Pitching Away Bales Of Daily Nonsense
My scars and wounds,
You will never see.
A pain to relive...
Is not for me.
And it is not that I heal quickly.
Sharing that process,
Is something I do not believe.
Why should I wear my heart on my sleeve?
To prove my life has not been struggle free.
My scars and wounds,
You will never see.
A pain to relive...
Is not for me.
There is no reason for you or me,
To validate something we both can agree...
No one familiar with digging out of ditches.
Or pitching away bales of daily nonsense,
Is going to be doing that without a bruise.

The Scars That U Leave
I don’t know how much more
How much more I can take
Of this crap you keep doing
Every night I go to bed
With the scars of the day
Scars that you inflicted
And the pain searing through my body
A pain that was caused by your hands
Inflicted by your hatred
A pain remembered the next morning
Only to be added to that night
A never ending pain
As the wounds are never left to heal
But are added to
Over and over again
Know I add a new pain
A pain I inflict on myself
A cut that you didn’t make
But was caused by you all the same

Pain
Like the pain in my trick arm
the pain i feel is my heart beating
and my muffled breathing
i stand outside staring at the sun
having my morning cigarrette
smiling at the earth that lay so cool around me
people walk by but do they see that my smile
is just my cover
do they see the pain inside
im complicated and hard to read
like the scars on my wrists my smiles fade
like the fresh blood they bleed
a new thought comes into mind
the blood stains like the marked impresion
on my heart of all the things i love
and all the ppl i care for
when i look back now and see
all the pain i have caused others
and the pain they have caused me
it breakes my heart to remember how cold
i used to be
my pain flows every day and stuff happends
it hurts and sometimes i wish i could freeze
and heal my wounds and the wounds of others
but pain will never stop coming so its best
not to let it get you and take over

The scars inside will not heal
There is noubt different than being raped
and being pushed down mentaly.
except that the wounds also bleed inside.
The mental scars will not heal.
They do not fade.
There was no difference between being raped
and being run over by a lorry
except that afterwards the sicko asked if you enjoyed it.
As if it were a game.
And still the scars have not healed.
There is no difference of being raped
and going head first through a top floor window.
except that afterwards you are not afraid of hights.
but of half the human population.
And still the scars linger on with the pain.
They do not fade.
Fear of rape is a storm brewing.
Never towalk out alone
when I see a man coming towards me.
All the fears reopen.
And all there is to do is run for dear life.
This scar will not go it will not heal.
Never to open the door to a knock
without the fear has he found me.
What if its him.
All of the fears hold me back.
The scars do not fade they will not heal

Scars
Now I see that you are pushing me away,
The scars remain as my pain,
I can see that my veins are full of scars,
Scars of remaining past,
Scars from all those cutting,
Scars from all the pain I went through,
Love is vain,
The rain might pour down,
But nothing has stop me from seeing the scars I have left behind,
Nothing can’t stop me from seeing the remaining scars,
All my scars, all my memories remain as my pain.

Scars, secrects someone else knows
My heart is bleeding my eyes are crying
Inside I almost feel like i'm dying
There are scars that just won't fade
But the tears that I cry can wash away
But I lock away the pain, put away the fears
Show you only smiles not the hidden tears
So what if I have a cut or two
Nobody notices especially you
You wouldn't notice anything was wrong by the way I act
Thats how I wanted it to be to all stay in tact
My secrects not spilled you know how I feel
But now you know it's going to be harder to heal
I didn't want to admit it but it was easier to lie
Hiding the hurt and emptiness to smile instead of cry
It's more harder now knowing someone else knows
It would have been better if I kept my secrets closed
You never would expect anything like this from me
It can get anyone can't you see
Not all scars show not all wounds heal
Sometimes you can't always see the pain someone feels

Let Me Count The Wounds In Your Heart
pain is so ordinary you say
we get used to every pain
we cound the wounds
and we cannot finish
somehow
some refuse to remember
what pain is
what is the use of remembering
what hurts you
but i am different i say
i count the wounds and i always remember what hurts me
every detail
every note of the pain like a very sad song
that i always hum
i keep all these sad refrains in my heart
not that i have learned to hurt myself
needlessly unnecessarily
it is simply a matter of
remembering the beauty of these wounds
that healed
gathering all over again the lessons learned
the loves lost
the strengths regained
at the end i see the scars
drawing
sketching
this face of a very strong man
undefeated
redeemed
smiling over the pains
that almost conquered him
almost, yes always almost
because he always
survives and always
he learns, always
always, yes, always

Unable To Admit It
Accept your wounds and scars?
To forgive and forget the fact,
That upon me they have been afflicted?
No love that deep will I ever have,
For anyone who believes I can be left...
With tears wept to then leave me,
Grieving over 'their' pain and anguish.
Accept your wounds and scars?
To forgive and forget the fact,
That upon me they have been afflicted?
What makes you think to you I am addicted?
What has you convinced,
A relationship with you makes sense?
I've long been healed from your abuses.
Accept your wounds and scars,
To leave imprinted on my mind when you please?
You just don't get it do you?
When I said I loved you...
Nothing in that confession shared,
Said anything about abandoning the love I have for myself.
You are the fool unable to admit it...not me!
There is nothing about you that has stayed with me to crave.

Scars of the Heart
Scars of the Heart
At times it seems like no relief
We can suffer long with our grief
Will the heart ever mend
Will the pain ever end
The tears come from my eyes
But it’s my heart that cries
People ask how am I
They would know if they see me cry
From when my wife passed
I have scars of the heart that will last
My heart may heal after time goes by
The scars of my heart will be till I die

A Topic On Pain
now i have learned
to refuse seeing you again
i think i should be wise enough
there is always the new pain in old wounds
we often agree to talk about it
i give you time enough
to forget
but you have always insisted in lingering
there is no use over broken collections
i buried mine
scars are not good to look at
there is no premium for pain
the next time you call
my line shall be busy.

Time Heals
If youre bleeding,
Then everyone can see youre bleeding
They can call for the doctor,
Wholl provide what the diagnosis says youre needing
Then hell take away your pain
But if your heart,
Your heart has been broken
And you dont wear it on your sleeve
No one can tell,
Your hell goes unspoken
But theres one thing you must believe
Time heals the wounds no one can see
Time heals the wounds that no one can see
If youre crying
Then everyone can see you crying
And they all sympathize
But it just doesnt matter
Though they may be trying,
They cant feel the hurt inside
You cant go on,
Youve gone to the limit
And your life seems to slip away
Youre on your own
Alone you must face it
And tomorrows so far away
You got to hold on baby
Got to give it time to heal
Time heals the wounds that no one can see
You must believe what they say is true
It dos wonders for ya, yeah, yeah

Sitting Seeking Pity
Never will these wounds known that I carry,
Affect you directly.
When I earned my scars you were not involved.
Not to see them inflicted when I enlisted,
Into the military.
Not to hear of my friends being killed and buried.
Or the toil that took on my emotions.
I've already done the numbing of the mind thing.
You were not there,
To see me grieve over the death of my son.
Or the pain I felt blaming myself and everyone,
Regarding how that was done.
Or when both of my marriages ended!
And I was then still quite young.
All you know is what you see.
You have no idea what is inside of me.
Or the devotion I still have for my family.
After years now spent not seeing my mom and dad.
Very close those feelings you will not believe.
Or seeing them die that has left me sad.
Nothing I do has been magically produced.
Even forgiving myself and others,
Has reduced me to tears at times.
When I know of those folks who have sacrificed their lives,
For their beliefs.
As you wallow away in pettiness...
To complain about your issues.
And how from you they wont leave!
While you invite them on a daily basis.
And you say of me for you I show no empathy?
You have no idea how much I care!
I am just not like you.
Sitting seeking pity.
Because my cries for help,
Is all I choose to do!
My knees are not intended,
To be bended and kept knelt!
Never will these wounds known that I carry,
Affect you directly.
I am too aware of those steps I've taken.
I am too aware of what it takes to celebrate life.
And too much aware of a happiness,
I have chosen to separate from what has happened.
Pulled out of despair and dragged away from strife.
I will listen!
But I am not here to compare to share to relive.
Any of your agonies on your sleeve you so willfully give.
I am here to assist your getting over it.
Not to sit with you and feast upon defeat.
I am not that kind of 'friend'.
And those friends you do not need.
So stop rehearsing your tragedies.
Let's take a hike through the park,
And hug a few trees.
Let's express to them our gratitude.

This Patient's Prayer
L-rd, ‘please listen to my plea now,
Make the pain in me subside,
As YOU do heal my wounds, L-rd,
From the pain ~ where can I hide? ’
My Faith in You’s enduring,
I need not the pain, ~ YOU know,
Why can I not be pain free?
This healing’s awful slow.
The leg is getting better,
YOU are seeing to that,
I’m aware of YOUR daily presence,
As each day ~ to YOU ~ I chat.
I know I must have Nerve Pain,
Each Minute, Hour and Day,
Please L-rd, ‘Listen to my Prayer’
‘Make the Pain go away today’.
‘Can I not be pain free?
Must YOU remind me that YOU’RE near?
As slowly the tablets work,
And the pain does disappear? ’

Making Love To A Broken Soul
Where are you
Wherever you are
I’ll be seeking you
for making love to you
Your pain, your anguish
your anger, your broken-heartedness
I’ll mend it all…
making love to you
Your tears are there for me
you can always count on me
my love is forever
Soul, mind and body
Healing is a life process
wounds heal up, scars remain
Let me touch you there
Where it hurts the most
Gentleness and Tenderness galore
for I’ll be making love
to a broken soul.

In These Poems That We Write
these are the wounds of the heart
let your fingers pierce that part
blood drips from a wounded heart
pain gleaming against the light
time has not healed the wounds
you can hear the screaming sounds
these are the wounds of my heart
we are not many miles apart
we share the wounds of the heart
in these poems that we draft

What Happens When I Go...
so many times will i watch this
there is no way that i can stop watching this
show of a
beautiful body
when i was about to go, i feel the loss
and the grief is like rain at night
there is no ceasing
of the sounding and pounding of the
pain
i have hesitations of course
i am not the familiar kind that goes into
the house of
the mundane
must i bury myself in the terse tension
under my bed?
i cannot betray what myself has been praying
for
to be free for a while and make the most
of what time is left
and so i go
into the familiar places of the heart
meeting everyone
nurturing the wounds and trying to
erase the scars
when i arrive there i feel the shrinking of
my body
my hands are touching my feet
the door when it closes suddenly becomes
a very tall man
i am looking up
to that artificial light
i am lost again
and defeated

Endless Dark
Softly the light shines in through
Gates of grace on me and you
Deceiving our restless hearts
A flickering flame so serene
It fires the night so we could see
Feeling alone so strong
And I know where I belong
Away from your guards
That heal our wounds in life
This endless dark
Endless dark
This endless dark
Lovely the light shines on you
Through the gates of fire entombed
Feeling on your own
Weak is the blaze that kept me away
From cruelty and tenderness embraced
Saving my soul no more
And I know where I belong
Away from your guards
That heal our wounds in life
This endless dark
Endless dark
This endless dark
I know where I belong
Away from you guards
That heal our wounds in life,
This endless dark
The shadow on you that tamed your burning heart
That buried my truth right into your arms
The words of the tomb of I fall on lone
That heal our wounds and light , this endless dark
That heal our wounds and light , this endless dark
That heal our wounds and light , this endless dark
That heal our wounds and light , this endless dark

Let Not
let not the tears in your eyes
be of my death my love ones
but of words left unsaid
stuff left undone
and love left unportraied
let not those simple i love you's
go to waste cause life is short
and allow not the brewing war
to put a damp on your smile
but may it spark a revolution
for a growing civilization
let not the scars on the body
be the wounds on your heart
for it what hurt the soul we should
worry about as the pysical wound
heal with time as the mental scars
last a life time

Scars
We all have scars.
Some visible and some hidden to the world.
We sometimes try to hide the physically scars because we think it is ugly,
but really having scars is not a bad thing.
It reminds us we can heal and get through the bad times both physically and mentally when we are ripped or torn apart.
So embrace you scars and keep on healing.
For healing and battling is a part of life.
Let people see your scars and how strong you are by healing.

Un-Break My Heart
Un-break my heart,
Become part of me again,
You broke my heart and never fixed it,
Leaving a hole that sucked in my soul,
My days grow darker and my life grows shorter,
And yet you are no where to be found,
Please un-break my heart,
And say you will love me again,
Un-do all this hurt that you have caused,
When you walked out of my life,
Help me to un-cry these tears,
That i cried over you so many nights,
Please un-break my heart,
take away this pain,
that's slowly killing my soul,
darkening my days,
And creating a back hole,
please heal these stab wounds,
You've caused with your words,
Heal these scars on my heart,
That have become a part of me,
They are threatening to re-open,
Threatening to cause more pain and hurt,
Please father Un-break my heart,
Walk through the door,
The door i often sit in front,
Waiting for your return,
I need your love,
I need you,
I need your arms around me,
And for you to never let go of me,
You brought darkness into my life the moment you walked out,
So please bring back the light,

Not Yet Down
I have wounds too,
Like you do.
Some just take too long
To heal they hurt
For many years,
The pain they birth
Have dried my tears.
I have scars too,
Perhaps you do.
Seems Life's battles -
They do not end
All these struggles
Where Lessons lend
Insight and some truth
There lies the fruit.
I am tired and weary
Like you, maybe.
And yet I find
Strength to punch back
One more time
In Life's Ring
Stand up
And fight!
Till I'm black and blue
But
Not
Down.
