Leaving Them to Wonder

No one could stop them,
From playing into the hands of the demon.
Who fed them with opulence,
And distractions to keep them...
Defending their ignorance.

And when the demon laughed,
And left them with no defense...
They attempted to win back a confidence,
From those they ridiculed...
And publicly offended,
In a contrived innocence!
Hoping these defensive measures,
Would forgive their decadence!

Since they assumed,
That would happen based upon their religions.
In practices that attracted their doom!
They had no room in their hearts for peace.
Opportunities were passed,
To allow greed to increase.

Marked by the beast...
They had not worshipped God at all!
They were taught from pulpits,
Lessons drenched in evil.
And an emphasis on Lucifer's wishes,
Danced upon them...
By fire and brimstone disciples!
To which they devoted to secure...
Rusting treasures kept and endured.
Although their gleam and sparkle fades.
And gone are reasons to parade...
In false charades!

They had sold their souls in worthless rituals!
And knowing that...
After losing the shirts off their backs,
Could not put them back on track.
Since the facts were rejected...
To keep themselves respected,
By reflecting an acceptance
Of those 'things' they hoarded!
In the hope one day...
They would shine in the limelight of fame!
With a status they could claim!
But the hour upon them brings such shame!

Now a quality of life has vanished!
Leaving them to wonder...
Who and what God 'really' is!
As they fight an insight to keep undetected,
A haunting flow of tears that come to flood!

And the trees and the birds,
Are heard singing their praises!
As the thunder roars...
While the Sun beams bright!
And the rain and clouds,
Are removed from faithful faces!
And in every way they could...
The children of God stood and rejoiced!

It's the Season of the Pawning

It's the season of the pawning.
And dusted treasures hoarded...
Are each polished leisurely.

Trinkets silver and gold,
Some trimmed in brass and copper...
Must now be sold.

Unloaded for pocket change.
'Cause these days aren't the same...
As they have been.
It has dawned on those in longing...
Belongings they once flaunted,
Can not remain!
Not with them.

That paycheck once so needed,
Has depleted from their hands...
And sent overseas.
The beast that once had fed them.
Seeks more greed.

It's the season of the pawning.
And dusted treasures hoarded...
Are each polished leisurely.

Trinkets silver and gold,
Some trimmed in brass and copper...
Must now be sold.

And those who laughed and jeered,
At those they denied and criticized...
Are now the ones in fear!
It appears they now feel anguished.
And hidden eyes can't stop their dripping tears.

Hoping to get quick dollars,
Are they who scream and holler...
'This is not fair! '

But as they once lifted noses,
Not one of them supposed...
One day they'd be stripped naked,
Of what had been theirs!

The caring of others...
Has vanished in the air!

It's the season of the pawning.
And dusted treasures hoarded...
Are left behind,
To find many folks like them...
In despair!

No one cares,
What is or is not fair!

It's the season of the pawning.
And those who laughed and jeered...
Now dropp to knees,
To drip from eyes...
Their flowing tears.

That Mask One Wears

It doesn't matter what name is claimed,
Or fame gained by what is done one does.
It doesn't matter what heights sought and reached,
Or lessons taught by the best of teachers...
To seek those dreams upon us to be bestowed.
As each one of us may 'say' we keep pursued,
With a masquerading of recited prayer done to do.
Like one going through motions without insight.
If nothing is there to be felt from the start,
It will show no matter how blemishes are glamorized.

It doesn't matter what religious affiliation maintained.
Or faith said to have that really isn't there sustained.
One thing is for certain lessons learned must be kept.
If a demon is allowed to become attached to one's back...
It doesn't matter who one becomes or where one is at.
Getting rid of that demon takes much more than pretense.
Or charading beliefs one keeps to convince in public acts.
Getting rid of any demon is difficult to detach.
And that mask one wears to cover one's heart to deceive facts,
Does not prevent a demon from its ride.

Things Happen For Their Reasons

Things happen for their reasons.
And there is no need to make excuses,
For the obviousness...
Of those mistakes made.

Things happen for their reasons.
And,
What is there to say...
That can excuse mistakes away.

Stop that need to medicate.
Things happen for their reasons.
Why waste time in prolonged debates.
Thing happen for their reasons.
What is the purpose for seeking escapes.
Things happen for their reasons.
Acceptance eases,
The facing of one's fate.

Things happen for their reasons.
They happen for their reasons.

Stop that need to feed on grief.
Things happen for their reasons.
Why squeeze a healing wound to bleed.
Things happen for their reasons
They happen for their reasons.

And aging doesn't make one safe.
Or offer escapades as a gateway to charade.
Things happen for their reasons.
They happen for their reasons.

Things happen for their reasons.
And there is no need to make excuses,
For the obviousness...
Of those mistakes made.

Even while one ages,
With a life reminisced played on many stages...
Try their best to gracefully accept,
Things happen for their reasons.
And those experienced,
Eventually see this.

Things happen for their reasons.
And in the living of one's life...
A discovery reveals,
Those reasons with insight.

Confined and Limited

As long as the affects
Would damage their ethnic heritage...
They were allowed,
To degrade and disrespect themselves.
In glorious decadence...
An intelligence dismisses.

For marketing and entertainment value.
Connecting temptation and lust...
With pride to maintain their ignorance.
Trusting in a deceptive acceptance!
They praised the spreading of their own craze!

And those that used them would pocket.
No one wished to stop it...
Since these images were worshipped as symbolic.
Like alcoholics on a binge...
They passed along these priorities onto their children.
For fortune and fame!
And certain prison cells to claim.
As if a graduation takes place.

Are these the freedoms their ancestors perceived?
To be flushed down the drain...
By the deceit and misdeeds of their masters!
As lessons learned to disgrace...
A race demoralized with identities defaced.

For all to find themselves...
Eventually,
In a socialistic bliss.
Confined and limited,
By a greed that defeats...
A consciousness diminished.
And depleted as is wished!

Romancing Inequities

Taunting truths,
And those who speak them...
Are the ones sanctioning liberties.

Witnessed is a quality of life fading.
But only few believe,
This plot has been created...
Within their own boundaries!
In their hearts and minds,
They've been fed to fight enemies!

Tools of destruction to create hate is aging.
Stage events begin to dwindle an audience.
One World disciples once in hiding...
Are themselves within their ranks dividing.
And cloaks to fool fall from the backs,
Of those who drool from such tactless acts.

Romancing inequities,
Has enraged jilted lovers.
Those who accepted false engagements,
Wish not to wed their lives to fears.
Suddenly cleared eyes,
Denounce facts of distractions.
Realizing assumptions...
Has bled from them wants,
Wishes and needs!

My little demon, cominon down.
My little demons turnin me around.
All of my friends keep on tellinme
That I just aint the man I used to be.
I really dont like it...aint nothing I can do.
I really dont like it...Im leaving it to you.
My little demon, making me choose.
Making me an offer I cant refuse.
Hard as a rock,dry as a bone...
Big or little, know that I will take you home.
I really dont like it...aint nothini can do.
I really dont like it...Im leaving it to you.
Why try to hide it?
Fight it...fight it!
I really dont like it...aint nothini can do.
I really dont like it...Im leaving it to you.
My little demon is coming after me.
My little demon...
Its all that I can do to keep that little demon...
To keep that little demon...

Many Seek Status

To acknowledge that I 'am'
Who I 'am' and in the 'now'
Of my life!
Is for me a major achievement.
And one I live excuse free.
One based upon truth and honesty!

Many seek status.
Like an apparatus to mask.
Perhaps with hopes,
An acceptance is passed.
Or something that is approved...
As a test or a task.

If a status is proclaimed,
With wishes to keep one connected.
The time will not be long...
Until someone comes along,
To define that status wrong!

And pursued at the expense,
On one's identity...
That is compensated usually,
To eventually dispense.

To acknowledge that I 'am'
Who I 'am' and in the 'now'
Of my life!
Is for me a major achievement.
And one I live excuse free.
With a peace of mind,
I am glad to find...
Based upon truth and honesty!

And anyone who does not see it that way...
It is okay.
I am not going to debate it!

I am not in the pursuit of status!
To attract materialistic dreams.
With shine, sheen or gleam.

As a first time passenger on my journey...
I seek only God to please.
With deeds.
And a gratefulness to do so.

Many seek status!
And perhaps,
For them...
That is what God has assigned.

Churning With Conflicts

There is an ignorance pervading,
Here to convince...
It's part of common sense.
An ignorance marketed and sold on all fronts,
To diminsh the mind with pointless events.

Intelligence offends,
The urban corridors.
Illiteracy is defended by the shallow!
And supported even more,
By those who have closed their doors...
To the poor we all pay for!

There is an acceptance in a decadence...
Defining a quality of life!
There is a blind eye turned on lessons learned.
And a pattern of strife...
Implemented by those with secrets
To keep this depleted way of life,
Churning with conflicts we are forced to fight!

Lampor

I often walk from market to my home
through chinese shop matters which sold; gold
Kelontong variety and rice
Book Store and printings office
And then store through which basic necessities are sold at government-fixed prices, and the barber shop, gambling Boss

Through water wheel to arrange flow of water to the rice field
Flow of water have curves in the river till the South Ocean
Where all kind of fish
Play from morning to night
Among of the evil spirit and demon
In the South Ocean,
The Palace of Nyai Loro Kidul
Quenn of all evil and demon in the South

When night come, “Lampor”
walk with howl of the wind
Children who heard their voice
Were run to their armpit mother
And drunk milk from nipple
Crosed the dark of night and fear
In the warmth of the batik cloth
and mother embrace

To day I am not afraid
Fairy tale, demon or evil spirits
who walk at midnight
to pass in the children imaginations

on the bridge old man and the youngers are gathering
to tell their experience and imagiantions each other
in the evening,
where the water river flow for fish, and demon
flow granted all of fish and their imagination

Facts of Life

It's to be understood.
Not discussed.
To do so will bring upon shame.
A certain digust,
Will lead to finger pointing and blame.

That's why when it is mentioned...
There is a rush to hush it!
There may be claims made,
To defame those proclaiming their righteousness.
And the status of those
Who have established themselves...
As household 'names'.

It is best to leave this gossiped.
Best to play the rumor game.
It is best to whisper this in ears.
To let it simmer first to ignite the heat!
Then pass unnoticed through the streets...
While observing those who did not know,
Engage in a flaming rage...
As their tempers flare and increase!

Leaving are those who chose to maintain their silence...
To live their lives with peace of mind.
And doing that in discreet.
Being uninvolved!
Finding to be concerned a waste of time.
As they have learned.

To keep their peace.
To live among those who react...
Without exploring the facts of life!
As known.
And not assumed to suspect.
Or allow it to be condoned!

This conditioning process observed...
Is left alone.

As they watch those select,
From offerings presented.
And rejecting the rest to go neglected.
Resenting,
Lessons one needs.
But choosing to refuse any test...
To broaden a limited consciousness.
And behind they are left and kept,
To protest in a collective ignorance digested.

Their Own Way of Life

Decadence does not undecandent itself.
Overnight.
Or enlighten those to brush themselves up,
To sparkle gleamy and bright...
As if to Spring clean.
That is not a part of their insight.
Or will ever be detected.

A faltered conspiracy,
Comes to infest...
Those who have digressed,
With an unexpected outcome!

That which has been inflicted...
Sits now on the backs of those who conspired,
To plot and plant their contrived manipulations...
With an affect that diseases their own blood.
Their own way of life.
Their own survival!

And they can not see it...
Because they were raised to bait hate!
And make claims they can no longer pay for now.
Leaving those they had segregated from,
Wishing for them to stay away.
And feed from their own resources.

'They will never be able to survive doing that! '

~They've been told they can do anything they please.
Even ruin themselves on their own propaganda.~

To His Defense

To his defense, I understand the problem that is at hand.
To his defense, I understand the turmoil behind all of this.
To his defense, you'll never live the life he has endured.
To his defense, judge, I object to the inaccuracies you are spewing forth.
Be prepared to kill two birds with one stone.

Anxiety rises about the room.
As the swine feeds on frozen hearts.
A sign of treason ascends in my thoughts.
My conscience was right, the traitor exposed.

To his defense, there must be a reason for all the things he has done.
To his defense, it could easily be a coincidence.
To his defense, look at him now.
He's happier than I'll ever become.
To his defense, theres no defense.
No toleration for betrayal.

Freedom's Star

As I strayed from my cot at the close of the day,
I turned my fond gaze to the sky;
I beheld all the stars as so sweetly they lay,
And but one fixed my heart or my eye.
Shine on, northern star, thou’rt beautiful and bright
To the slave on his journey afar;
For he speeds from his foes in the darkness of night,
Guided on by thy light, freedom’s star.

On thee he depends when he threads the dark woods
Ere the bloodhounds have hunted him back;
Thou leadest him on over mountains and floods,
With thy beams shining full on his track.
Shine on, &c.

Unwelcome to him is the bright orb of day,
As it glides o’er the earth and the sea;
He seeks then to hide like a wild beast of prey,
But with hope, rests his heart upon thee.
Shine on, &c.

May never a cloud overshadow thy face,
While the slave flies before his pursuer;
Gleam steadily on to the end of his race,
Till his body and soul are secure.
Shine on, &c.

The Fight Of Your Life.

Getting ready for the fight of your life. The pressure is on. And you must be dynamite. Shine like never before. An insatiable appetite. No holding back. The thunder from my hands will be felt miles away. This is my last shot. And i shall falter not. Its life or death. Its without mercy. No pity for those who cant do for themselves. Revel in it. Its arrogance or confidence. Take your pick. I'm a royal prick. I'm a *ssh*le and a d*ck. But I'm living. Their comes a time when you must put the past behind. Three steps forward, two steps back. Always under attack. Well come I'm ready for the fight of my life. What ever it takes. Make or break. My will is strong. I know where i belong. Protecting them is over. I shouldered those burdens for way to long. Take a picture, savor this moment. For I'm ready for the fight of my life. Trying to predict the ending. Futile efforts. Betting on sh*t deals. Destroying what isn't real. It was never their. So now most despair and are not prepared. But I'm aware of what has to be done. Its not gonna all be fun. But im still ready for the fight of my life. Live and let live. So hard to forgive. Breaking so many ethical boundaries, all at once. Renouncing all claims. I want no parts of it. Your loss. Your cost. Substituting one bad habit for another. It wont happen again. No more friends cause I'm getting ready for the fight of my life. It will be the fight of my life and i must do it alone.

Darkness

Greed
Causing innocent blood to flow
Entire culture lost in the overthrow
They came to see, take whatever they please
Then all they gave back was death and disease
People were left with no choice but to decide
To conform to a system responsible for genocide
Responsible for genocide, responsible for genocide
Aids is killing the entire african nation
And a vaccine is still supposedly under preparation
But these governments, they dont mind the procrastination.
They say well kill them off, take their land and go there for vacation
My peoples culture was strong and was pure
And if not for that white greed, it would have endured
My people were left with no choice but to decide
To conform to a system
Their minds did slay
Their souls they cage
You feel the rage
This brutality can never be undone
But the sun has not yet set
The bass and drums and microphone a threat
Thats when youve got to get the cry from the inside
And see that theyre responsible for genocide
Responsible for genocide, responsible for genocide
You jam your culture down my throat
Say Im inferior when apon it I choke
You fill my mind with a false sense of history
And then you wonder why I have no identity
Well strike a match and itll catch
And spread the insight we need
A tiny fire burning bright
Shedding light on the darkness of greed
A yes yes yall and you dont stop
Shedding light on the darkness of greed
A yes yes yall and you dont stop
Shedding light on the darkness of greed

Promoting Decadence As One's Defense

Is there such a thing as,
Justifiable ignorance?
Is there such a thing as,
Promoting decadence...
As one's defense.

Today those who have poise and grace,
Are as out of place...
As an alien from space.

Those who speak with confidence and truth,
Are quickly rumored to be...
Fools let loose.

Is there such a thing as,
Justifiable ignorance?
Is there such a thing as,
Promoting decadence...
As one's defense.

Listen to those on talk radio,
Saying things over the airwaves...
The FCC approves as okay.
But an exposed breast,
Unexpectedly addressed...
Upsets those to become enraged,
Although much worse than that...
Is displayed on TV 24 hours 'everyday'.

Is there such a thing as,
Justifiable ignorance?
Is there such a thing as,
Promoting decadence...
As one's defense.

Is there such a thing as,
As those who are crazed...
Being praised today?
And those desiring,
Better lives for themselves...
Being criminalized,
As if 'they' were the ones...
Who have come to terrorize our lives.

Rain drops fall from heaven

Tears swelling up in my eyes every night
Rain drops fall from heaven
Simply a walking disguise in the light
Rain drops fall from heaven

Wondering when i will be alright
Rain drops fall from heaven
Growing so weak no energy to fight
Rain drops fall from heaven

Losing all hope in my mind
Rain drops fall from heaven
Wishing that i could simply unwind
Rain drops fall from heaven

As time goes love makes me blind
Rain drops fall from heaven
Wishing i didn't have to leave her behind
Rain drops fall from heaven

Wanting to make everything right
Rain drops fall from heaven
Wishing i could see her in sight
Rain drops fall from heaven

Wishing I had the strength to fight
Rain drops fall from heaven
Wishing i could hold her tight
Rain drops fall from heaven

Never knowing if she remembers me
Rain drops fall from heaven
Never know if we were meant to be
Rain drops fall from heaven

Wishing i had more time to see
Rain drops fall from heaven
My family that always loved me
Rain drops fall from heaven

Thinking back to the times we had
Rain drops fall from heaven
Smiles and laughter but yet so sad
Rain drops fall from heaven

Just sitting here all alone
Rain drops fall from heaven
Wishing i was way back home
Rain drops fall from heaven

Now the only thing that is on my mind
Rain drops fall from heaven
Is the memories i have way back in time
Rain drops fall from heaven

The tears from my eyes and deep inside
Rain drops fall from heaven
Matches the drops that come from the sky
Rain drops fall from heaven

If you could even begin to wonder why
Rain drops fall from heaven
It is simply those tears from lies
Rain drops fall from heaven

Every time it rains i stare to the clouds
Rain drops fall from heaven
Hoping one day she will simply fall
Rain drops fall from heaven

Right into my arms where she belongs
Rain drops fall from heaven
So that i can sing her a song
Rain drops fall from heaven

A song that tells her how i feel
Rain drops fall from heaven
A song that is nothing but real
Rain drops fall from heaven

That will be the day that will bring me joy
Rain drops fall from heaven
Too bad it wont happen to this boy
Rain drops fall from my eyes 24/7

Delusions Of Grandeur

You don't care about nothing
So you don't care about love
If you want me to come back
You'd better change
You'd better give up talking about money
Begin thinking of love
If you want me to come back
You'd better change
You'd better change for the better
It cost more than dollars and cents
Take it from me there's - got to be
An end to this decadence
This decadence
You don't care about people
So you don't care about pain
If you want me to come back
You'd better change
You'd better change for the better
Start using some common sense
Take it from me there's - got to be
An end to this decadence
For decadence - is fatal
It's the beginning of the end
In self-defense
I cannot recommend
This decadence
You don't care about real life
You're too distant and strange
If you want me to come back
You'd better change for the better
It may be rather intense
Stop this caprice, you've got to cease
This fin-de-siecle pretence
For decadence - is fatal
It's the beginning of the end
In consequence
I cannot recommend
This decadence
This decadence
This decadence
This decadence

Portrait / Pinnacle

He had a thousand ideas
You might have heard his name
He lived alone with his vision
Not looking for fortune or fame
Never said too much to speak of
He was off on another plane
The words that he said were a mystery
Nobody's sure he was sane
But he knew, he knew more than me or you
No one could see his view
Oh, where was he going to
He was in search of an answer
The nature of what we are
He was trying to do it a new way
He was bright as a star
But nobody understood him
His numbers are not the way
He's lost in the deepest enigma
Which no one's unravelled today
But he knew, he knew more than me or you
No one could see his view
Oh, where was he going to
And he tried
But before he could tell us he died
When he left us the people cried
Oh, where was he going to?
He had a different idea
A glimpse of the master plan
He could see into the future
A true visionary man
But there's something he never told us
It died when he went away
If only he could have been with us
No telling what he might say
But he knew, he knew more than me or you
No one could see his view
Oh, where was he going to
But he knew
You could tell by the picture he drew
It was totally something new
Oh, where was he going to
I've so much to say, and yet I cannot speak
Come and do my bidding now for I have grown too weak
My weary eyes have seen all that life can give
Come to me, O young one, for you I can forgive
I stood where no man goes, and conquered demon foes
With glory and passion no longer in fashion
The hero breaks his blade
Cast this shadow long that I may hide my face
And in this cloak of darkness the world I will embrace
In all that I endure, of one thing I am sure
Knowledge and reason change like the season
A jester's promenade
Lying at my feet I see the offering you bring
The mark of Cain is on our faces, borne of suffering
O, I long to hear you say it's not been wrong
I stand before you now, a riddle in my song
The answer is that sweet refrain
Unheard it always will remain
Beyond our reach, beyond our gain
Trapped in life's parade, a king without a crown
In this joy of madness, my smile might seem a frown
With talons wrought of steel, I tore the heart of doom
And in one gleaming moment I saw beyond the tomb
I stood where no man goes, above the din I rose
Life is amusing though we are losing
Drowned in tears of awe.
