There! Because That Is What People Naturally Do

On what scale can one rate hatred.
To what temperature can heat rise...
From those despising themselves and others?

How long can tolerance be expected to prevail?
To calm those tensions with attempts,
That a peacefulness...
Will ease the minds of those who vent.

On what graph can an explanation,
Describe one's pain?
In what debates...
Can a surprising happiness,
Be concluded as shown on one's face.

Will those times ever return,
When it becomes apparent...
Lessons have been learned?
And respect that is given,
Isn't stubbornly expected to be earned.
But is there!
Because that is what people naturally do!

you sent me

I came back with handfulls
I did what you asked me
but after the thank yous
that you quickly got passed me

How We Learned Our Lessons

Through the living of their lives...
That's how we learned our lessons.
Through the observation of their sacrifices...
That's how we learned our lessons.

And we understood each one of them.
With our minds, eyes and ears opened.
Through the living of their lives...
That's how we learned our lessons.

Through the acceptance and loving ourselves.
That's how we learned our lessons.
Through the giving of respect,
We ourselves sometimes did not get!
That's how we learned our lessons.

And even though our steps made forward...
Were made to believe by others as limited.
And sometimes we wept and knew this was negative.
It was through the acceptance of who we were,
And loving ourselves.
That's how we learned our lessons.

And the parents we loved and had,
Did not brag about their college degrees!
Or 'things' with them we could buy to achieve...
To succeed in the repossessing of our minds,
Some permit an entry for this to be done!

They were with us all the time,
Telling us we could accomplish anything!
And could prove that too to ourselves and anyone.
'Whatever' it was we chose in our lives to do.
And working hard we did...
To pursue.

Through the living of their lives...
That's how we learned our lessons.
Through the observation of their sacrifices...
That's how we learned our lessons.

Few Are Making Positive Deposits

The best way to teach,
Fools that can not be reached...
Who stay stubbornly out of touch.
Walk away!
And leave them to be fools.

Preaching never taught any lessons!
Especially if those lessons taught,
Have not been sought to value!

The best way to teach,
Fools that can not be reached...
Who stay stubbornly out of touch.
Walk away!
And leave them to be fools.

Preaching never taught any lessons!
Especially if those lessons taught,
Have not been sought to value!

And time wastefully spent...
Is not time returned.
Especially if investments are expected,
To reflect healthy dividends.
And few are making positive deposits...
To encourage the flourish of them!

The best way to teach,
Fools that can not be reached...
Who stay stubbornly out of touch.
Walk away!
And leave them to be fools.

Expatriated! With a Wish to Ease Into This Leisurely

Expatriated!
From continued thoughts of conflicting loyalties.
Feeling a need to escape from trivia.
And unchanged steadfast philosophies.
Fixed in frozen mindsets.
To fizzle correctness and burn sensibiliities.
Paraded by those who refuse to 'see' reality!
Or make attempts to move in that direction.

There is a growing need within me to release,
From nonstop debates that take place to feed...
On those who sacrifice to push forward from devisiveness.
With a discipline to keep my vision on that which pleases me!
A life to live...
Acknowledging my happiness.
With a wish to ease into it leisurely.

I believe in a deserved peace one recognizes and keeps.
Free from turmoil that brews,
As if this is what one should harvest...
With expectations for gloom to reap.

My deeds planted were for joy to bloom.
Not to excite to see weeds grow!
Nor to give them room in my mind to breed.
No!

I've learned to discriminate,
Between self inflicted ignorance...
And participating in repeated stupidity.
Lessons at first learned with difficulty.
But learned I did!
With an acceptance of isolating maturity.

A life to live acknowledging my happiness.
With a wish to ease into it leisurely...
Is as basic as I desire to get.
With no convincing what it is that pleases me.

Expatriated!
With a wish to ease into this leisurely.
That's it.
Requiring no BA, MA, BS or PhD degree!
This is the peace I seek for me.
And free of declaration...
Of who it is I 'should' or 'should not' be.

Too Much Is Expected

No one...
Given life to breathe,
Is born with a cold heart.
Beating with a rhythm,
That is ready to freeze.

No one...
Should be expected,
To show warmth and love.
If none has been surrounding one...
Being expressed.
Or shown to one how that's addressed.

No child learning to crawl, walk and talk.
Grows into an adult...
Prepared with maturity.
Or an accountability.
If no examples of that were ever there!
How is one expected to become aware?

Too much is expected.
From those who have been neglected.
And too much for too long goes undenied...
By one feeling insecure and desperate inside.
With no one to confide in...
From a shattering that goes on alone.
And kept condoned to grow unknown outside.

From You

I am from laughter
From laughs that bring tears to eyes
As you enjoy the happiness of the one you love

I from happiness
From the happiness that comes from knowing love
Love that heals all wounds and covers all hurt

I am from peace
From the peaceful image
Of a newborn dreaming
From calm voices
Tranquility

I am from hugs and kisses
From love displayed at all times
Even when anger was justified and expected

I am from laborious days and nights
From times when even diamonds
Would crack

I am from perseverance

I am from determination

I am from self-sacrifice

I am from

You

Crooked

Crooked.
There is nothing straight about it.
There is nothing in the eyes,
Or the face that projects...
An honesty that's been sewned,
For an expected harvest
That reaps up rot instead of respect.

Crooked.
Like snakes with coiled tails.
Thieves bewitched like these,
Should not be speaking to appease...
With such ease.
Crooked are the hoodwinkers' comments.
And what they have done...
Should land everyone of them in jail!

Tastefully displayed...
And yet crooked are the beasts that lead.
Living in shells and crawling to prevail,
Like escargot when 'cooked'...
Are nothing more than scavenger low life snails!

Feeding on and releasing junk,
Are the crooked!

No Rest Is Condoned

An explanation,
Taking longer...
Than it does the Sun to rise,
And set...
Should be forgotten.
Since a reason to do it...
Leads someone to regret,
Additional questions connected...
That will upset if not answered,
As expected.

It is best to leave,
A perception one gets...
Alone.
Unless no rest is condoned,
Upon entering one's home.
And someone else residing there,
Is 'issue' driven to elicit one to madness.
And an explanation is not a motivating factor,
That is wished.
But the seeing of one crazed satisfies.

The consequences of things are not always proportionate to the apparent magnitude of those events that have produced them. Thus the American Revolution, from which little was expected, produced much; but the French Revolution, from which much was expected, produced little.

Out of Their Comfort Zones They Are Thrown

People are too accepting,
Of their learned and enforced perceptions.
Envisoned with fixed images in their minds.
Like men aren't expected to cook or do chores.
Or women who look feminine,
Shock others who see them box in rings.
Or play basketball with hook shots,
To achieve high scores.

Men who sing and write,
Are expected to be limp of wrist.
While those who appear to be 'supermen'
Stop traffic when seen,
Holding hands to then kiss.

And women who wear lipstick,
Are often approached by men...
For sex and overnight 'flings'.
When they announce they are lesbians...
'Homophobics' do not begin,
To rejoice and sing.

People are too accepting,
Of their learned and enforced perceptions.
When out of their comfort zones they are thrown...
Those who are not like them,
Are condemned to be sinners!
As if a wholesomeness can not be lived...
Unless pretensions are embellished,
And mentioned to impress...
Over again and again.

With a 'normalcy' perceived...
That does not threaten what is believed.

The More We Try

The more we try
Sung by - kenny loggins -
Some lessons are forever
Never need to change
Write and the word is written
Then we turn the page
But some lessons take forever
Time and time again
Caught in a battle that you cant surrender
And can never win
You tried to make me the boy of your dreams
The ones that you never could find
You thought you saw your face in mine
The more we try, the more we just get lonely
Though youve shown me how
The things you say are true
The lesson learned
Is no concern
If you dont even know me
To need love is all I really learned from you
The more we try, the more we just get lonely
Though youve shown me how
The things you say are true
The lessons learned
Are no concern
Cause you dont even know me
Sure youve done what you can do
But when all our time is through
To be loved is all I ever needed of you

So Many Caring Less

I have a respect for accepted correctness.
With a doing of my best,
To give from me what is expected.
Although I must confess,
In doing that which I wish to achieve...
There seems to be so many caring less,
As to how others they mistreat...
But want for themselves shown no neglect.
With an attention given to them as if they were royalty.

About Survival And Life

There are so many things I have learned,
About survival and life and healing from pain.
I've learned that those who ignore,
Others doing their best to painfully survive...
Will eventually learn a few lessons themselves.

And for some who shun others as an expectation,
Especially those...
Unaccustomed to being shunned themselves,
The pain to them that comes will be incredible.

Although...
An adjustment aided by one's hindsight often helps.
Allowing lessons as lessons are to be taught and learned,
No matter how difficult the acceptance is....
To provide just the right amount of significant influence.

Not On My Side Of Sanity

I'm expected to be in place,
For those that are inconsistent?
And unreliable too?
I don't think so.
I may live in that kind of environment.
But being part of it,
Is not my commitment.
I'm not loyal to anyone's agonies.

I'm expected to sit and listen,
To others who boo-hoo about their every pain?
And I'm suppose to remain attached,
While they stay uninvolved to play games?
I do 'not' think so.
Not on my side of sanity.
People like that I leave alone.
And stay as distant as I can be!

Worthy Of The Suffering

So much do they want to express love.
And so much is that expression shown,
As an interpretation of a sign of weakness.

So much do they wish to express respect.
And that respect is not returned as expected.

So much talk is there of peace.
And how conflicts will increase those chances.

But if someone should step on my toes...
And I'm sure I am like many others,
Who are not deluded by deceit.
And that person proceeds,
To slap me where I stand...
I will not quote Biblical scriptures.
Nor not a cheek will I turn.
And my extended hand,
Done to welcome.
Then becomes a balled fist!

I'm sure I am not the only one,
Who feels like this!

I will then seek a weapon...
With an intention to use it,
Against anyone who believes what is mine...
Is theirs for the taking!

My reality is not a myth scripted in Hollywood.
I will deliver an equality of pain!
And/or solicit assistance!

Call me an enemy if that is what you wish!
However,
If you are familiar with nightmares...
I will try to apply one that comes custom made!

Those living in peace,
Choose to do so.
And they will defend it!
No matter what the perpetrators...
Coming to destroy what they value,
Call their nonsense to inflict upon them.

I'm sure they are not the only ones,
Feeling like this!
Although there are some...
With a disturbing ignorance,
To rule over others!
Proving this can be done!

And in these cases,
Some may need...
A quickly delivered mental upgrading!

Not a weapon used to date...
With advance uses of technology,
Has produced a smidgen of peace!
Unless they were prematurely deceased.
Believing these barbaric acts...
Are worthy of the suffering done,
To receive a forgettable honorable mention.
Hopefully with names pronounced correctly,
Of those donating their lives as sacrifices...
To uphold the rights of others who could care less.

So much do they want to express love.
And so much is that expression shown,
As an interpretation of a sign of weakness.

So much do they wish to express respect.
And that respect is not returned as expected.

So much talk is there of peace.
And how conflicts will increase those chances.
However...
Better odds,
Could be obtain from any gambling casino!
And with a higher return for the wastefulness,
Of the investment.
And with loans provided...
For anyone foolish enough to believe,
They can actually correct their stupidity!

That Angst Aint What It Use To Be

Every conceivable trick in the book they could use,
Even to amaze a professional magician...
Those seeking attention had done to abuse,
Others who are still innocent with precise deception.
To depict anyone they chose to choose,
As an enemy to successfully accuse.

'How can people like them,
Be defended?
Where does a defense begin...
When their actions reflect,
All lessons taught we ourselves respect.
Without a complete dissecting...
Of a consciousness in need of a thorough process,
We can no longer neglect.'

And then one day,
Misdeeds backfire to expose evil ways.
Face to mirrored face.

With no explanation they could create.
A self examination...
Has never been raised in any debate.
Isolated hatred has been their fate.
In continued divisions...
They have kept separated.

Yet...
With angst in their minds,
They belabor to define their grief.
Proving that angst aint what it use to be...
To just leave behind so easily.
As denials increase...
To keep reality deluded.
And realities deluded always betray.

'Stop pointing your finger at me.
I have a college degree.
I'm not crazy.'

Who Is the Center?

You are the center of your world and universe,
What you see in others, it is in you, you cannot reverse.
Each person plays out what goes on in your own mind,
If you don't like it, you have to change yourself, not them, & rewind.

There is no place for hatred, instead of doing the right thing,
Hatred hits back on yourself, if you don't change your going.
That same goes for anger, which means you are not right,
Just want to shut the other down with your oversight.

If you want to revenge anyone, it comes back to you,
How can you revenge if you were the one who attracted it anew.
Whatever your fear is, someone plays it out,
That's why what you cause, always turns about.

Always do to others what you would like to receive,
Respect, kindness, humbleness, forgiveness will not be destructive.
Then you'll find true happiness in this existence,
Nobody will bother you, there is no need for self-defense.

When you learned in your life lessons what you give out returns to you,
You'll be more careful what you think or do.
Your life shall turn into true happiness and health,
When you know you get from life what you need, not what you want,
That will be your completion and wealth.

To Intimidate The Minds Of Children

I love to intimidate,
The minds of children.
Especially the ones believing,
They know everything.

'But why intimidate them?
You should be encouraging,
Their eager minds to grow.'

Oh...
I do.
I allow them to express to me,
What it is they 'think'.
And then I say something,
Totally nonsensical...
To observed them becoming confused.
That's when their minds are their most creative.

'That's not being supportive.'

And allowing them to grow,
Believing they know 'everything' is?
Without exploring their imaginations?
I want them to be curious.
To be more inquisitive about life.
And that 'is' being more supportive,
Than anything else I can do.
I'm giving them an alternative,
To a lifetime of choosing to being screwed up.

Look what believing they know everything,
Has done to their parents.
You can not tell them anything to comprehend.
Before a sentence is finished on any subject matter,
They want to tell you where they've gone to school.
Where they've been.
And how much they've earned,
From acquiring a college degree.
With planned vacations and retirements scheduled.

'That is success for a lot of people.'

That's an assembly line producing failures.

A life of knowledge is not obtained in college.
And one's happiness is not determined on test scores.
Sometimes one plus two,
Might equal three times the desperation.
Causing one to know more about division of property,
If things don't work out as expected.
And being skilled in mathematics under stress,
Is not healthy for the mind.

Too much evidence of that,
They can find on their own time.
To select and accept or ignore.
Today...
I'd like to see them searching the landscape,
Of vast possibilities.
They are my future too.
And I want them to know that.

Definition of Pain

Life so precious yet so easily taken away

happiness what everyone wants yet there filled with pain

People causing pain to others for their amusement

Which causes hatred from their victims in turn it creates their murder

What has life come to hatred, anger, pain, death instead of happiness, joy, love, life

how can I live with life

for if i'm happy others will give me pain

if i'm in pain others will fill me with hatred

which will have me taking their so precious lives

So how can I feel happiness once again

when in order to do so I have to create all those things I despise

So doesn't a victim create their own murder in turn creates the death of the murder

if all of this is true isn't life a cycle of happiness to pain then unto death.
