Dreams
Into the dreamland slowly I creep
Into the land I vist in my sleep
What lies ahead I can't be sure
Something sweet, something scary, something nice or maybe gore
It turns into a mystery I can't seem to solve
So many things it seems to involve
There seems to be things that arn't really real
Like flying pigs I mean what's the deal?
Dreams can be scary with all different things
With more freaky thoughts these sort of dreams bring
But they can be happy and cheer you up
But then you wake to reality and it's soon not enough
Dreams can hold what we might not know
They can tell us things things they can show
Dreams are our imagination going wild
But arn't we glad some made us smile

Sweet Dreams
Sweet dreams are made of many things
The different thoughts that we constantly think
The very things that that lie in our fantasies
And create a thought that's tenaciously sweet
That we savor so much while soundly asleep
Things that can only happen in dreams
My sweet dreams are made of you
The perfect moments and the perfect gloom
The perfect place and the perfect dream
But whatever could be more perfect than you?
Is only what I can conjure in my sleep
Life is a reality and dreams are the opposite
It's the time we find peace from every worry
It's a place where every story has a happy ending
It's a place where every person has a chance to be happy
It's a place where you and I have a happy ending
A cradle song before we sleep
And escape the grimes of reality
And the things that keep you away from me
Life is a reality and dreams are the opposite
Dreams are the sweetest and life is life
In my dreams you and I are happy
But in reality... life is life.
Sweet dreams are made of many things
And mine are made of you

The Things That Dreams Are Made Of
Take time to see the wonders of the world
To see the things youve only ever heard of
Dream life the way you think it ought to be
See things you thought youd never ever see
Take a cruise to china
Or a train to spain
Go round the world
Again and again
Meet a girl on a boat
Meet a boy on a train
And fall in love
Without the pain
Everybody needs love and adventure
Everybody needs cash to spend
Everybody needs love and affection
Everybody needs 2 or 3 friends
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
Take a lift to the top of the empire state
Take a drive across the golden gate
March, march, march across red square
Do all the things youve ever dared
Everybody needs love and adventure
Everybody needs cash to spend
Everybody needs love and affection
Everybody needs 2 or 3 friends
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
Like fun and money and food and love
And things you never thought of
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
New york, ice cream, tv, travel, good times
Norman wisdom, johnny, joey, dee dee, good times
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of
These are the things
These are the things
The things that dreams are made of

Dreams
When then a child I had brave dreams of things that might just be
As I grow older so it seems those dreams are part of me
The longing and the wistfulness that out of dreams are made
Are by life's beauty lesser things and fall into the shade
Of what is real and what is not and so our dreams become
The hope that lies inside of us and forever drives us on
For dreams are dreams when all is said and dreams are wafer thin
And the magic that we have in life comes only from within.

These Things
I have this smile to hide me
And I have this cross to bear
I have your picture that still haunts me like your memory
These things have I
I have these words to lie to me
These stupid songs to share
I have these countless hours to fill the void you left me
These things have I
For all those things I've done
Let you down I apologize
But sorry's hard somehow
Seems so strange it'd be so easy now
But I've got this faith to blind me
And I've got these dreams we shared
And I have the fear that dreams are all I'll have that's
left to me
These things all these things
These things have I
These things all these things
There things have I

Sweet Dreams
Sweet dreams can solve the future,
Sweet dreams provide the past.
Sweet things within your makeup;
These things will always last,
These things will make
Sweet dreams of conversation,
Sweet dreams of love affection.
Sweet words within your makeup;
Sweet words of things to
Come on and write your letter,
You know it will be better anyhow.
Youre gonna laugh again,
Youre gonna smile again,
Youre gonna love again.
Sweet dreams are born inside you,
Sweet dreams are born to last.
Sweet thoughts within your makeup;
These thoughts will always last,
These thoughts will always last.
Come on and write your letter,
You know it will be better anyhow.
Youre gonna laugh again,
Youre gonna smile again,
Youre gonna love again.
Sweet dreams can solve the future,
Sweet dreams provide the past.
Sweet dreams can solve the future,
Sweet dreams provide the past.

Dreamz
what is a dream if you cant achieve it
what is a dream if you dont believe it
i want my dreams to all come true
i want my dreams to be shared with you
a dream is a place of magical things
a dream is a place where bluebirds sing
all our dreams we are longing for
a dream of you that i adore
why is dreams all filled with joy
when after a dream it is destroyed
why is dreams of something we cant have
when we dream of the things we once had
dreams come with so many meanings
happy and sad so many feelings
so why do we dream if it hurts inside
when we watch our dreams all fade and die
if i was a dream id fly away
id dream of happiness and make it stay
what is a dream with no ending
why do dreams start descending
what is a dream that aint complete
why are dreams so discreet
dreams are full of many things
dreams are full of true feelings
believe in dreams and youll succeed
believe in dreams yes i do indeed

Dreams in the Dusk
Dreams in the dusk,
Only dreams closing the day
And with the day’s close going back
To the gray things, the dark things,
The far, deep things of dreamland.
Dreams, only dreams in the dusk,
Only the old remembered pictures
Of lost days when the day’s loss
Wrote in tears the heart’s loss.
Tears and loss and broken dreams
May find your heart at dusk.

Wake within your dreams

The Sweetest Dream
I dream sweet dreams twixt fire and ice
All those things they sound so nice
I dream so rarely less and less
But when im with you im never a mess
I dream of love and of hate
But those things always seem to dissapate
I even dream when im awake
But nothing is as sweet as when im with you on the lake
I dream sweet dreams there such a bliss
All my dreams there somthing i could never miss
I dream some dreams that i just cant do
But the sweetest dream is always you

You Got Only One Lover
it seems you are always in my mind
matter is that what can i do for you,
I can't wake up with broken dreams
Without thinking of you.
the little things you used to do to mind
The things you used to say in my way
Just make me want you more and more love,
And you yearn for yesterday for me.
In my dreams i hear you calling me
In my dreams i see your party face,
If only dreams could bring you back
To fill this empty space on the sky.
It's happened many and many times before
we have miss to each other,
But you never even told me
Just how much i am miss you.
You may have many of many friends
loves or lovers
But it's true what always has been said,
you only get one love.

An Eid Wish
I hope that this eid will bring
All sorts of marvelous things
That you wish to see in the way
To increase the hours of joy in the way
For the days of joy really holds
Nice things for us that can mold
Narrow paths of joy at vast
Where happiness is given atlast
Where all our dreams of yesterday
Becomes happy reality of today
And golden hopes of our tomorrow
Washes away our pain and sorrow
So I wish especially on this eid day
Everything that will come in your way
May be full of all joy and cheer
Under God's loving bliss and his care.

What About My Broken Heart
What about my broken heart
What about my broken dreams
What about the things you said
Does it matter
What about the end of this
Why does a heart begin to find things bad
Tell me why
Why does the world not see that I am sad
Tell me why
Couldn't be a day on a sea of joy
Hanging' on the beach
Getting hard at toy
If you want someone to be in love with you
Think the right way is what you should do
See it in your smile see it in your hair
You're the only one that's what i swear
What about my dreams and my broken heart
All the things you said we're gonna start
Now but think about me myself and I
My melodies makes you satisfied
You never ask why cause you are to shy
I wanna be with you
I will never see you cry
What about my dreams and my broken heart
All the things you said we're gonna start
What about my dreams and my broken heart
All the things you said we're gonna start

Calico
So make it real
Just make it real
That's not a reason to fire me
That ain't no real reason
It's funny things cheapen when we disagree
If things got any worse then cheap would turn free
[Chorus:]
Calico cats and calico dreams
That ain't too real
Just make it real
Feel all the seasons flood through you and me
And see what trouble she's in
But that's not a reason to fire me
That ain't no real reason
[Chorus 2:]
Calico cats and calico dreams
That ain't too real
Just make it real
Collisions hurt and abrasions bleed
It's hard to deal when all you do is feel
Campfires swell into monsterous things
That summer heat that's winter deep
[Bridge:]
And all your wild winds
They couldn't stop me from flying
[Chorus 2]
Just make it real

Dreams, Dreams, Dreams
Most children want to copy adults fast;
They try to dress and talk and walk like one;
They want to do the things what adults do;
But children can’t be adults before time!
Adults dream of their childhood years at times;
They cannot move or speak or walk child-like;
They cannot be innocent like children;
They can’t become children again in life.
The elderly have dreams of their own too;
Oh, how they wish they were younger in age!
They recollect the things they did when young;
Their frames and minds are weaker than they think!
All human beings live in dreams galore;
Most dreams cannot become reality;
Our dreams must be something we can well do;
Too much of dreams don’t help to dash ahead.
Each stage of life can be lived only once;
One cannot go back or ahead in time;
Be happy with whatever you’ve achieved;
Life is so wonderful they way it is!
Just keep your mind and heart as per your age;
Be aware of the limits, risks, you take;
Life shouldn’t be lost even through accidents;
Life is the greatest gift of God to you!
Thank God for whatever you are in life;
Thank Him for gift of human life and soul;
Thank Him for all the things, He’d done for you;
Thank Him for all His love and kindness shown!

Dreaming Reality
In the real world, as in dreams,
Nothing is quite as it seems.
To see what we have never seen,
To be what we have never been,
To shed the chrysalis, learn to fly,
Depart the earth, kiss the sky,
To be reborn, be someone new,
Is this a dream or is it true?
Is my life in fact a dream?
Are things not always as they seem?
Are daylight hours reality,
Or do I dream eternally?
In the dream world or the real,
We cannot know what we can't feel.
What is not a dream by day,
Comes to us at night to stay.
Dreams - vivid colors of life,
Or fleeting, obscure, murky strife?
Façade of reality brings,
To the mind, exquisite things:
Love, regret, memories, cheer,
Imagination, even fear.
The lives we live appear, it seems,
To be a dream within a dream.
A long dream of hopeless sorrow,
I'll dream my life again tomorrow.

Dream Work
Though I have only experimented with it briefly, I am a believer in ‘Lucid Dreaming’
Do you ever create poetry in your dreams? Or do you perhaps compose music?
Do you solve complex problems? Or have you ever thought up a joke?
I have done all of the above and of course many more entertaining things.
Dreams amaze and delight me. Do you remember your dreams?
I often do and one morning woke up with this small poem in complete form.
It is not the greatest poem, but I was amazed nonetheless. I will share it now below:
Dream Work
As sure as I am shooting
As far as I can tell
All things of worth
Persist in dreams
So make them serve you well.

If These Are The Things
If these are the things that
Dreams are made of
Why don't I dream
Anymore
I've tried to tell myeself
Nothing's changed my dear
But I look around me
And think maybe that's not so
I only have nightmares
And wake up with cold sweat
Coming through my pores
Why don't I dream anymore
I'm in the garden
All the trees bear fruit
I have to pick them before they fall
I finnaly grab one
I hold it in my hand
I open it up
It's rotten to the core
Why don't I dream anymore
If these are the things that
Dreams are made of
Why don't I dream
Anymore
We lose our patience
Lose our trust
Yes we lose our innocence
To forget our sorrow and hide our pain
We lose old memories
But dreams are what life's worth living for
I wish I could dream
Once more
I'm in the garden
All the trees bear fruit
I have to pick them
Before they fall
I finnaly grab one
I hold it in my hand
I open it up
It's rotten to the core
Why don't I dream anymore
If these are the things that
Dreams are made of
Why don't I dream anymore
I've tried to tell myself
It's all for the best my dear
But I look around me and think
Maybe that's not so
I only have nightmares
Wake up in a cold sweat
Have I become as corrupt
As all I abhor
Why don't I dream anymore
I'm in the garden
All the trees bear fruit
I have to pick them
Before they fall
I finnaly grab one
I hold it in my hand
I open it up
It's rotten to the core
Why don't I dream anymore
If these are the things that
Dreams are made of
If these are the things that
Dreams are made of
If these are the things that
Dreams are made of
I don't want anymore

Sweet Dreams
(graham russell)
This is the time when you need a friend
You just need someone near
Im not looking forward to the night I will spend
Thinking of you when youre not here
How many times will I think about the things
Id like to do
Always denied the right to live my life the way I want
I want to share it with you
(chorus)
Close your eyes I want to ride the skies
In my sweet dreams
Close your eyes I want to see you tonight
In my sweet dreams
Ill think of your kiss as the days roll by
And Ill write the words you love
And what I cant say in a letter
Will just have to wait till I get home
Ooh theres not much time to tell you half the things I should
Only that Im so glad I fell in love with you
And Id do it again if I could
(chorus)
Close your eyes I want to ride the skies
In my sweet dreams
Close your eyes I want to see you tonight
In my sweet dreams
(repeat chorus)
Sleep like a child resting deep
You dont know what you give me I keep
For these moments alone
(chorus)
Close your eyes I want to ride the skies
In my sweet dreams
Close your eyes I want to see you tonight
In my sweet dreams

Follow That
If your heart is restless and you cant go on
When youre tired and weary, but you cant go on
Well a distant dream is a callin you
Then theres just one thing that you can do
Yeah, you gotta follow that dream wherever that dream may lead you
You gotta follow that dream wherever that dream may lead
Now if I walk in dreams
And if I talk in dreams
I need someone with a love I can trust
And together well search for the things that come to us
Baby in dreams, in dreams
Now every man has the right to live
The right to a chance to give what he has to give
The right to fight for the things he believes
For the things that come to him in dreams
Baby in dreams, I walk in dreams
I talk in dreams
I live in dreams
