Return Exactly What Was Given

Return exactly what was given to you,
To the one who gave it.
Refuse to accept.
And they will become offended by the act done.

With the telling to others of what you did.
And a mistreatment they received.
With a having of no idea why they were picked upon.
Or why the disrespect.

Return exactly what was given to you,
To the one who gave it.
And they will not admit to their own signature.
Or acknowledge from them it was sent.

Would You

If I gave you my love would you return it?
Or would you spit on it and burn it?

If I gave you my heart would you keep it safe?
Or would you break it and send it away?

If I gave you everything I had would you give me anything at all?
Or would you laugh and make me cry so much that I would fall?

If i gave you myself would i get anything back?
Or is this the last thing to take me off track?

If i didn't give anything would you give me anything first?
Or would me not giving anything make it that much worse?

If unrequited love is what this is then I'm telling you good bye.
Because I can't stand the pain that comes from all your lies.

Vanishing Point

Grow up children, dont you suffer
At the hands of one another
If you like a sleeping demon
Listen can you hear him weeping
Tears of joy and tears of sorrow
He buys love to sell tomorrow
My life aint no holiday
Ive been through the point of no return
Ive seen what a man can do
Ive seen all the hate of a woman too
Feel your heartbeat lose the rhythm
He cant touch the world we live in
Life is short but love is strong
There lies a hope that I have found
And if you try youll find it too
Remember why Im telling you
My life aint no holiday
Ive been through the point of no return
Ive seen what a man can do
Ive seen all the hate of a woman too
And they gave him away
Like in whistle down the wind
By the look on his face
He never gave in

Quick Am I To Return a 'Tude

Quick am I to return a 'tude'.
I am not a good receiver,
Of moods dumped on me.
With expectations...
I should understand,
Someone's funky attitiude!

I don't.
I did not major in psychology.
Or empathy overflow...
To have my emotions abused.

Quick am I to return a 'tude'.
I am not a good receiver,
Of moods dumped on me.
With expectations...
I should understand,
Someone's funky attitude.

I have my own issues.
And a doing it alone to correct them.
Has helped me process my weaknesses.
And I don't accept anyone telling me...
'You are strong and more experienced.'

I may be both.
But...
I am not a collector of insecurities.
Nor am I one to understand,
A delivery of another's disrespect.
Shown to me or anyone else addressed.
A maturity I may express...
Was not to me hand delivered.

Please Return My Feeling

Please return those loving feelings that I gave to you,
you have no right to them, now that we’re through.
You took them with you when you walked out on me
and never even considered where they ought to be.

I need them back, and they shouldn't be with you
I only gave them because you gave yours too,
and now that your feelings have long since gone
please send them back, so I can move on.

Rondel - II

(from the French of Wenceslas, Duke of Brabant and Luxembourg, who died in 1384.)
Long ago to thee I gave
Body, soul, and all I have---
Nothing in the world I keep:

All that in return I crave
Is that thou accept the slave
Long ago to thee I gave---
Body, soul, and all I have.

Had I more to share or save,
I would give as give the brave,
Stooping not to part the heap;
Long ago to thee I gave
Body, soul, and all I have---
Nothing in the world I keep.

God Gave Me...

God gave me eyes so I could see,
God gave me legs so I could walk,
God gave me hands so I could feel,
God gave me ears so I could hear,
God gave me a nose so I could smell,
God gave me a heart so I could love,
God gave me a brain so I could think,
I’m still trying to figure out why God gave me you.

Return Trip

I will return to my place of Birth
To that place before Mother Earth
I will return to that Day of Awakening
To that Day of a New Beginning

I will return to my very first Sun
My very first Moon, my very first Star
I will return to that place that never was far

I will return to the land of the Beautiful,
the Good, the Grateful
Where there is nothing to forgive
For there is no sin
Where there is no regret
Life is what you dream

Where Innocence is never put to test
Where all is Sacred and blessed with Happiness

I will return to my place and time of Birth
I will return
I am not Cursed

Your Gone

God gave me one heart

but its broken

god gave me two eyes

but i wish i couldnt see

god gave me to feet

i wish i could just leave

god gave me two hands

but i wish i couldnt feel

god gave me one brain

but i wish i couldnt think

god gave me my memories

but i wish i couldnt remeber

god gave me you

but i wish i never wouldve lost you

god took you away

and i wish you were still here

god gave me life

when i wish i didnt have it

god gave me all these things but the only one i wanted

he took away

Tribute Lost Fighting Men

Today we honor those who gave
The price so all the rest could say
What was in our hearts and minds
A freedom that only some can think of
From time to time
Let us bow our heads and pray
For all the soldiers that went away
Never to return home again
May what they gave be never forgotten
For if we ever do
It would be all for nothing

Whatever Is Put Into The Engine

Whatever is put into the engine...
To energize,
Is connected to the kind of ride...
Received to criticize or pride.

How well we treat and respect,
That which reflects our priorities...
Will result in what is given in return.
To be believed...
As witnessed and seen to accept or deny.

And making attempts to disconnect...
A responsibility of involvement,
To proclaim a non-acknowledgement...
Is to also profess an unconsciousness,
One is accustomed to using...
To excuse an accountability.

And escapes one takes to fade away,
Are no longer easily dismissed...
As one would wish as has been done,
In a recent past,
The hopeful are praying will return back to welcome.

The Suicide's Argument

Ere the birth of my life, if I wished it or no
No question was asked me--it could not be so !
If the life was the question, a thing sent to try
And to live on be YES; what can NO be ? to die.

NATURE'S ANSWER

Is't returned, as 'twas sent ? Is't no worse for the wear ?
Think first, what you ARE ! Call to mind what you WERE !
I gave you innocence, I gave you hope,
Gave health, and genius, and an ample scope,
Return you me guilt, lethargy, despair ?
Make out the invent'ry ; inspect, compare !
Then die--if die you dare !

Yesterdays Gone

I heard she loved you, I heard she cared,
I heard she miscarried and you were scared.
Did you run from the one,
Who conceived your child?
Yesterdays gone theres no return,
And she cries all night.
Did you run from the one
Who conceived your child?
Yesterdays done theres no return,
And she cries all night.
Solo.
I believe that a woman can be a slave to a man.
I believe that love that you gave and we try it again.
Will you return to the one,
Who conceived your child?
Yesterdays gone theres no return,
And she cries all night.
Will you return to the one,
Who conceived your child?
Yesterdays done theres no return,
And she cries all night.
Did you run from the one,
Who conceived your child?
Yesterdays gone theres no return,
And she cries all night.

Feelin' Every Touch

If I wake up in the morning
and find that you are gone
will it be because it was
too hard to say goodbye?
Or will you come back home to me again
and tell me you were wrong?
and that you really know
that you're my only guy?
Shall I just sit tight and wait for you
and pray that you'll come back?
or wake up to the truth that hurts so much?
That there's someone new, someone who
is feelin' every touch,
feelin' every touch you gave to me?

If I never see your face again
but keep my self-respect
will I make it back
or will I sit and cry?
Can't you feel the things you've done to me
and wonder how I am?
Or are you telling someone else
that you're her guy?
If I sit right still and crumble
and wait for your return
will I wake up to the truth that hurts so much?
That there's someone new, someone who
is feelin' every touch?
Feelin every touch you gave to me.

'Cause I can't take it now
and I don't know how,
I don't know how I'm gonna make it now
'cause still I know I'll always be
feelin' every touch, feelin' every touch,
feelin' every touch you gave to me.

Fool To Believe

You told me you loved me and wanted to be with me. So i gave you my love in return but you threw it back in my face. Then you told me your heart was for the taken, so I gave you mine but you broke it into pieces. You whispered sweet lies how you would cherish me. So i gave you body but you took it savagely. Then i cried my last tear because all the sweet lies you told me I was a fool to believe and kept on believing until you finally broke me.

Lover To The Dawn

And as the sparrow sings
Dawn chorus for
Someone else to hear
The thinker sits alone growing older
And so bitter
She gave them life,
She gave them all
They drained her very soul dry...dry
Hey hey hey bitter girl
Were out to sitting here digging you
We flew done here just to figure you
Its easy
Dont be so bitter
Oh oh oh crazy girl
You gave too much and you got nothing
Too many problems and not one thing
In return
Left high and dry
Door
And as the sun rise stream
Flickers on
She finds lavender
To fight the beckoning

To Accept The Doing Of Mistreatment

Under the cloak of hypnotic demon deeds,
So unaware are they who faithfully follow...
The allowing of themselves to suffer and bleed.
With a receiving of their weekly doses,
To accept the doing of mistreatment.
As if their lives are meant,
To worship their suppression.
And those who refuse to become involved,
Offend them.

Tool Of Those Foolish

You've turned your back on me?
Not once but on several occasions.
And...
Am I suppose to be offended?
Or amused.
Which do you prefer?

If you were not so quick to do this,
You would notice...
My happiness is not offended at all,
By your actions.
Nor did it come with your signature on it.
Seriously,
It didn't.

Someone must have told you,
By the doing of this...
You would get my attention,
With an overdose of curioisty?
I will admit this...
I am curious as to why,
Someone would display publicy...
Such childish stupidity.

Whoever it is that advises you,
To do the immature things you do...
I would suggest you request,
Less feeding of fiction.
And more digesting of facts.
You will become surprise...
How much aware of life you will then become.
With the stopping of your doing of that.

Trust me.
There is so much to be gained,
By living life...
Not to be used as a tool,
Of those foolish and so obvious.
