The Ten Commandments
I believed the Ten Commandments,
Were sins we were not to commit.
And I understand them as 'commands'!
And not to be applied as 'we' see fit!
Some live their lives,
As if these are not legitimate.
And comprehending the opposite,
To inflict upon a consciousness...
An increasingly reflected mental misfitness.
With a clear misunderstanding...
That our Creator is not pleased one bit!
These commandments we should take heed.
And immediately revisit!
I am the Lord your God
You shall have no other gods before me
You shall not make for yourself an idol
You shall not make wrongful use of the name of your God
Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy
Honor your father and mother
You shall not murder
You shall not commit adultery
You shall not steal
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor
You shall not covet your neighbor's wife
You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor
'Look, Yo...
Ain't these 'commandments'?
Ain't these things we suppose to do? '
Noooo! ...yeeeesss, but no!
You are 'not' suppose to do these things.
You are suppose to 'do' these things!
'Oh!
Ooooh!
So, they are commands 'meant'
Not to do what is commanded? '
Let me put this another way!
See my fist?
Even though I am tempted,
To hit you in the head with it...
AND that might bring unto me,
A temporary satisfaction?
Something inside of me,
Is preventing me not to do it.
'Oh,
I see.
Would it be the gun you know I have in my car?
And you know I can command it in minutes? '
Let's just dropp the subject.
'Yeah!
I command we do! '

Secrets Of The Law Of God
Truly who
can know
interpret
secrets
hidden
within
the laws
of God?
How long
for how
many years
must one
study
to know
secrets
secrets of
the law?
There is no secret
read the ten commandments
read obey the laws
never forgetting
all sin
all fall short
of the glory of God.
Remove the rafter
of sin
within your own eye
before
you speak out
about
the splinter
of sin
within your
brothers
sisters
eyes.
N ever forgetting
love covers
a multitude of sin.
Never forgetting
love your neighbor
as you love yourself.
Do unto
your neighbour
as you
would have
done
unto yourself.
Who then
is your
neighbor?
Your neighbor
in this day
in this age
is the entire world.
Never forget
Jesus said
“Love the Lord
your God with all your heart
and with all your soul
and with all your mind.”
This is the first
and greatest
commandment.
And the second is like it:
‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
All the Law and the Prophets
hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22: 37-40.
So simple
are the secrets
of the laws
so simple
a small child
can understand
can obey.
“Love the LORD your God
with all your heart
and with all your soul
and with all your strength.” Deuteronomy 6: 5.
“Do not seek revenge
or bear a grudge
against anyone
among your people,
but love your neighbor
as yourself. I am the LORD.” Leviticus 19: 18.
You have been told
again and again
you have been commanded.
Do not deny it.
Do not pretend
you do not understand.
When will you listen
when will you obey
the word of your God?

Worship one true God only, who would run to the expense of two?
Your ruin truly will ensue unless you heresy eschew.
Insisting with sincerity in this wise world, where nothing’s free,
no carven icons cruel should we create, except our currency.
We venture here, in vapid verse, the Third Commandment to rehearse, -
swear not at all, for, for your curse, your enemy seems none the worse.
He who the Fourth Commandment penned, my sins and errors must amend,
but, Sir, on Sunday Church attend – ‘twill serve to keep the world thy friend.
Honour thy parents: that is all from whom advancement may befall.
Be prompt to run at beck and call of all who have the wherewithal.
Commandment Six now follows Five, thou shalt not kill, but none need strive
officiously to keep alive, - and thus fulfill ambition’s drive.
Of all the seven sins that sit upon thy soul when Judgement’s writ,
the last, that’s lust, do not commit – for profit seldom comes of it.
Dame Fortune’s smile you would entreat by guile to guild your golden seat?
Then do not steal – an empty feat when its so lucrative to cheat.
Bear not false witness; let the lie have time on its own wings to fly.
Allow your friend himself to tie the noose which round his neck will lie.
Covet your neighbour’s? ‘Tis sedition. In 10th Commandment’s new rendition
anticipating competition, - sedate his horse with expedition!

Do not steal another’s name;
Do not steal your neighbor’s fame;
Do not steal next person’s house;

Do not steal other’s labor;

Neighbor, Neighbor
Neighbor, neighbor, why you messin in my life?
Neighbor, neighbor, youve been talkin to my wife,
Tellin her you seen me
Runnin wild the other night,
Runnin wild the other night.
A neighbor, neighbor, theress always one in every crowd.
A neighbor, neighbor, tellin lies and talkin loud.
You better watch your step now.
You might fall off your cloud.
You might fall off your cloud.
Now I was walking down a dusty road
When along came a neighbor of mine.
He saw me walkin with my head hung down,
He just had to stop and pass the time.
Neighbor, neighbor, floatin in the salty brine.
Floatin in the salty brine.

Basically Speaking!
You cannot do a dirty job
Appearing always clean;
You cannot live in vice all life,
And have a virtuous soul!
You cannot wear just tattered clothes
To attend banquet feast;
You cannot be unsterile and
Perform clean surgery!
You cannot be a patriot,
And help the enemies;
You cannot live a life of sin
Awaiting miracles.
You cannot sin repeatedly,
Expect God’s forgiveness;
You cannot stay a Satan’s child,
And enter God’s Abode.
You cannot kill the innocent
Babe, growing in your womb;
For, murder is a crime and sin
Mortal, that God detests.
You cannot cut the thread of life
For anyone on earth;
The Creator is life-giver:
So, He alone can take!
You cannot break God’s Commandments
Willfully, by habit;
God will not forgive mortal sins,
Unless you change your life.
You cannot go against God’s laws,
And be in grace, sin-free;
You cannot be in mortal sins
And think God will forgive.
Adultery is mortal sin;
Prostitution is adultery;
Murder is mortal sin;
Feticide and abortion are murders in the womb.
Breaking any of the Ten Commandments
Of God is a mortal sin;
The price of sin is death;
The price of mortal sin
Is Eternal Damnation i.e. HELL!
A good Christian knows this too well.
Yet, Jesus paid a ‘bloody price’
And gave His life on cross;
‘Will you not give up sins and vice? ’,
The Savior asks of us.
The LENT is meant
For you and me
To reconcile with God;
Each LENT is lent,
By love of God
To lessen our just rod.

You and Your Neighbor
You are correct!
I will not get upset,
Over those things your neighbor
Has done to you.
Nor do I care about those things shared,
The two of you choose to do!
You and your neighbor,
Have been doing what you do for years.
That what has been done now escalates?
Is none of my business.
I've never been invited on your discreet escapades.
And today I could care less,
About this mess going on between you two.
You are correct!
I will not get upset,
Over those things your neighbor
Has done to you.
Nor do I care about those things shared,
The two of you choose to do!
Remember then when I made my comments?
And you said to me,
My comments made were making you about to vomit?
You should have purged then!
Not today!
When you're knee deep in the mess you are in!
You are correct!
I will not get upset,
Over those things your neighbor
Has done to you.
If anything,
I congratulate you both!
You have graduated from avoidable ignorance...
To flat out public scrutiny that is assessed as stupidity.
No!
I do not want a cup of coffee.
I prefer these days to walk in peace,
And alone!

Bible in Poetry: James 2
Favoritism Forbidden:
1 My brothers, then as believers
In our Lord Savior Jesus Christ,
Do not show favoritism.
2 Suppose a man attired fine,
Comes to your meeting wearing rich
Clothes and gold ring and a poor man
In shabby clothes also walks in,
3 If you show special attention
To man in fine clothes and do say,
'Here is a good seat for you, Sir',
But tell the poor man, 'You stand there'
Or 'Sit on the floor by my feet, '
4 Have you not discriminated,
Among yourselves and turned judges,
With evil thoughts and unfairness?
5 O listen, dear brothers, ‘Hasn’t God
Chosen those poor in eyes of world,
To be the richer ones in faith,
And inherit God’s kingdom then,
As promised to those who love Him?
6 But you have insulted the poor.
Is not the rich who exploit you?
Aren’t they who drag you to the court?
7Aren’t they not ones who slander most
The noble name of God, the Lord?
8 If you follow the royal law,
That’s found in Holy Scripture well,
'You love your neighbor as yourself, '
Then, you are doing the right thing.
9 But if you show favoritism,
You sin and will be convicted,
By law of land as lawbreakers.
10 For whoever keeps the whole law,
And stumbles yet at just one point,
Is guilty of breaking it all.
11 'Do not commit adultery, '
Also it is said, 'Don’t murder.'
If you don’t commit adultery,
But do commit then murder still,
You have become a lawbreaker.
12 So speak and act as those who are,
Going to be judged by the law.
That gives the freedom to all men,
13 Because the judgment sans mercy,
Will be then shown to anyone,
Who hasn’t been merciful to men.
So mercy triumphs o’er judgment!
Faith and Deeds:
14 What good is it, my brothers dear,
If man who claims to have good faith,
But has no deeds? Can faith save him?
15 Suppose a brother or sister
Is without clothes and daily food,
16 If one of you says to him/ her,
'I wish you well; keep warm, well-fed, '
But does nothing about their needs,
What good is it by asking then?
17 Similarly, faith by itself,
Without any action, is dead.
18 But one will say, 'You’ve faith; I’ve deeds.'
Show me your faith without good deeds;
I’ll show my faith by what I do.
19 Then you believe there is one God.
The demons too believe like that.
20 You foolish man, do you want facts
That faith without deeds is useless?
21 Wasn’t our ancestor Abraham,
Considered righteous for what
He did, when he offered his son
Isaac upon the altar then?
22 His faith and actions worked as one;
His faith was made whole by his deed.
23And scripture was fulfilled that says,
'For, Abraham believed in God,
And credited with righteousness, '
And he was called God's beloved friend.
24 You see a person justified
By what he does, not faith alone.
25 In the same way, was not Rahab
The prostitute turned righteous,
For what she did when she lodged spies,
And sent them off another way?
26 Just as the body sans spirit
Is dead, so’s faith without good deeds.

Moses Unwritten Commandment
That I've yet to meet a living saint I honestly can say
And old Moses ten commandments are broken every day
The laws of god and laws of man few bother to obey
And all of us grow older though few grow wise as they grey
The lust for power and money the greed in us does stoke
And old Moses ten commandments are there for to be broke
thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife thou shalt not kill or steal
In the twenty first century to many does not appeal
Every man and woman for themselves and it is God for us all
That's Moses Unwritten Commandment the one many best like to recall
In an age of self promotion where greed is seen as okay
For to help the poor and needy few do go out of their way
And though I cannot claim the higher moral ground since I'm not free of taint
In my six decades of living I have never met a saint.

Top Ten Commandments
(kinky friedman)
Walking on the ragged streets of time
A man is asking if there is a dime
Someone can spare.
No one pays him any mind,
But surely someone sees him there a-crying
When no ones there.
And the washed out whore demands
The bottle in his hands.
Ah, mister, dont you weep,
God knows weve tried to keep
The golden rule and the
Top ten commandments.
You cant believe the thing youve seen
On the midnight tv screen
And nightmare sent by satellite.
Rain fire falling from the skies
A mother holds her baby and cries
And day for us for them is night.
And love is just a word we preach
For who can learn what none will teach.
Ah, people, dont you weep,
God knows weve tried to keep
The golden rule and the
Top ten commandments.
And moving across on the city street
A neighbor tried to find his feet
And fell on down and slipped to ruin.
The bystanders are all standing by
Watching from corners of their eyes
Wondering what on earth can he be doing.
With a faith nobody shared
And a love nobody dared
Oh, mary, dont you weep,
Someday well learn to keep
The golden rule and the
Top ten commandments.

Bible in Poetry: 1 John 2
I write to you my dear children,
So that you must not commit sin;
And if someone does commit it,
Our defense is Lord Jesus Christ,
The Righteous One, Holy Spirit,
Who’ll speak to Father for our sake.
The Lamb of God, sins did He take,
He paid the price in atonement,
For mankind’s sins and punishment.
If we obey His commands all,
We’ve come to know and heard His call;
The man who says, ‘I know him, ’ but
Does not follow His commands, yet,
Remains a liar, without doubt.
By obeying, we’re made complete,
And know His word and feel His love,
And walk with Him to heav’n above!
I write to you no new command,
But old an one, just to remind,
A message that you have all heard,
The need to listen to His word,
Because the darkness is passing,
And true light is on you shining.
Someone who claims to be in light,
And hates his brother, is in dark;
Whoever loves his brother, ‘mark,
‘He won’t stumble, he lives in light.’
He who hates still, walks in darkness,
And has been blinded, in sureness,
And does not know to where he goes!
‘I write to you dear children, know,
Your sins have been forgiven now;
On account of His Holy Name.
I write to you dear fathers all,
You’ve known Him and have heard His call,
He, who is from the beginning.
I write to you young men, women,
You’ve overcome the evil one.
I write to you dear children then,
Because the Father, you have known.
I write to you young men on earth,
Because you’re kept strong by His birth,
By word of God that lives in you,
The evil one, you’ve o’ercome too.’
Do Not Love the World:
Don’t love the world and things in it;
Lest love of Father, you forfeit;
The things that are found in this world,
Do not belong to God, the Lord,
But cravings of the sinful man,
Of what he does in his life-span,
The lust of eyes and one’s boasting,
And do not come from Father King,
But have their origin in world.
Warning against Antichrists:
This is the last hour, dear children,
The Antichrist is coming then,
Many such ones have come by now,
By this, this is last hour, we know.
They went away from us only;
They didn’t belong to us truly;
If they had, they would have remained,
And not left us or abandoned.
You have the holy anointing;
And so, you know the truth so well;
The righteous get the Lord’s blessing;
Knowing the truth, you can’t lies tell.
Who is the liar, can you tell?
One who denies Jesus is Christ;
Such men will surely go to hell;
Such men are called as antichrist.
He denies Father and the Son;
The Father can’t be with such one;
Whoever acknowledges Son,
In him has Father and has won.
Ensure what you have heard at first,
Remains in you and Father, Christ;
For, Eternal life, He’as promised.
Beware of being led astray;
By ones who oppose righteousness;
Your anointing will show your way,
You need no one to teach or say.
The anointing is so real;
Remain in Him and He will heal.
Children of God:
So, continue in Him, children,
So that, when He comes from heaven,
We stay confident, without shame,
And stand before Him, without blame.
If you know He’s the Righteous One,
Who does aright, of Him are born.

True Prayer In Worship
I have prayed to Allah,
but not in ritual,
bending knee five times a day.
In Istanbul,
I learned,
from a Greek Christian...
that a Christian
can pray in centuries
old Islamic mosque
God is also there
God in divinity said
‘I am everywhere’...
Out of respect
we did not pray
in call to prayer time
we prayed in quiet time
between call to prayer
in message of peace Allah is there
we prayed in cities heart
heart of classical Greek origins
in stone masonry built mosque
How I loved space
between ancient mosques
during time of call to prayer
human voice
echoing forth
centuries old chant
human voice
raised up in worship
is exhilarating
pull upon heart
tribute to God
practiced in many lands
be the call
Hebrew Christian Islamic
purity of heart
is judgment call
Adonai Jehovah Allah alone
has authority to judge
Prayer can be spontaneous,
as need arises,
to appreciate a moment,
a moment to appreciate,
gift of sacred live,
given by divine creator,
a moment to appreciate,
renewal of life,
birth of love ever renewed,
a moment to appreciate,
the greatest law,
is to love life giving God,
with your whole heart,
with your whole soul,
with your whole mind,
there is no law,
greater than this,
this is the greatest law, ...
the second, [Law] like it,
you must love thy neighbour,
as you would love yourself...
who therefore,
is your neighbor?
you are commanded to love...
your neighbor,
is the whole world,
the whole of humanity...
it is written
love thy neighbor
love covers a multitude of sins...
On these two commandments
the whole Law hangs
All Torah and the Prophets dependent on them...
Law not to be blown away falsely,
in act of hatred,
Murder is not pleasing to All Powerful God.

Wonders Of Mother Nature
Mother nature
Oh mother nature
How beautiful and lovely you are
With such a tender loving care
Mother Nature
Ohh! Mother Nature
Our dearest mother nature
Our amazing mother nature
Ohh! Mother Nature
If nature allows can I please ask you a question
As a mother
How come you killed your young?
How come you made your fellow mothers cry?
How come you took away their joy?
You took the only thing that made their lives blossom
You suppose to make life beautiful
Mother Nature you suppose build
But how come you destroyed homes
Mother Nature you suppose to make the world a good place to be in
Yet you have turned the world to be a horrible place
Mother Nature as a mother you suppose to warn your young when the go astray
Not to destroy them
Yet you destroyed and killed them
You suppose to symbolize new beginnings and that there’s always hope
Yet you came and shuttled people’s lives and dreams

Make you happy
Things that make you happy
Aren't supposed to be bad
Right? Then how do I play in
Where would it all come together
I know what makes you happy,
I know what makes you sad
But how come everything I do
Is always so bad?
Why do I make you happy
How come its so bad
Everything is suppose to be okay
It should all be fine
But even though I make you happy
I also make you feel like dieing
Then how do I make you happy
Why am I so bad?
Why don't you just ley me love you
Let yourself be happy?
Why can't you just let things fall into place
The way everything is supposed to be
Sometimes I hate myself
Because of the way you say I make you feel
At the same time I know you hate yourself
And are waiting to make things real
So why dont you?
Why can't you let yourself go
Don't worry about what they say
Eventually they will all just fade away
I wont ever fade away
I will always be here waiting for you
Waiting to make you happy
Because things that make you happy
Aren't suppose to make you sad
And they're definately not going to be bad
I just dont understand
How am I bad for you?
How could I even be good for you
When I'm not even good for myself
I can't explain whats going on with me
I can't tell you how much I wish
For you to be happy
But at the same time
I hope that you are miserable without me
Because I was suppose to make you happy
I was going to be the one to make your day
Now it makes my day when you
Just stop to talk to me
Or make sure I'm doing okay
Until I make you happy I will always be bad
And you will always be sad
That's how it goes
But that wont be enough
Not to make my world go 'round
I need you to let me be the one...
Let me be the one to make you happy
Because if it makes you happy
It can't possibly be that bad.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, for there are plenty of others.
Remember...You're the One That's Nuts
Help me understand,
What I am having trouble comprehending.
For years I have been labelled a fool...
Who has no direction.
Laughed at behind my back...
With less than adulation.
And made to feel uncomfortable,
Because I chose to be who I am.
Tell me this...
If they who have done this,
Have been stripped and evicted...
From their realities.
And their 'normal' lives have ceased to be!
While I maintain my peace of mind...
That took time for me to receive.
With a faith I've kept and believed.
What do they have they had valued...
But now has been taken.
That allows them to escape...
The sadness appearing on their faces?
Help me understand,
What I am having trouble comprehending.
If their way of life is 'suppose' to be right...
Why do they look as if,
The end for them is nearing?
If I had been the one...
They were laughing at and jeering?
Help me understand,
What I am having trouble comprehending.
I see a new day beginning to dawn.
And it seems all that they have believed in...
Has been taken away from them and gone!
'Remember...
You're the one that's nuts! '
Oh...
That's right!
I forgot!

Dharma Talk # 2 (Cry For Help)
the growl in your stomach,
your neighbor's hunger.
the wet spot on your pillow,
your neighbor's tears.
the sharp pain in your heart,
your neighbor's eviction notice.
the sadness in your mirror...
your neighbor's cry for help!
WAKE UP!

God’s Family
Speaking to His disciples one day, The Lord said He could not stay,
But upon earth they would remain, with God’s message to proclaim.
Knowing He would soon depart, Christ placed a peace in their heart,
For they’d know where Christ was, with The Father in Heaven above.
As disciples living our life on this earth, it is Christ that we truly serve,
Jesus Himself paid the initial price, as He became for God a sacrifice.
God sent to the earth Jesus Christ, to give to all men a brand new life,
Christ sent The Spirit down to those, who in their hearts knew He rose.
If you believe Jesus is The Christ, you will be born of God in this life,
The Christ is God’s Anointed One, Messiah friend, is God’s own Son.
When Christ returned to His Throne, He didn’t leave men here alone,
He sent The Holy Spirit to live within, every man who believes in Him.
The Holy Spirit is our Counselor, sent from Christ to be our Comforter,
The Spirit guides and lights our way, as we live for our Lord each day.
He who loves The Father and Son, loves God’s Family, yes everyone,
To love God is to obey His commands, to love every women and man.
The commandments of Christ our Lord, in our lives cannot be ignored,
His commands are not burdensome, if His Family’s where you’re from.
When Born Again into God’s Family, you are a member for all eternity,
A family where we serve each other, with care and love for our brother.
As believers live in Christ’s Love, sharing with men God’s Hope above,
God the Father gives men the power, in each and every day and hour,
Power we have today to overcome, through our faith in God’s own Son.
Being born of God gives men the victory, to be in Christ all they can be.
