Up from Nowhere
When the Sun came,
I felt the warmth...
Straightening my back,
And elongating the stretched etches...
Of my expanding shadow.
I was not aware I walked with grace.
A dignity that prides my stride,
Quickens the steps of my pace taken.
No storm clouds do I attempt to identify.
Nor seek to keep my face wet with tears.
An escape appears that beckons.
When the Sun came,
I felt a disgusting pain held within me.
A saddened attachment I knew too well.
Latched as if breast fed...
And smothering my unmotherly ways.
I let it go!
It had to leave.
It had to disconnect a too comforting hold on me!
On my heart...
And the purpose unfolding to clear my view!
I needed to squeeze from that mental scolding.
I am through with brooding this misery in the streets,
And under sheets I toss and turn!
A yearning transpired!
When the Sun came...
I did not realize my burning desires,
Had turned my fire
Into a crawl!
Traced in memories of falling too hard,
And unforgiving.
Back when the cracks of sidewalks,
Were my friends!
That was how it had been...
Before the Sun came beaming in,
Thrusting upon me a ray.
And a reason to smile came!
To lift me up...
From nowhere!

Faded Memories
I saw you in only a dream
you were there next to me
shining bright through the night
like rays of sunshine in the morning light
and on your lips a taste of paradise
as if heaven was all around me
You had a sparkle in your eyes
like diamonds glittering in the sun
and a smile on your face
you were always such a beautiful one
But as I held my head low
I could only watch you slowly go
said it just had to be
now you must set me free
walk away from this forgotten place
there's nothing left to save anymore
And like faded memories torn and frayed
love was forever lost it would seem
as I walked on alone
felt I been here once before
with these faded memories we once made
tears turned my heart into stone
when I knew you were never coming home
Was a time I needed you as I watched you leave
through those years that passed on by
thought I could never forget you
and all that we been through
still I find it hard to believe
how this love for you will never die

No More Brooding Bruising Sad Times
No more brooding bruising sad times.
From the depths that soak tears up.
No more clinching on big shoulders.
When those curves on roads get rough.
Tough it around the rocks and boulders.
Squeeze those tears from soggy mops.
Drop that pity in the pot, babe.
Turn off all that sniffing stuff!
Hold your head up.
And keep that misery off the streets.
Hold your head up...
And cease that weeping.
Hold your head up.
And keep that misery off the streets.
Hold your head up...
And cease that weeping.
No more brooding bruising sad times.
Hold your head up.
Squeeze those tears from soggy mops.
Hold your head up.
Drop that pity in the pot, babe.
Hold your head up.
Turn off all that sniffing stuff!
And hold your head up.
No more brooding bruising sad times.
Hold your head up.
Snip that stuff you've got in the bud!
Hold your head up.
You've got to know you're good enough!
Keep that head held up!
No more brooding bruising sad times.
From the depths that soak tears up.
No more clinching on big shoulders.
When those curves on roads get rough.

Memories
Im looking out as the world goes by
All the sadness lover we tried
It used to be you held me near
I felt your touch now Im holding back my tears
Well I look back
And I close my eyes
To the blame and the heartache
That we left behind
Wont you take me
Im falling
I cant stop from loving you
Chorus
You were my world
And all that was real
Now the memories
Are all I have to live for
You made me feel
The joy and the pain
All the memories
I dont want to see fade away
Every day life is just the same
Looking in the mirror trying tp put on a face
Of someone whos happy someone whos strong
But deep down inside me I know I was wrong
Cause you gave me more
Than youll ever know
And I was such a fool to let you go
So wont you come back
Im sorry
Im standing here calling you
Chorus
If I could see you
Baby Id hold on forever
Cause times made me realize
We need to be together
So wont you come back
Im sorry
Im standing here calling
Take me Im falling
I cant stop from loving you

Un-break My Heart
Don't leave me in all this pain
Don't leave me out in the rain
Come back and bring back my smile
Come and take these tears away
I need your arms to hold me now
The night are so unkind
Bring back those nights when I held you beside me
Un-break my heart
Say you'll me again
Undo this hurt you caused
When you walked out the door
And walked out of my life
Un-cry these tears
I cried so many nights
Un-break my heart
My heart
Take back that sad word good-bye
Bring back the joy to my life
Don't leave me here with these tears
Come and kiss that pain away
I can't forget the day you left
Time is so unkind
And life is so cruel without you here beside me
Un-break my heart
Say you'll love me again
Undo this hurt you caused
When you walked out the door
And walked out of my life
Un-cry these tears
I cried so many nights
Un-break my heart
My heart
Don't leave me in all this pain
Don't leave me out in the rain
Bring back the nights when I held you beside me
Un-break my heart
Say you'll love me again
Undo this hurt you caused
When you walked out the door
And walked out of my life
Un-cry that tears
I cried so many

Finest Dream
when we fell in love
first and foremost
I felt nothing could ever compare
to the romance that you and I would share
time would revealed these emotions to be real
growing closely that the romance turned into
something tangible and ideal
You cared in ways unimagenable
which I wanted and needed so much
I've felt your warmth, I've felt your tenderness
with every word you speak and each time we'd touch
I turn to you, because in you, i can depend on
for honesty and support
Your patience and understanding nature
would soften my sometimes fiery spirit
God created you and out of all the rest
He knew, you'd love me best
and each day that pass us by, I realize
you are the dream, my heart wished, would one day materialize

The Crossroad
They both were at a crossroad
in where they wanted to be.
The fast lane was the one for him,
the easy pace for she.
Up 'til now they ventured forth
and matched each other's steps.
She awoke one day with the knowing
that these steps were a mismatch.
She could not, would not live this life.
She'd have to start from scratch.
Up 'til now she just went along
though it felt so wrong.
He awoke one day with the knowing
that life was passing him by.
There was so much more he needed to explore
before his time to die.
Up 'til now he never knew
there was so much more he wanted to do.
And so the crossroad confronted them
and they both knew pain.
He would move on and not look back.
She would never complain.
For to hold him back would not be right.
He charged ahead out of her sight.

Self Destruction
I’ve walked the road of self destruction and despair
I know- for I’ve been there.
I’ve been and seen the alcohol and drug abuse
I thought fighting it was of no use
So many times I had sank
Because of the alcohol I had drank.
Then I woke up one day and thought
There is only two ways out
I could crawl in a corner and die
Or I could stop these excuses and lies.
I fell to my knees and with
the tears rolling down my eyes
I screamed to the lord to help me
In this sorrowful place
And to bless me with his grace.
I felt a hand upon my shoulder
And with a sense of belief
I knew he heard me and I felt relief.
I got up and never looked back again
For in my heart that past did end.

The Wings
I felt wings being put upon my back
I knew there was no turning back
I had left this material world, and took
the steps up to the sky.
I knew I was dead! I just couldn’t understand
How or why. Why did I leave all that I loved
Friends, family, and my loved ones
To climb the steps up to the sky.
WHY? WHY? WHY?
This question kept pounding in my brain.
What did I do, am I going insane?
If I am dead, what am I doing here?
I feel myself walking on the ground.
Yet! I don’t hear no words, no sounds.
Am I between heaven and hell?
Then what am I doing here.?
Then I heard a voice say:
Sometimes spirits find it hard to leave
For in their hearts they do grieve.
You will learn that things are not what they seem to be
There is a difference between spiritual and reality.
They both walk side by side, and can affect you
No matter what you try.
You was chosen to leave this world
And that’s the reason you have those wings
For you will be into everything.
You will show people love, compassion, hope, and faith
Before it becomes much too late.
You will show people how to care, and how to share
How to give strength when there’s no one there.
How to move on in life, and go thru the struggles and strife.
There are so many things that you must do
That’s the reason that I picked you.
So spread your wings and spread them wide
For you have a long ways to fly.
There is someone waiting for you, and when you
Get there, you’ll know what to do.
So I flew to where he said: this was something I did dread.
The person that he sent me to see, was a relative that I once knew
Cancer cells were eating her away, and by her side her family did pray.
Somehow she saw me when I entered the room
She asked me if it was time- I said it was much too soon.
I told her she had to make peace with everyone she knew
And that would take a day or two.
She smiled and said: I understand!
Will you sit and hold my hand.
I held her hand till it was time to depart
For her new life was about to start.
She saw a band of angels in back of me
And they all began to sing.
HALLELUJAH TO THE NEW BORN KING
Now I felt that I earned my wings
Bringing people home was an exhilarating thing.

The Truth Hurts
So the truth finally comes out
You finally see through all his games
And all his lies
You finally realize
That the only place he was every perfect
Was in your eyes
In that moment you realize
That every moment you shared meant nothing at all
And you've never felt like such an idiot
Or so incredibly small
And you realize
That you'd rather stay lying on the ground
Then get back up after taking that long, miserable fall
As your friends draw close to you
Even though you feel the pain start to set in
You fake a smile and say:
'I'm just glad I know the truth about him'
But when the lights go out
And your left alone
And down your cheeks slowly start to fall tears
The pain in your heart
Turns into a burning fire
That does nothing but sear
That's when you realize
That the hadest thing to do
Is accept what you know to be true
Because sometimes
Nothing hurts more
Than the truth

Upon being missed
I felt so bad upon not being missed
I felt it so much when forehead was kissed
Hand was hold firmly and patted on the back
I really came to original world and turned to thank
Mom was silently watching me in disgust
She had enough of attachment and trust
I thought she ought to have known about
But I had thought something else about fall out
She read plain eagerness and anxiety eyes
I was not aware of pale and sullen face
It was speaking of all things as to what had transpired
I was to be questioned on this count without being fired
She was mother and knew all about internal feelings
She imagined how it may have disastrous killings
She wanted to take me to corner and offer advice
When she held my hand firmly I felt it so nice
I am not hard person or having stone face
Any body could play with my sentiments at ease
I had never entered into fray for such type of act
I had miserably failed and this was only real fact
If it was not the mother then who else could offer me solace?
I couldn’t have experienced such pleasure even in palace
It was return of whole universe and her fingers proved
When my head in hairy concentration felt it kindly moved
It was easing my head and exciting all nerves
It was opening all doors as ready to express and serve
I was sinking in another world to miss it at once
I was awakened all of sudden and had little glance
I could think of mother as global figure along with other females
Were they not the lovable for all mankind especially for males?
What happens if some one deserts you at the last moment?
Not complete female race can be associated for unkind movement
My temper was slowly receding and realizing the substance
No one should condemned or hated at once
To love and being loved is entirely different
This can be seen with eyes and is always apparent
She may be in my mind with slight different position
As I have believed in reality and not in any superstition
If she has something in mind for me in particular
It won’t be held back and felt as similar
I had not lost or in fact missed nothing
I am in possession of it as precious thing
No could convince me of divine message
Love is only to reach Him with smooth passage

Joy & Pain
Heaven aint your place girl , not now anyways
And in this hell yeah yeah , you cant erase
All of the pain , that youve been given
That aint the reason yeah , that youve been driven
Watch the hand as its movin ,
24 times around
Every seconds like a minute ,
Till youre back on the ground
Ive felt joy and Ive felt pain (girl Im sorry)
Ive felt joy and Ive felt pain (girl Im sorry)
Ive felt joy and Ive felt pain (girl Im sorry)
But I know Im gonna see you again
Girl we had our chances , we knew from the start
That we could take heaven yeah and tear it apart tear it apart
You gotta take a chance girl , you gotta lead me by the hand
And turn this wild one , into a family man..come on
Many miles been between us since I walked away
Girl Im sorry what I did to you , this time Im here to stay
Ive felt joy and Ive felt pain (girl Im sorry)
Ive felt joy and Ive felt pain (girl Im sorry)
Ive felt joy and Ive felt pain (girl Im sorry)
But I know baby Im gonna see you again
But I know yeah
Ive felt pain Ive felt joy yeah
Heaven aint your place girl , not now anyways
And in this hell yeah yeah , you cant erase
All of the pain , that youve been given
That aint the reason yeah , that youve been driven
Watch the hand as its movin ,
24 times around
Every seconds like a minute ,
Till youre back on the ground
Ive felt joy and Ive felt pain (and the girls say)
Ive felt joy and Ive felt pain (and the girls say)
Ive felt joy and Ive felt pain (girl Im sorry)
Ive felt joy and Ive felt pain (girl Im sorry [x3])
But I know Im gonna see you again

Someone Missing? Someone Gone?
I listened to the old man’s sighs,
he bowed his head and closed his eyes.
Back in time his memories went.
His shoulders and his back were bent.
His face took on a haunted look,
as he scrolled through his minds scrapbook.
A smile appeared and up he glanced,
remembering some time enhanced
by pictures entering his mind,
something that he had left behind
in those faint far away spent days,
recollected down distant ways.
And then his countenance turned grim,
a stark event came back to him,
forgotten for a long, long spell,
making the shining tears to dwell,
within those seeing orbs that shone.
Is someone missing? Someone gone?
I saw before me a man wise,
and watched him as he tried to rise.
Stumbling, weary, along the road,
carrying such a heavy load
of sorrows, pain and things now past.
On cobblestones his shadow cast.
So slowly he advanced towards,
a shelter made of plywood boards.
And climbing in, was out of view,
his name, his age, I never knew.
I turned and walked across the square,
thinking that life was so unfair.
Next day I heard that he had died,
and that’s when I sat down and cried.

The Shadow
I had a dream one night
In which i walked through a meadow
The sun was blazing an intense heat
My heart was pounding
When I noticed a shadow
Hanging its head in defeat
It copied my motions
And stopped when I stopped
And ran when I started to run
I was runnug as fast as I could
And searching the sky
For a place somewhere above the sun
That's when I felt an ache
Deep within me
As though every pain I've ever felt
Were sudddenly one
The shadow was standing
As still as could be
I tried to stop the tears
When I felt them come
They burned tiny paths
Down my sweaty cheeks
The clouds seemed to laugh
When the rain began to pour
As if taunting me
I watched as the shadow
Raised its arms into the air
Together we cried out, 'Oh Lord,
Help me end this despair! '
I think I made an effort to catch it,
But the shadow crumpled to the ground
Just as the weather turned fair

Is It Hard
Is it hard,
To depart...
From a broken heart?
Is it hard,
To give up...
A feeling creeping to weep?
And is it hard,
To leave that feeling...
Felt so deep.
Is it hard to leave that feeling that is felt so deep.
Is it hard.
Is it hard.
Is it hard to close your eyes and to fall to sleep.
Is it hard.
Is it hard.
Is it difficult to stop a heart from yearning.
Is it hard.
To depart.
Is it difficult to stop a fire burning?
Yes it's hard,
When it starts.
Some say that nothing's difficult.
Or too critical to let things go.
To then restart,
A mending heart.
Is it difficult to stop a fire burning?
Yes it's hard,
When it starts.
Some say that nothing's difficult.
Or too critical to let things go.
To then restart,
A mending heart.
Is it difficult to stop a fire burning?
Yes it's hard,
When it starts.

A Poet Twist
In the midst...
Of a storm that is on,
It is hard to rid of it...
Until one experiences,
This affect that has gone.
And with a poet twist,
That storm becomes an image...
Of tears that drip,
To clear clouds from the sky.
Allowing love to maximize.
And squeezed tightly to dry,
From the warmth one feels from a hug.
One has got to...
Squeeze to feel it.
To know a hug is...
Genuinely given.
And...
One has got to,
Squeeze to feel it.
To know a hug is...
Meant for what it is!
From a storm to a poet twist.
One has got to...
Squeeze to feel it.
To know a hug is...
Genuinely given.
And...
One has got to,
Squeeze to feel it.
To know a hug is...
Meant for what it is!
And from that storm to a poet twist.
In the midst...
Of a storm that is on,
It is hard to rid of it...
Until one experiences,
An affect...
That has gone.

Bodhisattva Nightmare
i felt the bullet
as your body fell,
the sickening gasp of light
lost in the void...
i felt the empty
of your stomach turning,
as you staggered weakly
down that long dusty road.
i felt the bone crushing pain
as he struck your face,
again and again....
i felt the sickness
of the stench of the alley...
i felt the fear and despair of the cell,
the not knowing when
it was going to come...
i felt the hatred and fear
they tormented you with,
for who you loved,
and the way you lived....
i felt the hopelessness
of the hard ass streets,
the gun in your pocket...
the monkey on your back....
i felt.... and still feel!

Can't Get a Night of Peaceful Sleep
Isn't it much easier,
To sit back and critique?
Than it is,
To have your neck on the chopping block...
And your name going defenseless,
On the streets?
To be tossed about,
Like hair dropping out.
From an ill fitted weave.
And flying through the air,
With the greatest of ease.
Without anyone to retrieve it,
In the free flowing breeze.
Isn't it fun to enjoy with everyone...
Picking on people behind their backs.
And when in public they are seen...
You snub them when they speak.
Knowing there is no reason,
For you to be that mean.
And when adverse reactions,
Come to confront you.
Isn't it wonderful to know,
Those who choose to do it...
Were friends you knew who screwed you too.
In ways you reminisce...
You made a choice to do this.
But now a forgiveness wished,
That your feelings could be spared.
But no one is there,
To show a caring that is shared.
Isn't it much easier,
To sit back and critique?
Than it is,
To have your neck on the chopping block...
And your name going defenseless,
On the streets?
And no one is concerned,
Your lessons have been learned.
Leaving you to toss and turn...
From nights spent trying to get some sleep!
Haunted by those memories,
Of how you hurt innocent people so deep.
And you're left alone to moan.
To do your boo hooing on your own.
With an empathy felt,
That attracts no help...
To come soon to relieve.

Turn Some More Lights On
Roy orbison
Turn some more, turn some more
Turn some more lights on
Turn some more, turn some more
Turn some more lights on
I came by your house last night
I was feeling so blue
We didnt have a date
I was lonely for you
I walked all the way
To break my heart in two
I saw the lights turned way down low
Oh, someone else was kissing you
Turn some more, turn some more
Turn some more lights on
Turn them all, turn them all
Turn them all back on
Make him leave, make him leave
Make him leave, leave you alone
Im standing in the rain
See you there with him
Oh theres so much pain
See the lights so dim
I see you smile that same old smile
In that same old way
But you smiled, you smiled, you smiled at me
Oh yesterday, yesterday
Turn some more, turn some more
Turn some more lights on
Turn them all, turn them all
Turn them all back on...

SMILE and it BLOOMS FOREVER! ! !
SMILE! ! ! a NEW LIFE will blossom right before your EYES
Don’t worry! ! ! Smile! ! !
A Smile is an act of Modesty
A Smile sheds on light your Honesty
A Smile is a sweet Escape from Anxiety
A Smile is a precious gift
A Smile gives you a lift
To your sad mood
The Magic Smile makes a Shift
Smile, conquer your inner pain
Don’t think twice, smile
Bring back your inner bliss again
Don’t rile! ! ! Don’t rile
A Sincere Smile makes one’s intention plain
Smile when you’re worry
Smile when you’re in a hurry
Smile when you say Sorry
Smile, Smile for the Smile itself
A Smile is a way to relax yourself
The Reason of the Smile is a Smile
When you smile,
You’ll realize that the Life Worthwhile
Paint a Smile on your face,
No matter the time or the place
Smile and you’ll be always the Ace
Smile, be your delight chief
Smile, erase your grief
Send your Hopeful Smile
The despair is the Smile Thief
Smile and walk on the Hope’s Way
Smile, your Smile Rays shine your Day
Smile, your Tears Of Sadness turns into Tears Of Joy
Smile, you’ll feel the innocence of a little Girl or Boy

Passion Lost or Found
The passion for life I had surrendered
The passion for love I could not remember
I felt like passion was now and fore ever forbidden
I kept myself entangled and hidden
From the world I felt was so unforgiving
Till a stranger walked in at the beginning of December
As I looked at him I said to my self no that's forbidden
Then i asked my self do i dare or shall i surrender
Then my passion for love had been unbroken
Then i knew I was in control of the world that was so unforgiving
With tears in my eyes and my stranger at my side
My hopes and dreams drowned all my sorrows in to the night
Then all of a sudden my hopes and dreams came back to me never again to be forbidden or taken back......
