IF I Had 'Their' Time
Time and again,
People say they have none of it...
To do that which needs,
Their immediate attention.
And time and again,
The time that is wasted...
For them procrastinated to selected excuses,
Easy for them to make.
These are the people who say it's never too late,
To again...
Be freed of making decisions,
With a putting off what they see others do.
To say like most people who choose foolishness...
'IF I had 'their' time,
Of course I could achieve similar accomplishments.
But unlike them...
I don't have that kind of time to do what I wish.
I am not that fortunate.'

For those who say it is never too late,
It is!
The only thing those who choose to procrastinate do,
Is use more time to make excuses.
And this they do from the experience of it!
Doing so to abuse someone's time.

Some Are So Creative
When some folks begin...
To make excuses.
It is a process for them,
That never ends.
They keep making excuses,
To use and abuse their family and friends.
In an addicting process...
Predictable!
Eventually identified as lies.
And applied over and over again.
Some are so creative,
As to make people believe...
Those who can see through this,
Are wrong not to comprehend...
An obvious illness,
Hidden within!
And why excuses for them exist.
Going on in their minds,
Without the slightest resistance...
Time after time.
And then comes the campaign...
To discredit and bad mouth others.
Either stating someone believes,
They have opinions that are not concrete.
When anyone who has ever made contact with them...
Notices too late,
They too have been wrapped up in a waste of time...
Helping the excuse maker to defend!
Only to find themselves in public disagreements.
And having the innocent eyes of a pathological liar...
Gaining sympathy from those,
Who had not been over time exposed!

Sinking From the Weight
Sinking from the weight of,
Denial.
We put on trial,
People we choose to deceive.
And...
Sinking from the weight of,
Denial.
We put on trial,

Is it an offense or a needless crime,
To defy fighting against...
Your own kind?
With selected ones chosen,
To occupy our minds.
For purposes to protect.
Their interests kept.
Even though we who are selected...
To do these deeds,
By those in sheltered discreet...
We remain despised,
By those who disrespect.
And fed from birth,
To know when to cheat...
Spy, lie and use alibis.
Is it an offense,
To not follow rules...
That make no sense.
As we must listen to 'authorities'
Who attempt to convince.
If a certain status given,
Is that of a minority....
Concerns of the majority,
Is a worthless expense.
And given less attention.
Is any seriousness mention.
Since no rights have been given,
A worthiness to drive 'unimportant' lives.
You may ride as a passenger...
But not permitted,
To make decisions from front seats.
And to speak,
Only when spoken to!
With a preferred silence.
To make what is done...
Even sweeter to complete.

That's Why I Stay Away
There is not another excuse you can use...
To allow time to slip away from you.
Or to sit and wait for your happiness to appear.
If you have not done a thing,
To attract it near.
There is not another alibi to utter.
Or mumble in self centeredness...
About what you will do when the time permits.
There is nothing about time,
That is going to sit and wait.
Not for you to decide what decisions to make.
Or question what should take place with others,
In needless time consuming wasteful debates.
Others may say they accept who you are!
I do too!
And that's why I stay away.
No friendship I give,
Will be treated that way.
I don't like to feel,
What I value has been betrayed.
And loyalty...
For me does not need to be defined.
Your campaign for wishes to be understood.
Reeks from an ego that has done you no good.
But you in your stubbornness can not comprehend...
It's not what others have done to you.
But what they have allowed you to do to them.
And it's a shame they still claim you as a friend.
That's why I stay away.
I value what my friends choose to do and say.
And taking folks for granted...
Is not my way.
Nor will I ever find that kind of time...
To let thoughts like that occupy my mind.
I thank God I respect others.
And not of the selfish...

Observation Says It
Those who say,
They've stopped what they've done...
To spend more time with their families.
Need to be heard...
To begin the flowing of deception.
Many have a need to hear themselves,
Dancing through the bushes.
Give me eye contact on this one please!
How important was the family in the first place,
That one has had an option...
Whether to spend that time or not?
Time is made for...
Waste.
Procrastination.
Sleaze and drive by stops,
To silent cravings.
Shop.
And strolls through malls to wish.
When people are full of themselves,
Like this...
They make all kinds of excuses.
And the ones most creative,
Come from those knee deep in ego!
That's the way 'observation' says it goes.
After years of having other priorities,
No one is going to use guilt of doing what they want...
To satisfy anything the think they can,
For me!
Not after years of having other priorities.
Not here!
Not...
IF I am on their agenda.
And that had been established...
When times 'then' were fresh and exciting.
When people meet and say things sweet...
Doesn't it seem they've become stuck together,
With glue?
Until appetites change,
For a taste of something new.
Comeon...
None of this is rocket science!
Nonsense begets nonsense begets more of it!
And the evidence of that is all around.
Some carry it in their pockets.
That's how addicted they've become.
And for quite a few...
That nonsense is pressed up against their noses.
Or sitting in a prison cell.
A parent visiting a 'lost child'.
'Your honor...
I could have spent more time with my children,
BUT...
I was too busy creating acceptable excuses.
And hey...
What can I say?
I sold them.
And they were bought! '
If that excitement has gone...
Do not use alibis and excuses,
To try to recapture 'those moments'.
People who say they do 'this' and 'that',
For their families...
With a doing that is not there for them,
As real as the feeling of pain has been?
Gets no smothering of attention...
For an instant replay of 'could ofs' and 'what ifs'.
They shouldn't.
With expectations?
That's just how it is with me.
And why I choose to live alone.
If there is no time for me...
When no time comes to stay for anyone?
There is no need trying to find it!
It's gone!
That's it.
Time doesn't sit listening to time tick...
Or tock from a clock!
It just does not!

Under The Mango Tree
i like the idea
of doing many things under the mango tree
like
watching time go by like it is a stranger
and i
am a stranger too watching time pass by
like i am so interested
with what time
can do to me
making me old
making the mango tree bloom and flower and have fruits
and they are so many
that the mango tree bends
to the ground
and time stays for a while and ripens the fruits
and make all of them
in time
fall one by one to the ground
like some kind
of withered flowers
luscious, sweet, fruits of the mango tree
falling
by the slightest passing of the wind
and then the children
come and with all joy
pick them one by one
