Saturn
As no alien to my host.

A Fight For Your Life!
The super alien spies are all from Mars an’ bugger
By god they masquerade as coloured sugars,
An’ even name a chockie bar after their planet
Then cross the oceans on the back of a gannet
When you’re a youthful twenty
And live the life of plenty.
You think your body is invincible,
The enemy loves every part of your body
Aliens attach their weapons around you
To wear you and your heart apart,
Very clever to disguise their weapons as fat
Not just ordinary fat but wobbly jellified weapons
To fill your jeans an’ make you look full o beans.
This woeful plot the aliens ply for your heart to attack you
An’ die; don’t be fooled with those coloured sugars.
Run for your life buy some joggers an’ walk from the buggers
The irony is when you walk, those alien dormant sugars
Are forced from the tum to the leg muscles for power to kick those aliens In the butt and get you healthy wealthy and wise.
You see the light?
Get up from the couch and rise Sir Healthy Lot!

Illegal Alien
Got out of bed, wasnt feeling too good
With my wallet and my passport, a new pair of shoes
The sun is shining so I head for the park,
With a bottle of tequila, and a new pack of cigarettes
I got a cousin and she got a friend,
Who thought that her aunt knew a man who could help
At his apartment I knocked on the door,
He wouldnt come out until he got paid.
Now dont tell anybody what I wanna do
If they find out you know that theyll never let me through, cos
Its no fun being an illegal alien, no
Its no fun being an illegal alien
Down at the office had to fill out the forms
A pink one, a red one, the colours you choose,
Up to the counter to see what they think
They said it doesnt count man, it aint written in ink.
I dont trust anybody, least not around here, cos
Its no fun being an illegal alien, I tell ya
Its no fun being an illegal alien, no no no no no
Its no fun being an illegal alien, I mean it when I tell ya that
Its no fun being an illegal alien,
An illegal alien, o.k.
Consideration for your fellow man
Would not hurt anybody, it sure fits in with my plan
Over the border, there lies the promised land
Where everything comes easy, you just hold out your hand
Keep your suspicions, Ive seen that look before
But I aint done nothing wrong now, is that such a suprise
But Ive got a sister whod be willing to oblige
She will do anything now to help me get to the outside
So dont tell anybody what I wanna do
If they find out you know that theyll never let me through, because
Its no fun being an illegal alien, I tell ya
Its no fun being an illegal alien, and its getting me down
Its no fun being an illegal alien, no no no no no
Its no fun being an illegal alien, yeah yeah yeah
Its no fun (not much fun) being an illegal alien, I tell ya that
Its no fun being an illegal alien, I tell ya
Its no fun being an illegal alien, no no no
Its no fun (not bloody much fun) being an illegal alien,
Its no fun being an illegal alien, and thats what I am.

Is There Anyone Out There 2 There Is (Fun Poem 109)
I was working in a farm one day
when a pink and purple spaceship
landed on a bale of hay.
I gave a second look
making sure my yes did not deceive me.
Oh, there is was for sure
a pink and purple spaceship
perched on a bale of hay.
I looked at it for a while in disbelief,
then a door opened, and a series of steps extended.
Two brightly coloured aliens
emerged from the craft
and raised a hand in peace.
To duplicate the greeting
I raise my hand too
The shorter alien approached me.
I smiled and stuck my hand out.
They stuck a finger out
and touched one of mine.
A blue flash exploded
as our two fingers met.
Like a bolt of lightning,
I felt a tingling feeling inside.
The alien gave out a loud groan
and then collapsed on the ground.
“Oh my, what is wrong with them? ”
I asked as I went to pick up the alien.
The other alien joined me saying.
“They will be all right.
It is the first time with an earthling.”
“First time for what? ”
I wanted to know.
“First time for sex with an earthling.”
The alien declared. “Don’t worry;
my sister will be all right when she’s finished.”
I looked at both of them
and could not believe what I heard.
I had sex with an alien,
now that is absurd.
The alien carried his sister
back to their space ship
closed the door, took up the stairs
and off they went back out to space.
Several months went by
and that pink and purple spaceship
one day returned.
Only this time three aliens emerged.
One of them, the shortest one
had a strange resemblance to me.
The only difference being
was the colour it was bright florescent blue.
The second shortest,
the one I’d seen before
extended a finger and as it touched mine
the blue flash exploded once again.
They hurried back to their spaceship,
their work for the day done.
Months later when I saw them
there was half a dozen of them.
That concludes my story
of my alien family
and how it all began
with one big blue flash.

I Want An Alien For Christmas
This year for christmas
Theres something Id really like
So if youre up there somewhere santa
Please dont bring me another bike
I dont need any ugly sweaters
And I dont play much basketball
But theres something kinda special
That I want most of all...
I want an alien for christmas
Bring me an alien this year
I want a little green guy
About three feet high
With seventeen eyes
Who knows how to fly
I want an alien for christmas this year
He can live in the bath tub
So dont worry about a thing
And Ill take him out for walks
When it gets nicer in the spring
Ill always keep him company
Hell never be alone
And we can hang around the house all day
And watch the twilight zone
I want an alien for christmas
Bring me an alien this year
I want a little green guy
About three feet high
With seventeen eyes
Who knows how to fly
I want an alien for christmas this year
I want an alien for christmas
Bring me an alien this year
I want a little green guy
About three feet high
With seventeen eyes
Who knows how to fly
I want an alien for christmas this year
I want an alien for christmas this year

Moon Face
One day in June, if the facts are known,
or was it that the myths have grown
about you see what lay in the sky on
view to all 'till the day we die.
I mean the message drawn right across,
the purple-face where some alien being
dictated as the correct time and place,
to let us see how strong they were
before the invasion of what we all fear.
But the people laughed, some laughed
and cried because what the saw was a
dog, just like each one's mutt who had
only gone and died. But still the aliens
made a show, of the power of purple
that which makes our minds grow.
Ask any Hindu or Holy Man and watch
how his face set in a stare across the
sands, those sands of time change
and trickle in but he now asks if the
aliens come for blood to spill, thrill
or bend to their dog-brain, dogged will.

Englishman In New York
I dont take coffee I take tea my dear
I like my toast done on one side
And you can hear it in my accent when I talk
Im an englishman in new york
See me walking down fifth avenue
A walking cane here at my side
I take it everywhere I walk
Im an englishman in new york
Im an alien Im a legal alien
Im an englishman in new york
Im an alien Im a legal alien
Im an englishman in new york
If, manners maketh man as someone said
Then hes the hero of the day
It takes a man to suffer ignorance and smile
Be yourself no matter what they say
Im an alien Im a legal alien
Im an englishman in new york
Im an alien Im a legal alien
Im an englishman in new york
Modesty, propriety can lead to notoriety
You could end up as the only one
Gentleness, sobriety are rare in this society
At night a candles brighter than the sun
Takes more than combat gear to make a man
Takes more than a license for a gun
Confront your enemies, avoid them when you can
A gentleman will walk but never run
If, manners maketh man as someone said
Then hes the hero of the day
It takes a man to suffer ignorance and smile
Be yourself no matter what they say

Praying To The Aliens
Slowly the thought
There is no one to replace
Came into view
And he began to cry
Now only boys
That love only boys
The perfect picture
Of a boy/girl age
Im praying to the aliens
Im praying to the aliens
Grey overcoat
And he could be anyone
A random poll check
Do you ever think of women?
They broke him down
Into a torn old queen
Living somewhere
Between dead and dying
Im praying to the aliens
Im praying to the aliens
There are no more
Do you begin to see?
The corner of my eye
Could give me away
Isnt it strange
How times change?
I cant imagine
Living any other way
Im praying to the aliens
Im praying to the aliens

We Are The Aliens
WE ARE THE ALIENS
We are the aliens we are trying to fight,
we are from other planets we see in the telescopes at night.
Don’t think we haven’t been there before,
we have lived many lives, maybe millions or more.
So try and make an illusion of aliens in outer space,
we are own aliens killing each other every day.

The Real Aliens
We are all aliens
One way or the other
Seeing through different eyes
The things around us
Feeling differently
Towards each other
Fighting like aliens
In this world of
Ours ever since
The dawn of mankind
Aliens we are indeed
In our own world
Like wolves in sheep's clothings
We are cloaked as the human race
But in the core are the aliens
Divided and seething over
Every concern like
Where to live, what to eat
Who to wed and even
Who to offer our prayers to

Alien, Poor Alien
Introduction:
For centuries now Aliens have visited Earth we assume to study our culture. Then way back in 1958, Sheb Wooley in America told us about a strange little Alien who came to earth to join our culture and play Rock and Roll. His name was the Purple People Eater. His story was continued by J P Richardson (The Big Bopper) in Purple People Eater Meets The Witch Doctor. It seemed now that the Aliens were getting into the swing of things. Of course, that didn’t last long and they went back to observing us. Trawling through some of my lost files the other day I found that the purple guy wasn’t the only one who wanted to play Rock and Roll. There was another one who will remain nameless for contract reasons and latent sex appeal, and this is his story I am about to recount. He visited us in the late 1970’s.
David Harris - 13 September 2009
There stands the ragged troubadour
dusty guitar in his hands
serenading the crowd
gathering around the hot dog van.
He persists between the jeers, yells
and insults thrown at him.
Then he tried to pass the plate
only to have it tossed back again.
Next he tried the cinema queue
the taxman had hit them hard;
serenading wasn’t easy
to a group from the Palace guard.
Their bayonets were at the ready
and boy they were sharp.
Oh how he wished he brought a band
with soloist on a harp.
Last, he tried the bingo hall,
but they didn’t want to know
leaving like a Buffalo heard
trampled him into the snow.
By now he’d had enough,
no more could he stand
and went back to his saucer
stamped made in Japan.
Alien, poor Alien
didn’t he know
Earth is no place to land
to join a Rock and Roll show.

The Female Human Being
I‘ve searched for aliens all my life,
Ever since I was a child,
From distant planets to far away stars,
My quest is driving me wild.
I'm not sure what I'm looking for,
As nobody's written a draft,
Could it be a small green man,
From a silver disc shaped craft.
Or could it be they're already here,
Perhaps they live in the sea,
Or is it really possible,
It could even be you or me.
That's really not as daft as it sounds,
We have strange creatures here,
They get stoned and out of their heads,
On drugs and potent beer.
When we see them lose their minds,
They then enter outer space,
Their behaviour is alien to all around,
They are not of the human race.
I don't think that is accurate though,
Aliens would have more sense,
Humans beings are quite unique, ,
Could our visitors be so dense.
Perhaps there's nobody out there,
They've been here all along,
I think I know the answer,
It's for you to prove me wrong.
Some say we live among them,
Their attitude can be aloof,
They live within a twilight world,
All we need now is the proof.
Their powers of persuasion,
Cannot be denied,
One look from those piercing eyes,
Can make you feel you've died.
Their intelligence is far superior,
So much so it's out of sight,
They make us feel inferior,
As when wrong they're always right.
They love to dress in fancy clothes,
With a room for shoes alone,
never ask why they need so many,
or you'll hear a sickly groan.
If you do something exceptional,
Your story they will edit,
They'll make you think it wasn't you,
Then they'll take all the credit.
They can make us feel incompetent,
Then make us feel our best,
Drive us bloody mental,
Or fill us all with zest.
When we do the cleaning up,
They'll say you've left a pong,
Despite all your best efforts,
You can guarantee it's wrong
When they get themselves upset,
We'll say, oh what a shame,
Then they'll claim it's all your fault,
You're the one to blame.
By trying to outsmart them,
You are being so unwise,
They can and will outwit you,
Which will lead to your demise.
Beware if you upset them,
They can be really mean,
If you make them angry,
You will see them turning green.
If they ask, do I look fat in this,
Say no my dear, of course,
If you tell the bloody truth,
you'll feel what is, ‘' The Force ‘'.
If you're seen with one of their species,
They become quite over zealous,
They change back to their alien state,
As they can be pretty jealous.
What species could have so much power,
They're impossible to outsmart,
Their culture is from another world,
They are truly a breed apart.
The problem with these aliens is,
If you take one on a date,
When they think they like you,
They'll expect you to be their mate.
They are the ultimate Extra Terrestrial,
Their abilities are all seeing,
This species is known to man as,
‘' The Female Human Being ‘'
Epilogue (Nothing 'Bout Me)
I don't drink coffee, I take tea my dear.
I like my toast done on one side,
and you can hear it in my accent when I talk.
I'm an Englishman in New York.
You see me walking down Fifth Avenue,
a walking cane here at my side;
I take it ev'rywhere I walk.
I'm an Englishman in New York.
Whoa
I'm an alien,
I'm a legal alien;
I'm an Englishman in New York.
Whoa
I'm an alien,
I'm a legal alien;
I'm an Englishman in New York.

Alien
Cuts to the quick, pure emotion a trip
No world of life
Pressed to your lips
We collide, slowly twist, our dance alive
Seeps into the ground, kisses the earth and I am found
Loves young dream could be alien, strange ways I would fly
Tuning love like a radio, whispering goodbye
Just so it seems, softly potent, serene
Vacant and shy
You are everywhere, under my skin and in my hair
Loves young dream could be alien, strange ways I would fly
Tuning love like a radio, whispering goodbye
Seeps into the ground, kisses the earth and I am found
Loves young dream could be alien, strange ways I would fly
Tuning love like a radio, whispering goodbye
Loves young dream could be alien, strange ways I would fly
Tuning love like a radio, whispering goodbye

Tuning love like a radio, whispering goodbye
Love some dream could be serene, so alien

Aliens
A glass of beer and the smoking of cigarettes!
What is the meaning of your name and,
Where do you come from?
For, you are either black or white around me;
However, whether you like it or not,
There are illegal people all over the world today in every country.
We are all aliens in this world and,
I am only here in your land because of your love;
But, the words of my parents will always guide me on.
Campus life,
My love to you is like Disneyland!
But, the rain came and i was lost on my way;
However, i will always remember your muse.
Cottage grove,
Coconut grove,
And like the sun's rays through these green leaves;
For the wind of Autumn is now around me,
And, the streets are now empty.
Aliens on this earth,
There are illegal people all over the world today in every country!
And like a cup of coffee with sugar and milk;
But, i am in this small village to think of my life.
Aliens everywhere! !
With a cap on my head and a cup of tea beside me;
But think about it and be very wise!
For, we are all aliens on this earth.

How To Kill An Alien In 3 Stages
How to kill an Alien in three stages
1 Get the low down on them
ie dress code skin colour habits and Alien Medical history
Learn about their home planet their political and intellectual powers of reasoning
Investigate their toilet habits, diet and get an Alien medical history
Meaning Alien history that is alien to you
A list of allergies
1 Invite them to dinner
Find out if they are 'dairy intolerant'
Offer them milkshake disguised as a lamp shade some Alien's eat lampshades for the fibre
Give ghem cheese sandwhich disguised as a piece of caramelised carpet
2 speak in sub titles to confuse them
3Play spinning tops with their head and wait for the dairy to take effect
until they final bloat and explode
CLEAN All SURFACE GRIME away with damp cloth
Leave debri for forensics and phone MI6
speak in clipped foreign language that is indistinguishable and reeks of espionage
Finally 'phone home'

Lovin' The Alien (extended 12" Dance-mix)
Watching them come and go
The templars and the saracens
They're traveling the holy land
Opening telegrams oh ho
Torture comes and torture goes
Knights who'd give you anything
They bear the cross of coeur de leon
Salvation for the mirror blind oh ho
But if you pray all your sins are hooked upon the sky
Pray and the heathen lie will disappear
Prayers they hide the saddest view
(Believing the strangest things, loving the alien)
And your prayers they break the sky in two
(Believing the strangest things, loving the alien)
Thinking of a different time
Palestine a modern problem
Bounty and your wealth in land
Terror in a best laid plan
Watching them come and go
Tomorrows and the yesterdays oh ho
Christians and the unbelievers
Hanging by the cross and nail oh ho
But if you pray all your sins are hooked upon the sky
Pray and the heathen lie will disappear oh ho
Prayers they hide the saddest view
(Believing the strangest things, loving the alien)
And your prayers they break the sky in two
(Believing the strangest things, loving the alien)
You pray till the break of dawn
(Believing the strangest things, loving the alien)
And you'll believe you're loving the alien
(Believing the strangest things, loving the alien)
Believeing the strangest things (loving the alien)

Martian Abduction
They spoke to aliens on the bridge,
Who were the faces? What could we envisage?
The aliens subjected us to torture,
When we met them, who was the abductor?
It was a Martian of red colour,
The colour of magic and creature.
I love it not for the pain it created,
And the suffering with which it abducted.
