Still Without Rhythm

Intentional activities,
Come to breathe no new life...
By those of influence,
With narrow eyesights.
And no experience...
Outside of researched and instructed,
Outlooks to compare and grade.
Outlooks...
Taught from books.

To mention good intentions,
When the intent is not visioned...
May excite someone watching paint to dry,
But does nothing for those...
Left ignored,
With innovative imaginations.
And restricted to obey...
Rules penned upon parchment.
To relate to as having a significance,
Documented and adhered.

Like the wearing of wigs,
To hide and deny one's true identity!
As if ashamed.
By the 'evolution' of things.

The ones depicting a certain way of life,
Reflecting a love for horsedrawn carriages...
Seen meandering on cobblestone streets.
May serve a purpose,
For those whose lives are as fresh...
As repeated museum visits to the same exhibits.
With the air inside just as stale.
But having an addiction to things unchanged,
Keeps one to foundations grounded.

However...
Some standards and traditions should be mothballed.
Not resuscitated as if a life lived was then loved.
Yet wasn't.
That is why cemetaries exist.
To bury that which has died from a life which lives.
Many are confused by this transition.

But what repeatedly survives...
Are the narrow minds and diseased philosophies,
That still exist to keep progress restricted.
In a 'let's-live-life-as-it-was-when-darkness-hid-our- flaws'
Syndrome.

Those dancing today and still without rhythm...
Will never have 'it' to know what staying within it means.
They've been out of it observing.
Hoping that the act of 'taking' it and putting it somewhere else...
Keeps an attachment that grows to become familiar.
As if the hearing of a beat will connect to their feet.
No matter if the thumping roars...
A sadness is still observed upon the floors.
Something in the mind is out of sync.

But...
If nothing is felt,
Because of lack of 'soul'...
What is done is as useless as the doer,
Who can not associate what that feeling is...
That is needed.

No one can lay under it...
Like laying under the Sun to camouflage reality!
To then describe what has been obtained,
As healthy.
And yet destroy those with the natural appearance.
Those not baking.
Like those who later sizzle with contempt shown.

Feelings are needed,
If one is to know what the enjoyment of life means.
And that is not a perception delivered by a hired architect!
Or contained in a bottle to release a protectiveness,
One perceives to get.

In the New Year, Let’s Change …

Change is something that must come;
Change is good for everyone.
Change is something that will come;
Change is one we must welcome!

Change is good if one’s better;
Change is better to be best;
Change is nice if life’s better;
Change is the key to all success!

Let’s change our attitudes in life;
Let’s change our outlooks, behavior;
Let’s change if it can help us fare;
Let’s change the way, we see the world!

But change, we must anticipate in life;
We must be ready to take up change;
We ought to change if change we must;
But let us first believe in change!

Let change not remove identity;
Let change not weaken traditions;
Let change not ‘shake the tree by roots! ’
Let change bring effects desired by us.

Let changes come in the New Year;
Let changes make a man better;
Let changes better humanity;
Let changes not undo our gains!

Rein in the changes, advantageous;
Bring in the changes essential;
Take up the changes, we must make;
Let changes bolster life’s purpose!

Let New Year change the heart of man;
Let New Year change the mind and thoughts;
Let New Year change our living styles;
Let New Year change our sinful soul.

Let’s change and change the world around;
Let’s change our inner world and home;
Let’s change the things, we need to change;
Let’s change our lack of trust in God.

The more we change, ’tis good for us;
The less, we change, our life stagnates;
Changes are a part of life;
By changing, culture keeps alive!

No change can question definitions;
No change must threaten foundations;
No change shall endanger our lives;
All changes must remain ‘pro-life’!

Change shouldn’t alienate us from God;
Change should not be unnatural;
Change should not increase vice in man;
Change should not derail our right tracks.

Let change bring change in ways we think;
Let change bring success in all fields;
Let change foster more love for life;
Let change take pride and hatred off!

Let changes be for good of man;
Let changes reduce stress and strife;
Let changes make a virtuous man;
Let changes take us closer to God!

Let changes improve air and soil;
Let changes better lives for all;
Let changes never destroy life;
Let changes make earth paradise.

Let change in world give lasting peace;
Let change in heart, more charity;
Let change in rules afford security;
Let change in mankind, integrity!

Let’s change the world for progeny;
Let’s fine-tune changes children need;
Let change the world and make it safe;
Let’s change the landscape if we must!

Let’s change the laws if need be;
Let’s change the rules for more safety;
Let’s change the ways, we view others;
Let’s change the way, we treat brothers!

Let changes come, if they must come;
Let changes reform society;
Let changes lessen anxiety;
Let changes foster love of life!

Dedicated to American Prez. Barrack Obama
the man who hopes to change most things in the world;
Let’s pray his heart must change to bring just those changes
that God would expect him to change,
and not what the world prefers him to change!

How Much More

How much more
Can a love be loved,
When that love that is given...
Is like none other?

How much time
Should one wait to find,
A love to discover...
That one is not restricted with
To exist within limits someone inflicts.

Unconditional is that love that lifts,
From minds not pre-occupied with it!
Or fantasized to pleasure and tease.
As something on a list,
Required as a prerequisite!

How much more
Can a love be loved,
When that love that is given...
Is like none other?

How much time
Should one wait to find,
A love to discover...
That one is not restricted with
To exist within limits someone inflicts.

Expectations and preferences,
Finds one living life with regrets and disappointments.

Dismissing one's looks,
As a book unread...
Yet accepting a physicality,
Without chemistry...
Delivers a reality!

How much more
Can a love be loved,
When that love that is given...
Is like none other?

How much time
Should one wait to find,
A love to discover...
That one is not restricted with
To exist within limits someone inflicts.
Or deal with a second hand romance...
Taking a chance,
That whatever isn't there...
May with time be forced to fit!
How much more,
Can one put up with this?

Inside I Am With You

Inside with You, My Lord.
Inside to shoulder and release tensions.
Putting aside my own intentions and stubborn pride.
I'm inside with You.
This I will not deny!

Inside with You, My Lord.
No Longer plotting to fake escapes.
That take me no where,
At all.
I have fallen to get up to stumble.
To stand again...
To feel incomplete.
To crawl was what I needed.
I needed to hear myself plead!

Inside with You, My Lord.
I can not deny I have criticized You.
Slandered and blasphemized Your name.
How insane could I have been?
And You still held me close...
Until I felt You inside me from within.

I cried and cried until that day I found You.
And myself.
Renewed with a different attitude,
Of 'things'
I thought would attract love.
But I didn't have that.

Only You are there...
To provide all my desires.
Inside I am with you, My Lord.
That is so true.
Motivated and inspired to reach for heights.
I am happy I recognize that,
At this time like no other...
In my life!
The one I live and like.

Redemption’s Testimony

Does my life bring evident reality, to the souls that need to see,
The redemptive work of Jesus Christ, active in my present life?
Do they see a change within, my life, knowing who I had been?
Knowing how I lived before, I entered through Salvation’s Door.

Am I truly willing to pay the price, to be for my Lord a sacrifice?
Putting all my wants aside, to serve The One, who for me died?
Willing today, to deny myself, to point others to Eternal Wealth,
A wealth they’ll not see on earth, until they experience New Birth.

Born through the Spirit of Christ, that day Jesus enters their life,
And they too, become sanctified, as The Spirit now lives inside,
Now, to dwell within their heart, while by God, they are set apart,
As His children, with me and you, to now, begin their lives anew.

A life we must let God display, within our lives from day to day,
Christ’s Love with His Grace, while He moves us place to place,
As we live life for God’s Glory, while living out salvation’s story,
As The Savior uses all of us, redeemed sinners, in Christ Jesus.

Redeemed from the market of sin, to live this life anew for Him,
To be redemption’s testimony, no longer just a religious phony,
No longer here to be conformed, to this world, but transformed,
As Christ’s Light to the world, with Redemption’s Truth to herald.

In His Eyes! And Ours

Times then were lived,
Within our means.
We valued being clean.
Respected as expected.
This is what everyone did without neglect.
And embraced hygiene!
This was a fact of life known and seen!

Sold on concepts of a desire to learn.
Wanting to comprehend lessons taught...
That broadened our lives with a competitiveness.
With a fear of limits ignorance welcomed.
And we then wished no part of this.
We sought to grow.
And this assisted with an identity dignity presented.

Times then were lived within our means.
To deceive...
Was then thought to be despicable.
To cheat and lie about it,
Did not excite or sit well...
With those who suffered through the consequences,
Of their ways that dismayed.

Today...
People talk the 'walk' but do not walk the talk.
People say they have good intentions.
But leave no evidence of it seen.

Today...
People talk about their standards and values.
As if this is held in an exclusiveness.
And a membership is required for this to be addressed.

Today...
People are obsessed with their possessions.
Their good credit scores and loans they can obtain.
Because they have maintained status given,
Although they keep blemishes hidden...
That may reveal their tainted names.
And they cheat.
Lie.
And deceive!
With lifestyles lived well above their means.

And yet,
When suspected...
Nothing about them is respected.
Nor do the judgements they pass on others...
Keep tax collectors from locking them out,
From foreclosed homes they bragged about.
OR...
Do they 'today' have the means to feed, protect
Or shelter themselves,
In peace.

Times we lived then,
Were lived within our means.
And we were taught to be grateful.
To feel we were blessed.
And we should express this to God.
On a daily basis kept routined!
Like promises we made to ensure we had good hygiene.
And then God...
And only God,
Will make sure our lives lived were lived right!
In His eyes!
And ours.

Inventive Thinking And Creative Ways

How can something so vital,
And necessary to the growth...
Of the minds to advance the education,
Needed for today's children to compete...
Be not a focus of those revealed,
To be graduating with degrees.
With a stimulation done to their imaginations.
But...
A stimulation needed,
Is said to be essential...
To their creative thinking process?

A cheating on tests,
Has yet to prove beneficial.

And today...
People find it difficult to address,
That those with performing arts as their background...
Are found flipping burgers,
Or waiting on tables.
When those discovered to be incompetent,
Irresponsible and lack accountablility...
Can not read nor write.
Or recite what has been written.
And yet...
Are hired to perform tasks for corporations,
That now confess...
They seek people who can read, write...
Do the math, entertain, produce AND direct.
But left to find this pool of talent,
Overseas.

What is missing in the minds of those,
Selected to have the qualities...
That determines they are qualified to lead?
Impressive looks?
Or is it image?

And everything created that has succeeded,
Has come from the minds of those...
Innovative enough,
To make lives more lazier today...
By their inventive thinking and creative ways.

And it is difficult to compete,
With those consistently keeping...
Their minds fixed upon staying in rhythm,
And in tune with the beat of things.

Mindfulness of Life

When we understand that life is short and
Time is precious and if we will have developed
Some understanding of the Dharmma and life wisdom,
It becomes more precious.

Do not procrastinate,
Do what should be done today,
We don’t know whether we will be still alive tomorrow.

Today, now, do what should be done,
Try to accomplish your dreams, to do what you want to do.
Be mindful where am I going, What is my life goal?

Let go of the things of past, and
Be willing to fully live in the present;
Be willing to change and grow.

Often we are afraid and fail to change, to grow,
And because of lack of confidence and self trust.
We don’t try our best and not determine enough.

We are responsible for ourselves and our life,
No matter what happened in the past and now,
Without blaming anyone.

It is a natural thing for every being to experience
Good and bad things in life,
reflecting on this it helps to let go to not get attached.

A special child is a special One

thank you for giving me the light in this world...... when
you shared to me the life, that the Lord bestowed and
blessed, you deserve that gift, to have a special one

thank you for the fruit of love..... your lives fulfill the
purpose of creation, your unending steadfast care lifts
me up to survive, amidst the uncertainty of life

thank you for being there..... when I needed you most,
you are always in my side, pushing me to face all
adversity, though I exist with no fear in my heart

thank you that you let me taste and experience..... what
is life with you, our memories always linger in my heart,
even though that meaningful happiness is off valued and
something special to me

thank you dear someone..... your presence is giving
me the strength to stay alive, this is the life I live, my world
is different from you, and I have to stay in order to live and
survive

thank you for accepting and letting me go..... beyond your
limit for you don't know where I will go, this dream that I
take is only, me can reach, a place where nobody knows

thank you for helping and making me to achieve, with my
own volition to know more of myself..... hoping the best of
everything on me, and believing that I might see the
meaning of my existence for the destiny I made is the
destiny I live.....this maybe the end of why, I am living in
this world with you dear someone

thank you that in my journey in this life..... you are with me
surfing every pieces of puzzle of who am I in this creation,
a creation that everyone is free, a creation that I am a part
and I exist, a destiny to move on and a place I live today

thank you..... for believing me even in your heart, thou you
didn't see what........ I believed, just always remember that
the life I share in every moment I've take. lives with you
forever and it is beyond your own imagination for the
world I live..... lives.....only in every man's heart that is free

Loneliness Kills

Loneliness kills.
And many who have not yet died...
Are victims of lives,
Where appreciation does not reside inside!
These are the folks who believe they are owed.
Not all but some are selfishly controlled.

Loneliness kills.
And I've witnessed first hand...
Thoughts of suicide.
With feelings I had been a misfit.
Since in my environment...
Disrespect was shown.
And an ugliness to others,
Was commonly known.

But since I have accepted...
My growth and identity that has matured,
I began to compare pure ignorance...
To the smell of manure.
And I had to take my mind away!
From wishing things were not what I observed.
By realizing I had a purpose.
And my life was more than well deserved.
Or I would not be here energized upon this Earth!

Surrounds and Magnifies

If life itself is not poetic...
With bewildering twists,
Adorned with abstract expressions
Worn to adapt
As one who is seen
Wearing an assortment of hats!
Then for some...
Who believe they have power
To censor and shun
What grows and blooms under the Sun...
Stunt their own growth,
With diminishing opportunities to expand
Limited minds already confined!
No matter who decides to live through it...
With eyes and ears closed.
Left to breathe in suffocating boxes.
Choosing to experience what 'is' unexposed.
They will always be 'outfoxed'...
By that which surrounds and magnifies.
An obnoxiousness encouraging misfits...
The ones who sit on standards that have drifted.
And eventually mentally blocked,
As life continues to thrive,
Without the narrow minds of those...
Withered in a time no one wishes to revive!

American Flag

I am an American, I shout
When the flag marches on by,
I am American, and I am proud
As Her glory comes to my eyes.
The flag that which I live for
Is by which the same I would die
I am proud and free, I’m an American.
And forever I pray she flies.
And on the streets of America
Upon the streets of our World
I always walk in such pride and vigor,
Whenever our flag is unfurled.

I am an American, that is me
I’ll proclaim that throughout my life,
And I’ll live the way by which she flies
Until the day, that which I die.
Inside the books of history,
And upon the winds of time,
There lives the American story,
And the flag, that could never die.
And when I have no more breath to breathe
When the Worlds fighting all is through
I will have lived and died an American
And my flag, She would have proudly flew.

I am an American and that is how I live
And that is the way I write and what I believe
Though Many will not agree with what I do or say
But liberty has gave me the right to be me.
I have gave my thoughts and soul for this land
Though proudly I known freedom through sight,
And I would shed my blood, if needed be,
And if needed, I would gladly give my life.
When I have no more breath to breathe
And when the worlds fighting is through
I will have lived and died an American
And my flag, She would have proudly flew.

Fixed As If Cemented

Those who remain with wishes,
To see things as they would choose to view them.
And not how things are.
Since things are the way they have been...
Unchanged and unbending.
Fixed as if cemented.
There is nothing to say,
To those like that.

Those who disbelieve,
Things are not as they are seen.
But 'should' be the way they would 'like'?
That is alright.
Do not frustrate in argument with them.
Your time...
Not theirs,
Is to mellow like fine wine.
Know this!

Others who have had these 'things'...
Just as they are and wish to leave them that way.
Defend their points of view.
Despite what it is you do.
Whether you condone what is done or not.

And it is difficult to get that across to some people.

But not for the few!
Who have chosen their own lives to live.
And have chosen to do the best they can...
To assist,
With any apparent awakening...
Some stand by and expect.

However,
If things as they are as observed are accepted...
By those affected.
And they wish things to be just the way they are?
'Left-a-lone! '
It is better to leave what is seen that way.
ALONE!

Turn away from it and live one's own life.
Frustration free and nurturing one's peace of mind!

Unless?
There is always an 'unless' involved.

Unless...
One has desires to remain in darkness!
And argue about the prospects,
Of a light that could shine...
Between two ears already known closed.

Optimistic people love the concept of options!

Although,
Some narrow minds will never open that wide!

Lifes Real

*There are so many things in life you face
There are many things in life that brings you down
But, life’s short, sometimes you have to keep going and just smile
Try not staying down to long
Try to put it aside and move on
You can’t live your life stressing on how to deal with things
Life’s much more than that
Sometimes it’s thinking things through
And deal with the important things first
And worry about the other things later
I know you battle with you brain
And your thoughts you chase
I know dealing with feelings and stress is one big debate
*Life’s has a lot of hard work
Life has a lot of headaches
Life has a lot of drama
But believe it or not stressing not the way to deal with things
Life has a way to put you down
And makes you feel you’re beneath it
But, you have to put yourself on top
*Life may play tricks on your mind
That you start to go crazy
Or just plain out of your mind
But believe it or not
There’s always a way to shine
*Life’s real, that I understand
Life’s real, Life you have to EXCEPT
Life you can’t STRESS
Life you have to live at your BEST
Life also you must live to the FULLEST

When and Where Did They Leave Behind Their Minds

I have been blessed to be in the presence...
Of those obsessed with the purchasing of things.
Themselves and what they possess.
And have them profess to me,
What 'I' could be and 'things' I could have...
IF I just put my mind to it!

So glad I endured such ignorance.

Little did they know,
I thought people like that were ridiculous.
And in time they would come to think of themselves,
That very same way.
It happens.
It pays to be observant.

What I have today and have had most of my life,
Is a sense of my own self worth.
What I have today and have had most of my life,
Is identity and self respect.
What I have today and have had most of my life,
Is my faith and gratefulness...
To know from where my blessings flow!
And the source of my insight.

And those folks...
Wouldn't leave from their doorsteps,
Without making sure their pretensions were intact.
But then again...
Times have changed!
And maybe some of them are scurrying around,
Trying to discover...
When and where did they leave behind their minds.
And what had been their purpose?
What purpose do they serve?
And how is that purpose felt?
Where is that purpose at?

Especially those clinging onto materialistic notions!
Believing themselves to be...
'Blessed and highly favored',
To have acquired positions of status.
With bling and other things to flaunt,
An eroding way of life that has them entrapped.
And I wonder...
Is 'this' a purpose?
Or is this,
A sad act!

God...
I thank You,
For showing me how to lead.
And not follow.

Does it matter any more....?

I was worth a bottle crown the moment you left me
I was worthless and useless with a feeling of hopelessness
It is just now that Im worth a presidetial palace

I guess you wonder how I got myself to the top
I walked....... and when I got tired I ran
And when I failed to run.... I flew

The pain you left in my heart fueled up my strength
The more I thought of you the more I was never tired
and the more more i flew to the top

You come to me today and ask me if I still love you
Oh yes.... You are forever in my heart
But agony is that you are forever out of my life

I treated you as if were my own life
But you threw me out of your life
and left me in a stormy rain

where were you when I needed you so close
when I needed you arms around me
And if it never mattered to you who I was;
How then does it matter what i have become.

Swirling to Hurl

Life...
Brings with it,
Mystery and miseries.
Some live entire lives,
In the state of denial and disbelief.
Confronting challenges,
With despair and grief.

Life...
Also is the wind.
Beginning gently...
And sometimes swirling to hurl,
Devastation until it ends.
And it does!
To reveal much change before our eyes.
Under the promise of Sun and clear skies.
Rising hope with faith connected.

Life...
Is a dance and song sung heard.
A step in the wrong direction...
Off the beat.
Off the mark.
Off of the rhythm that was there,
When a flair to feel free began!

None can play life safe.
None can detect to avoid what comes next in life.
When life starts the experience one has with it...
It will flow.
Just like the different winds upon us,
Life blows.

No lullabys come to soothe...
Those denying the naturalness of this rhythm,
One living life pursues.
No shoulder comes to quiet,
Those with constant fears.
No one seems to listen closely with attention.
Those with fears held dear.
Collectors of heartbreaks to keep as souvenirs.
This is not the life to like!
Or pretend..
Tears falling do not come from a sadness felt!
A sadness wished to end.

None can play life safe.
None can detect to avoid what comes next in life.
When life starts the experience one has with it...
It will flow.
Just like the different winds upon us,
Life blows.

Life...
Brings with it,
Mystery and miseries.
Some live entire lives,
In the state of denial and disbelief.
Confronting challenges,
With despair and grief.
When all things that life brings...
Breezing like the winds that do not stay.
And just as life is the experience lived.
We are the experiment,
That never stops evolving.

None can play life safe.
None can detect to avoid what comes next in life.
When life starts the experience one has with it...
It will flow.
Just like the different winds upon us,
Life blows.

Keeping Faith In Hollow Concepts

Intelligence can not be enforced,
Upon those restricted and conditioned...
To accept the limitating affects,
Of their teachings.

If people are lead to believe...
An aspect of life that does not exist,
But for them they can achieve...
Then of course,
Their efforts are going to be frustrating.
It is like keeping faith in concepts,
That are not real!
But to the death they are embraced and held.

When I realized Santa Claus did not exist...
I went ballistic!
The Easter Bunny, Minnie and Mickey Mouse
And a host of my childhood allies...
Were erased from me,
When I began to age with understanding I then refused!
Sometimes I wake up in cold sweats,
Thinking of the death of them.
And how I was challenged to move on with my life!

Intelligence can not be enforced,
Upon those restricted and conditioned...
To accept the limitating affects,
Of their teachings.

Religions, deities and their myths?
I am not going to touch that with a ten foot pole!
I'll just say the marketing has left tremendous debts,
Of mental casualties!
Wherever these beliefs are currently at war!
One has only to connect the dots to observe the damage!

If people are lead to believe...
An aspect of life that does not exist,
But for them they can achieve...
Then of course,
Their efforts are going to be frustrating.
It is like keeping faith in hollow concepts,
That are not real!
But to the death they are embraced and held.

And those who know these things...
Are freer to live their lives,
With a broader sense of self.
Without fears to manifest and share.
Once an awareness stretches to introduce,
A higher consciousness induced.

Tales of Those Now Listening

Folks now gone.
With advice given ignored but shared...
Surfacing upon once deaf ears,
Suddenly heard...
As if from no where!

Those maturing with a wisdom,
Brought upon by age and reflecting...
Leave some to ask,
'Mama 'why' did I not listen then?
Daddy, we had our differences...
But what you tried to express,
I confess...
Seemed so old fashion and useless.
And when the two of you restricted me,
From doing things that would bring harm...
I thought my world would end.'

And the tales of those now listening...
Are as old although they remain ever so fresh.
And the listening somehow is heard,
Clearer now than it has ever been.
Some are spoken to their hard headed children.
With a hope 'something' learned,
Will sink into their thick and disrespecting skins.

But these tales of those now listening,
And delivered...
Seem to breathe new life,
As each generation applies an innovative affliction.

Life

Living life
wondering if life exist
loving the volume of my sounds
today is the way it is
Today is the life to live
dont think of yesterday
Just live your life
and just forgive.... you can have it all
just think of all the things you did
I love my life and all the things I have
loving life
too bad its so short lived
everyday is a lifetime we dont have so much time
everyday you must live
Oh I love the life I live....
everyday is a chance to be
Loving you and all the challenges.....
