Reality Never Looked So Attractive
It's not that truth is feared,
It is the cost of getting away from it
That is getting sky high.
And at todays' prices...
Reality never looked so attractive.
Even if it does causes one to think!

Sorry
Todays a reason for living
Todays the blood from a stone
Todays a light from a candle
Helping us to find our way home
Today we carry each other
Today the past is a freak
Todays a time for forgiveness
You were never that good to me
(welcome to this world of mine)
Im sorry, I cant lie
Im wasting too much time
Drowning Ive been blind
But Ive opened up my eyes
Sorry, I cant lie
So I just say goodbye
Goodbye
Goodbye
Yeah
Todays tasting the honey
Todays the strike of a match
And todays the lines in the pavement
Helping us to find our way back
Todays the crosses we carry
Todays the strength that we need
And todays the hand of an angel
You were not the kind to believe
(welcome to this world of mine)
Im sorry, I cant lie
Im wasting too much time
Drowning Ive been blind
But Ive opened up my eyes
Sorry, I cant lie
So I just say goodbye
Goodbye
Goodbye
Yeah
Oh what a day, oh what a day, oh my god
Oh what a day, oh what a day, oh my god
Oh what a day, oh what a day, oh my god
And oh my god, and oh my god, yeah
Today we carry each other
Today we do what we should
Todays a time for forgiving
Today I wish I could...
Im sorry, I cant lie
Im wasting too much time
Drowning, Ive been blind
But Ive opened up my eyes
Sorry, I cant lie
So I just say goodbye, goodbye, goodbye
Another bye, goodbye, goodbye
Another bye, goodbye, goodbye, yeah
Another bye, goodbye, goodbye
Another bye, goodbye, bye

Todays The Day
Hold me close
You turn nighttime into day
And youre the most
Brightest star that lights my way
So come home to me now
cause it wont matter anyhow
Ive got this feeling that todays the day
Ive got this feeling todays the day
Turn me out
Turn me out on this fine day
cause all about
All the people like to play
So come home to me now
cause it wont matter anyhow
Ive got this feeling that todays the day
Ive got this feeling todays the day
Ive got this feeling that todays the day
Ive got this feeling todays the day
Oo, oo ...
Hold me close
You turn nighttime into day
And youre the most
Brightest star that lights my way
So come home to me now
cause it wont matter anyhow
Ive got this feeling that todays the day
Ive got this feeling todays the day
Ive got this feeling that todays the day
Ive got this feeling todays the day

Mr. Speaker, high natural gas prices and the summer spike in gasoline prices serve as a stark reminder that the path to energy independence is a long and arduous one.

Our Todays
Sometimes we look at our yesterdays
and wish our todays were like them,
forgetting that our todays
maybe better than our yesterdays were.
We look at the friends we had then,
forgetting we may have more friends now.
We think our life was filled with roses
and forget the roses we have now.
Our memory excludes the heartaches,
only showing good things from yesterday,
and then we look around us
at all that we have and think
maybe that our todays
are not that bad at all.

Tom Sawyer
A modern-day warrior
Mean mean stride,
Todays tom sawyer
Mean mean pride.
Though his mind is not for rent,
Dont put him down as arrogant.
His reserve, a quiet defense,
Riding out the days events.
The river
And what you say about his company
Is what you say about society.
Catch the mist, catch the myth
Catch the mystery, catch the drift.
The world is, the world is,
Love and life are deep,
Maybe as his eyes are wide.
Todays tom sawyer,
He gets high on you,
And the space he invades
He gets by on you.
No, his mind is not for rent
To any God or government.
Always hopeful, yet discontent,
He knows changes arent permanent,
But change is.
And what you say about his company
Is what you say about society.
Catch the witness, catch the wit,
Catch the spirit, catch the spit.
The world is, the world is,
Love and life are deep,
Maybe as his skies are wide.
Exit the warrior,
Todays tom sawyer,
He gets high on you,
And the energy you trade,
He gets right on to the friction of the day.

The Whole World
Together the world seems to pursue a dream
I heard over the telephone, for toying this.
Your proof of mathematics is supreme when
A little gun is waved for the world.
My interest laid in money, foolish money,
Priced too high in quality, as a meeting of minds
Inside another brain.
The world now immediately condemns
The whole of the money!
Prices too strong, prices too high,
Why on Earth do customers come?

Anna Marie
The height of the door of your love is very attractive,
And it is like driving down the Kasoa Road;
But the truth is directly known by all and i will cling on to you.
Your love to me is more educative and attractive;
And your closeness to me is more lovely and romantic;
For the naked truth is your nakedness.
Anna Marie! You are the sweet thing that ever touched my heart;
And i will be there for you always like the sunshine,
So let us take a walk on this sweet love.

Quatrain #242 - The truth, the whole truth and.........
The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth is what the law demands
but then the law is based upon the truth by which is issued its own commands.
The truth is based upon Reality where there can't be any idea of falsehood,
Reality is in fact the Absolute or Supreme Being that is really all Godhood.

Her Truth
Your truth claims to be a reality
While her truth is the reality
Your truth is just another fallacy
While her truth states actuality
Your truth tries to call her an insurgent
Just another agent
Trying to spread hatred
When her truth really speaks for those you have murdered
For those you denied existence
After they fought for their freedom
Went to the streets to express their position
And you accused them of being destroyers
Ended their lives like they worth nothing
Your truth tried to oppress them
Suppress their voices
While her truth spoke for them
Went to the squares screaming for their liberty
Fighting for their authority
Your truth is only believed by those who shared your earnings
Those who sold their souls for the Benjamins
Used religion, race and lies to serve your purpose
While her truth refused to take it all
Her truth was so pure it refused to sell the martyrs blood
Your truth has become so little
So her truth rose above it and took over the scene
Your truth was caught out
Your truth was discovered
More and more are finding her truth
Seeing the Real Truth
And yours, of course, just wished it would have listened…

Am I mistaken A rant
When shopping at the superstore
I find each time I must pay more
For food than what I used to do
And other prices increase too.
It makes rather curious
and not a little furious
Whichever store to which I’ve gone
The prices rise in unison.
I suspect conspiracy
They all agree it seems to me
To a co-ordinated plan
Simply because they think they can
Increase the profits which they make.
It’s not a case of give and take.
I can produce no evidence
I rely on my common sense
Perhaps I’m growing paranoid.
Why does the government avoid
Examining the evidence
Because they know it would incense.
The fat cats who they daren’t offend
So they keep quiet and pretend
The do not have the power to
Do as they’re supposed to do.
Protect the public not their friends
But obviously it all depends
To whom they owe their loyalty.
Not to public obviously
Until there’s an election due
That is the time they promise to
Investigate the reasons why
Food prices have become so high
You can believe if you so choose
But as for me I will refuse
To waste my time by listening to
What they are promising to do.
They promise much deliver less
That’s why this country’s in a mess.
We cannot trust the government.
That much at least is evident
The fat cats just ignore the rules.
They see the government as fools
Who have strength but not the will
One single promise to fulfil.
Of course the government deny
This is the truth and they reply.
As usual with platitudes
There is no change of attitude.
The rich grow richer every day.
We have no choice we have to pay.
The prices they demand for food
Maybe I have misunderstood.
And politicians never lie.
And that truth is that they try
To protect us from the greedy few.
Who can tell them what to do.
Governments of both left and right
Have not the strength of will to fight
The power of the money men
Who ever lives at number ten.

All The Demons And Ghosts
You have stolen my 'todays', yet you shan't steal my tomorrow-
Thought upon your deceitful ruse surely hastens sorrow!
Nary shall there be, for you, a proper penance,
Somehow though, you must come to truth's acceptance!
The only way to take leave of your deceit-
Is to allow for my truth to defeat,
All the Demons and Ghosts
Responsible for your shame, the most!
For if but only, our children's posterity
You owe, at the least, your honesty!
Without such, your downfall you have surely brought,
As is, to tell the truth, is what you ought!
They say: 'the truth shall set you free'-at least you, it shall keep-
Otherwise choice made, causes my heart's weep!

Theme with Variations
I never loved a dear Gazelle--
Nor anything that cost me much:
High prices profit those who sell,
But why should I be fond of such?
To glad me with his soft black eye
My son comes trotting home from school;
He's had a fight but can't tell why--
He always was a little fool!
But, when he came to know me well,
He kicked me out, her testy Sire:
And when I stained my hair, that Belle
Might note the change and this admire
And love me, it was sure to dye
A muddy green, or staring blue:
Whilst one might trace, with half an eye,
The still triumphant carrot through

Rosanna and 40 cents
Rosanna was my schoolmate
Sharing the same classroom for four years
When we first met, I was afraid
Something of her that I feared
She’s bigger and taller
Beautiful like a mayflower
Looked at me like I was her little brother
But deep inside, treated me like her lover
We were together
Everywhere thereafter
Was talk of the school
It was cool
To be labeled
As the most ideal couple
What’s made me attractive to her?
My principality and discipline
60 cents a day given by mother
20 cents a day for fried banana and a drink
At school, that was my daily meals
It’s a frill and thrill
When you can save 40 cents
It would make sense
The result will come in the end
Between Rosanna and 40 cents
She definitely will understand

Waiting For Changes
Office blocks, corner shops, traffic jams on every street, the same old rush around
Obsolete, Im a freak, in a show on brighton beach, as the snow comes down
Realitys kicking me, knocking me right off my feet, as the sky spins round
Were waiting for changes
Rejected and dented
Were waiting for changes
The lights green but todays red
Laundry stops, by the lock, on a sunday afternoon, with all that fuss
Cantelowes skateboard shows, tennants extra by a row of recycle bins
Were waiting for changes
Different perspectives
Were waiting for changes
The lights green but todays red
Take a ride to charing cross, join the masses as they shop, their lives away
29s the northern line, heading back to lose our minds, to break the chain
Were waiting for changes
Rejected and dented
Were waiting for changes
The lights green but todays red
Were waiting for changes
Different perspectives
Were waiting for changes
The lights green but todays red
Im waiting for changes
Im waiting for changes
Im waiting for changes.

Warmth Into Frost
When you ignore your Heart
all that you do will never be enough
When we don't pay attention
to the wordless thoughts
it ain't so tough
to get caught up
and latch onto irrelevent stuff
...and what's the cost - what's the cost?
When you're playin' high stakes
Gambling with Fakes
and the world takes
your Warmth that burns
and turns it cold
like a Frost...What's the cost?
What's the cost
when
it couldn't be clearer
that the one in the mirror
is lost...?
IS ALL THE WORLD'S WARMTH
SLOWLY TURNING TO FROST? ?

Magic
Charmed for a short time,
By your weaving of magic,
I looked away,
Realizing,
Magic spells can be
broken,
Todays enchantments give
way for tomorrow.
