To Hiss, Boo Or Cheer
Whoever debates prepared or not.
Or wherever the state that debate takes place,
To awaken those listening,
Awaiting to hear truths or facts.
Anyone who witnesses will know this to be true...
Gas prices will not return,
To be below a 'buck'.
Nor will one's quality of life increase to go up!
From fears already appearing,
People try but can no longer deny.
People will not automatically,
Decide to express more love.
And the creditors and taxes at a price we pay,
Will not disappear from anyone to instantly go away.
No matter who is patted on the back,
To win in a staged and electrifying performance...
That leaves an audience to hiss, boo or cheer,
With an understanding that has been made clear...
Who will represent their interests,
To produce a lower cost of living that benefits.

With Reports Delivered to Supporters
People are 'freaking' out
As to who will or will not
Pay for their own health care!
And their taxes paid today...
With excuses made,
Has yet to fill that pothole on their streets.
Or get a police officer to come when needed.
And when did any politician,
Campaign for a vote...
When it was not time for re-election?
But on a plane they will fly to Europe,
First class...
To compare what's there and a cost of living.
With pictures to prove,
How a suntanning is done...
On exotic beaches.
With reports delivered to supporters,
As to whose quality of life...
Maintains high standards!
And their constituents' interests,
Are being duly heeded.
In between much needed rest.
'Those are unpatriotic statements.'
You should hear my creditors' opinions.
And many of them are lobbyists!

When Money Is Involved
When money is involved...
Titles are of no importance.
Elections conducted,
Are to seduce the proletariat.
With dangling carrots.
To increase desires to reach.
But known they will never get.
And those right to vote notions,
Set into motion...
Are to squelch protests.
To quiet perceptions of divisions,
Between the ones feeling disenfranchised.
And others of special interests to be kept.
Yet...
Eventually,
The one who has the money wins.
And a running done to gain notoriety,
Has little or no meaning to them.
To take opinionated positions,
Based upon a popularity given...
Is not a game for them to play.
Not in a conventional public way.
When money is involved?
Those who have it decide who plays.
To leave a process believed fair,
Made quite simple.
Those who have the cash,
Are not concerned about talking trash.
Since what takes place,
Where and when...
All of it,
Dispensed.
Still delivers a guaranteed return,
On their investments.
When money is involved...
Titles are of no importance.
Nor is there a need to run for any office.
Or make needless public appearances.
When money is involved...
People pay others to monitor their interests.
And take care of all their needs.
Whatever those needs may be.
Regardless of who, why and where...
Someone makes a decision to vote.
When money is involved...
Those who have it,
Decide who wins!
That's it!
Debates are for those seeking to be entertained.
And those with the money,
Write the script, direct and produce the affects,
'They' expect!
Until their needs are pleased.

Precisely
There are those who oppose your decisions made.
And say you do not operate with their best interests,
In your heart.
And others talk amongst themselves,
How they are not pleased.
And wish from them you would disappear,
To leave.
'This is for you and anyone who feels that way,
I stood up because I had something to say.
And what did the others do? '
They sat and watched quietly listening to you.
'Precisely!
I'm not the only who has these opportunities.
When opportunities knock...
I don't wait in hesitation to open the door.
Whatever the intention meant,
I am not one to deny myself the experience of it.
Tell that to your people you are here to represent.'
Could you do that?
I fear how they may react.

Baffled
There are those living
Who actually are convinced
They have power to enforce their beliefs
On other people to accept without objection
And these very same people
Regardless of the kind of enforcement they use
Are baffled that the cost of their attempts
Have their creditors making suggestions
As to what they should sell
To pay off their debts
Created to enforce others
To accept in a bowing done
How a way life lived
In in the best of their interests
Making not a bit of sense
Even to those debating themselves
In campaigns
Over realities they can no longer afford
To have others believe anymore

Masters Of Their Own Subservience
When people have to be made,
To see and be convinced...
That the keeping of other human beings,
Stifled and oppressed AND limited...
Does not for them or anyone,
Increase or produce long lasting benefits.
There is nothing like the proving of it,
With a leaving them alone in their own ignorance.
To have them finally awaken to discover,
They've made themselves masters...
Of their own subservience.
With a dieing that tries to leave a few in control.
But of WHAT?
Creation?
When it is their own creation they seek to eliminate.

Was It Worth It?
(tennant/lowe)
--------------------
Well I dont know why I was dreaming about you
But I do know that I was dancing without you
Then you smiled, and I was lost
You fall in love, why count the cost?
All I gave to you
All you made me do
I react when I hear people ask
Was it worth it?
Yes its worth living for
Was it worth it?
Yes its worth giving more
If Id had my way this would have happened much sooner
But until that day it was only a rumour
All at once you changed my life
And led me in to paradise
Where I had to do
What I wanted to
I react when I hear people ask
Was it worth it?
Yes its worth living for
Was it worth it?
Yes its worth giving more
I reserve the right to live
My life this way, and I dont give
A damn when I hear people say
Ill pay the price that others pay
cause its worth it
Yes its worth living for
cause its worth it
Yes its worth living for
All I gave to you
All you made me do
I react when I hear people ask
Was it worth it?
Yes its worth living for
Was it worth it?
Yes its worth giving more
And I reserve (what? )
The right to live (where? )
My life this way (how? )
I couldnt give
A damn when I (what? )
Hear people say (who? )
Ill pay the price
That others pay
cause its worth it
Yes its worth living for
cause its worth it
Yes its worth giving more
And its worth it
I dont know why
I never thought Id fall in love
I dont know why
I dont know why
I never thought Id fall in love
I dont know why
I dont know why

My Safe Place
Drawings of seventy three people,
A map of the place where they all live,
I am amongst these people, and
I can hear them in conversation,
Although nobody who lives outside of this room can-
I have given this place a name- a self-fabricated name-
I have found happiness here
Within this world I call my own.
This is my safe place-
This place where skies are touched with clouds of pink and gray,
This place where all is quiet, except for the rushing sound
Of the clear water in the creek that runs through.
Here in this place where nobody cares
What time of day people go to sleep or what hour that they awaken-
This is the place where nobody ever gets angry or slights one another-
Here where we dance when it rains and
Where we laugh when the sun is shining over that creek,
But the sun never burns us.
I have locked the silver gate that exits to the world outside,
So that untrustworthy and belligerent people cannot enter-
This is what I have called my safe place, although
Some say it is dangerous in some sort of way.
Some say that it is dangerous to deny what is real, and
To live in a self formulated world,
Ignoring the lives of three billion people,
Feeling no empathy for those in pain and those fighting in wars out there-
While listening to voices that only I can hear or those I care to hear.
I feel that that world has not been kind to me and
There is so much out there that I fear and it is with great irony
That people are so fearful of my own unfamiliarity- although
To me people who live in this great earth outside of my safe place
Are just as foreign to me as I am to them- I must say that
If I were to continuously wear the key to that silver gate about my neck-
Keeping myself safe here amongst my made up community, I can
Live in my world and others live in theirs and we won't have to fear one another- as
Unfamiliarity is synonymous with danger to so many people.
The sun shall shine upon both places and everyone shall be safe, and
Nobody- not myself, my own special friends or
Those living in the world outside of here
Shall ever get burned…

Teflon, Botox, Faked Smiles And Debates
These debates between candidates,
Running for elective office to be voted in...
To run for president are becoming sporting events,
These days.
And in the future they will be held in stadiums.
With fees to charge at exorbitant rates.
As more teflon is used to spray...
To ensure nothing sticks and quickly slips away.
While supporters have their faked smiles held in place,
Injected by doses of botox.
That guarantees no one can decide who is qualified.
Whether to impress with image or not.
'Where are the candidates now?
Are they preparing? '
~Well...
One has requested an additional layer of teflon,
To ensure his performance gets the expected response.
And the other is grateful to have another week...
To allow many coats to dry,
Before several more are sprayed on repeatedly.
And those who represent false agendas to present,
To advocate and voice their deceptive opposing views...
Have used up all the botox to appear everyday,
With attempts to sway the public...
As they give updates on the evening news.~
'It seems the future is near and soon to arrive.'
~How important are these debates? ~
'That depends on how you place your bets.
But the clear winners will be...
The tax collectors and the cost of living.
The rich and those who will pocket your fees.
Which of these picks will be to your benefit? '

An Honest Man
Neither do I claim my self to be an honest man
Nor I do give any guarantee to my woman
I have tried to remain loyal as far as possible
But life has remain problem and full of troubles
I know for sure that she was one of the best
Did all whatever she could and proved true to test
Yet something was troubling and keeping her away
Her behavior was coming definitely on the way
It is sweet tug of war between couples
It is so when they get into doubles
Children change their way of living
It is now question of faith and believing
Some of the interests are forgotten for cordiality
Some of the couples show it as their best quality
Despites lots of difference they try patch up
Keep relation in tact and nicely cover up
There is no need to express regret or feel sorry
Some of the fears keep surfacing and add to worry
Life is another name for on going struggle
Compared to that of timely appearance of water bubble
How come that ship can sail smooth?
People may try very hard in their youth
Yet some of the tricky ways dishearten
The patience runs out of it all of sudden
It takes years of time to adjust
It is almost known and must
As it demands greater degree of understanding
It gives enough of time to correct image and standing

Whose Interests Are Being Represented
Isolated AND inclusive?
From who's point of view is this?
When reflected is division,
By those who say...
They represent common interests.
And whose interests are being represented,
When more are admitting...
A quality of life has been diminished.
And who are they distibuting invitations,
To the same people they have actively kept away.

There's a kind of dynamic quality about theater and that dynamic quality expresses itself in relation to, first of all, the environment in which it's being staged; then the audience, the nature of the audience, the quality of the audience.

Long Rusted In Shifted Dust
Once one stops!
A beginning that had started...
For them comes to an end.
Although not official,
There is something about a lifelessness...
That becomes wasted on debate.
As the advancing of Sunset,
On them dims.
And yet,
Those appearing to be lifeless...
Seem to be all over the place,
Taking up space.
With activities insignificant.
But to what degree of insignificance?
This delays...
A validation to be confirmed.
And...
Observed to be wasting debates,
As time most valued...
Slips from them quickly.
While they remain in the process...
Of procrastinating efficient and effectively.
Although not official,
There is something about a lifelessness...
That becomes wasted on debate.
'Can we move on from this agenda.
To prioritize the last agenda...
That upheld the one prior to that?
Facts are facts.
And rest assured...
Progress,
As 'we' know it...
IS being made! '
And too late it becomes,
For the ones to get things done.
When a time that is perceived is kept,
To be borrowed and used at one's discretion.
With life's lessons that many come to learn,
Dismissed by those...
Who have chosen to invoke,
A reviewing of a point of view...
Long rusted in shifted dust!
And from a nonexistence...
The winds of time has blown away.

Appearing On The Horizon
Depressingly uninformed,
Are the ones out of touch.
And stand they do on the backs of prinicples,
To keep those divided with beliefs...
Distanced from truths.
And hidden behind comments,
Spiked with lies so much.
Speaking from one side of one's mouth,
To say what those listening wish to hear...
And at another event to say something else,
With an interest to advocate falsities in ears...
Clearly diminishes,
A climate already infested by fears.
But no one can deny reality appearing on the horizon.

This Or That
One thing true about this or that
Some people don't mind if I am thin or fat
And they don't care, about the length of my hair
So to make all happy I just wear a hat,
And one thing more about this or that
I am glad I have a dog and not a cat
Though some are picky, they'd rather have a kitty
But then at least my pet isn't a rat,
Then do I wish or do I say a prayer
Did I glance at her or did I give a stare
Maybe I should lie, and to both I could deny
But then would anyone worry or would they even care.
Thinking more about this or thats
Some people don't want the truth just the facts
As all they want to hear, is joy and not fear
And then should I sit or have I sat,
Would I enjoy listening to music everyday
If the music was what someone else did play
Would I rather listen to a teacher, instead of a preacher
The choice is either this or that as I did say,
Is it better to say hello than it is to say goodbye
And is it easier to live that it is to die
Do we live by choices, or do we run in courses
Do we ever win or are we better when we just try,
As I think just where I am at
Would I rather write or would I rather chat
The choices are many, in this life of plenty
But that is the truths about this or that.

The quality of mercy (conditions apply)
The quality of mercy,
Portia declared,
the quality of mercy is
suspended during the present conflict
the quality of mercy is
not the business of a Minister of Justice
the quality of mercy is
not a matter of individual conscience
the quality of mercy is
too subtle for public discussion
or law
the quality of mercy is
only for Shakespeare and stuff
the quality of mercy is
less stimulating than revenge
the quality of mercy is
no business of yours
the quality of mercy is
no concern of religious authorities
who should stay silent
the quality of mercy is
an outdated concept
the quality of mercy is
nothing to do with forgiveness
or circumstantial evidence
or the remission of sins
the quality of mercy is
no longer a matter of pride
the quality of mercy is
no longer a mark of humanity
the quality of mercy
would be OK if Obama said so
the quality of mercy
is one hell of a hot potato
cooked in oil
the quality of mercy
droppeth as the gentle
dew from heaven
upon a broken fuselage
and it is too much
or too little
for our understanding.

The Promise
Release you back to God.
It is time to set you free.
The pain of letting you go.
Hoping He’ll return you to back me.
I’ll always be right by your side.
With you or without.
One of us knows, it is very clear.
What true love is all about.
I see you when you walk out the door.
I want to scream “Please come back! ”.
My love for you grows every day.
As your love it fades to black.
You may feel the grass is greener.
You have found somebody new.
But when the trials begin again.
Will your new lover remain tried and true?
Is he strong enough to carry you?
In the times when you’ll get weak.
Will he tell you that he loves you?
Even when he does not speak.
From his battles he faced before,
This boy he stopped and ran.
The warrior, he stands, he stands to fight
I fight because I’m your man.
And when you need him to fight for you.
I’ll bet you he’ll be gone.
But your three soldiers we wait for you.
Our battle rages on.
We vow to fight another day.
You’re the one we love the most.
Our true love it won’t fade away.
Even though you’re like a ghost.
Our perseverance it proves we’re men.
You’re playing with a boy.
We look at you like you’re a gem.
To him you’re just a toy.
Did you give it up all too soon?
Just before you got the prize.
Did you realize the truths you seek.
Might be riddled full of lies.
When you look back at all you left behind,
Will you see things very clear?
Your pride is like a magician.
It made true love just disappear.
I wait for my lover to come back.
I’ll wait for my best friend.
I’ll wait for you in heaven.
When this painful life does end.
It hurts to wait here patiently.
Down my lonely path I roam.
The promise I made to the Lord above.
Was to walk with you back home.

Full of Promises
People who claim to have faith
And hide behind fears...
Are so hypocritical,
With each excuse made I hear!
They will convince with sincerety,
How strong their convictions are.
But they wont step up to the plate...
Unless they are riding in an armored car!
And people like that with issues on their back...
Seem to be full of promises,
And conflicts prepared to share!
As they subtract facts...
From a mind they've created
To preceive life as abstract!
With that kind of faith kept...
Where they expect to get,
Has to be 'thisclose' to nowhere!
With judgements to pass,
As they prepare to adopt more frets to inspect!

Fair Is Not Equal
(1-2-3 and...)
Make it stop!
You can not!
And this takes,
All you've got!
People from their pain,
Turn away.
And there's nothing anyone,
Can say.
Advice that's good they don't obey!
And,
A price for this some people pay!
To stop it not!
Fair is not equal.
People see this everyday.
Repeated sequels...
Relived by some who love to stray,
Just to keep a fake face in place.
Make it stop!
You can not!
And this takes,
All you've got!
Fair is not equal.
People see this everyday.
Repeated sequels...
Relived by some who love to stray,
To keep charades played...
Made to chase.
Yet it doesn't go away.
No matter what the price paid.
But make it stop!
You can not!
And this takes,
All you've got!
People from their pain,
Turn away.
To make it stop.
And nothing listened can be said,
To make it stop.
And this goes over people's heads.
(1-2-3 and...)
Make it stop!
You can not!
And this takes,
All you've got!
'Til it's dropped...
And gone!
People from their pain,
Turn away.
To make it stop.
And there's nothing you,
Can say.
To make it stop.
Advice that's good they don't obey!
To make it stop.
A price for this some people pay!
To make it stop.
A price for this some people pay!
To make it stop.

And it wont stop.
People see this everyday.

Cinderella Will Return To Her Place…
I was not prepared to admit to depression
and failure to control my reaction to food,
did my duties as noisily as I could, until
sinking down in a swoon all exhausted –
yesterday I thought I could deal with the
consequences of living and eating in style,
undertaking to do my best the very next
day, insisting that life was made for living –
but now I must admit to defeat, even lost
my escape through the mind as my brain
is caving in - therefore Cinderella will return
to her place, her diet that will bring her mind
back – forget about living, your valid criticism
about her poor performance, even missing
the absurdity of Gray’s Anatomy that had
you in stitches; a clear indication that it is
time to do it right, to cut out the hedonism
that enlarges the feet, so that she cannot
wear the glass slippers to go to the ball…
