If You Feel You Are Important
We are no more important,
Than the importance to us given.
If that is the reason,
You are basing your self worth.
And those opinions of others,
You and others may overrate as valued.
However,
If you feel you are important.
And this is the significance of your identity,
Why should you care what impression you make,
On those not paying you any attention.
Why is it a concern an attention to you be given?
If,
You feel you are important.
This is not a reflection of someone's ego.
This is acceptance with acknowledgement.
Who one 'is' is a gift of known identity.
And not an imitation of an interpretation.

To be important, …
Importance is not goodness.
It is a quality entailing
Attention or recognition.
It’s important to respect;
It’s important to serve;
It’s important not to hurt.
Anyone who is not important
By breed, wealth or rank
Can become important thus.

How Did You Get Past The Guards
Whatever you deem,
At the time...
Is important,
To you.
Let whatever it is at that time,
Be important.
That's the same way I feel about my time,
You take for granted...
Whenever you feel okay,
To dropp by unexpectedly...
To make your time,
The time I am not feeling.
Whatever you deem,
At the time...
Is important,
To you.
Let whatever it is at that time,
Be important.
But do not think for one moment,
My time...
Is not important to me.
And not a second of it do I plan to share!
Or...
Will be convinced that I should.
You are on the East side of this rainbow.
How did you get past the guards?
I keep telling them,
No visitors.
You...
Must have been annoying them for too long!

I think the number one thing that I find important is the importance of honesty with your friends and your parents, if you can be. But I think that telling people how you really feel, being who you truly are, being safe and taking care of yourself is the most important thing.

Importance
The gift of nature and the gift of love,
With chocolates from my lover and chocolates for you;
For you've already began to explore the importance of my love,
And like the peace of your mind in the land of your muse.
LKove, games, opinions, values;
The maturity of your mind is very important to me,
But the important role of moral values is what we all need.

WikiLeaks Revelations
Journalists write miles about WikiLeaks but they don’t say much,
I’ve wasted hours reading this stuff and it reads like double dutch,
About so called secrets and gossip - insignificant and rough.
Haven’t seen anything worth reading yet and enough is enough.
It all seems to be a lot of newspaper and magazine noise,
Trying to maybe make something out of nothing and dramatize,
If you find something important there, let me know right away,
Please because I’d like to know at least before Columbus Day.
It seems as though the end of the world might be coming soon,
And we should start paying attention to WikiLeaks by noon,
Keep reading the WikiLeak stuff because there’s more coming our way,
It could be very important or maybe not as much as they say.

Meant to Be Overheard
Listen to them...
And you can tell,
What kinds of people they are.
And what they value,
Most!
What they boast about!
And how that is done well.
It's important to them,
Where they live.
And the prices of the homes,
In their neighborhoods.
It's important to them,
Who they know.
And where they socialize,
At the private clubs they go!
It's important to them,
What they drive.
And the number of vehicles they own.
What they purchase and where they shop!
The prices paid.
To which charities they give.
And the amounts they gave!
It's important to them,
How many degrees they have.
Which schools they were on the honor roll.
The training of their pets.
And where their children are currently enrolled.
It's important to them,
Where they take vacations.
And travel first class...
'Of course! Don't you? '
On buses, trains and planes.
And that once a year 30 day cruise.
It's important to them,
Where they wine and dine.
With the utmost of etiquette.
It's important to them,
The churches they attend.
Their religious and political affiliations.
Where near the pulpit on pews they sit.
And how much they donate...
As an 'anonymous' gift!
And listening to all of this self centered display...
One is proud and honored,
To be lifted from this pretentiousness.
Feeling grateful to be from them fading away...
From such displays of selfish ways.
And feeling more of a wholesomeness to be lived.
Far more beneficial.
Than existing to flaunt and receive attention.
Today many could care less,
Who tries to impress.
With an embellish and over exaggerated intention!
Meant to be overheard as it is addressed.

Identity Of I
Identity is not what I promise others
Identity is what I do when I am alone
Identity is what I think of others
Knowing all the hatred they've shown
Identity is what every wound reminds me
Identity is what I learn and what I pass by
Identity is what I see in the mirror
After giving my best try
Identity is what I make out of my given chance
Identity is what I accept and what I deny
No one else has control over me
Life is about me, and what I identify

Well, you know, I think in conversations with members of the Senate and others, they all recognize that the issue of immigration is important. It's important to our nation, it's important to our public safety, it's important to our security, it's important to our economic well-being moving forward. And it's not something that's going to go away.

Importance
The thing that is important
Is not the thing that is good.
Importance is a quality
That entails attention
From one or a certain sect.
A focus of attention;
It leads to a value judgment
That grows in consciousness
To get integrated into it.
The type of value you build
Is there to influence your actions.

Manifesting a Connection Made With Sincerity
There were plenty of opportunities,
For us then to communicate.
I even mentioned how important that was.
And you stated how you had no need for that attention.
I did.
Since I could not have any relationship...
Without a chemistry of participation in it.
And you believed,
All you had to do was go through the motions.
There were plenty of opportunities,
For us then to communicate.
I even mentioned how important that was.
And you stated how you had no need for that attention.
I hope you have not remained that ignorant.
And success means much more to you today...
Than a paycheck you eventually give away,
Making attempts to impress that happiness means...
Addressing the best of superficiality there is.
I hope you have not remained that ignorant.
And have adopted something of depth...
That cries to thrive in your soul.
Something you feel alive that touches you...
Deep,
And manifesting a connection made...
With sincerity.

Here...Use My Megaphone
Excuse me.
I didn't hear clearly,
Your last statement.
Did you say...
'How do I feel about negative comments,
Made about me.
In this community?
'Yes.
My words exactly.'
Would you like to go on a tour?
'No...I've...uh...no.'
I'm to care about what is being said about me?
Is that it?
By people who regard that more important,
Than what's going on in their own lives?
Is that it?
Have you seen their thoughts reflected on the streets?
'Yes.'
And I'm to care what they say about me?
I am hopeful one day they will awaken,
To at least appreciate and value...
The importance of hygiene, discipline and self respect.
And I bet they will come to find,
Me not worthy of that kind of attention.
Not the kind they need to focus with an addressing of it,
Missed and dismissed to get back and look at upon themselves.
Other than that...
They are a fabulous bunch of nutts!
'Do you mind if I quote you? '
Quote me?
Here...
Use my megaphone!
It's more direct.
In fact you can have it.
I'm tired of using it.

Identity - The Bully
They all try to look the same
all try to give themselves a name
pick on the boy who is all alone
just because his identity is his own
what has this world come to?
all this wrong that people do
just for the image they want to show
down the evil path they seem to go
The next person you go to hurt
or try to make feel like dirt
instead of trying to look cool
feel for the guy you make look a fool
A cool identity isn't a need
let those you bully be freed
Your identity should be your own
A better person you will be known.
What 'Fit' Would I Want
Identity?
I've had one for so long.
All my life,
I have lived to perfect it.
I don't get upset with those with none.
Those who prefer to turn away and run...
If confronted!
Identity?
I know who I am without question.
Acceptance I don't seek.
Not from those
Who believe my identity
Might leave others afraid to speak.
Those familiar with others,
Who shuffle along with stances weak.
I have no problem,
Being me and that might offend.
'Too bad! '
'Get over it! '
Nothing else or more is there...
I care to share with them!
What 'fit' would I want,
If that which I enjoy...
Provides me comfort?

Self-actualization
Alone with myself,
So much comes into view.
Life and my purpose.
What is and not true.
Who does what and what I do.
And why and how all of this is connected.
Alone with myself,
I feel a power within.
I wish to find a way to express it.
A way to address...
And share with those who comprehend,
Self-actualization among those lost of identity
They will never understand or come to see.
And 'why' is that important to me that they do?
Alone with myself...
Praying!

Role To Mention
We are human but not perfect
Yet pretend to be ignorant with the facts
Remain in total in darkness with no curse
Care for no one and never feel with remorse
We are intolerant
And act as mean or less important
Take pride in false living
Boost in arrogant manner and firmly believing
Women by any means no mean
They are kind and very keen
To respond with care and affection
We only hurt them with our action
They believe in building relation
Smile and show the indication
We fail to respond only with one consideration
They are sex object and need no elevation
Where all these steps can can lead to?
Is our approach honorable and true?
If so then we may need complete overhaul
If not then it may certainly invite downfall
They have tolerated enough
Passed through and walked on rough
Surface with so much of insult
Yes survived the bond and rebuilt
I care not because they women
But as companion and true man
They need our care and attention
Forget about their important role to mention

With a Choice to Keep the Value
Why is it important to you now,
To hear my voice?
When it was you,
Who made not listening to me...
Your choice.
Why is my comprehension mentioned,
To be a priority of your concern?
I'm well aware of those lessons I've learned.
And few of them taught I seek to be repeated.
You brought to me then an acknowledgement.
And I did not hesitate,
To connect that to my common sense.
I received it and I heeded.
Why is it important to you now,
To hear my voice.
To review conversations,
I attempted to make...
That came to rest on deaf ears?
Perhaps there is a clarity,
Not understood before...
But overnight your eyes opened.
And a clarity that could have been yours...
Has now between your ears appeared?
Go ahead and say,
What you believe today is okay.
However,
If I should abruptly walk away...
Think of it as not being disrespectful.
But a sign of the times,
When one finds peace of mind.
With a choice to keep the value of it protected.
Think of my getting away from you,
In that perspective!
A treasured gift one gets...
To never be neglected.
