The scent of her filled my nose
As I gently held her face and kissed

I was taken into a world of total bliss
How can a man actually feel this way

This was like a fairytale coming true
And I didn’t know what to do
I know that love plays many roles
And has many faces, and may leave
Inward scars and yet no traces
I am bewildered and dumbfounded
For what I feel and see
How can this be happening to me?
This is the kind of love that you read in books
And my life and love it has took
They say that men are supposed to be void
Of words and expressions such as these
But my heart it does please
Women are the lifeline of humanity
Without them where would man be?
They are so many things rolled into one
They brighten our days like the rising sun
Friends, schoolmates, co workers
Lovers and mothers
So many different hats that they must wear
And all of these with us they share
So when a man feels that his is a storybook love
Don’t knock it, because it came from above

Professing their loves till the bitter end
So why is it that we tend to hide

Kisses
You've kissed a hundred girls by now
and never found the one
whose kisses taste like cherry wine
and warm you like the sun.
But when it is you touch my lips
and brush them soft and sweet,
You'll lay your life before me
and feel like you're complete.
For I, my love have saved my lips,

Sensuous Lips (THE DEPTH OF MAN)
I kissed the most sensuous lips that I ever saw.
The most sensuous lips and I wanted more.
Her lips so soft, so gentle, so moist.
And the whispering of her voice.
Why is it that you love my lips so?
Is there something that I should know?
I said: when I kiss your lips I feel like
I am floating on air, and it relieves
All my worries and cares.

Are you lonely, my love
the love of your life
loves another man?
Are you in pain, my love

needs the other man?

Everyday Is A Poem To Me
the people i love
and talk to, in some ways, do not talk
candidly, perhaps because of too much love, not really unspoken
because they want to hide it,
it is just because, i know, there are no exact words
to describe
what they feel,
it is
the same with me, feelings thriving but the inability to speak
is there, and so we use such symbols as a touch
of the hand
or a blush on the cheek, or some fingers landing at the back
of our soft skins
one need not say what longing and loving is
the lips have more to say
in fact, than the words coming from the mouth
or the mere
laying of her head on my shoulders
oh, the hug and that gaze and the clasping of my hands
to her hands,
such sensitivity that makes us feel
every rising of the hair
not in fear, but in the absence of letters fit
for the feeling

and then the parting and meeting again
