If This Would Mean An End To A Chase

I wish I could issue rose glasses to those in need.
Those hoping to get a taste of that dangling carrot.
Or a slice of apple pie topped with homemade icecream.
If this would mean an end to a chase.
And heartaches embraced would fade away from desiring,
Such teased treats to feed and fantasize.

I wish I could purchase enough peppermint sticks,
To dip in minted tea...
For all of those wishing a life lived in comfort and luxury.
Wouldn't it be nice to see on TV...
Parents laughing and singing with their children happily,
While engaged as a family living life peacefully.

If this would mean an end to a chase.
To live their lives as they see fit.
Without the constant bombardment,
Of being fed nonsense.
And heartaches embraced would fade away from desiring,
Such teased treats to feed and fantasize.

Heat It In The Kettle

Mix and blend before you can,
Feed me!
Heat it in the kettle then,
Feed me love!

Mix and blend before you can,
Put in the potatoes.

Heat it in the kettle then...
Use chopped beef.

Take that homemade bread out of the oven.
Thickly slice.

Thats How Heartaches Are Made

(halley / raleigh)
(thats how heartaches are made)
(thats how heartaches are made)
They told me I was such a fool to love you
They say that youre the kind whod never be true
Pretty soon the day would come
When Id be the sorry one
But I said that Im not afraid, well
Thats how heartaches are made
Thats how heartaches are made
I went ahead and my heart opened the door
I gave you so much love no-one could want more
You pretended to be mine
How could you be so unkind?
With all the other girls you played, well
Thats how heartaches are made
Thats how heartaches are made
Thats how heartaches are made
Thats how heartaches are made
I know youre not sincere
And youll never be
But still I want your kisses so desperately
I can never let you go
Baby, you know I know
Every rule of love you disobeyed, well
Thats how heartaches are made
Thats how heartaches are made
Thats how heartcahes are made

Without Getting Quick the 'Boot

You've got to love the one who attempts to mend,
And fix.
An addiction done that has folks totally transfixed.
To correct with an effort that slips in bits of truth...
Is a task no one has accomplished!
Without getting quick the 'boot'.

For generations realities have been based upon myths.
How can an honest person fight against this?
It takes more than brilliance with humor to get this done.
Especially when those affected,
Are humorless and stunned.

And yet it has to happen!
Since economically,
Values of one's life has to change.
Unlimited greed has been the tease of a dangling carrot.
Now that carrot has to be used...
And divided up in pots,
Between those who once 'had'...
And those who always 'had not'
To ease and feed pretensions and needs!

'Well...
That shouldn't be too difficult!
One group is accustomed to images.
While the other has never known what it's like to feed.
Add some collard greens in that cooked pot...
And see who rushes for it!
That should say 'something' about their appetities! '

(I'm So Glad) Heartaches Don't Last Always

CHORUS:
Tossing and turning and losing my sleep
'Cause heartaches by the number you gave to me
I'm so glad heartaches don't last always
I'm so glad heartaches don't last always

I feel uplifted and at ease
Since my heartaches went away
Someway

Halloween Approaches....[Short; Scary? ; Gross? ]

Halloween suddenly now approaches.
Let me eat some crawling roaches.
Let me kill some football coaches.
(And let me not forget the cute cheerleader.
To my pit bull I can feed her.)

Boys and girls will knock for candy.
I'll lock them in a cage that's handy,
and feed them, instead, some stew that's sandy,
made with rat tails and chicken legs
and wiggly worms and spider eggs.

I can't help my lustful craving for BLOOD,
which each October through my brain does flood,
like a scarlet explosion from a plump rose bud.
My knives are sharpened, my teeth are grating.
The porch light is on, my freezer's waiting.
I'll only harvest what I can handle,
luring them in using treats and a glowing candle.
They get their treats but then they are MINE!

My Special Friend, The Icecream Man

My friend and I have a special sort of relationship.
Everyday between 1pm and 7 he comes to play with me.
No, not in that way.
You sick freaks.

When I hear his loud child friendly song,
And when I see that big truck,
The one decorted in polk-a-dots,
I get all happy in my pants, and do a little dance.

Everyday I ask my special friend very politely,
'Mr. Icecream man, Sir., may I please have some candy cigarettes and an icecream cone? '
He says to me 'you sure can, sugar! '
I hand him the money and he hands me my treats.

Then we start with are thank you's and goodbyes.
It's quite a bittersweet moment.
Bitter because he has to go,
But sweet because I get to eat my treats.

24 hours later
The ritual repeats and repeats and repeats
Until that faithful day when it gets to cold and winter starts.
I really will miss that song and his big truck and them candy cigarettes.

Well I shouldn't be sad, I should lift my chin and smile,
Cause I know that he will be back again next summer,
But in the mean time I can't wait for tomorrow,
To see my special friend, the icecream man.

Sweet Sour Apple Bites

Orchard of apple and variety
Here you come, the apples lover
Come sing and praise like always
'Shining around the skin
Your colour is my favorite apple
The fresh one
So is your taste'

Apples smile and sing
'If i am green
A sweet sour love
Bite one, bite two
Bite still
Taste me my apples lover
Taste my sweet sour love
I'm green and sour
Pluck me bite me my lover'

The hunter replies
Bite one and some
Tasted your sour love
Bite still because i am the apple lover'

Apples smile continue the song
'If i am red apple
Sweet and moist
Bite one, then two
Bite more
Taste my sweet life
I'm red and taste nice
Bite one bite some
Taste me sweet you will like it'

'Green or Red
Bite sweet or bite sour
I must love you my apples
simply because...
I am the true apple lover'
Explained hunter

Sweet red or sour green
Sugar rich energy will reach your heart sooner
Running in your blood and pump the beat so dear
'O apples my dear i grow you in orchard to be with me so near'
Confessed by gardener, before apple answered
'You work hard and love so sincere, will fruit you love every year'

Bite one, sweet or sour everyday
Promise keeps you away from doctor
Bite one Bite some Bite all say the lover
Energy, Protect you always said apple

If you love something, make it further
This is what apple and hunter tell you, No Fears

Credit to Ahmed Khaled to point some issues of apples
so what i can say here it was inspired by Ahmed Khaled and fair to say this is our collaboration. Took of the chance to dedicate this poem for Steve, Co founder of Apple...All his courage to chase his dream is what i really called as an apple lover...

Meaning of this poem,
I want to talk about 'Do what you want' choose what you like
It's not all about apples, it is about...if you have a dream (your future)
make it real either you taste it difficult or easy you will always enjoyed it
just like i tell you in the story, green or red, sweet or sour
the apple hunter/gardener still like it, why simple cause the hunter like it
..As you know what you like and nod for the challenge, you will
get satisfied with what are you having, doing...it's your favorite choice
..Include the words 'An apple a day keeps doctor away' hoping you
understand, you will safe and satisfy if you choose the path you like
and you will safe from regret..Chase your dream :) _Unwritten Soul

An ever-relished chase

It has been a long chase
For something or the other
Over these years

As a kid it was a chase
For toys and play things

As a student it was a chase
For marks and ranks

As a youth it was a chase
After career and growth

And later it was chase
For getting the right life partner

The chase continued
For off-springs’ upbring

It was later to chase
For helping children settle

Ageing made me chase
For cure from illnesses
And other physical malfunctions
Yes,
It was a long chase for
Something or the others all these days

One understanding dawned in me
That
You will not get that
Which you have not chased
And
You will not get every thing
Which you have chased

Even if you get the object of your chase
It is not going to be in that form
In which it was when you started the chase

Unfruitful chase proves frustrating
Fruitful chase exciting

Wisdom will tell you that
The pleasure is more with the act of chase
Than getting hold of the object of chase
Holding of the object of chase
And sustaining its charm
Are essential after the end of chase

Very likely, chase for objects of
Worldly significance
Takes away your energy
And a lot of time elapses
Before you get in possession
Of your chase-objects
The duration at times is so large
That you wonder at the end of the chase
As to what for this object has been chased

The one chase which
Has the least probability
Of ending and
You hardly get hold of the
Object of chase
Is the
Chase for self-actualization
Or self-realization
This is the chase after your spirit
That kept you going all these days
And that will keep you going
Till that time when you away

Spiritual scholars assure
That this chase is really exciting
And remains so for any long
Whether or not
You come across what you are chasing

Develop a taste for such a chase
As this chase
Never makes you tired
But helps you remain balanced, cool
And unmindful of happenings
Around you

It is indeed an ever-relished chase

A New Low in Popularity

A new low in popularity he has reached.
But this is expected.
When has truth and honesty...
Been a determining factor to reveal,
In one's public speech?
He is chartering fresh territory.
And this people can not accept or believe.
Many perceive this to be unthinkable.

Even discussing those elements,
Over a slice of homemade apple pie...
And icecream,
Could result in a neighborhood brawl.
And he has stated the facts...
Without the backdropp of sweetened props.
Orchestrated with harmonizing voices.
He is not hollow.
Nor does he take steps with shallow intentions.

And people unaccustomed to this kind of leadership,
Seek a leader pretentious with image.
And not one with image who will have none of it.

til The Heartaches Gone

Let the tears fall like rain
If thats what it takes
To wash away your memory
Let the hurt take its time
I dont mind waiting
If thats the way its gotta be
Ill keep holdin on
til the heartaches gone
All the might have beens
And the never will bes
They can never take your place
But theyre all thats left
Of all that ever mattered to me
And they fill this empty space
And Ill keep holin on
til the heartaches gone
Ill make believe you still love me
til the heartaches gone
Ill pretend you still care
Youll always be here
til the heartaches gone
Baby I can make it through
The pain of losing you
If thats the way its gotta be
Ill keep holdin on
No matter how long

All are knights and princesses

A lass will fantasize about the knight
In the shining armour,
Who will come on a galloping horse
And sweep her off her feet
And walk with her into the sunset.

A lad will fantasize about the princess
In the velvet garment,
Who will wait for him in the parlour
And find him way to reach her
And walk with him into the dark spot.

Such like things may not happen in life
Yet don’t discourage them.
Thinking that it might or might not last,
No one will fantasize,
And the pleasure is neither denied.

Fade Away

When I was young
I thought I had my own key
I knew exactly what I wanted to be
Now I'm sure
You've boarded up every door

Lived in a bubble
Days were never ending
Was not concerned
About what life was sending
Fantasy was real
Now I know much
About the way I feel

I'll paint you the picture
'Cause I don't think you live round here no more
I've never even seen
The key to the door
We only get what we will settle for

While we're living
The dreams we have as children
Fade away
While we're living
The dreams we have as children
Fade away
While we're living
The dreams we have as children
Fade away
While we're living
The dreams we have as children
Fade away

Through Mud That Cheapens

Using someone who has been fully awake,
Is difficult to perceive...
For those who have been skating,
Through their lives.
With their eyes miraged on an oasis.

And equally,
It is not easy to take...
Those who fake their lives to live,
On a day to day basis.
Seeking a slice of homemade apple pie.
Or a taste of deliciously baked chocolate cake.

To see things as they are...
Few do!
And that is understood,
By the many escape mechanisms...
Many can pick from which to choose.

But to continue to use someone fully awake,
Eventually leaves feelings left to be hurt.
To experience heartache.
With the dragging of someone's integrity,
Unnecessarily through mud that cheapens.
And with a weakening done by a slinging of dirt.

Opposing Points of View

We are conditioned to fantasize truths,
And animate hatred as a form of entertainment!
Then we find ways to medicate ourselves...
To flee from realities haunting with nightmares.
Blaming others for not accepting a way of life,
That disturbs those who gather seeking peace.
Creating conflicts to implement this disease...
That creeps from a birth that leads to division,
Without remorse or self reflection!
With fears that 'enemies' threaten this mental illiness!
And peace is marketed to maim and weaken...
Using high tech weapons to kill and eliminate,
Opposing points of view that challenge with alternatives
That seek to please needs...
Without the bleeding of blood tasted,
Fed and addicting to those who are teased...
To cross these borders illegally to feed,
And digest!

Icecream

Why is icecream called icecream?
Instead of what it is?
Milk that is creamed,
With added sugar and flavoring...
To taste delicious after it is set to chill,
At a certain temperature.
Wouldn't it be easier to sell and order?

An End to Divisiveness

An end to divisiveness...
And politics based on fear,
Is closing in.
This idealogy embraced for generations...
Has an opporitunity,
To finally disappear.

Those raised on us,
Versus 'they' and 'them' strategies...
To conquer and win.
Are witnessing those lapses of gaps,
Being bridged to seal...
A humanity fed on conflict.
A humanity fed on superiority motives...
Based on one's color of skin,
Coming to an end.

People sliced into diced pieces,
Now can fight to chase fears.
Sending that and other nonsense conflicts...
On a flight to forever vanish.
Sending it away to disappear.
If minds are allowed to awaken...
To remove the clouds from eyes,
To have their visions cleared.

Inspite those who will for purposes continue...
A desperate need,
To keep things falling apart.
To feed the delicious taste...
Of an evilness they've been fed to breed.

Nutritious

That banana cake taste,
Grandma use to bake.
And was loved?
Is gone with the deep dish apple pie.

That smothered blade steak.
Served with black eye peas,
Collard greens and candied yams.
Sometimes with peach cobbler,
With rich vanilla icecream.
That too,
Locks in memories.

Those golden brown biscuits,
Fresh from the oven.
Buttered.
And topped with homemade,
Strawberry jam.
Or that cornbread no one can resist.
That too...
Is gone with the deep dish apple pie.

And today...
As grateful as I am,
To witness the arrival...
Of another Thanksgiving Day to celebrate.
I've never seen so many butts and thighs so wide.
And none of us who ate at grandma's,
Waddled from the table.
No matter what we ate.
Or nibbled all day...
On the honeyed ham,
Turkey sandwiches, potato salad...
Turnips.
Or just to sit to sip on eggnog.
None of us who ate at grandma's,
Waddled from the table.
Or stretched spandex!

Maybe fast food is fast!
But it sure is not nutritious.
Forget delicious.
It's just addictive and quick.
That's it!
And when we ate at grandma's...
We knew something whipped up with love,
Was coming out of the kitchen.
And not to sit too long,
Waiting for a decision made to eat.

And none of us,
Who came to eat to leave...
Did a waddle from the table.
Or stretched spandex!

'Why didn't you mention,
My fried chicken? '

I didn't even get a piece, grandma!

'Next time,
Eat!
And stop running your mouth so much.'

A Candy Kiss

A candy kiss so very sweet,
Like peppermint covered candy sticks.
Like chocolate covered cherry treats,
Swirling around inside your cheeks.

A candy kiss, just pure delight,
That leaves a taste of sugar on your lips.
Or that very special kiss good night,
Like pixie stix in tiny sips.

A candy kiss, like butter scotch,
Pure ecstasy that makes you drool.
Or like a homemade piece of fudge,
That you couldn't leave to cool.

Candy kisses so sweet and fine,
Can't get them at the candy shop.
But you will crave them all the time,
And hope to God they never stop.

Who have had the experience...
Of walking and talking.
With the ability to chew gum.
And,
Can appreciate the taste of a banana split.
With an occasional strawberry and banana smoothie,
Homemade with vanilla icecream and orange juice.
With wishes to whip up another.
Knowing the taste of this has been delicious.

All that other stuff,
Is not on my 'things to crave' list.

Immortal

Released on the cd-single for goodbye
Do you have the will to walk on water
Do you have the strength to part the waves
Do you have the lips to kiss a blood red rose
fore the colors start to fade
But are you tough enough to walk through the fire
Are you (? ? ? ) split the hangmans noose
Wanna ride, gonna slide, take it over the line
Hit the pin, kick it in
Im gonna win again
I dont wanna live forever
I just want a slice of the pie to call my own
I dont wanna live forever
Do you wanna be, like I wanna be
Immortal
Do you have the bread to feed the hunger
Do you have to choose to turn water to wine
Do you have the tears to cry me a river
Build a bridge to the other side
But are you holding out for the late edition
Gonna read all about it cause its frontpage news
So high, bone dry, got a thirst for life
Kiss the skin, drink it in
Im gonna win again
I dont wanna live forever
I just want a slice of the pie to call my own
I dont wanna live forever
Do you wanna be, like I wanna be
Immortal
Just like the gates of heaven
Theres no way back, theres no way back
Im ten miles high got the keys to the kingdom
Im back on track
Got a life and Im living it
Do you have the (game? ? ) to the tell me a secret
Or will I read all about it when its frontpage news
Wanna ride, gonna slide, take it over the line
Hit the pin, kick it in
Im gonna win again
I dont wanna live forever
I just want a slice of the pie to call my own
I dont wanna live forever
Do you wanna be, like I wanna be
I dont wanna live forever
I just want a slice of the pie to call my own
I dont wanna live forever
Do you wanna be, like I wanna be immortal
I dont wanna live forever
Cause I wanna be immortal
Do you wanna be immortal
I dont wanna live forever
