Every Day A New Mourning
Considered once a creative man, whose mind
Was charged with life and learning, now at 86,
He sits and looks away in fleeting recollection.
Each day, like a dark shadow of mildew,
This thief of memory covers more
The brillance of his mind.
Unaware of yesterday, oblivious of tomorrow,
His sits in limbo, lost in the night of dementia,
That obscure land between the extinction of his faculties,
And the significance of his existence,
He asks again, the question asked before:
'Where is my brother? '
'He is gone, ' she said, 'He is dead.'
Each time, in grief, he is momentarily satisfied,
Until the drift of mind recurs again, and asks
The same as asked before.
With moaning spirit, he is left to weep and grieve anew.
Seeking a somewhere out of nowhere,
He enters into the gaping jaws of nothingness,
And disappears.

What is Life? What is its Meaning?
What is Life?
When mind enters the matter,
matter develops the mind,
Truth that splits into Three,
It is like fragile glass tree,
Three roots Father, spirit and Son,
Turn that hour glass,
the time starts with
Fusion of gametes,
In the game of love,
Father sits on throne,
Spirit fuels thirst, hunger and desires,
One day life itself starts wondering what is Life?
When life gets kicks for its desires and deeds,
Stands up and asks,
What is meaning of Life?
When metabolism shifts equilibrium,
Rate of catebolism exceeds anobolic rate,
Then starts thinks about fate!
What is the meaning of life?
The life finds answer in life itself,
Life finds answer in its question itself,
Father, spirit and Son trinity,
When son is full of spirit,
Wants to eat, drink, dance and make merry,
Forgets he has to cross the great ferry!
but when spirit stops fueling life, the son,
Thinks of father and sits somewhere alone,
In solitude looks at and screams
O, Father where are you?
When life learns neither matter, nor the mind,
But the truth that became God and satan,
The tree and the serpent,
Mind that was in confusion,
Asking what is Life,
Learns that life is not that,
Neither friend nor foe of life itself,
Only that confusion,
like a boy went to a fair to
purchase trained horse for race,
but lost its money on amusement
only able to purchase an old useless ass!
Life is like that,
If life rides life, life gets kicks and reach a dead end!
If life is led by life, life can live life full of bliss than full of fun and fun to other life it becomes,
When slips footing on its own shit,
Instead of flying like inter galactic space ship!

The Question
Joy flows through my heart
As I think of the one question that put the grin on my face
As I think of how this will start
And as I feel my mind being covered in this happy lace
I think of the feeling I got when you asked me
When you asked me to be yours
I think of it and smile as so you can see
I feel my heart becoming full
I feel my mind screaming with joy
For now my life won’t be dull
As I think of how I can say “that’s my boy”
I remember the light that you put into my eyes
When I think of the feeling of love
I rember how I have entered the bliss and left the demise
And how my feelings rise above
I hear your name and now I can say “he’s mine”
And I can tell people how I feel
When someone asks how I am I can see more than fine
The love for you in my heart no one can steal

Limbo
Written: kylie minogue/ dave ball/ ingo vauk
I see them all smiling
Those all around me
They tend to my wounds and alert my senses
And it would be nice
But Im not here
Im dreaming holding on
Time has no meaning
All of it wasted
It smothers me til theres no more air
When will it be
That I can breathe again
Im waiting in the void
(limbo)
Lost in limbo
(limbo)
Limbo limbo
(limbo)
Lost in limbo
(limbo)
This notion of needing
Has held me to ransom
And all I can do is avoid my mind
Dont make me speak
Or hear or look
Because Im hurting help me out
(limbo)
Lost in limbo
(limbo)
Limbo limbo
(limbo)
Lost in limbo
(limbo)
Im in limbo
Im killing time
Im killing time
Caught in the crossfire
Nobody gets it
Im finding it hard to contain myself
Take all my trust
And faith and hope
Until I need it once again

I Told Myself
I told myself
You do love me
Is it really true?
She asked me
I told myself
You care for me
Are you really sure?
She asked me
I told myself
You do miss me
As often as you?
She asked me
I told myself
You need me too
Are you guessing?
She asked me
I told myself
You never tell me
Why on Earth?
She asked me
I told myself
You hide a lot…
Is that friendship?
She asked me
I told myself
You think too much
Does he not feel?
She asked me
Tell me, my love
What shall I say?
To all those queries
That she asked me...
How should I answer?
What should I ponder?
Tell me the truth
For she still asks me...
You For Me
And Me For You
Is it the Future?
One last Question
She did ask me.
I don’t have the answers
Yet she keeps asking me…
May be, she knows,
One day, one moment
You’ll let her know
How you feel for me...

Making Time And Finding Comfort
I awakened today,
With yesterday on my mind.
And the day before.,
Along with those days before that...
Gone but obviously not forgotten.
And I asked myself...
Why are times I can not change,
Making time and finding comfort in my mind?
And giving me a reason to trip,
With 'what 'ifs'?
I awakened today,
With yesterday on my mind.
And the day before.,
Along with those days before that...
Gone but obviously not forgotten.
And I asked myself...
'If it is time you want to waste,
Why can't you take some of it...
And clean up your house? '
Needless to say...
I thought that comment was extremely rude.
So I left.
Determined to return when I felt like it.

As
As around the sun the earth knows shes revolving
And the rosebuds know to bloom in early may
Just as hate knows loves the cure
You can rest your mind assure
That Ill be loving you always
As now cant reveal the mystery of tomorrow
But in passing will grow older every day
Just as all is born is new
Do you know what I say is true
That Ill be loving you always
Until the rainbow burns the stars out in the sky
Until the ocean covers every mountain high
Until the day that 8x8x8 is 4
Until the day is the day that are no more
Did you know that true love asks for nothing
Her acceptance is the way we pay
Did you know that life has given love a guarantee
To last through forever and another day
As today I know Im living but tomorrow
Could make me the past
But that I mustnt fear
I know deep in my mind
The love of me Ive left behind
Cause Ill be loving you always
Until the rainbow burns the stars out in the sky
Until the ocean covers every mountain high
Until the dolphin flies and parrots live at sea
Until we dream of live and live becomes a dream
Until the day is night and night becomes the day
Until the trees and seas just up and fly away
Until the day that 8x8x8 is 4
Until the day that is the day that are no more
Did you know that true love asks for nothing
Her acceptance is the way we pay
Did you know that life has given love a guarantee
To last through forever and another day

Killing The Mind And Time
Killing the mind and time. Mentally broken. Helpless in a cage full of rage. So many stages deformity. A slow and painful process. One day you'll remember nothing. Its better then the dark places you walk now. Be the strength when their should be none to be found. Everything is coming down. Killing the mind and time. A constant presence of a life that's rewinding. Undermining the logic of decades. Slow the pictures fade. Staring in the nothingness. Your body still here but your already gone. Play the guitar, play your song. To forget is so wrong. Killing the mind and time. I rather be blind. Then be one of the constantly confused. Words come out but they make no sense. The absence of the here now. You are asked, 'who current president is? ' They say j.f.k. This becomes such a horrible day. Killing the mind and time. This curse continues to get worse. The basic abilities go. Self deification. Public masturbation. No clue of the truth. A nightmare in which their is no cure. Yet its being constantly searched for. Million for the cause. But we are only able to slow it down. A pathalogical breakdown. Regrets that will stay in the back of my head. Put on my happy face cause you are not yet dead. Killing the mind and time.
-Dedicated to families who have someone who has had strokes, has vascular dementia, alzhiemers, or a similar brain condition which cause them to forget.

We all lie...all day long
“Good morning! ! ”
(But it’s not,
It’s cold and windy)
“How ya doin’? ”
(as if I could really give
a rat’s rear end)
“Oh I’m doin’ just great and you? ”
(Please, puleeze,
don’t tell me!)
Have a seat, I’ll buy you a coffee!
(he always sits… and
I always buy)
Wanna read part of my paper?
(No! No! Don’t take the crossword…
…He does)
“How’s my health? Couldn’t feel better! ”
(There’s not a part of my body
That doesn’t hurt like hell!)
“How about that Ben Laden? ” he asks
(he’s dead, I’m glad, and
I’m tired of hearing his name)
“Gotta busy day ahead of you? ” he asks
(yeah right! Outta work, outta cash, outta sight,
outta mind! And runnin’ outta patience)
“Yeah, I always stay busy”
(and this is likely to be
The busiest part of my day!)
“Ya think we’re gonna whip those Taliban? ”
“Yep” I reply. (after another trillion dollars
And a few thousand more young boys die!)
“Well I’m afraid I messed up your crossword” he says
“No problem ol’ buddy” I say
(you ornery ol’ bastard, bumbling, sumbitch!)
“Hey ya reckon we’re gonna whip those Taliban? ”
“Yep” I reply (while thinking
if he asks that one more time, he’s gonna die)
“Well gotta be goin. See ya tomorrow ol buddy, take care! ” says he
and you know…when I sit down in this booth tomorrow
I’ll really miss him… if that pain in the ass is not there…
(And Ya know? That’s no lie!)

Cowardice asks the question - is it safe?
Vanity asks the question - is it popular?
Expediency asks the question - is it political?
But conscience asks the question - is it right?
There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, popular, or political; but because it is right.

His vocabulary
her vocabulary
every word fits into its space
like a classroom
her vocabulary
each word carries its own weight
as it files into my mind
her vocabulary
notes of the morning birds
that strain to sing
her vocabulary
my mind polished
like silver
her vocabulary
the calisthenics of her mind
in my mind
her vocabulary
the precision of her mind
etched onto my heart
her vocabulary
sublime as a glass of
evening whisky
her vocabulary
strikes like
glitters of diamonds
his vocabulary
my brain has no space
to breathe
his vocabulary
every piece of writing
has become a thesis
his vocabulary
he asks to take him
as he is
his vocabulary
she feels he is not true
to his own feelings
his vocabulary
she asks it is weaned from
dictionary or experience
his vocabulary
she asks he is out to impress
or express

Dead Boys Poem
The child sits and weeps,
How could this be all that matters,
Why did this have to hurt so deep,
How could this be life?
The child sits with the pain inside,
He sits with his heart in his chest,
‘How could I have died? ’
Is all he thinks, he forgets the rest.
The child’s eyes closed so tight,
His fists clenched so strong
He feels the night,
He knows everything that happened was wrong.
The child stands and looks into the houses light
He stares at not the window,
Not at the sight,
Yet only for the weeping widow.
The child stands holding the gun,
The gun he died holding,
As he remembers his father killing him, his only son
He remembers his father scolding.
He knows he took a life,
Yet he knows his father took his,
He remembers not the taking of his father’s life,
Only the pain of his father stealing his.
His eyes so dark,
His mind so lost,
His hand tracing deaths mark,
As he remembers it’s cost.
He remembers the scene, the time,
He remembers the look in his father’s face,
He remembers doing the crime,
He remembers seeing the pain in his father’s face.
But then his memory stops,
And reality takes place,
For this is when he dropped,
This is when life left his face.
He walks past,
To eternity; to roam
Of all his memories this shall be his last
For this is the dead boy’s poem.

Empty Promised Land
The clock is ticking on the wall the world is spinning
while the billions work to justify their lives.
They search for meaning in their useless sense of breeding
in their quest for recognition when they die.
Because ego won't permit belief in our mortality
so we manufactured our delusioned lie.
We believe with much conviction in our useless superstition
that our lives are bigger than life.
The man on TV preaches his beliefs to me
and says that I am doomed because I don't think like him.
He asks for contributions for his sermons convolutions,
in return is absolution for your sins.
I watch in disbelief as people try and shed their grief
because they can't accept the things that they've become.
They blindly patronize a dogmatic pack of lies
that tell them Jesus is their chosen one.
Strictly designed for the weak of mind,
not just the working man's opiate anymore.
Paralyzed minds all seeking the sublime
with all doubt ruled out by their faith in the divine.
All of them seeking that same righteous reward.
Weak of mind and born to follow,
do not question the beliefs you swallow.
Eternal life for your belief in man,
welcome to the empty promised land.
Don't think, don't breathe, don't live, just believe.
With no question just devotion lifeless life living in transit

Sinners, Turn, Why Will Ye Die?
Sinners, turn, why will ye die?
God, your Maker, asks you why?
God, who did your being give,
Made you with himself to live -
He the fatal cause demands,
Asks the work of his own hands,
Why, ye thankless creatures, why
Will ye cross his love, and die?
Sinners, turn, why will ye die?
God, your Saviour, asks you why?
God, who did your souls retrieve,
Died himself, that ye might live;
Will you let him die in vain?
Crucify your Lord again?
Why, ye ransomed sinners, why
Will you slight his grace, and die?
Sinners, turn, why will ye die?
God, the Spirit, asks you why?
He who all your lives hath strove,
Wooed you to embrace his love:
Will you not his grace receive?
Will you still refuse to live?
Why, ye long-sought sinners, why
Will you grieve your God, and die?
Dead, already dead within,
Spiritually dead in sin,
Dead to God while here you breathe,
Pant ye after second death?
Will you still in sin remain,
Greedy of eternal pain?
O ye dying sinners, why,
Why will you for ever die?

Pay For What You Get
Work ourselves, fingers to the bone
Suck the morrow, drain my soul
Pay your dues, and your debts
Pay your respects, everybody tells you
You pay for what you get
You pay for what you get
Everybody asks me how shes doing
Has she really lost her mind?
I said, I couldnt tell you Ive lost mine
Words, words, words have you heard
A bird in hand is much better than,
Any number free to wander
Fly away...
Stay
You pay for what you get
You pay for what you get
Everybody asks me how shes doing
Has she really lost her...
Everybody asks me how shes doing
Since she went away
I said I couldnt tell
Im okay
Im okay
Im okay, how are you?
Pay for what you get...
Pay for what you get...oh...
Pay for what you get...
Pay for what you get...
Oh...

Never Can Forget That Memory
Deep in the darkest
Part of my head
There is a memory
Of how I saw you dead
It sits there
Alone
In the shadows of depth
A memory of you
That I have kept
It wants to come out
Of this dark scary place
But it is a memory
I could never erase
It sits there
Alone through day and night
listening to everything
I hear
And say
I want it to leave
And never come back
To leave me alone
The feeling if sadness
To go away
So that I can
Once again
See
The light of day

The Satisfied Mind
With a mind thats satisfied
With a mind thats satisfied
That big ice cream cone in the sky
Floats right on by
The satisfied mind never needs more
It never forgets whatever its for
Beyond control of hot and cold
With a mind thats satisfied
Each one goes together alone
With a mind thats satisfied
In the middle of a heat wave
An ice cold drink is a major find
In the long dead end of winter
Frozen lovers dream of fire
With a mind thats satisfied
With a mind thats satisfied
Lucky ones learn that love is blind
They dont deny
The satisfied mind never needs more
Never regrets and never keeps score
In the middle of a heat wave
An ice cold drink is a major find
Simple facts you can depend on
Bits and pieces of desire
With a mind thats satisfied
That big ice cream cone floats on by
With a mind thats satisfied
Lucky ones learn that love is blind
With a mind thats satisfied
The satisfied mind is satisfied

The Real And The Ideal
I feel I have - and who has not?
An inner and outer life:
The one may be a dreary lot,
With sorrow and with suff'ring rife;
While in the other may be found
A magic world of fancies fair,
Where brightest dreams of joy abound,
And never enters dark despair.
The life I live may seem to those
Who gaze upon it outwardly
A drear existence, full of woes
And never-ceasing misery;
But in the mystic life of mind,
Abstracted from earth's things of sense,
Oblivious to my grief, I find
A joy exalted and intense.
My outward life is prison-gloomed,
My life of dreams is fancy free;
The one is ever care-consumed,
The other tranquil as can be.
Existence that is sternly real
As mine would crush the heart with grief,
Were it not that the bright ideal
With visioned joy imparts relief.
There's not a joy the world can give,
There's not a bliss the heart has known,
But in the spirit life I live
I have the power to make my own.
I care not what my actual lot
While thus sustained my soul can be;
My sorrows shall be all forgot
In fairest dreams of poesy.
