When and Where Did They Leave Behind Their Minds
I have been blessed to be in the presence...
Of those obsessed with the purchasing of things.
Themselves and what they possess.
And have them profess to me,
What 'I' could be and 'things' I could have...
IF I just put my mind to it!
So glad I endured such ignorance.
Little did they know,
I thought people like that were ridiculous.
And in time they would come to think of themselves,
That very same way.
It happens.
It pays to be observant.
What I have today and have had most of my life,
Is a sense of my own self worth.
What I have today and have had most of my life,
Is identity and self respect.
What I have today and have had most of my life,
Is my faith and gratefulness...
To know from where my blessings flow!
And the source of my insight.
And those folks...
Wouldn't leave from their doorsteps,
Without making sure their pretensions were intact.
But then again...
Times have changed!
And maybe some of them are scurrying around,
Trying to discover...
When and where did they leave behind their minds.
And what had been their purpose?
What purpose do they serve?
And how is that purpose felt?
Where is that purpose at?
Especially those clinging onto materialistic notions!
Believing themselves to be...
'Blessed and highly favored',
To have acquired positions of status.
With bling and other things to flaunt,
An eroding way of life that has them entrapped.
And I wonder...
Is 'this' a purpose?
Or is this,
A sad act!
God...
I thank You,
For showing me how to lead.
And not follow.

Your Purpose of Living
The master of purpose does not
respect certificate or degree;
He only respect people
with purpose in life.
Purpose is the gate fee
to success land.
Purpose is your direction.
Purpose is an objective in life,
dream, and what you are here for.
You cannot move on in life
until you have discovered
your objectives in life,
which is your purpose of living.

Ringmasters Word
I have a purpose...
Take your dill knife, stab me, go, strike my heart...(ha ha, ha ha...ha ha, ha ha )
I have a purpose...
Such things cant exist...
I have a purpose...
You will tell them of me and how one day I shall come for them...
I have a purpose...
Quietly, I will come over your bed,
I will lean over and gently bite your neck...
Ringmaster...
I have a purpose...
You will tell them of me and how one day I shall come for them

Days Whittled Away
Small becomes big, while huge is little, this as we mentally whittle,
Sorting many things in our mind, looking forward and also behind;
Pondering things, near and far, not content with things as they are,
Thinking beyond the here and now, we can slide into why and how.
Looking beyond all that we can see, thinking about what could be,
With our mind, overriding our heart, our flesh begins doing its part,
As temptations comes into play, trying to direct these feet of clay,
To stray from God’s said purpose, all provided by The Lord Jesus.
Some things in life may seem small, but, perception is not over all,
As personal wants cloud the view, of this life given to me and you;
While in our minds we may scheme; what we usually call our dream,
Almost appearing to be discontent, with the purpose, we were sent.
We then proceed, to whittle away, at that purpose, from day to day,
When we start wrestling in our mind, with daily issues of every kind,
As our eyes are taken off The Lord, His purpose, for us, is ignored.
Clouding, all that matters, in this life, as we stray from Jesus Christ.
But, God’s purpose doesn’t change, for our Lord remains the same,
Working through the life of everyone, who’s been called by His Son,
And so daily our focus needs to be, on Christ and things of Eternity,
As we live here, one day at a time, through a power which is sublime.

Throughout the Meadow
I discovered my purpose,
Long before your good credit rating...
Maxed out on overdrawn credit cards.
I have never identified with bling,
As a means to represent my dreams and wishes.
Being 'different' has had its benefits for me.
I owe no one anything to maintain a pretense.
I am who I am.
Basic.
Truth and I have been friends for years.
But I will admit...
We have had our ups and downs.
You,
On the other hand...
Celebrated achieving faked peaks.
And today you tell me I know nothing of the valleys?
Remember,
That's where you left me before making your climb.
However...
Your whining everyone can hear,
Throughout the meadow.
Have you lost your purpose and your mind,
On borrow time and the cheap 'blinging' of things?
I thought you knew who you were?
Was it you who said I wasted my life,
On useless dreams?
And here you are...
Screaming as if 'you' are the one crazed.
But...
You may be reflecting your purpose.
Who am I to pass judgement?
Enjoy.
Have a great day.

My Choice Is to Make History
I'm one to adventure life.
Accepting it as a process.
I feel blessed to be granted it to bloom, flourish and grow.
Seeking purpose.
And when that purpose is fulfilled,
It then is time to move on!
Like each season that acknowledges the next.
Never to overstay a visit!
I too have those same wishes.
To remain unchallenged,
I know is not my mission.
And as long as I am blessed with my life,
I will seek the unknown.
To uncover it.
To leave behind for someone to discover I existed.
My choice is to make history.
Not relive it!
At times it can become uncomfortable.
But no learning I've ever achieved,
Came easy.
Or resulted from a path cleared of obstacles.

Keep The Intent Of Your Purpose
Although there seems to be,
A slowing done of your focused flow...
Keep the intent of your purpose.
Don't let that motivation go.
Stay true to yourself,
Knowing your beliefs do not deceive.
Keep the intent of your purpose.
Do not let that purpose leave.
It is difficult enough,
To constantly be bombarded...
From those events,
That fuss things up.
It's enough to want to cuss,
Everything believed to be corrupt.
But that 'outside' stuff that is happening...
Has a meaning that should awaken all of us.
Although there seems to be,
A slowing done of your focused flow...
Keep the intent of your purpose.
Don't let that motivation go.
Stay true to yourself,
Knowing your beliefs do not deceive.
Keep the intent of your purpose.
Do not let that purpose leave.
Each day collect pieces,
Of your sanity.
Keep the intent of your purpose.
Be gentle and easily allow yourself to breathe.

All Things
It’s another one of those things, as concern within my heart rings,
Concern about just what lies ahead, as my mind entertains dread,
Again I am facing more uncertainty, fixating on what I cannot see,
But all things work out for good, again Truth must be understood.
Today I need to fix my mind again, on the One Who rules all men,
God has the heart of every king, in His hand regarding everything,
Things must not cloud my faith, as God supplies abundant Grace,
His Grace for all that shall come, regardless of where they’re from.
All things come from God above, regardless what I’m thinking of,
As my mind can be swayed by fear, even though my Lord is near,
The One, Who will help me through, even if those fears come true,
For the Lord’s will I cannot resist, and my present life is but a mist.
The things this life avails to me, are allowed by the God of eternity,
Allowed for His purpose in my life, even in times of pain and strife,
Purposes one seldom understands, but, I know I’m in God’s hands,
Resting in God’s Everlasting Arms; protected from all undue harms.
My friend, it’s understood by us, those who belong to Christ Jesus,
All called for the purpose of God, while we’re upon this earthly sod,
Are today being led by Jesus Christ, for the plan of God in this life,
Regardless of big or small, when God says all things, He means all.

There Is Nothing Like An Observation
How I know today times have changed?
People no longer laugh,
When they believe they have those 'things'...
That those who have not will never get!
Now today those who did not 'have',
What others 'had' and laughed...
Are less concerned,
About having their 'things' repossessed.
Like those with their noses,
High above their puffed up chests.
Or having their precious pretentions devalued,
Like those who used the have nots...
To validate the purpose of their foolishness.
How I know today times have changed?
There is nothing like an observation,
That details a bringing to another their reality.

Something Else Unstated
What is it that one 'should' expect to accept?
That which is told and thought to be correct.
Or another version of it,
To then be told what was first said and heard...
One should forget since it was not meant,
To be intended to be interpreted...
For anyone to take seriously.
'Then why say these things at all?
What is the purpose? '
~Today?
I've learned not to analyze one's intentions.
Or the depths of their honesty or purpose,
To avert away from it.
It has become too easy for anyone,
To change what they initially say...
For something else unstated,
They claim to have meant.~
'Why bother to make attempts,
To have a meaningful conversation? '
~How can that be done?
When people have not experienced,
The benefit or purpose of having one.~

It’s Not About Us
It’s not about me or about you, but, about God, Who sees us through,
Through all the days and times in life, through the joy and all the strife,
For it was The Lord Who created us, in His own image, from only dust,
Then God breathed life into man, and given purpose by His command.
We were created for God’s pleasure, created to be His eternal treasure,
Created for Pure Fellowship with Him, until Satan introduced man’s sin,
But, that fellowship, God repealed, as sin, through Satan was revealed,
As the serpent lied to Adam’s wife, and turned their Paradise into strife.
Today, that fellowship is restored, through God’s Son, Christ, The Lord,
Then He uses believers in this life, to draw others, back to Jesus Christ.
When through a trial or tribulation, we can point men to God’s Salvation,
To that bloody cross of Calvary, where The Savior died for you and me.
And now, in this life, we die for Him, Christ, Who had died for all our sin,
To live our new earthly life for God, lead by Jesus Christ’s staff and rod,
When something becomes a bother, we are here for our Heavenly Father,
As part of our Lord’s purpose and plan, to be God’s Light for every man.
This life which we live is not about us, but, about God, in whom we trust,
About The Lord God and Creator, Who sent to all men a Blessed Savior,
Christ is the reason life’s worth living, as through all, He keeps on giving,
When we live our life in God’s Will, with a greater purpose for us to fulfill.

God’s Purpose Never Changed
I will post
poems today
the purpose
is not
about you
or me
it is about
God
this purpose
has never
changed
persona
changes
within certain
styles
within
poems
I write
but
consistency
of purpose
never changed
it is a constant
as omnipresent
omnipotent
omnibenevolent
omniscient God
is constant.

Find It. Your Purpose
Find it.
Your purpose.
Once it has been discovered,
Do not let it be undermined.
Your purpose.
It is difficult to be oneself,
And declare oneself to 'be'.
It is much easier to locate acceptance,
When approval from others...
Does not threaten,
A routine enjoyed with unchanged beliefs.
Find it.
Your purpose.
Once it has been discovered,
Do not let it be undermined.
Your purpose.
And once it is recognized...
Be prepared to be criticized.
Be prepared to be humble too...
When a strength felt opens your eyes.
But never be apologetic,
For those steps you make.
Moving forward has been known,
To cause many heartache.
But find it,
You must...
Your purpose.
And trust that it is...
Your purpose!
And...
Once it has been discovered,
Do not let it be undermined.
Once it has been discovered,
Your purpose...
Will open and broaden your mind.
Finding one's purpose,
Does this every time!

Chaos, Order, Chaos, Beauty And Ugliness...
beauty must a purpose
have, for instance beauty that
gives peace and
harmony to the world,
presumably this world is a world of chaos,
and chaos is wanton
and understood to be messy and
undesirable, makes the mind
to lack the necessary focus
but what is focus for? what is thinking for?
again, you return to purpose
focus must have a purpose
and thinking must have another purpose
but what is the purpose of purpose?
seems that purpose is beauty
and that purpose without beauty is not desirable,
and so on and so forth,
people get so confused, they want order as though order itself is
beauty
as though it is one purpose that we need,
the universe must have an order
a system, every planet orbiting around the sun must have
a purpose
as though they are human beings like us
as though they are us
look at this poem, read it so well,
it has no purpose but to make you think
make you doubt
that perhaps beauty to be beauty must be wanton
and chaotic, which by itself is a reality
and reality is always
beautiful,
it has always a purpose and this is what you think it to be
right now, but is this really so?

A Reason And A Purpose
A Reason And A Purpose
Our life's journey here on earth
has a reason and a purpose
We have our ups and downs
and we have to deal life
In a gracious manner and more fulfilling
counting our blessings from day to day
Focusing on the pains and sufferings
will only miss the beauty and richness life can offer
there must be a reason why
Just look at the brighter side
Allow your heart to leap with joy
And with gratitude to the One Above
God has a reason and a purpose
In His time, everything will be for the best
He will take care of the rest.
be happy and contented
God bless you

The Best Gift One Can Receive
Awakening from values placed,
On the emptiness of symbols and images...
Can save a lot of waste of one's appreciation,
For others and their worth as human beings.
People wait until it is too late,
To live their lives from a basic point of view.
Believing the purpose of life is in acquiring things,
To pursue with a flaunting of pretentions.
Today people are teaching their children,
It is okay to take from others.
Then find what they have done,
Disappoints with the results that come.
Today people do not accept,
Their own consequences they face.
Only to place blame and find fault,
With those directions they chose to take.
Awakening from values placed,
On the emptiness of symbols and images...
Can save a lot of waste of one's appreciation,
For others and their worth as human beings.
Awakening before it is too late,
To self examine...
Is not a sign of weakness.
It is the best gift one can receive.
Afterall...ultimately,
Is it what one has that delivers to them happiness?
Or...
Is it the caring of someone shown that is freely given,
And genuinely felt and known...
That validates with an acknowledgement,
What they have been seeking that is regarded as progress.
'I've given you every 'thing' that money can buy.
And you act as if I don't exist.
It is as if...
I don't know who you are,
Anymore.'
~Oh?
And 'who' are you?
Who are 'we'?
WHAT are we?
Machines are being made...
To 'do' what we 'do'.
Other than self destruction...
What other purpose do we serve? ~
'I'll see you later.
When,
Hopefully...
You are in a better mood.'

Maybe Today
Maybe today
Maybe tomorrow
Maybe someday
Things shall be any different
Than they are today
Maybe today the moon shall smile
Maybe today the world will dance
To the music and rhythm of yesterday’s drums
Maybe today our visions will rise to its Zenith
Maybe today we shall walk on the wire of our purest imaginations
Maybe today is all we have to become the architects of our fate
Maybe today is the perfect time to make peace
Maybe today is the best day chosen to forgive and let go
Maybe today is the time to be better people than we were yesterday
Maybe today is the best day to say ”AM SORRY”
Maybe today is the day to climb the highest mountain of purpose.
Who knows what tomorrow has in store?

The Purpose Of Life
we are humans nothing less
no one is perfect everyone makes mistake
we hurt each other, we hates each other
that's the purpose of life
when we end up lonely it's normal to treats others in a bad situation
when we have no one to run to or to speaks with it's normal to be used
that's the purpose of life
how would the world works without struggling?
life is not fair it is just a pain so understand that
life is all about taking risks so understand the task
the purpose of life

Purpose crosses disciplines. Purpose is an essential element of you. It is the reason you are on the planet at this particular time in history. Your very existence is wrapped up in the things you are here to fulfill. Whatever you choose for a career path, remember, the struggles along the way are only meant to shape you for your purpose.

Something Good To Do And Say
Where is the opportunity
To let what 'was' go?
To know that today...
Has more purpose than yesterday.
Right now,
In this moment.
Let us be in 'it' without delay!
Where is the opportunity
To say what was 'is' done?
Nothing gained is more rewarding...
Than to know something fresh has begun!
Beating dead horses and riding slow turtles,
To make a point that will never be won!
Doesn't do a thing when slinging aged mud...
To accomplish an understanding,
Misunderstood.
Let us leave it alone...
Like we should!
Where is the opportunity
To let what 'was' go?
To know that today...
Has more purpose than yesterday.
Right now,
In this moment.
Let us be in 'it' without delay!
Right now,
In this moment...
Help me help us,
Find something good to do and say!
You must be tired,
Like I know I am...
To discover in review,
Nothing 'fresh' or new to be pursued!
And reliving past emotions feed,
A time that is not returning...
We should leave as is and let it be!

Purposeful Surrender
As you empty self for the Lord, blessing by Him will be poured,
Upon the others in your life, as you faithfully serve Jesus Christ,
As you empty your fleshly will, the void, The Holy Spirit shall fill,
With the things God will need, with surrender to The Spirit’s lead.
In the light of what John had said, regarding Christ, in His stead,
When Believers do become less, The Lord God begins to bless,
As Christ then becomes more, blessings around us He will pour,
When we move aside for Christ, to be God’s vessels, in this life.
So we must purpose in our heart, to God’s surrender at the start,
To become God’s vessel for, Jesus Christ, Who becomes more,
While we remain just who we are, as we serve God, near and far,
Making our purpose and intent, pleasing to God, as we are sent.
When we empty our self, for Him, of all our ways, tainted by sin,
God then fills us with new desire, with a new vision that is higher,
When in Christ, we become less, He gives to us eternal purpose,
As we submit to Christ our Lord, service for us God shall afford.
With Christ, less becomes more, as God shall open a new door,
A new door of service in His way, as Christ leads us day to day,
For service to God is not about us, but our Savior, Christ Jesus,
Who fills us with His Holy Word, to be poured till all have heard.
