Between Grief And Nothing, I Will Take Nothing

in this small space in this narrow alley
in this room where there is only
you and me, where you love and hate me

i take this smoke, this last breath
as you leave, telling me
it is over there is no us

you challenge on this pain
that i am not prepared to accept
between you and nothing
between this grief and your leaving

it is over,
i will take nothing

we have nothing to begin with
anyway, i will take nothing

there was never something
there was never you and i am telling you

there was no me too....wanna play?
i know your games too.
