Healing Has Its Sacrifices

Aching from pain hurts.
To numb and release from the origin...
Isn't easily done.
Not for the one,
Trying to find a solution...
To overcome from the affects.
Since the stinging of it seems to sit.

A direct weakness,
Clinches on as if bitten...
By sharp sinking teeth.
To free from this is a wish.
And it takes time!
Until the mind decides...
Either to harden or forgive.
To be frequently revisited,
By the appearance of embitterness.
At the expense of someone innocent.

Or...
One can choose to let go!
Of any feelings ever felt.
And to do one's best,
To forget ever having them!
Disconnecting to regret nothing.
In a recovery one justifies.

Healing has its sacrifices.
And life without sorrows to relive...
Is a gift when it comes.
To deliver happiness again.
With a choice one makes that remains.
Regardless of the circumstances.

(Choices Poem) Circumstances Unending

If you had to choose what would you do
Circumstances unending
A victim of life
A victim of death
A victim of compromises
A heart in pain either way.
To make your world a little more okay

To let the one you love go for the better
Or the happiness of poverty in suffering
Like a mother choosing for a child
you must make the decision out of true love.
Forever the greater good.
The eagle looks upon us all with his eyes.
Only if I could see it that way.

If you had to choose what would you do
Circumstances unending
A victim of life
A victim of death
A victim of compromises
A heart in pain either way.
To make your world a little more okay

When you do such a thing their is no going back
Chasing after something you threw away.
All in a attempt to be the better man.
The homeless playing a game of kick the can.
Nobody ever wins.
It is to pass time as it will always do.

If you had to choose what would you do
Circumstances unending
A victim of life
A victim of death
A victim of compromises
A heart in pain either way.
To make your world a little more okay

Regret and bitter
Feelings that will never sit well with you
Your determined to overcome, and it not be prolonged
She is gone.
Forever a bad choice.
That you wouldn't want to change.

If you had to choose what would you do
Circumstances unending
A victim of life
A victim of death
A victim of compromises
A heart in pain either way.
To make your world a little more okay

The portrait of your face betrays the feeling inside.
The things you try to bury and hide.
At one time you were happy.
At one time you smiling and so full of spirit.
But now you fall into a very empty depression.

If you had to choose what would you do
Circumstances unending
A victim of life
A victim of death
A victim of compromises
A heart in pain either way.
To make your world a little more okay

No one will come and pick you up.
If you fall it will be you last one.
Like a soldier you still march as if you were still on call.
Duty and service is all you've ever known.
And now a world sits before you.
And still your all alone.

If you had to choose what would you do
Circumstances unending
A victim of life
A victim of death
A victim of compromises
A heart in pain either way.
To make your world a little more okay

I Choose To Heal

I've decided not to be reminded of my griefs.
I've learned that carrying a baggage of sorrows,
Only weighs on my back...
Unhappiness to be left to be repeatedly monitored.

Tears cried as others measured my pain,
On a scale from one to ten...
Are days I've chosen not to live.
Again!
And again.
AND...again without end.

Why should I celebrate my agony,
On a regular basis?
What does doing this for me achieve?
A hatred and bitterness I pray from me will leave?
Or a constant search to seek validation,
How miserable my life lived can be?

NO!
For others that may be so,
To acknowledge without a letting go.
But for me...
My happiness comes with the knowing,
I can forgive.
Not forgot!
My mind wont let me do it.
But make attempts to forgive I can do.

I've decided not to be reminded of my griefs.
I've learned that carrying a baggage of sorrows,
Only weighs on my back...
Unhappiness to be left to be repeatedly monitored.
I choose not to keep my healing wounds,
Left to pick to bleed repeatedly in anger.

I choose with faith,
That God will handle my business.
I choose with faith,
God has my back.
And will correct all that has gone wrong,
To make right for my life.

I choose with faith,
That God will handle my business.
I choose to heal,
Not to relive moments of my agonies.
I already know what it takes to moan.
I already know that process.
I've renewed my commitment to living.
And give my deepest respect,
To those who had experienced...
Untimely deaths.

I choose to heal.
Not to be left,
For the rest of my life dropping tears wept.
To spend in the process of mourning.
Riding high on the shoulders of grief.

Even If He Feels It

Wise is the man who stumbles...
Gets up.
And continues to move forward.
Many would rather sit,
And relive the experience,
Of it.
To discuss the affects.

A man who stumbles,
Will not allow himself to be broken.
Even IF he feels it.
He may even show it hurts.
However,
When he begins to believe he is...
He will spend the rest of his life,
A broken man.
With only sadness to offer!
And memories of failure to share.
Recalling a stumbling fall,
Over and over.

Wise is the man who stumbles...
Gets up.
And continues to move forward.
Many would rather sit,
And relive the experience,
Of it.
To discuss the affects.

Seeking pity!
Or something to numb,
The effects of regret!

I Like That Bite of Edgar's

I like that bite of Edgar's.
That one that takes flight in the night.
To rest on chimneys...
Leaving a darkened shadow
Cast by a glowing full moon night!
I like that bite of Edgar's.
A troubled brilliance seeking escape.
From a mind that has suffered
From his own and others' heartbreaks.
And to sit alone with thoughts to write.
Allowing a forbidden bitterness,
The head will not forgive!
And to deliver a quick liquor shot.
To ease a pain felt.
But no one will believe!
Not from the words left behind,
One reads.
I like that bite of Edgar's.
After he is read.
And the gloom in Edgar's head remains...
He sustains,
With a style...
Not easily forgotten.
I like that bite of Edgar Poe's.
And I know now...
He had to numb to succumb,
To chance a romance he was after...
That flew away one day,
Into the darkened night!
And then...
Death seemed to have come knocking.
Knocking!
To repeat unrelentless-ly!

Dedicated to:
Edgar Allan Poe

'To feel such anguish within.
Touched by diversed experiences,
that brings a clarity to one's life.
So emotionally vivid...
One can only reach out to this world
in the form of writing to express the depths of our pain
and unaccepted sorrows we keep inside of us.
That undescripted anguish that torments, unresolved.'

Sorrow Makes One A Hero Tomorrow

Without sorrow life is zero
We must accept fate's arrow
If our efforts are thorough
Our sorrow, God will borrow

Sorrows nicely shape our mind
Sorrows stop our being blind
Via sorrows, remedies we find
Sorrows are indirectly kind

In the absence of sorrow
Our mind does not grow
We think not like a hero
Our attitude is made narrow

Sorrows must be overcome
For which efforts we welcome
At last strong we become
This is sorrows' outcome

Our will-power, sorrows increase
To our heart, sorrows supply grease
Our talents, only sorrows release
In a gist, sorrows supply peace

Every sorrow at last dies
Not because of our cries
But because our soul tries
Life and success, sorrow ties

Sorrow less person is none
Sorrow is sure, if life has begun
'Sorrow trains brains' is a slogan
Sorrow is a tamable dragon

In sorrow, all must dip
By coming under its grip
All are lashed by sorrow's whip
To every life, sorrow makes a trip

Now sorrow will somehow vanish
But you cannot fully relinquish
Further sorrows, time will furnish
From life, sorrow, none can banish

Life and sorrow are closely associated
By life, sorrow is very much fascinated
By sorrow, peace is initially confiscated
Sorrow grows when life is sophisticated.

Overcome

even now the world is bleedin' but feelin' just fine all numb
in our castle where we're always free to choose never free enough
to find i wish somethin' would break cuz we're runnin' out of time

and i am overcome i am overcome holy water in my lungs i am overcome

these women in the street pullin' out their hair my master's
in the yard givin' light to the unaware this plastic little place
is just a step amongst the stairs

and i am overcome i am overcome baby holy water in my lungs i am overcome

so drive me out out to that open field turn the ignition off
and spin around your help is here but i'm parked in this open space
blockin' the gates of love

i am overcome i am overcome holy water in my lungs i am overcomed

beautiful drowning this beautiful drowning this holy water
this holy water is in my lungs

and i am overcome i am overcome i am overcome i am overcome

Forgive As You Have Been Forgiven - Acrostic #3

Forgive as you have been forgiven
Overcome the pain by setting it free
Remember He paid for all of it
Grace and mercy for you and me
In your heart release the burden
Verily you have the keys to the prison
Each bitter memory kept you forsaken.

Ask not for vengeance or retribution
Seek that the offender be blessed

Yesterday can never be brought back
Only nagging scars rob you of happiness
Until you let go, peace you will always lack.

Heaven is here where you are
As He promised He will never leave you
Vast is His forgiveness, it is not far
Each one can be touched by Him, it's true.

Be at peace with yourself by forgiving
Eternity is too long for silent anger
Enjoy the freedom of the sun shining!
No heaviness carried now and hereafter.

Forgive and you are also forgiven
Offer it up to the Past Who is waiting
Resolve to forget and never look back
Gladly receive the relief you've been seeking
It all depends on you and your choice
Vexations only make life hard for living
Everything will pass, it's time to rejoice!
Now let go of it, and go with Forgiving.

Forgive And Forget

Forgive and forget as I've been told
That query keeps coming to my mind
As 'I forgive' is the easiest words for one to say
But to forget, to me it seems like a crime.
To forget the evils that someone has done
Or even the evils or lies that they had spoke
To walk away as they never had accrued
As though to have a nightmare and never to awoke.
When we were young we are taught by our elders
To forgive the trespasses against us one and all
We must forget the pain and suffering that we felt
And must lock that away behind our own brick wall.
The lies and the evils that were done to us,
Even by friends and the ones who we had loved
We must then say that I forgive you one and all
And to some, that forgiveness is not even enough.

Forgive and forget those words we have heard
Even the bible does speak the same
To forgive the sins that were committed against us all
And so against no one can we ever curse or blame.
Sometimes though it seems like in this life
The wrong doers are always asking to forgive and forget
And then the moment that you smile and accept their request
They attack you, and they feel no sadness or regret.
Forgiving sometimes it is so very hard to do
And then to forget that person of their evil deeds
While trying not to remember what they have done to you
While wishing in them, you once again could believe.
Now as I think about my very own past
Of all the wrongs and evil deeds to me I must accept
I read that forgiveness is mine so said the Lord
So now I toss the evils done to me off to forgive and forget.

Free Your Mind

Elevated, I feel elevated
I feel the love inside
I dont want to hide
Communication - is our destination
Be what you wanna be
Let the music set you free (x3)
Life is the key, what you want it to be
Release your mind
Release your mind
Open yourself to the universal truth
Free your mind
Free your mind
I close my eyes and I realise,
Something deep inside
Makes me feel alive
I seek to find, a better state of mind
Im gonna live my life
Im reaching for the sky (x3)
Life is the key, what you want it to be

Choice of life

Human have a gift named a choice
Human have an illusion named a choice
There is no other creature that should decide more to live

Human have a hope called a choice
Human have despair called a choice
There is no other creature that trapped often in such continuous and repeat conflict

Some could turn good because one choice
Some could turn bad because one choice
All have the consequence but right or wrong will never be known before

Human have a wish for a choice
Human have regret for a choice
There is no other creature that always goes between happiness and sorrow

When a choice made not all may be satisfied
When a choice made not all may be rescued
But the change will never happened if we stay silent

Human have fate to choose
Human also choose their fate
The interaction of those things will create what people called the choice of life

Far More Effective

The lies and dirt
And hearing things untrue.
The gossip and innuendos...
Done by those with limited minds too!
There is nothing else I would rather do,
Than to pull these thoughts
Out of my memory...
With the pain I felt!
And the scars that healed with much attitude!
It hurts...
To know others find feelings of mine,
Worthless.
It hurts...
When lies and dirt
And hearing things untrue said
To ruin my happiness...
And to mess up my head!
It hurts!
But not as much as being on the other end
Of retaliation!
Even forgiveness doesn't seem to control it,
When that times comes...
To payback what others have done!
I am not of the 'turn-the-other-cheek' kind!
I pray everyday that God removes the players...
And the bitterness I've been holding for years,
In my mind for some time!
Doesn't make sense repeating the ignorance.
Especially since those deeds done
Have already been repaid with my approval and delight...
By my Father!
And I thank God throughout every hour,
He has allowed me to overcome my taste for retribution!
Knowing that a 'higher power' does that
Much better than I can!
And far more effective.

Joy and Anger

Joy is an overwhelming feeling to be happy,
But more, To feel so delighted with God, you see;
It's an awesome happiness, that makes one delighted within,
A life so pleased and coping cause God's taken away their sin.

Anger is a time of hurts, and feelings of terrible fury,
That you just see everything negative, one's mind is blurry;
It gets one so mad at everyone who'll disagree with you,
And all you do, is to get into a tether, and end in a stew.

Joy is like a rainbow, such beauty and glowing for all to see,
It makes one laugh, To feel delighted at the smallest bee;
It's a gift from the Lord, That remains with you to share,
And when you think it's enough, there's plenty always to spare.

Anger will get one down, it's like a black cloud that won't go away,
But if we don't deal with it, anger will be in your subconscious to stay;
Anger can cause one to bring much strife more than you need,
So please deal with it first, go to God, and certainly plead.

Heaven And Hell

What if I told you
There was no place you could run to
To hide from your fears
Where good is bad and bad is good
And all the cries your cry
No one can hear
Is it heaven - is it hell
Life is what you make it only time will tell
Is it heaven - is it hell
Life is what you make it only time...
Need someone to talk to
But theres no one you can turn to
You cry out in despair
Gotta feeling you should be kneeling on your knees
You scream to the air
Lord the pain it takes its toll
The devil wants to take my soul
Tell me what should I do
The answer that you need to find
Is in the seeds youve sown
Its all up to you
Its your life - its up to you
Now its time to choose
Death and destruction is all in your mind
Could hell be the place for the peace you must find
Its your life - its up to you
Now its time to choose
Is God your savior - the key to the light
Or is it hell burning the flames so bright
Its your life - its up to you
Now its time to choose
Times running out - not a second to pause
Be strong in your choice
The decision is yours
Its your life - its up to you
Now its time to choose

Spirit To Be Adored

So much is said about rose flower
A natural gift offered by rainy shower
Thousand times better in shape and show
Even in jungles naturally it grows

Beautifully guarded by small thrones
The pain offered is not easily gone
It reminds us of nature's protection
The shield provided against any harmful action

It has symbolic presence in people's mind
People are considerate and have feelings very kind
No one thinks of touching it to offer disgrace
Watch just from distance and bring happiness of face

In life too it is compared with beautiful woman
Always wanted by and longed for by the man
It is god's blessings that both are equal in terms
And remain unfilled when some one ditches in turn

It hurts most and heart remains disturbed
The feelings and attachment remains uncurbed
Man looses the will power to live in world
Life turns barren and wishes are pushed in cold

Not in all the cases love is respected in real sense
So many people deceive the counterpart and commit nonsense
Leave them to their fate and claim total ignorance
One time beloved and lover now ceases to be Florence

Love may hurt but give enough courage too
W will power to survive and prove true
That love is not the things to be ignored
As gift, as blessing and as divine sprit to be adored

The Truth Within

The Violin in his hand, His mind is at a far
The tears held within: the winds resemble his sorrows
The strength in his voice, the pain in his soul
Why hold it all when the truth lies in your soul

The smiley face fades like the watery paint
The thought hit him like a dream in broad daylight
Patient was his virtue, but sorrow was to overcome
Why hold it all when the truth lies in your soul

His silence got the best of him
Now his pain cant be faded by her words
He would rather hold her than leave her,
His words wont change her mind
Why hold it all when the truth lies in your soul

She was a treasure worth keeping
but the wrong treasure for him 'she once said
Healing the truth, Healing the wounds
Regret is unbearable, Time is at its essence
Why hold it all when the truth lies in your soul

Sometimes the truth makes us walk away without a word
Sometimes it avoids us hurting the treasures in our lives
The best he hopes times forgives him
But it never does it reminds him the constant mistakes of his silence.

Seeing You Dying, Hurts

Ever wonder, just a ponder
what life would be like
if we were told we had little to live
tears and fears, mind blowing
what to do, no time to go
the anger, the pain, the stress
how long to go, no one knows
could be fast, maybe slow and last
forever we want to live
we pray for long life and healthiness
why do we get picked, not our choice
people been there some survive.others don't
thinking where life should go
quit the job, see the world
sit and moan, don't frown
get on your feet live it well
happiness extents life
be free and enjoy those days
number as they are
limited as you go, be with the ones who care
for they will suffer the most
living without you
give them memories to share
do not spare, they do care
pictures and stories last forever
good and bad, tears and laughter will fall
missing you will be so hard
been together for all your life
the world will be so lost
without you there
have to find away to go on
it's not the same, things will change
lives will go on
never let go, you been told
it's so hard to let you go
time so cruel, it's running out
please forgive me if I cry
your a big part of our lives
stay around and have some fun
life is grand and so are you
give it all, don't let time end
love makes time, time makes life
I will smile till the end
cry to myself, show no pain
the hurt so hidden
makes me think
why not me, why you

Such As a Bad Habit

I've been on my own and alone for too long,
To know a few things about patience and life!
And those who have not had that experience...
Know very little about sacrificing their likes,
To endure putting up with unwelcomed dislikes.

There has been many things done I did,
That I disliked but tolerated.
In fact I hated going through the process.
And when I had the opportunity,
To do those things enjoyed and liked...
Not a moment did I waste in indecision.
I might have been confused...
But not crazed.

People who spend time whining,
Get on my nerves.
And I am quick to split away from them.
In mid-sentence,
If I have to do it!
I am not attracted to 'whoa-is-me' people.

My father use to tell me,
How as a child...
He had his teeth pulled,
Without novocain.
He told me this frequently...
Whenever I thought he was just around,
To make my life easier.

'Come on, Daddy!
It's just ten dollars! '

I am one of the fortunate ones,
I will admit that!
And with obstacles and setbacks...
I crawled back to get myself on track!
I wasn't about to spend my life,
Traumaticized by emotional ties!
Or gossip and lies...
Folks entertain themselves to tell!

My relationship with God...
Is close.
And we communicate very well!
God is there...
And delivers!

I don't give advice,
Or recommend what others do!
I use to...
Do that,
Often!
And ended up being screwed.
Figuratively speaking!
Even though it is still just as painful.

I've learned many lessons in my life.
And the hardest one was to forgive and forget.
At times I am visited,
With an embitterness that sits.
it takes a while to get over it.
But I am not going to soon let go of my peace of mind,
Or happiness.
Because someone wants to show and display,
Every bit of their ignorance.
With attitude seeking acceptance.

And those folks,
In some places...
Travel around in cliques.
As if what they do is fashionable.

And after one obtains a degree of consciousness...
Folks like that become easier to identify.
Such as a bad habit,
One has to end to quit...
And quick!
Like a fad that has been outdated.

Forgive you

Forgive you
It is not hard to forgive you
Transparent heart, i know who are you
It is okay to forgive you
Need no reason, just forgive you

Pains u gave me, smiles i give you
Hates can stab me, please not to you
You innocent in the eyes of anger
Truth will be seen a bit longer
Never mind how deep you cut my skin
Never mind how bloody heart i felt in
I just can't hate you
Everything u do, forgive you

I need to save you from dark
So just give me all your pain
Cleanse your suffering marks
I'll wipe away your trouble not to stain

Then, when a chance came to me
Finally i have to leave you
Doesn't mean grudge buried me
But no chance to tell you
When truth comes tell everything
Don't feel regret or bad feeling
I told you, i forgive you
But now forgive me for leaving you
Only one thing i want you always do
Smile as sincere u can do
We still friend, promise you, i do..
Forgave you, now Forgive me

Mankind Free Spirit.

Mankind come with a free spirit.
Presented to us in a kit.
We have the choice between life and malediction,
It is up to us to accept the condition.

Certainly if our choice is curse or called malediction,
We never run out of the worst things as a reaction.
We will have plenty of fear and misery,
Our life will be always a slavery.

However, if we choose LIFE and keep our mind on that,
Easily handling everything like a seasoned diplomat.
Our life will be humble, easy going and light,
Only wisdom come with each lesson and life will be bright.

But, you have to keep your mind constantly full pledged,
Then you will go through life in true happiness whole hearted.
Faith in goodness or we can call it positive,
If you learn that, you will never be obstructive.

I asked God from Anonymous.

I asked God for Wisdom, He said: NO
You have to learn from every experience and maybe you'll find your own.

I asked God for Health and Healing. He said: NO
You'll have to take the best care of your body, know that nobody can help, specially if you do everything in your power to destroy it.

I asked God for Wealth. He said: NO
You have to learn what you think comes to you. Never dwell on poorness, waste, credit card abusing, but learn to be grateful for what you have now that you could deserve more later.

I asked God for happiness. He said: NO
You have to find peace and true happiness within yourself, without trying to force others.

I asked God to love others. He said: NO
First you have to learn to love and respect yourself and then you'll love and respect others.

GOD said: Go my child and find your own answers. You have the free will, you have the choice between LIFE or malediction.
If you are able to choose LIFE, kindness, respect everyone for what they are, you find that with a light, lovely life.

If you choose malediction, anger, jealousy, hatred, revenge, greed, you will get same for your lessons.
