Certainly, we are hurt by the high fuel prices because it raises our cost.

Reality Never Looked So Attractive
It's not that truth is feared,
It is the cost of getting away from it
That is getting sky high.
And at todays' prices...
Reality never looked so attractive.
Even if it does causes one to think!

We Are The Same...
gas rices up,
fuel prices up,
grocery prices up,
heating prices up...
and the poor man's dollar
is still a dollar!
cant afford sickness,
cant afford hospitals,
cant afford shelter,
cant afford, cant afford.
it's time to band together
in small communities,
and be neighbors again.
we cannot rely on the government,
on churches, on the elite...
we have each other,
and that is all!
forget about differences.
skin color, religion, politics...
let it go.
we are the same!
same needs, same desires,
same prayers, same love...
red blooded, dirty, stinking
human beings...
human beings in need
of each other!

In addition to this, they already have a fuel cell car on the road in Japan. It is subsidized from within the corporation because they are still at a high cost.

Mr. Speaker, high natural gas prices and the summer spike in gasoline prices serve as a stark reminder that the path to energy independence is a long and arduous one.

The Game is Over
life is like a racing game
there are obstacles that should we avoid
and there are bonus that suddenly appear
sometimes we lose control though we have been expert
the fuel is countdown and the level accelerates by the time
it depends to us whether we safely drive,
try to reach the score as high as we can,
don't care what troubles ahead,
or just enjoy the ride
all have different prices and consequences
but it always same in the end, the game designed to over

The Whole World
Together the world seems to pursue a dream
I heard over the telephone, for toying this.
Your proof of mathematics is supreme when
A little gun is waved for the world.
My interest laid in money, foolish money,
Priced too high in quality, as a meeting of minds
Inside another brain.
The world now immediately condemns
The whole of the money!
Prices too strong, prices too high,
Why on Earth do customers come?

Hurts
Hurt for hurt, don’t hurl at anyone
Unless his hurts outweigh his helps.
Hurt for hurt, avoid at any cost
Unless his outweigh your need of him.

Gasoline
You need fuel to get where you're going,
A source of combustion in the engine
That circulates how energy's flowing—
Fluidly in a fast forward motion.
You need fuel to achieve the high speeds,
The rushing feeling of never stopping—
Progress eternal—consumption exceeds
While the necessity of it's dropping.
We have better, quicker, new addictions
Advertised as things you must have to live.
The motivation of constant action
Plugs you in at the pump—stay submissive,
Hooked on personal, commercial vaccines:
Fill up on your fuel, your gasoline.

In the immediate aftermath of the hurricane, I sent a letter to EPA Administrator Stephen L Johnson urging him to waive regulations to allow for the early sale of winter grade fuel to help with gasoline shortages and gasoline prices.
Fuel He Heralds
To be frustrated over fuel, one hates and then loves,
High-flown terms enter the imagination, one heralds.
So then quiet sets in to achieve new tasks of light,
Light has been a confounded substance or just
A strange matter of particles, already the winning.
Fuel is an event of the soul, the very indignant matter
That is housed in the heart, a mansion of love and blood.
To be this fuel called blood, please us with money and then
The foolishness of an obese man is gone, always abhorred.

Theme with Variations
I never loved a dear Gazelle--
Nor anything that cost me much:
High prices profit those who sell,
But why should I be fond of such?
To glad me with his soft black eye
My son comes trotting home from school;
He's had a fight but can't tell why--
He always was a little fool!
But, when he came to know me well,
He kicked me out, her testy Sire:
And when I stained my hair, that Belle
Might note the change and this admire
And love me, it was sure to dye
A muddy green, or staring blue:
Whilst one might trace, with half an eye,
The still triumphant carrot through

Global fuel and consumption, however, is projected to increase by 100 to 150 percent over the next 20 years, driven largely by the rapidly growing Chinese and Indian economies; and this growth and this increase in demand will force prices even higher.

Whatever It Takes!
fuel prices keep rising,
and it trickles down.
grocery prices skyrocket,
people walking behind empty buggies.
small businesses shutting down,
people left without work.
either the rent, the light bill,
or a little something to eat,
you've gotta choose.
over half the people in this country
on the edge of going under.
and it's as bad or worse
around the world.
where does it stop?
where does it end?
the elite continue making money
on the backs of the poor.
starting wars, drilling for oil,
making closed door deals.
and the anger rises, simmers,
and threatens to boil.
the only hope for the future
is an equal distribution of goods,
a system where everybody
that will work has a chance.
now the question is
what does it take
for that to happen.
do we have to burn Rome down again?
whatever it takes...
now is the time!

You can't tell the cost of food and fuel without being the head of a household; you can't appreciate the love of your parents without having children of your own.
A bibliophile of little means is likely to suffer often. Books don't slip from his hands but fly past him through the air, high as birds, high as prices.

Warmth Into Frost
When you ignore your Heart
all that you do will never be enough
When we don't pay attention
to the wordless thoughts
it ain't so tough
to get caught up
and latch onto irrelevent stuff
...and what's the cost - what's the cost?
When you're playin' high stakes
Gambling with Fakes
and the world takes
your Warmth that burns
and turns it cold
like a Frost...What's the cost?
What's the cost
when
it couldn't be clearer
that the one in the mirror
is lost...?
IS ALL THE WORLD'S WARMTH
SLOWLY TURNING TO FROST? ?
