People Like You Just Don't Get It
People like you,
Just don't get it.
'Get what? '
Don't worry about it
If you had it you would know.
And...
Maybe you are right.
You once said,
The homeless and hungry...
Was a situation for those,
Who chose to be so.
You once said,
'There are jobs out there.
Those folks just don't want to work.
When 'I' was in that situation...
I walked down the road,
To ask my neighbor if I could pitch some hay...
To buy groceries and pay my 'mortgage'.
And my father and his father did the same thing.
Today...
People think they deserve more than that.'
People like you,
Just don't get it.
'Get what? '
Don't worry about it.
If you had it you would know.
And...
Maybe you are right.
Some people just bit off more than they could chew.
And if they had good credit like you...
None of them would be in the same predicament.
People like you,
Just don't get it.
'Get what? '
Don't worry about it.
What you don't know is intended.

All Things To All People
all people have worries
worries that wake them
worries about things yet to come
worries about worries are what worry some
i look out my eye
and behold I see people
big bold beautiful people
i see brown people
gold people
yellow people
red people
orange people
purple people
pink people
white people
yet I don’t see colored people
i see a people as one
a people capable
a people that should be grateful
grateful for the blessings that we can all share as people
to love
to grow
to build
to sow
people in my neighborhood
people it’s all good
undivided by vanity
an unbroken sea of humane humanity
people must rely on a shoulder to cry one
we all are people
we are people
old and young
rich or poor
used or new
let us be valued as people
let us value each other as people
persons
beings
individuals
not things
people
and all things to all people
to all nations
at all stations
in every situation

Forgiveness Is Not the Key
I look down at the people, I worry about their woes
I worry about their joys, their friends, their foes
I worry about their lives and the way they live it
I worry about their dreams and wonder if they’ll heed it
I worry about the tears I see running down their face
I worry about their lies they tell in this time and place
I worry about their truths that always hurt more
I worry about what they will definitely have in store
I look down at the people who never showed compassion
Who hate each other with the strongest passion
Who pushed me aside as though I were nothing
I wonder, do they care about anything?
I realise they treat each other as dirt
And they revel within all the hurt
Not one ever worried for me
I’m so glad that I can finally see
I refuse to worry or care about them and their petty ways
I will never again worry for their days
Because not one ever cared for me
Forgiveness is not the key
Not when I live life so lonely
I want to be loved only
For them I’ll never again feel woe
Because I’ll be nothing but their foe

A Piece Of Myself... And For Myself
people in my place worry about me
why i do not worry about next year
the next planting season after this year's bumpy harvest where every room in the house is filled with corn.
people in my place ask me where shall i live after next year
and you should soon inherit the house that i built for 50 years.
they all worry about me with all those particular items like what shall happen
to the glasses in my cabinet
or the white car in my blue garage
or my gold watch and my silver spoons and my china plates
they worry about my gold fish in my aquarium
who shall feed them when i am no longer home
people worry a lot about me
and i begin sometimes when i get tired listening to all the questions
asking: why me? why do you worry all about me?
i am not even dead yet and have no plans retiring from life's works
like the arts and this
pottery and this poetry
people worry about me
and never about us.
i am tired and all i need is sleep.
and i do not worry at all.
because i know that if i am dead
then i am dead
and i do not ask for more
not even on extended dreams
not even on anything
perhaps they worry about me because they all worry about themselves
perhaps i am their mirror
or perhaps they think that with my behavior
i should not have lived
in the first place.

Have Not
Some people have not a worry;
Some people have not a care –
As to money, or where they’ll sleep
Or what they’ll eat or wear…
some people take it for granted
Their luck in all these things;
Some people have not that privilege –
For some people have not anything.
Some people have not a worry;
Some people have not a care –
’Cause they’ve always had a place to call home
And a filling meal to share…
Some people think this is normal;
Some people have never thought
That for others it’s not normal at all –
’cause some people have nought.
Yet money can’t buy happiness;
Or peace of mind maintain
Some of the happiest people
Have not a penny to their name.
Can’t put a price on happiness
Where would you even start?
Peace of mind is priceless
But now I have not even that…
Dont Worry
Theres no need for you,
Baby,
It aint what you think,
So dont worry,
[verse 1]
You remember back in the day when,
We thought it was special,
When we always stayed down,
No matter where we went youd stay in touch,
Two people that were just so in love,
Now you probably aint feelin much,
Like things aint really been the way they used to be,
And you say it seems like I changed,
But Im still the same.
[chorus (2x)]
Theres no need for you,
(to worry bout me)
Baby,
(dont worry bout me)
It aint what you think,
(you still got me)
So dont worry,
(dont worry bout, dont worry bout me)
Even though it seems,
(youre losing me)
And things,
(aint what they used to be)
Baby,
(I aint gonna leave)
Dont worry,
(dont worry bout, dont worry bout me)
[verse 2]
I was headin out to cali,
For a show,
Said that on tuesday,
Id be home,
Left a message on your voicemail
Sayin Id call you later,
To inform you Im alright,
Now you callin,
Just to tell me that you heard,
I was seen in a bentley with my girls,
So Im on my way to a spot where people hang,
But nothings changed.
[chorus (2x)]
[bridge]
Theres no need to
Worry bout what
I do when Im away.
(dont worry bout a damn thing)
Dont worry bout what I do in my time,
(dont worry bout a damn thing)
Dont worry bout how I do when I put it down,
(dont worry bout a damn thing)
Trust in my everythings gonna be alright,
Gonna work it out, be home tonight.

Look What The Good People Done
They were drinkin his wine
They were usin his name
They were takin the time to take
His name in vain
Look what the good people done to him
Look what the good people done to him
They were havin their fun
Look what the good people done
Well, the good people say things that they
Dont really mean
They look so convincing cause theyre
So squeaky clean
Look what the good people done to him
Look what the good people done to him
Its a million to one
Look what the good people done
They (? put him on walkin down ? ), they said,
Lets go on with the show
And they pad him on whiskey and say, boy,
Youve got to go
Look what the good people done to him
Look what the good people done to him
Hes (? on the highway ? ) to none
Look what the good people done
All the newspaper men
They were lookin for names
Pulled him out of a hat
They needed someone to blame
Look what the good people done to him
Look what the good people done to him
He thought he was the one
Look what the good people done
Well, the good people say,
Keep your nose to the ground
Then theyll build you right up
Just to knock you right down
Look what the good people done to you
Look what the good people done to you
They were gettin their kicks
Look what the good people nixed
[spoken - here we go]
Look what the good people done to me
Look what the good people done to me
Look what the good people done to me
Look what the good people done to me
They were havin no fun
Look what the good people done

Its Only Rock n Roll
(rodney crowell)
Well, its only rock and roll keep you running from yourself
When the only way to slow down is to fall
And its only rock and roll that caused you to leave home
When the only way to get back is to crawl
But the record people love you they can get you on the bill
Change your name to money dress up fit to kill
People all around you everywhere you go
Dont worry if they love you son its only rock and roll
Yes and its only rock and roll keep you jumping all the time
When you really ought to sit this one out
And its only rock and roll keep on messin with your mind when
You dont know what theyre talkin about
All around the world everywhere you go
People got to have it cause its only rock and roll
Its only rock and roll yes its only rock and roll
People all around you everywhere you go
Dont worry if they love you, cause its only rock and roll
Well its only rock and roll when your moneys in the mail
And your loves on the back of the bus
And its only rock and roll when your records start to sell
And you dont know why theyre making such a fuss
Telephone receiver ringin off the wall
Can I get witness each and every call
Second that emotion chased into your soul
Dont worry lest you linger, son its only rock and roll
Its only rock and roll yes its only rock and roll
People all around you everywhere you go
Dont worry if they love you, cause its only rock and roll
Its only rock and roll. yeah its only rock and roll
All around the world everywhere you go
People got to have it son its only rock and roll

The People's World
people are good;
people are bad;
people are happy;
people are sad;
people are near;
people are far;
people are true;
people are blue;
people are white;
people are right;
people are silent;
people are violent;
people can throw;
people can grow;
people can share;
people can care;
people can unite;
people can divide;
people can fool;
people can rule;
people can trust;
people are worst;
don't think i became mad.... what ever i wrote is very common things known about people but what i want to show is that i cannot describe everything about the people as it is impossible in the same way it is impossible to understand and make every person happy around us that's it.got it!

True Story
Now listen to me people
'Cause I wanna tell you something.
Every single day
I go on my way
And I won't worry about my baby,
Worry about my girl,
'Cause she's a pretty one.
Yeah, yeah,
Whoa, yeah.
Find me another woman,
My love for her is gone,
And I don't worry about my baby,
Worry about my girl,
Oh yeah.
Just have to tell me true,
Oh yeah.
If she had to do the thing she done
She might have used more tact;
I can't be responsible
For all the love she lacked.
Yeah, yeah.
This is a true story, people.
That's a pretty tune.
I'm a'telling you
'Cause every single day
When I go on my way
I won't worry about my baby,
Yeah, she's in another town, [?]
I'll tell you, baby,
Whoa, yeah.

I Know People
I know people who help you through the night.
And I know people who
fight that very good fight.
And, I know people who're goin for the gold.
And, I know people got them aces so you better fold.
I know people who are quick to light your cigarette.
And, I know people who say 'Buddy, ya ain't seen nothin yet.'
I know people who're workin harder every day.
And I know people who got kids come out to play.
I know people, you know people, said, I'm not so different from you.
Won't you be one of my people who
Who do too.. Won't you be one of my people who.
I know people who
are cruisin up and down the track, and
I know people who
won't be comin back.
I know people ridin too high at the wheel.
And, I know people, there to cut you that dirty deal.
I know people who'll take you into town. And, I know people who
really get around.
And I know people who're buskin up and down the mall.
And, I know people who're gonna take a fall.
I know people, you know people, see, I'm not so different from you?
Won't you be one of my people too. Said, won't you be one of my people who, who do too.

Why are people always
Why are people always cheating?
Why are people always fighting?
Why are people always dieing?
Why are people always crying?
Why are people always hating?
Why are people always debating?
Why are people always trading?
Why are people always trying to fit in?
Why are people always cursing?
Why are people always bursting?
Why are people always tripping?
Why are people always not trying to be fair?
Why are people always trying to be dumb?
Why are people always playing too much?
Why are people always misbehaving?
Why are people always do drugs?
Why are people always not trying to have a future?
Why do people always try to ruin their life?
Why?

The Joker (live)
Some people call me the space cowboy
Some call me the gangster of love
Some people call me Maurice
'Cause I speak of the pompitous of love
People keep talking about me, baby
Said I'm doin' you wrong
Well, don't worry, don't worry
'Cause I'm right here at home
Cause I'm a picker, I'm a grinner
I'm a lover, and I'm a sinner
I play my music in the sun
I'm a joker, I'm a smoker
I'm a midnight toker
I sure don't want to hurt no one
You're the cutest thing that I ever did see
I really love your peaches, want to shake your tree
Lovey-dovey, lovey-dovey all the time
Ooo-eee baby, I'll sure show you a good time

Wicked World
The world today is such a wicked thing
Fighting going on between the human race
People give good wishes to all their friends
While people just across the sea are counting the dead
A politicians job they say is very high
For he has to choose whos got to go and die
They can put a man on the moon quite easy
While people here on earth are dying of old diseases
A woman goes to work every day after day
She just goes to work just to earn her pay
Child sitting crying by a life thats harder
He doesnt even know who is his father

Some People Can Do What They Like
(robert palmer)
Im restless when I see the likes of you
Ill take it any way you want me to
If youre hungry I know youre gonna move your ground
I get breathless when I see the likes of you around
Some people, some people can do what they like
I said that some people, some people can do what they like
Know that some people, yeah some people can do what they like
When Im with you
Dont want to be with no-one else
Lets get up on it
Till we just cant stand ourselves
Theres times when love is just like poetry
Hey dont you think thatss how it ought to be
Some people, some people can do what they like
Some people, some people can do what they like yeah yeah
Some people, some people can do what they like
Hey lover will you be polite with me
Be covered if you spend some time with me
Im restless when I see the likes of you
Ill take you anyway you want me to
Some people, some people can do what they like
Some people, some people can do what they like
Some people, some people can do what they like
Some people, some people can do what they like
Some people, can do what they like
Some people, can do what they like

People In the City
… people eat junk food and curry
because they are always in a hurry
… people collide into each other
without saying sorry
… people talk on mobile phones
in high pitch tones
… people hardly ever smile
because they are paranoid or shy
… people suffer from obesity
because they drive everywhere
… people inhale polluted air
because of fumes in the atmosphere
… people litter the streets
because the penalty fines are too cheap
… people commit crimes in the streets
because there aren’t enough cops on the beat
… people are always late
because the railway tracks are out of date
… people live on credit
because they pay bills by direct debit
… people are unable to relax
because they pay high income tax
… people suffer from stress
because they never rest

Dont You Worry bout A Thing
(s. wonder)
Everybodys got a thing
But some dont know how to handle it
Always reachin out in vain
Just taking the things not worth havin
Chorus:
But dont you worry bout a thing
Dont you worry bout a thing (dont you worry, baby)
cause Ill be standing on the side when you check it out
They say your style of lifes a drag
And that you must go other places
Just dont you feel too bad
When you get fooled by smiling faces
Chorus
When you get off your trip
Dont you worry bout a thing
Dont you worry bout a thing

Everybody needs a change
A chance to check out the new
Youre the only one who see
The changes you take yourself through

A Asome Poem About PEOPLE
Some people
Care about you, some people
Don’t care,
Make fun of you and walk away,
Some people,
Run past, some people
Hand you presents,
Give you a pat on the back,
Some people
You love, some people
You don’t know
Some people, some people,
You do,
Some people
You notice, some people
Eat cauliflower, some people
Are teenagers,
Some people walk to restaurants,
Sit down at the counter,
Eat there food, through it at
People,
Some people never notice you,
Some people always look, some people
Want to take you away, some people
Will never exist
Some people are other people; some people are you, some people
Die ever second,
Some people are you
