On Fresh Bending Knees
Every effort has been taken,
To prevent their own progress.
And successful they have been.
Mentally and physically speaking.
But the spiritual realm,
Is not of their creation.
And this upsets them when they pray.
Believing God is easily tricked,
By false appearances...
Made to deceive on fresh bending knees.

Talking To A Handful Of Bananas
Choosing to dismiss warnings,
With comments made and the giving of clues...
There will be many who will stay defiant,
In the keeping of their false beliefs.
No matter if historically it is proven to them,
They have been led down a path to locate something...
For them that does not or has not ever existed.
And this is understandable.
Only a few have escaped from the act of hoodwinking.
It's like trying to prevent a teenager from entering into a mall.
Or keeping worshippers in a church from having a bake sale.
It is pointless to make attempts to pry away these fixtures,
That have cemented themselves in minds.
And warning someone not to overdo what is done,
Because it eventually will mentally and physically confine...
Can be compared to talking to a handful of bananas.
And getting debatable results for the effort one finds,
Will be found to be time consuming.

Activated! And Applied Swiftly
It is important to keep,
Mentally and physically disciplined.
An active mind and body,
Aren't so fast to wear down.
Especially if you have annoying little kids,
Getting on your nerves and running around.
Or grandchildren.
Although loved!
But isn't it nice...
To be able to leave town?
To breathe fresh air!
Listening to the sound of silence.
And as often as available cash found,
Will allow.
Affording a recess,
From bouts of shouting and names yelled.
Or overhearing whispers murmured,
From someone who wishes you to go to hell!
'I heard that!
And 'if' I hear those words from you again,
You're going to get it!
Laugh if you want to.
But I'll provoke more than a joke on you.
Do you hear me?
Do you HEAR ME? '
It is important to keep,
Mentally and physically disciplined.
To prevent agonizing wishes...
Picked from distant memories.
With no need to reminsce.
Especially when days of hesitation rush,
To rest upon aging thighs and butts!
Finding you have sat too long,
Sitting and getting out of touch!
And aching with sore muscles...
Feeling a need to curse and often cuss.
When you could have spent a few minutes a day...
Moving your feet to a rhythm kept.
And obeying receptively,
A fast paced beat for moments of sweating.
Knowing how and when to use the stamina,
In emergencies when needed.
It is important to keep,
Mentally and physically disciplined.
They are like secret weapons,
Activated!
And applied swiftly,
When the time comes to fly away from nonsense!
Without a need to threaten to swing a cane.
Or remembering where it was left,
To do it!
'Has anyone seen my cane?
You better not let me find it too soon!
I wish you all shut up in there!
You're going to get it!
Laugh if you want to.'

After hurting myself like that, I could not go back immediately to racing. I was in no condition, mentally or physically. That helped me to strengthen myself to go through the hard times that were ahead with my business, and to be successful.

It Doesn't Pay To Deceive
You know what has been made easy,
For many people to do?
Make declarations about others that are not true.
Then to have people convinced about it too.
Without the one chosen and selected to be defamed,
Knowing a thing about who has brought them shame.
Until those who believed that would advantage from this,
Are eventually discovered to become physically limited.
Or mentally sick.
If not witnessed to be suffering from both.
It doesn't pay to deceive,
With beliefs an accomplishment will be received.

There Are Many In Relationships Still Waiting For It
Trust is a creation that is developed over time.
Anyone believing it should be found immediately,
Should scratch that off of their list of preferences.
And 'demanding' that to be a priority.
Trust developed comes.
Like a respect that is given that becomes understood.
Even though a trust is wished...
There are many in relationships still waiting for it.
With a keeping of it away...
In the hopes that it comes to display itself,
Without them putting forth any effort.
And these are the people who mostly deceive.

How People Grow from Their Experiences
There are very few,
Who dare to say they qualify...
To identify themselves,
As bona fide human beings.
Can say...
They have lived their lives,
Expriencing pain, emotional stress...
Caused either mentally or physically.
With a witnessing of happiness, loss...
Love and the affects of feeling loneliness,
After someone loved has passed away...
From life!
To then say...
Nothing what they have experienced,
To witness...
Has not taught them lessons.
Many of which have aided in a peace of mind,
To claim as it has been earned.
How people grow from their experiences,
Depends upon the condition,
Of how they have accepted the reality of being human.
Others,
However...
Are still relying on their pretentions to keep them,
Making false appearances they sell to others...
As a means to pass their judgements.

My God Is Special
I am physically blind...
But oh God, thanks be to you for your spiritual sight.
I am physically deaf...
But oh God, thanks be to you that
Iam able to hear your sweet, sweet voice.
I physically cannot speak...
But God, thaks be to you for knowing
And understanding all my needs.
I physically cannot walk...
But oh God, thanks be to you for leading
And guiding me in your righteous way.
Thanks be to you oh God, for letting me know
That I am special.
Because you are special to me.

Age
People
Older to me think
I am still young
People
Younger to me think
I am become old
People
Of my age think
We are not very young
Not very old
Age does not matter
Age is in mind
Age is in thoughts
Which age does?
People talk about
Physically one may age
Mentally
One may remain young
Forget thinking of age
Be a child
Play and laugh
As much as you can
Age physically
Mentally remain young

Deception
Sighs and lies fill the air
Appearances deceive
She may seem weak
But she hides her strengths
The silence you mistake
As unintelligence
Masks a bright mind with
Things to shout at the world
Behind and exterior of calm
A war rages just below
And underneath a still facade
Her eyes burn bright and true
Sighs and lies fill the air
Appearances deceive

To Finally Accept The Process
As much as I hesitated,
And debated with myself...
To finally accept the process,
I 'allowed' myself to age.
Yes!
I 'allowed' myself to do this in stages.
Since I did not want to become overwhelmed,
By an event I was not sure I wanted to attend.
Although others I viewed seemed surprised by it too...
With a protesting shown and much unhappiness.
However, unlike them...
I decided I would not get too comfortable,
With any stage that came to end.
Some chose a stage with a wish to stay.
And fighting with themselves along the way.
I even witnessed others,
Doing their best to prevent maturity.
None physically succeeded,
But mentally...
Many could easily claim a success.
As much as I hesitated,
And debated with myself...
To finally accept the process,
I 'allowed' myself to age.
Yes!
And as each day passes,
I feel more and more blessed.
I no longer feel I should 'allow' this process.
Since I now do it without thinking about it,
With an acceptance felt for me that is best.

Appearances
What do we notice
when we look without observing?
What do we think
when we decide without understanding?
Appearances deceive.
It appears nothing is as it first appears.
I wonder about that.
I wonder about what I think.
Or, is it about what I think I think about?
Juxtaposed with other pondering perceptions
- those of the far more educated -
are my thoughts trivial and trite?
confused and confusing?
disarrayed and discombobulated?
dark and distant?
How would I know?
for I do not have or hold
nor understand fully
anyone else's thoughts.
Nor they mine.
Some thoughts appear
invalid or void...
appearances deceive.
So observe, and
try to understand.
Don't be deceived,
pay humble attention to your fellow man.

God's Test Over Time
that which comes from God endures
that which comes from man perishes
this is the acid test of enduring time
Jesus said many false prophets
will come in my name and will
deceive many but test him true?
“And many false prophets will arise
and mislead many; ” Matthew 24: 11
“But among the people there were
also false prophets, just as there will
be false teachers among you. Under
false pretenses they will introduce
destructive heresies, even denying
the Master who bought them, and thus
bring on themselves swift destruction.” 2 Peter 2: 1
But will they come in his name?
And will they really deceive many?
And will people really believe in them?
“Then if anyone says to YOU, ‘Look!
‘There is the Christ, ’ or, ‘There! ’ do not
believe it. For false Christ's and false
prophets will arise and will give great signs
and wonders so as to mislead, if possible,
even the chosen ones” Matthew 24: 23-24

Wrongdoings
People seek solutions or someone to blame,
For decisions they have made...
To soothe their disappointments.
And that has been an easy activity for many,
To choose to do when taking responsibility...
For one's own actions,
Has never been conducive to campaigns spearheading...
The significance and the importance of truth.
There are qualities of life totally missed,
People will not experience at all...
Because materialism is not involved.
And those values attached to those qualities,
Have no price tag to charge to a credit card or layaway.
It is sad to see people who openly deceive,
Others they have tricked into believing blindly...
They too have been victimized by their own wrongdoings.
