Kumquat Trees, Blueberries And Why Bees Buzz?

For those that can not tell the difference between,
The kumquat trees and the blueberries.
Or the lettuce from tomatoes...
And must ask why bees buzz?
Know this...
You will never come to understand,
Why some people prefer to walk away...
Than to answer another question,
You may have about life that will not connect!

There are a few 'more' steps,
That are needed for you to take...
Away from your comfort zone!
And do not wait for assistance to do this.
Do this on your own...
Alone!

Milan Kundera

The stupidity of people comes from having an answer to everything. The wisdom of the novel comes from having a question for everything... it seems to me that all over the world people nowadays prefer to judge rather than to understand, to answer rather than to ask, so that the voice of the novel can hardly be heard over the noisy foolishness of human certainties.

The Comfort Zone

Where do we go
When theres a need to be loved
Like you need to be loved
Oh, Ill let you know
Just what to do and where to go
Hey welcome to the comfort zone
When you need to be loved like you need to be loved
Welcome to the comfort zone
Do whatever feels right and turns you on
After a hard days work
Theres one thing to be certain of
This ol familiar love
Its not unusual to find that its sensual
Its all you need to let go
Theres no need to try
Or compromise
Or settle for another outside of my love
The thing to do
When you get through
Heed the message seek the comfort of my zone
Hey welcome to the comfort zone
When you need to be loved like you need to be loved
Welcome to the comfort zone
Do whatever feels right and turns you on
Hey let me make you comfortable
Let me take control
And give your mind a break from the day you made
Lets turn the lights down low
And oh the rest you know
Ill be here for you
cause you just stepped into the comfort zone

When you plant lettuce, if it does not grow well, you don't blame the lettuce. You look for reasons it is not doing well. It may need fertilizer, or more water, or less sun. You never blame the lettuce. Yet if we have problems with our friends or our family, we blame the other person. But if we know how to take care of them, they will grow well, like the lettuce. Blaming has no positive effect at all, nor does trying to persuade using reason and argument. That is my experience. If you understand, and you show that you understand, you can love, and the situation will change.

If I Should Fall Behind

We said wed walk together baby come what may
That come the twilight should we lose our way
If as were walkin a hand should slip free
Ill wait for you
And should I fall behind
Wait for me
We swore wed travel darlin side by side
Wed help each other stay in stride
But each lovers steps fall so differently
But Ill wait for you
And if I should fall behind
Wait for me
Now everyone dreams of a love lasting and true
But you and I know what this world can do
So lets make our steps clear that the other may see
And Ill wait for you
If I should fall behind
Wait for me
Now theres a beautiful river in the valley ahead
There neath the oaks bough soon we will be wed
Should we lose each other in the shadow of the evening trees
Ill wait for you
And should I fall behind
Wait for me
Darlin Ill wait for you
Should I fall behind
Wait for me

Believe In Trees

Belonging from, nowhere to somewhere, never in or to - Company of the twisted tongue, spend with snakes i prefer to your screaming tongue, the one which ash flames to a fires back - Invented by noone, excuses of the everyone, that blame is for your face the shame - Hands on my knees, the singing of the bees, the buzz rings true to the lost of my hive, rather i choose to be free, truthfull, as to live my lies of life and not to be me - i saw the trees, i see without leaves, i believe without a bark, dogs to grief

The Bee-Boy's Song

Bees! Bees! Hark to your bees!
"Hide from your neigbours as much as you please,
But all that has happened, to us you must tell,
Or else we will give you no honey to sell!"

A maiden in her glory,
Upon her wedding - day,
Must tell her Bees the story,
Or else they'll fly away.
Fly away -- die away --
Dwindle down and leave you!
But if you don't deceive your Bees,
Your Bees will not deceive you.

Marriage, birth or buryin',
News across the seas,
All you're sad or merry in,
You must tell the Bees.
Tell 'em coming in an' out,
Where the Fanners fan,
'Cause the Bees are just about
As curious as a man!

Don't you wait where the trees are,
When the lightnings play,
Nor don't you hate where Bees are,
Or else they'll pine away.
Pine away -- dwine away --
Anything to leave you!
But if you never grieve your Bees,
Your Bees'll never grieve you.

Arrival

I wait for the humming bird to hum.
I wait for the bees to buzz.
I wait for the doves to bill and coo.
I wait for how it was
When springtime memory
Made its presence known
And I wait for winter's melancholy
to which I find I'm prone
to finally leave me alone.

I wait for springtime showers to appear.
I wait for a perfect rainbow.
I wait for the smell of blossoms.
I wait for them to grow
When every springtime memory
comes alive again.
And I wait for winter's darkness
which I pray for to descend
so I can let my yearning end.

Love Is The Way

Deep in the heart of the infinite darkness
A tiny blue marble is spinning through space
Born in the splendor of gods holy vision
And sliding away like a tear down his face
Closer you see the whole wide holy wonder
Of oceans and mountains and rivers and trees
And the strangest creation of many, the human
A creature of laughter and freedom and dreams
Now the warriors are waving their old rusty sabres
The preachers are preaching the gospel of hate
By their behaviour determined to teach us
A lesson were soon to be learning to late.
Look closer my brother, were killing each other
And wed better stop and get started today
Because life is the question and life is the answer
And God is the reason and love is the way.
Because life is the question and life is the answer
And God is the reason and love is the way.
Because life is the question and life is the answer
And God is the reason and love is the way.
Yes, life is the question and life is the answer
And God is the reason and love is the way.

A Salad to Eat

Different hues...
Some not as bright but invites,
Those who come to eat eagerly
With an assorted presentation
That might satisfy an appetite.

With tomatoes and carrots,
Sliced apples and grapes...
Romaine lettuce sprinkled with chives
Topped with olive oil and vinegar,
Is a treat to see on a plate to delight...
And surprise.

Onions and green peppers,
Can please the eye with sensation.
When someone announces...
'I prefer a salad to eat! '
And they do without a moment's hesitation!

Daisies

In the democracy of daisies
every blossom has one vote.
The question on the ballot is
Does he love me?

If the answer's wrong I try another,
a little sorry about the petals
piling up around my shoes.

Bees are loose in the fields
where daisies wait and hope,
dreaming of the kiss of a proboscis.
We can't possibly understand

what makes us such fools.
I blame the June heat
and everything about him.

Where Do I Go From Here?

When you finish with something or someone
the question you ask yourself
is where do I go from here.
To some there is no easy answer,
others have a route already planned,
while others say I’ll wait until something happens
and then I’ll move along.
No matter whom you are
the question still remains whenever something ends,
where do I go from here.
There is never an easy answer
it remains up to you.
Life keeps going forward at a steady pace
and you have to make your own mind up
which way you want to go
when that question suddenly appears.
Where do I go from here?

The Independent Bee

A hive of bees, as I've heard say,
Said to their Queen one sultry day,
"Please your Majesty's high position,
The hive is full and the weather is warm,
We rather think, with a due submission,
The time has come when we ought to swarm."
Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz.
Up spake their Queen and thus spake she -
"This is a matter that rests with me,
Who dares opinions thus to form?
I'LL tell you when it is time to swarm!"
Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz.

Her Majesty wore an angry frown,
In fact, her Majesty's foot was down -
Her Majesty sulked - declined to sup -
In short, her Majesty's back was up.
Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz.
Her foot was down and her back was up!

That hive contained one obstinate bee
(His name was Peter), and thus spake he -
"Though every bee has shown white feather,
To bow to tyranny I'm not prone -
Why should a hive swarm all together?
Surely a bee can swarm alone?"
Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz.
Upside down and inside out,
Backwards, forwards, round about,
Twirling here and twisting there,
Topsy turvily everywhere -
Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz.
Pitiful sight it was to see
Respectable elderly high-class bee,
Who kicked the beam at sixteen stone,
Trying his best to swarm alone!
Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz.
Trying his best to swarm alone!

The hive were shocked to see their chum
(A strict teetotaller) teetotum -
The Queen exclaimed, "How terrible, very!
It's perfectly clear to all the throng
Peter's been at the old brown sherry.
Old brown sherry is much too strong -
Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz.
Of all who thus themselves degrade,
A stern example must be made,
To Coventry go, you tipsy bee!"
So off to Coventry town went he.
Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz.
There, classed with all who misbehave,
Both plausible rogue and noisome knave,
In dismal dumps he lived to own
The folly of trying to swarm alone!
Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz.
All came of trying to swarm alone.

At The Middle Of Things...

living in the comfort zone
is easy,
nothing much
nothing less too
i am neither at
the top
neither am i at
the bottom
i am what is
sandwiched
the ham and the
lettuce
and the tomato
and the cheese

buffered i am
protected
the gods find me
delicious

i look forward
to begin consumed
and be simply
gone

there is nothing
good in here
it is flat and
boring
between...

Meaning Of Life

What is the meaning of life
Is it to be born and then to die
To that question once again I have thought
As once again for that answer I have sought.
Just to understand just why we are here
Is it to bring joy and hopefully not a tear
to live strong each and every day
And then every night to kneel and pray.
Is it to see how far that we can go
Or how much knowledge we can place in our soul
Is it to marry and then take a husband or a wife
Or is it just simply to help others with their strife.
As I look out my window and as I do think
Life can either end or begin with just a wink
We are here and then we can be gone
And after all in the end we are all but just one.
Is it just an accident that we are born
Was it an accident that our world was formed
Are there a reason that we are here to stand
Truly I wish to that question I could just understand.
To understand our life and our being
Many have said that research is never ending
As there is no true answer just why we are here
And if there was would our hope and wonder disappear.
As I think to myself could life itself be just a test
To see how far we make it in life's quest.
Where our soul and conscience is the preacher
And then GOD himself is our Teacher.

I Need A Buzz

I'm cracking up but now I'm filling in the gaps with glue
With every minute every hour there's a different view
It's not that I'm unhappy al the time but I feel used
I feel it closing in the rocketman has lit his fuse
Oh yeah, buzz!
Oh yeah, oh yeah
The clock is ticking in the kitchen as I walk away
The tap is dripping, I keep twitching as I concentrate
There's people passing, old men gasping as they climb the way
There's children smoking, drivers cursing as they go insane
Oh yeah, buzz!
Oh yeah, oh yeah
Just feel I'm choking won't you give me what I want for my disease?
I feel I'm drowning going under as I lose again
And again, and again, and again...
I need a buzz, I need a buzz, I need a buzz...

My Question for M lady Fay

There is a question I must pose
In the vain hope that someone knows
Who’s willing to enlighten me.

Before my birth where would I be
This question always puzzles me
and when I die where do I go.

I have asked priests who hesitate
to answer me, they vacillate.
Because in truth they do not know.

They quote their Holy Book to me
But I have looked and cannot see.
The answer that I seek to find.

Why is it that they pretend to know
from whence I came and where I go.
And yet they will not answer me.

My question is a simple one
I make it clear to everyone.
But no one seems to understand.

The truth is what I seek to know
From whence I came where do I go.
Will somebody please answer me.

Walk Away

Youve got your mother and your brother
Every other undercover telling you what to say
You think Im stupid but the truth is that its cupid baby loving you has made me this way
So before you point your finger
Get your hand off of my trigger
You need to know the situations getting old
And now the more you talk the less I can take
Im looking for attention
Not another question
Should you stay or should you go
Well if you dont have the answer
Why you still standing here
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Just walk away
I waited here for you like a kid waiting after school
So tell me, how come you never showed
I gave you everything and never asked for anything
And look at me, Im all alone
So before you start defending baby
Stop all your pretending
I know you know I know so whats the point of being slow
Lets get this show on the road today
Im looking for attention
Not another question
Should you stay or should you go
Well if you dont have the answer
Why you still standing here
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Just walk away
I want a love
I want a fire
To feel the burn, my desires
I want a man by my side
Not a boy who runs and hides
Are you gonna fight for me, die for me
Live and breathe for me
Do you care for me
Cause if you dont then just leave
Im looking for attention
Not another question
Should you stay or should you go
Well if you dont have the answer
Why you still standing here
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Just walk away
Well if you dont have the answer
Why you still standing here
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Just walk away
walk away
walk away

We All Are Victims

To confront anyone,
Who has lived their entire life...
Based upon delusions fed with lies,
Is like trying to convince...
Someone who has lived as a hermit,
That they have just been selected...
To receive an award for being the most congenial,
By those who have found their social attributes...
To be undeniably refreshing.

And somehow this embellished exaggeration,
Is not considered a joke as much as it is a threat.
It then becomes best,
To leave one alone in their own comfort zone.
Since few people will accept,
A reality that does not connect...
To what they know or has not to them been shown.
Without an experience of it being known.
We all are victims of some enforced limitation.

In Honor Of Black History Month

...and, this year we are so excited,
In honor of Black History Month...
To provide a ten thousand dollar scholarship,
To anyone who can answer the following question.
And...
If you all notice,
You have been given the answer as is shown...
Amongst the choices from which to choose.
Either A, B or C.

Good luck!
Here is your question...

How many fingers are on the left hand?
You have five seconds to respond.
Place your one thumb on the buzzer.
And hold with your remaining four fingers,
On your left hand.

YES!
You are the first to respond.
Your answer is...?

'Hold up!
And don't be winking at me.
I ain't into that!
Supposing that left hand was held by someone else...
Guiding with valued assistance to choose the right path? '

That has nothing to do with the question asked.
NOR is that one of the answers already given.
One of them is correct.
The others are not.

'Look...
I need that ten thousand dollars.
And stop winking at me...
Pervert.'

Do you or do you not have the correct answer?

'Do you or do you not get on my last nerve? '

THIS is a contest.

'And THIS is my fist.
Do you mind repeating the question?
And don't look at me as if I'm the one stupid.'
