On the Phone

I heard just a voice on the phone.
I never knew words could turn me on.
But her soft sensual voice and her
verbal description peak my interest.
And the more she talked the more
excited I became. But when she
became breathless that when I
reached my full climax.
I never knew words could turn me on.
But they did on the phone.

Excited

Excited
Mean to me is
Ready to get something
I been waiting for
Like my permit or CD/DVD/Phone

Excited
Is one thing
I don't keep
Doing because
It's go to turn into bad luck

Excited
On the other hand
When I want something so bad it can happen
All I have to do is be patient and
It can be a good thing

Excited
Can mean so much
Like getting this feeling
When you are with someone you love so much
You just can't stop feeling like that

Excited
Is expressed on my face of how I
Feel right now
I just want to let it out and
Be crazy
Excited

The Phone Call

Sitting alone at home one day, I decided to
call a loved one who lived far away.
As I picked up the phone
I heard a voice on the other side say.
I missed you son, for it seems
that you have strayed.
Who is this? Who are you?
Why do you call me son? I don’t know you?
How can you not know me? You pray to me every day.
And in your prayers you always say:
My father I am not worthy to receive you.
But! I believe in you.
So I ask of you from my heart
To protect all my family members
Both near and far.
This is one phone call that I do not often make
But I do it now, while you are awake.
I need you to spread my word
So that in this era my voice can be heard.
I need their attention, for there is so much
Yet to do, for this world is to be saved
And that’s why I come to you.
Mankind is destroying all that I have done
And if they continue they’ll never see the sun.
How many signs must I give
in order for them to begin to live.
I have shown them tsunamis, earthquakes
Hurricanes and such.
How much more? isn’t this enough!
The voices of the people drowning out
All the other sounds, letting the politicians
Know That peace can be found.

My words will always prevail
Seek and you will not fail.

The Next Voice You Hear

Gather your deeds and your possessions,
Whatever certainty youve known,
Forget your heroes,
You dont really need those lasting lessons.
Stand in the open;
The next voice you hear will be your own.
But, alright, they knew how they could hurt you,
And you let them cut you to the bone.
But God forbid,
You allow them to rid you of your virtue!
Forget their laughter;
The next voice you hear will be your own.
The next voice you hear...
The next voice you hear...
The next voice you hear...
The next voice you hear...
The next voice you hear...
The next voice you hear will be your own.
Throw down your truth and check your weapons.
Dont look to see if youre alone,
Just stand your ground,
And dont turn around -- whatever happens.
Dont ask directions;
The next voice you hear will be your own.
The next voice you hear...
The next voice you hear...
The next voice you hear...
The next voice you hear...
The next voice you hear...
The next voice you hear will be your own.

I Thought I Heard You Calling My Name

(Lee Emerson)
I said goodbye to you this mornin'
With only these words to explain
I said I'd found someone Ilove better
But I still hear your voice call my name
I thought I heard you callin' my name
Funny, I still feel this way.
Your voice seem so close, but I knew
That by now you were many miles away
--- Instrumental ---
I walk through the streets of the city
People passing by think it's so strange
I'm talkin' but there's no one beside me
I thought I heard you call my name
I thought I heard you callin' my name
Funny I still feel this way
Your voice seems so close but I knew
That by now you're many miles away
I thought I heard you callin' my name...

She Came In Through Bathroom Window

She came in through the bathroom window
Protected by a silver spoon
But now she sucks her thumb and wanders
By the banks of her own lagoon
Didn't anybody tell her?
Didn't anybody see?
Sunday's on the phone to Monday
Tuesday's on the phone to me
She said she'd always been a dancer
She worked at 15 clubs a day
And though she thought I knew the answer
Well I knew what I could not say
And so I quit the police department
And got myself a steady job
And though she tried her best to help me
She could steal but she could not rob
Didn't anybody tell her?
Didn't anybody see?
Sunday's on the phone to Monday
Tuesday's on the phone to me
Oh yeah

The Echo

I heard my voice come back to me.
The echo of it yearned to be
free to travel and be heard,
free to echo out each word.

I yelled some sounds and patiently
awaited their return to me.
All was fine until I said
words to turn my face quite red.

Racy words that I'd never say,
words that could be called risque.
When they came back it sounded worse
than if I yelled a blatant curse.

Embarrassed to hear my voice repeat,
I closed my mouth and did retreat
away from the place that echoed me,
praying these words would not be free
to travel anywhere.

Hey You, On The Phone

You,
On the phone...
You can be much more than what I see,
But you wont.
You can be much better than just 'be',
To condone.
But you wont,
And you don't.
But you wont,
And you don't.
But you wont,
And you don't.

Hey you,
On the phone...
You can be much more than what I see,
But you wont.
You can be much better than just 'be',
To condone.
But you wont,
And you don't.
But you wont,
And you don't.
But you wont,
And you don't.

All you want to do is stomp around and rock.
And,
Talk on the phone.
Or text mess. at home.

All you want to do is groan and shock a lot.
And,
Talk on the phone.
Or text mess. at home.
And,
Turn away to turn your back...
On something someone ask you to do.
Yes you do.
But...
You want someone there who just can't get there quicker for you.
Yes you do.

Yes you,
On the phone...
You can be much more than what I see,
But you wont.
You can be much better than just 'be',
To condone.
But you wont,
And you don't.
But you wont,
And you don't.
But you wont,
And you don't.

Hey you,

You can be much more than what I see,

You can be much better than just 'be',
To condone.
But you wont,
And you don't.
But you wont,
And you don't.
But you wont,
And you don't.

Hey you,
On the phone...
You can do much better.
Hey you,
On the phone...
You can do much better.
Hey you,
On the phone...
You can do much better.
But you wont,
And you don't.
But you wont,
And you don't.

A Midnight Caller

The sound of Dakota by Stereophonics,
The periodic sound of my ringtone,
In that moment sub-conciousness,
There goes the midnight caller,
Like a phantom she whispers soft words,
Like a baby I concentrate unto her,
She tells me she couldnt sleep,
Only my voice could rescue her,
Jailed in her iron cell,
Of solitude in a lonely night,
She is a midnight caller

Her voice so penetrative like winter winds,
Sending an impulse down to my toes,
My night is changed for the better,
Like she is right there with me,
My pillow knnows her voice,
So does my linen sheets,
In the silence of the dark nights,
Stereophonics, Dakota plays again,
Goodnight wishes again and again,
She is a midnight caller

Midnight, my seasonal best friend,
Only in need not in deed,
Approach faster, I have fallen in love,
Starring at my fone waiting for your call
To regain hope lost in the morning,
To revitalise moral lost in the afternoon,
Winning what I lost during sunset,
Your words like a bundle of joy
She id a midnight caller

She knows the most perfect time,
When muscles are relaxed, perfectly,
When the brain is at ease,
Who taught her such,
She got it better than everyone,
Bright enough to shine my night,
Dont hold the phone on me,
My ear hungers for you sweet one,
Oh my, she is a midnight caller

Its like a new world in my bed,
My room a fantasyland,
Your words turn the lights on,
They kiss away the fright,
And certainly they turn me on,
Your last words,
Two big tears rolling down my cheeks
She steals my heart by night,
Waiting upon her call,
Dakota, please play along,
She makes my night,
She is a midnight caller

The Things You Say

Words
Said in a careless huff as you walked away
Hurt
Words
Said in a whispered excited voice
Caused electricity in me
Words
Said in a caring loving way
Were a balm for the wound in me
Words
Said in an angry menacing way
Felt like daggers thrown at me
Words
Said like sugary sweet morning due
Caused my knees to go weak
Words
Words, Words, Words..
Your words have so much power over me
Words
Said like a magic spell
Have enchanted me
Words
You throw around those words so carelessly
Do you know
Words
How they have been affecting and inflicting me..

Winter Of Discontent

The phone rang a day before Christmas a message I knew would come
but would not like to hear. Mother had died and there was a great haste
now before the festive season. Yet in my despair I picked up the phone
and rang her number in the hope it had all been a dreadful mistake…any
minute now she will answer be glad to hear my voice; and she would tell
me I’m susceptible to cold and remember to wear a scarf.
Fully awake I rushed to the airport, sorry fully booked till after Christmas.
“Please if there is a cancellation ring me.” The phone didn’t ring.
When I finally got there snow had covered flowers and her name was not
yet carved on a stone. This emptiness, this hole in my heart, I knew it had
to happen one day, but not now not ever. At her home they were busy
dividing her things. No I didn’t want anything only her reading glasses,
she had thought me how to read. A life had ended and for the first time in
my life I knew how it felt like to be alone under a cold Nordic sky.

CP- To Mader

So one night it was dark and I couldn’t see,
I picked up my phone no one to disagree.
I was in possession of a beautiful phone,
Even though the phone was of a girlie tone.
I started checking my message to find out,
That maybe this isn’t my phone – hmm doubt.
But could this be the phone of my eye candy,
Maybe she could be unmarried and change her name to Sandy.
Hmm the possibilities of the owner of the stolen phone,
Oh goodness maybe I should watch my tone.
I return the untouchable phone back to her,
“I thought it was my phone” I said in transfer.
Oh the purple phone that was like mine,
Oh purple phone oh purple phone I let out a sigh….

The Voice Of Love

Scanning the land,
With her soft and alert eyes;
Searching for the 'clawed' ones
Whose thought alone chilled her spine,
With a thorough look at every side
Only after the last vestige of doubt had died;
She called him just like her mother used to,
In her soft and alert voice,

' Come my son, come....'

Protecting him from the unseen danger,
She could not risk being scared;
Because with every step she took she knew,
History would shout 'encore',
For the day when her mother made her run,
But never met her at home,
And all that she remembered of her,
Was her soft and alert voice,

' Run my daughter, run....'

She eyed her son to be sure,
But quickly focused away,
To the silent movements in the land,
To the visible unseen danger;
They were far, she could escape,
But her son was weak and slow,
And in a hurry she called to him,
In her soft and alert voice,

' Quick my son, quick....'

Faster than a bullet, swifter than the wind,
She could run and she knew that well,
But the thing she knew well the most,
Her son was weak and slow,
She had to protect him now,
He deserved no pain, was all she knew.
She turned around and fought her death,
She knew no pain, her son was safe,
And all she said while drifting to sleep,
Was in her soft and alert voice,

' Run my son, run....'

Pain Of Existence Without.....

It was pain of existence without your phone calls.....
This pain was not related to time, as time moved on.....
but the pain remained, pain and more pain....
without a phone call from you........
Time started moving, but there was no phone call, , , , , ,
I was lost with the acute awareness of this great pain.....
pain and more pain......
I wish I could tell you how much your phone calls mean to me, , , , ,
what if we have not met, what if we have not seen each other
but dear your phone call is what makes me pull through my day....
your voice is a magic to me, it is music to my ears....
but dear you never called.... and the pain remains...
The pain reminds me of the wonderful times we had....
the long phone calls.... your voice, your silence, , your moans
all this was so wonderful, which meant so much to me....
but dear you never called........
come back and call me dear...... and tell me how much I mean to you
call me once my love........
I wait for your magic voice, for all wonderful things you tell me....
for all the beautiful moments over phone we had.......
I wait with great pain, pain and pain.....
Just to hear you..... or get a message from you
Your messages are my breakfast, my dinner, , , ,
I sleep thinking of you hearing you, reading you...
I wake up to read your message..........
But dear you never called you never messaged....
come back just once my love come back
I just want to tell how much I miss your voice.............

It's A Lonesome Desert At Night

I stood in a phone booth
In the middle of the desert
And listened to it ring,
It sounded like some sad old song
I think I used to know how to sing -
I heard Spanish horns
Wailing in the distant air,
A longing upon the Western wind
Rolling in from somewhere, far beyond here, or there -
Rain started down
As hypnotically I picked up the phone,
I heard lightning crackle through the line
And thunder seductively groan -
A voice in the wind
Blew hot and low
Throwing desperate dust into the fading sky,
While shadows in the flashes and trembles through the ground
Gave clouds cause to cry and cry -

I wanted so to call Someone...
But, I didn't know how; and
It really wouldn't have mattered anyway,
For I had no quarters...
Nor any good words left to say -
Upon the desert floor the next morn
I awoke, cold and alone
Covered in both dust and dew,
The phone booth and storm were gone...
But the sky remains forever, the deepest shade of pure blue.

Hello,
Oh, hi!
How are you?
Mm, Im fine.
Whats up?
Umm-umm, no, no, its alright.
Er, yeah, go ahead, Im listening.
Umm-umm, hah-hah, yeah, umm...
Umm-umm,
Umm-umm.
He was a mindweaver, always on the phone,
Telling me all sorts of hurt of his own.
Although his voice was sweet to me,
I wondered if we could ever be.
He was a mindbeater, always on the phone,
Telling me all sorts of what I did wrong.
Although his voice was sweet to me,
I wondered if we could ever be.
He was a mindbender, always on the phone,
Telling me all sorts of dreams he has sewn.
Although his voice was sweet to me,
I wondered if we could ever be.

The Chornicles of a Dark Heart Part 12 Two Sides to Every Story

I dared to say those magic words ('I love you')
As people passed by in herds
you looked a little bit confused in our silence contest
But this is where the poem changes.. takes an unexpected turn
I guessed what you would say and that i would burn
But you didn't...? you smiled and you drew closer...
closer... thats how you glided forward and whispered to me 4 words
unlike my 3 words the ones that were spoken were like birds
I couldn't believe how happy i was...
I put my arms around you because
because those 4 words.... were 'I love you too'
are just what i needed to hear...
I silently knew my own thoughts for once! !
who knew the open book could read i knew that 'I loved you'

The 'Poem A Day' Project - Day 16

I’ve lost my mobile phone
I’m feeling all alone
I can’t connect with my friends out there
I’ve lost my mobile phone

I’ve lost my mobile phone
I miss its ringing tone
I’ve searched for it everywhere
I’ve lost my mobile phone

I’ve lost my mobile phone
And now I cannot roam
I must stay near in case it rings
I’ve lost my mobile phone

I’ve lost my mobile phone
I do not wish to moan
It has numbers, dates and all kinds of things
I’ve lost my mobile phone

I’ve lost my mobile phone
And now I guess I’m prone
To wander like a lost zombie
I’ve lost my mobile phone

I’ve lost my mobile phone
I’ve no mind of my own
Without it there to organise me
I’ve lost my mobile phone

I Hate My Phone

Have you ever had a phone?
That you couldn’t stand?
If you have, you are not alone.
My phone doesn’t like to follow my command!

My phone hates me!
I hate it!
I would love to throw it in the sea,
But, my life would be gone I have to admit!

I hate my phone!
What can I do?
If only another one I could own.
Another phone I need, but it should be new.

If I get a new phone it will need,
A camera that pictures and video it takes,
Unlimited texting is what we agreed.
I have no time for mistakes!

Also, I would need free long distance,
In case there is someone I want to call that is not where I am,
No, I don’t need any assistance.
For my new phone, all I have to say is DANG!

My new phone will be the envy of everyone,
Everyone will want mine,
To bad that they don’t get it, I’m the only one,
There is no need to whine!

Go Ocean, Go Ocean, Go Ocean!
That’s what they’ll be saying!
I and my phone will be all the rage and commotion!
Everyone will be around me and no, nobody will be playing!

I hate my phone,
I need a new one,
I know I’m not alone,
To have the greatest and newest phone would be fun!

Go Ocean, Go Ocean, Go Ocean! ! ! !
I still hate my phone!
Ha, this poem is long because of a motion!
Ha, I got many problems, luckily I’m not alone!

I Hate My Phone! ! !

Were So Close

(carly simon)
Ive lived in all of the houses hes built
The one in the air
The one underground
The one on the water
The one in the sand
He says: it doesnt matter how we live
He says: it doesnt matter where we live
Were so close we can dispense with houses
We dont need a home at all
Its come to be a habit with me to dine alone
Youre never home
And the evenings end so early
He says: we can be close from afar
He says: the closest people always are
Were so close that in our separation,
Theres no distance at all.
Sometimes I gout to the car,
Turn on the headlights
Intending to leave-
Sometimes I need to hear the words,
My imaginations not as strong as youd believe-
But Ive talked to you;
You havent listened at all.
Ive said Im numb,
I cant even cry,
Im stuck with acting out a part.
He says: what do words ever reveal?
He says: in speaking one can be so false-
Were so close we have a silent language,
We dont need words at all.
Theres a husky voice
That speaks to me in the dark
And on the phone from studios
And westside bars,
Through tunnels of long distance.
He says: were beyond flowers
He says: were beyond compliments-
Were so close we can dispense with love
We dont need love at all.
