I can write the saddest lines tonight.

Memories Of The Beach
We went to the beach to get wind in our hair
to stand on the sand and simply to stare.
To let the surf tickle toes and dampen our clothes
as we played 'run away'
from the wavelets at play.
We went to the beach to climb on the rocks
find cool shallow pools where we'd take of our socks,
and peer in the waters to see what we might find
that the waves of the sea,
had last left behind.
We went to the beach to find coloured shells
the kind that when placed to our ears
make the sound of the ocean appear,
and gathered rocks that we never would find
in the places we walked,
for most of the time.
We went to the beach and all that, we did find
and the smell of the salt refreshed our tired minds.
I'll never forget the laughter and sounds
and the freedom to run,
on that wet sandy ground.
We went to the beach my family and I
and there we were one,
with the ocean, the beach, and the sky.

I can't believe that I trusted you
After many years together
All the times you lie to me
But I believed you so much

But I did not care

I am unable
To move from here to there,
Feeling sometimes like disable,
Coping with the agony of what I think is not fair...
Living in a city of glass, concrete and steel,
Still free to tell the whole world what I feel,
While dealing with people of wry concern
In a time of struggle and stern...
Even when taking all the cautious prevention
Sometimes, I still feel I lose,
Sight of life in desperation

In trying to reach my ultimate goal,

Touches
How can I touch,
touch my God?
How many ways,
can my God touch me?
How can I see,
see Him with clarity?
How can my God,
in his world see me?
Along the paths I travel,
how can I tell?
My God walks with me?
What sign will He foretell?
When I reach out,
reach out through pain.
Will my God reach down,
take my pain, let me sustain?
How can I know,
when fear robs my sight?
Will my God really lead me,
‘til finally I depart the night?
Each creation I caress,
my God I touch lovingly.
Each prayer I find answered,
my God, has touched me.
When in darkness I grope,
His sun allows me to see.
I know in my heart,
my God never, lost sight of me.

Best Of The Best

Even the best of the best tend to fall
When they lose their faith
They lose it all.
Not many of us will see that guiding light
That sends our hearts into flight.
They say that some are born to preach
And the word of god is easy to teach.
While there are so many others who search in vain
To help relieve the inner pain.
Many think they are better than others
Yet they call us their sisters and brothers.
Which one has the furthest to fall?
This is when Isaac Newton s theory comes into play.
If they both weigh the same, and are dropped from the same height
They will both reach the ground at the same time.
That being the case - why would they think
That they are better than us?
"When in god " we all put our trust..
Whether we are the best of the best
And the cream of the crop
A base is needed to reach the top.
