It's the Season of the Pawning
It's the season of the pawning.
And dusted treasures hoarded...
Are each polished leisurely.
Trinkets silver and gold,
Some trimmed in brass and copper...
Must now be sold.
Unloaded for pocket change.
'Cause these days aren't the same...
As they have been.
It has dawned on those in longing...
Belongings they once flaunted,
Can not remain!
Not with them.
That paycheck once so needed,
Has depleted from their hands...
And sent overseas.
The beast that once had fed them.
Seeks more greed.
It's the season of the pawning.
And dusted treasures hoarded...
Are each polished leisurely.
Trinkets silver and gold,
Some trimmed in brass and copper...
Must now be sold.
And those who laughed and jeered,
At those they denied and criticized...
Are now the ones in fear!
It appears they now feel anguished.
And hidden eyes can't stop their dripping tears.
Hoping to get quick dollars,
Are they who scream and holler...
'This is not fair! '
But as they once lifted noses,
Not one of them supposed...
One day they'd be stripped naked,
Of what had been theirs!
The caring of others...
Has vanished in the air!
It's the season of the pawning.
And dusted treasures hoarded...
Are left behind,
To find many folks like them...
In despair!
No one cares,
What is or is not fair!
It's the season of the pawning.
And those who laughed and jeered...
Now dropp to knees,
To drip from eyes...
Their flowing tears.

Self-rewarding Pat On the Backs
A fading influence,
Is protected from ruin.
And from the eyes of those,
That have been overdosed...
With,
Excited.
Invited.
Self-rewarding,
Pat on the backs.
A fading influence,
Is protected from ruin.
And from the eyes of those,
That have been overdosed...
With,
Excited.
Invited.
Self-rewarding,
Pat on the backs.
And sit relaxed...
Like,
Fat cats!
Shoveled away,
Is the scent of manure.
People who endured it,
Reached and sought for better days.
Some folks who stayed,
Pray on wounded knees.
Hoping that the sky will open,
To release,
Gold trimmed silver trinkets as they please.
And some sneeze from the gold dust rubbed.
With,
Excited.
Invited.
Self-rewarding,
Pat on the backs.

Fields Of Gold
There are fields of Gold behind the little house
Filled with the greatest of treasures
Bronze, Gold and Silver
Do you remember?
Remember our childhood, Our life’s
The shinning Silver sparkling in the skies
The brightest Bronze hidden under the ground
The greatest Gold glimmering through the fields
Can you see them?
Picture it in your mind
All the times we danced
Every time we laughed
Where we used to love
Or have you forgotten?
Forgotten the good, Forgotten the bad
Every memory
Every moment
Every word
I wish you’d remember
To turn back time, So you could take me
Take me to the gold
To the fields on a summers day
To our fields, our treasure
The Silver, The Bronze
The Gold
But the treasures gone
The house still remains
The fields just as empty as the day we left
Times have changed
Our life’s have changed
Our Silver gone dull
Our Bronze all rusted
Our Gold long forgotten
It was never there
The winds of time and turns of the earth have seen to that
But I remember
I cry for the children who found the greatest of treasures and those who lost it so soon after
And I dream of dancing and singing and running and laughter, of the treasures that lie in the fields of Gold.

Out Of Season
I found out just a little too late.
I had my doubt, but I decided to wait.
Even though I could feel somethin comin
It came as such a surprise.
I should have known when you first started
Runnin away before my eyes.
Im so out of season
You left me cold and Im standin here freezin.
Im so out of season now.
I lost out.
I wasnt playing to win.
And I think about
How I just took it all in.
Just when I thought
I couldnt get any higher
You cut me down to size.
I should have noticed
When you put out the fire.
Instead, I just closed my eyes.
Im so out of season.
You left me cold and Im standin here freezin.
Im so out of season now.
Im so out of season
You let me go and you gave me no reason.
Im so out of season now.

Cherry Blossoms Fall Eventually
Angel songs
And whispers echo
Riding the night
Silver waves
White roses
Painted red
Tears shed
Years forgotten
Sun-kissed souls
Droplets gathered by clouds
Hidden trinkets
Shrouded treasures
Hands turning backwards
Left behind
Cherry blossoms
Fall eventually

Leaving Them to Wonder
No one could stop them,
From playing into the hands of the demon.
Who fed them with opulence,
And distractions to keep them...
Defending their ignorance.
And when the demon laughed,
And left them with no defense...
They attempted to win back a confidence,
From those they ridiculed...
And publicly offended,
In a contrived innocence!
Hoping these defensive measures,
Would forgive their decadence!
Since they assumed,
That would happen based upon their religions.
In practices that attracted their doom!
They had no room in their hearts for peace.
Opportunities were passed,
To allow greed to increase.
Marked by the beast...
They had not worshipped God at all!
They were taught from pulpits,
Lessons drenched in evil.
And an emphasis on Lucifer's wishes,
Danced upon them...
By fire and brimstone disciples!
To which they devoted to secure...
Rusting treasures kept and endured.
Although their gleam and sparkle fades.
And gone are reasons to parade...
In false charades!
They had sold their souls in worthless rituals!
And knowing that...
After losing the shirts off their backs,
Could not put them back on track.
Since the facts were rejected...
To keep themselves respected,
By reflecting an acceptance
Of those 'things' they hoarded!
In the hope one day...
They would shine in the limelight of fame!
With a status they could claim!
But the hour upon them brings such shame!
Now a quality of life has vanished!
Leaving them to wonder...
Who and what God 'really' is!
As they fight an insight to keep undetected,
A haunting flow of tears that come to flood!
And the trees and the birds,
Are heard singing their praises!
As the thunder roars...
While the Sun beams bright!
And the rain and clouds,
Are removed from faithful faces!
And in every way they could...
The children of God stood and rejoiced!

Silence!
Silence!
That is all that is left,
You now can offer.
Silence!
When your lips were needed,
To stop the heat of greed that fed...
You denounced a noncomformity,
As something those doing it would dred!
And here you are,
Being closed in...
By those who deceived 'you' instead!
Silence!
That's all that is required from you right now!
You have proven,
Like sheep...
Misfortunes thought were mine,
You believed you would never reap.
Has been designed to keep you mislead!
Now a sacrifice shared is weeped.
No one cares...
Tears from your eyes now you shed!
Silence!
Keep it...
As a sacrifice!
That is all you have left...
Tossing and turning your life,
Into a premature death.
With a shortened gasp of breath!
And with deception kept...
Your treasures hoarded,
Will quietly from you be swept,
Away!
As a silence bleeds...
From those who willfully allowed,
Themselves to be bled!
Self-righteous in rejecting those...
As you watched their hunger,
And homelessness spread!
Silence!
It's your turn...
To find no place to lay your head!
Silence!
Isn't that what you expected...
From those you said,
Were too low of life!
And denied them you did...
Of a fight to keep,
Their human rights!
Silence!
That's all that is needed from you.
No one cares what your objectives are.
You have already expressed...
Your selfish point of view!
And silence from others,
Comes to light!
As your plight is witnessed...
And subdues you to drown,
In standards that leave you...
Sinking underground!
Silence!
Is that clear?
That is all those who have survived,
Your sick conflicting inflicted nonsense...
Have chosen to dispel.
And from you...
Silence is all,
One wishes from you to hear!
With a peace released that swells!
No one but you,
Appreciates your created hell!

Silver And Gold
Silver, silver and gold
Silver and gold, silver and gold
Ev'ryone wishes for silver and gold
How do you measure its worth?
Just by the pleasure it gives here on earth.
Silver and gold, silver and gold
Mean so much more when I see
Silver and gold decorations
On ev'ry Christmas tree.
Silver, silver and gold
Silver, silver and gold
Silver and gold
Silver and gold
Silver and gold
Wise men brought gifts to the mange I'm told
Mary was humble to see
Shepherds and kings there on bended knees
It's silver and gold, silver and gold
Feeling the world with their lives
Silver and gold how they shimmer on ev'ry Christmas night
On ev'ry Christmas night
Silver, silver and gold

Welcome Autumn
Now, early sunset and late sunrise,
days have trimmed short their size.
Schools, universities open after break,
maple's gold leaves go autumn break.
Valley dressed in flowers, coloured brisk,
wait next summer for recreation trips.
By sun falling, stars weep, shed tears,
cascading smoky damp, wets the air.
Birds flocking, planning to disappear;
to find warm nestle before winter nears.
Hello! season of harvest and abundance,
Confer to land, lot fruits and food grains.
Goodbye heat! Welcome season of festivity!
Love to peek the beauty of changeability.

The Sms Piles of Sorrow
sms sms piles
all for attention
while I, who noticed
you try to think
it all revolves around coin
the jingle, gold, silver and copper
each has different weights
including that which ye
gold, silver or copper
dying souls
attached to the wishes
world, the cause of suffering
you try to think
why every weekend
they went to the mountains,
the lonely places
they want to let go of the pain of it
However, in the wrong way
not wrong, if tears
a sorrow flowers

Like The Jackfruit
like the jackfruit you wait for the season
when you become ripe
and when it comes you exude the scent
of the sweet one
and then you are removed from your stalk
and then they tap with their hands your body
and smell you with their noses
kissing you and hugging you and then
they cut you to slices and then they eat every chunk of you
meanwhile some saps flow from the stalk where you were taken
they fall dropp by drop
they do not stop until the night is over
each dropp is a poem coming from your hands
on that ripe season, your own time.

Irresistible
Seasons come, seasons go
But each season leaves a distinction
For which it is remembered
So once a season came
With a green environment
Rosy plants all around
And I enjoyed the period
Went to the orchard
And picked a flower
That I stayed with long after the season had vanished
But this same flower I had picked
Went with the season
I did not know I could not stay with it
Without its season
Despite all that
There is a wonderful flower I have seen
Which does not vary with seasons
But stays amidst all circumstances and seasons
It has a goon\d name
That every time I mention it
I find myself hungry
Dear sister
Pick the flower too
The all season flower of salvation!

The Season Of Spring
THE SEASON OF SPRING
the season of spring
weather seems to sing
lovely lovely days
are coming our ways
the season of spring
blooming blossoming
of nature of all kind
let roots unbind
the season of spring
birds unfold their wings
diving high into sky
wish one could fly
the season of spring
careful hearts love sting
reaching out towards others
some persons might bother
the season of spring
nice sound bells ring
new wave new style
faces have on a smile
the season of spring
an new awakening
busy humanity on earth
as if it’s a new birth
listen listen to my words
the season of spring is near
now a look into your lovely eyes
and one can see spring is already here

The Growing Season
The seasons work together
To make the world possible
Summer, the sun season
Fall, the leaf season
Winter, the snow season
And spring, the time of beauty
Summer, the yellow season
Fall, the orange season
Winter, the white season
And spring, the time of the rainbow
Summer, the blank season
Fall, the shadow season
Winter, the dying season
And spring, the growing season
The growing season

From Menander
Fond youth! who dream'st that hoarded gold
Is needful not alone to pay
For all thy various items sold,
To serve the wants of every day;
Bread, vinegar, and oil, and meat,
For savory viands season'd high;
But somewhat more important yet--
I tell thee what it cannot buy.
No treasure hadst thou more amass'd
Than fame to Tantalus assign'd,
Would save thee from a tomb at last,
But thou must leave it all behind.
I give thee, therefore, counsel wise;
Confide not vainly in thy store,
However large -- much less despise
Others comparatively poor;
But in thy more exalted state
A just and equal temper show
That all who see thee rich and great,
May deem thee worthy to be so.

Shoestring
Everybody's pawning all their bling things.
Trying to live today on just a shoestring.
Giving in ain't easy for one thinking...
How will they survive,
Without the zing of bling things!
ooo woo...
ooopah ooopah ooopah,
ooo woo...

ooo woo...
ooopah pah ooo
ooo woo...
ooopah ooopah ooopah,

ooopah pah ooopah,
ooo woo...

ooo woo...
ooopah pah ooo
Droppin' hip hop poppin'
To stop coppin'...
From lockin' boppin'
So rock mop and toppin'.
They woke up soak and wet,
And feelin' threatin'.
'Cause' all the bling
They stung up...
Stopped affectin'!
ooo woo...
ooopah ooopah ooopah,
ooo woo...
ooopah pah ooopah,
ooo woo...
ooopah ooopah ooopah,
ooo woo...
ooopah pah ooo

Solid Mold
First classed and luxuried out,
Of credit card touch...
Writers of bounced checks,
Left perplexed but not stopped much.
Pawning bracelets and watches
Diamonds and gold,
To keep appearances a little less glittered
Hiding shelves reflecting solid mold!
To please...
Or pleasure?
No one dares to tell this story untold!
When pretense is the measure
With these surburbanites growing hungry...
Penniless and cold!

I'm A Fan
It’s football season again
I hope my team does well this year
Football season again
I’m a fan
It’s football season again
Spread that ball across the field
Football season again
I’m a fan
Through the cold and the rain
I’ll be there at the game
A voice screaming to be heard
I’ll cry sometimes, sometimes I’ll smile
As my voice echoes through the crowd
I’m a fan, I’m a fan, I’m a fan
It’s football season again
I hope my team does well this year
Football season again
I’m a fan
It’s football season again
Tackle hard and play it fair
Football season again
I’m a fan
And at the end of the year
We’ll be dressed in the gear
As they turn to salute the crowd
And we’ll stand with pride
‘Cause they’re our side
And we’ll sing their praises loud
We’re the fans, We’re the fans, We’re the fans

Change Of Season
Oh, I need a change of season
Oh, I want a little springtime in the fall
Oh, I could use a change of season
Cant stop thinkin about it baby
And Im sick about it yeah
Oh, Ive been trying to fight this feeling
I know just one little brick
Can break the wall
Oh I might find a change of season
Will bring a freeze in the summer, baby
Seasons change, people change
But you cant hold back the clock
Cause time wont stop for you and me
And the world keeps spinning round
Feels like time for a change of season
Its a crime that I should feel this way at all
I cant even find a reason
What do you think about it baby
What you think about it, yeah
Seasons change, people change
You cant turn back the clock
No, time wont stop for you and me
The world keeps spinning round

Another Football Season Ending
Another football season coming to an end
not even the play offs to look forward to
still that's becoming the norm
when you support my team in Sky Blue.
But my loyalty is always going to be there
and I'm proud to be a Coventry City fan
turning up to all of the home games
and as many away matches as I can.
We'll all be miserable throughout the summer
with no interest in Cricket or Wimbledon
too busy thinking about next season
than lying on a beach in the sun.
But I'll put myself through it all again
as I have done for so many years
hoping that next season is going to be great
but knowing it'll probably end up in tears!
